someone I follow on the bird app just announced they're starting a very exclusive private fic server because they and a bunch of other people want to talk about how much they love the fics they're reading, and as an author can I just say that a really great place to talk about a fic you love is in the comments for that fic

I understand that people are trying to create safe spaces, but as the number of comments that I get on my fics dwindles with each passing year, knowing these spaces exist where my fics are being discussed, places that I am excluded from, makes me want to write fic LESS

I mean I guess who cares, right, because if I stop writing, there's 10,000 other people that will continue...but if you participate in a fic "book club" server and you say nice things there about a fic you loved, maybe copy and paste that into a comment on AO3?

the only thing fanfic writers are asking for in return for hours of hard work is attention. please don't rob us of the one thing that we hope for when we hit "post"

Had some more Rendad thoughts lol, hope Im not too spammy:

- Ren showing Fundy's new DSMP friends his childhood pictures cuz he's just a proud dad. But Fundy is super embarrassed and is like "Daaaaaaad...Dad no... please..."

- Fundy (and eventually Ren) meeting Philza. I dunno what would happen, but I feel like it would at least be a bit awkward lol

- Ren meeting George after Fundy introduces him. Idk if George and Fundy would have been a thing by then, but hey, maybe Ren sees the way George looks at Fundy longingly and is just like "Awwwwwwww 🥺" Maybe he even gives him some advice (and permission lol) to persue his son's heart.

- If Dream tries to pull anything (especially trying to do something to Fundy) after Ren and the other Hermits arrive, oooooh boy... He is a dead man after Ren gets a hold of him :)

- Ren adopting the rest of the kids on the server (Tubbo, Ranboo, Tommy, etc). They are his pack now and you cannot tell him otherwise.

WRONG! Ren exposes the hell out of him. Turns out the scar comes from Fundy being a dumbass kid left on the care of Team ZIT and he face planted against an iron door and broke his nose (let’s remember he is super duper allergic to iron because he is fae).

-it is awkward since the SBI side of family are still a bit shaken about Fundy existing and they do wanna get familiar with him but they gotta check some issues… they gotta resolve their issues with Wilbur and not project on Fundy…. Probably Ren would want to met them while Fundy is like “I dunno dad”. But yeahhhh very awkward… SBI is trying to see Wilbur in Fundy and seeing Ren is a very real reminder that Fundy has like… nothing to do with Wilbur so yeahhhhhhhh super duper awkward

-Plan is Ren meets George as Fundy’s friend but the old dog knows but he doesn’t intervene because that’s Fundy’s conversation to have. Once Fundy takes George to Hermitcraft to present him as the boyfriend Ren is just happy for them

yeahhhhhhhh so summer's coming along and school's ending and stuff and the only way that ive been able to go onto my social medias is through this school-assigned laptop (thank the school (for laptop) and my mother during last summer (eeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrgfgh..,,, horrible incident including tiktok and asking for basic freedom and rights occured) for these circumstances and opportunities). So yeah like i said i was only able to go online through this laptop due to not having a phone nor anything else to access media (unless you count my crappy nintendo 3ds's internet browser where i watch murder cases and roblox youtubers on youtube). What this means is that since this laptop is the school's i'm going to have to return it back to them sometime next week or next next week which also means that i wont be able to do any summer posting or reblogging until probably the fall (or sooner- my mom is "trusting" me again with another phone but im still testing the waters on what can i get and what i cannot get. if you're curious to know more then dm me. i can use another living being to rant about the incident since im still shooken up from my taking (and possibly breaking????) phone from ALMOST A YEAR AGO).
