Hello!!! I've been debating this for some time and I think I'll be stepping a bit out of the mcyt space. I love Minecraft, the fandom and the creativity it has, I've met wonderful people and artists alike but I've been unintentionally watching less content surrounding this world. It will forever carry this fandom close to my heart

This post is just to say that!! Specially for people who follow me for mcyt art (since me not watching mcyt cc's means not much mcyt art anymore) and if someone's curious I'll try to switch up to Pokemon art and I'll be rebbloging that content and trying to find a little corner in the pokemon fandom 🫂

something really gets me about az's position in pokemon legends z-a. the disgraced king, who dragged the burden of his actual, legitimate crimes against humanity behind him for 3000 years, who had nothing and no one until a couple of young trainers crossed his path, now runs a hotel. it's a bit shabby, but its a place for wayward travellers (like him) to rest. theres something beautiful about that. and dont even get me started on the fact that he apparently needed a cane that entire time and finally has one

Currently experiencing Feelings™️ thanks to the new Legends Z-A trailer dredging up memories of my time with Pokémon X. I was 15 years old. I had literally just returned home after a super fun week at my grandparents' house near the Rocky Mountains. I carried my suitcase to my room, and darn near dropped it on my foot when I found a new-in-box cherry red 2DS with a pre-installed copy of Pokémon X sitting in the middle of my neatly-made bed. Tore back into the living room like a bat outta hell and slammed into my brother Rax (the only person who could be responsible for this) with enough force to knock the wind out of him as I threw my arms around him. He doesn't know this, but I've never forgotten the breathless way he laughed and said, "I'm happy to see you too."

Anyways, yeah. I'm really excited for Legends Z-A, and I'm happy to see so many people talking about their own fond memories of the Kalos region. Might still be cringe of me to say, but I've always been a Gen VI girlie, even though my first Pokémon game was actually Diamond.

...So this new game had better run at more than 12 FPS, or else I am going to have some words the likes of which I've never said before for Game Freak.

This might be a stretch but im going to share the idea anyway - the way the new official art has az sitting in a "small" chair, it seems to be not only point out his old age and tall stature, but also an implicit callback to his royal past....the way he sits with the cane gives off the impression of sitting on a throne with a sceptre. Im probably reading too much into it though, idk.
