Funny Genshin Headcanons Based Off of my In-Game Teams!

Super long post, but I had fun with this!

Please note that I don't know all the lore perfectly, so some of these may be out of character. It's also colored a lot by my experiences playing them, especially the adventuring teams ♡

(General Traveling Team) Venti, Kokomi, Bennett, Kazuha

Kokomi has saved everyone at least once and will make everyone stand next to the jellyfish after a fight whether or not they're injured.

She also constantly freezes herself and her teammates, but her healing means they can't really get mad at her. She can certainly get mad at herself though.

Venti and Kazuha have a rivalry and often compare poetry in moments of repose.

Kazuha will use a leaf to play backing music to Venti's lullabies at night. He always falls asleep before the end of the song.

Venti and Kazuha also get into stupid competitions while climbing mountains. Venti frequently runs out of stamina, and Kazuha frequently slides all the way back down after misjudging the angle of the slope.

Bennett is beloved by the group. Venti is the most frequent victim of his bad luck.

Meaning: Venti is frequently set on fire and hit by enemies that really shouldn't have been able to hit him.

Most of the time it was in a genuine effort to protect Bennett.

The rest of the time it is Bennett accidentally burning the grass and causing Venti to suffer.

Venti is the one to most frequently need a Statue of the Seven. Kokomi normally has everyone else covered.

Despite his luck, Bennett is the only one to have never needed a Statue of the Seven... yet.

Kokomi takes hits that she doesn't think the others will survive. There's about a quarter of a chance that she just ends up dying herself.

Kazuha frequently takes risks while gliding. He hasn't died yet.

Kokomi does lecture him for it. It doesn't stop him.

Kazuha is the go-to miner because of his easy plunge attacks. This does not make the process quick.

Despite Kokomi's passive, everyone has drowned at least once.

Kazuha has drowned the most.

When no one wants to fight they have Venti plop himself on a vantage point and snipe at enemies from afar. It's a time-consuming process, but they've done it a few times.

Venti has scored the most critical hits, but Bennett has scored the most kills.

Most of those kills have been Venti. Via Burning.

Lawachurls and vishaps in particular take great joy in ramming Bennett off cliffs, but he's either tanky enough to survive or lucky enough to land in deep water.

If someone else tries to take the hit they always die and have to be brought to a statue.

All in all, they like hanging out with each other and are pretty good friends. Kokomi is unfortunately the responsible one, but Bennett doesn't exactly cause trouble on purpose.

(Freeze Team) Kaeya, Chongyun, Xingqiu, Kazuha

Since Chongyun and Xingqiu are stuck to the hip, Kaeya hangs out more with Kazuha than the other two. They're friendly but not exactly friends.

Kaeya thinks Kazuha is sus but won't say it.

Kazuha thinks Kaeya is sus bc his vibes are off.

Xingqiu thinks Kaeya is sus, but Kazuha's cool because Beidou trusts him.

Chongyun thinks they're both cool but that Kaeya takes too much joy in teasing him.

Kaeya also has... unorthodox methods that no one likes. They're effective... but also likely to give heart attacks and grey hairs.

Xingqiu does most of the talking.

Chongyun occasionally overheats, Kaeya takes great pleasure in throwing cryo at him. No one's quite sure if he's being mocking or genuinely helpful. Either way, it gives them enough time to make him an emergency popsicle.

When they lack the means to make a popsicle, they have actually just straight up run to Dragonspine. Kaeya usually ends up as the one carrying him, even though he's the DPS and really should have his sword hand free.

Kazuha appreciates Chongyun because he doesn't have to mine with plunges.

There isn't really a healer, so if they're injured after a fight and too far from a Statue, they just have Xingqiu use his Rain Swords and very slowly heal each of them up to full health.

It usually isn't that bad because they don't often fight things that can't be frozen. That doesn't mean the enemy won't get in a few hits before they freeze though.

Kaeya and Chongyun working together means ice-bridging is very fast.

That doesn't mean Xingqiu hasn't slipped off a few times.

Xingqiu and Kaeya can both cook. Chongyun trusts neither of them to do so and usually ends up eating whatever fruit Kazuha foraged instead.

Cryo slimes are their mortal enemies.

All in all, they're mostly friendly, but Kaeya causes some friction with Chongyun and Kazuha in particular. (This man woke up a ruin guard to help out in a fight. He can and will use dangerous methods to get the job done.)

(DPS Venti) Venti, Layla, Bennett, Faruzan

Faruzan really likes them, because Bennett and Venti always call her Madam.

Layla sometimes forgets but she gets a pass because she's constantly sleep deprived.

Layla's only job is to provide them (or at least Venti) a shield. They don't make her do anything else because she deserves a nap. She will sometimes set up her Celestial Dreamsphere for them though!

Since Bennett is the only healer, they make occasional trips to a statue of the seven to avoid wasting his burst.

Faruzan actually ran the numbers to see how much stronger she and Bennett were making Venti... and promptly threw them away.

(No one needs to know how powerful that bard actually is.)

Faruzan and Venti will exchange archery tips, alongside general information about the study of language. Since Venti is always listening and participating, Faruzan has decided he's her friend for life.

And also his views on language through a bard's lens are extremely inreresting.

(And sometimes a bit too well-informed)

Bennett understands exactly zero of what anyone is talking about, but is happy enough to act as Layla's pillow (he's warm) or Faruzan's captive audience (she knows he doesn't understand, but by the archons she will find a way to teach him.)

Venti thinks Faruzan is a nice change of pace; Mondstadt doesn't have many die-hard academics like her, and her area of study is definitely something any bard would take even a mild interest in.

Layla likes that they don't try to make her participate. Sometimes Venti even helps her with her studies, and points her in the right direction if she needs it.

(She won't question why the bard is so informed. She heard there was an astrologist in Mondstadt. That's good enough for her.)

Bennett is like a little brother, and he's warm. She sometimes can't help just falling asleep on him.

Though occasionally there's a rude awakening when a tree branch nearly falls on them or a slime decides to attack.

Venti plays them lullabies every night, to ensure peaceful dreams and restful sleep. Those are the best sleeps they've ever had.

All in all, they're very good friends. Venti and Faruzan are besties, and Layla and Bennett are the little siblings they drag around.

(Aggravate) Tighnari, Fischl, Lisa, Baizhu

Tighnari and Lisa have a mutual respect for each other, given that they both told the Akademiya to fuck off.

Baizhu is an honorary member, because even though he was never part of the Akademiya (i think), he's still researching new medicines outside of the Akademiya's influence. And he's extremely good at it.

Baizhu finds Fischl interesting and somewhat annoying, but only in the way that all teenagers are a bit annoying.

Changsheng and Oz are good friends and like snarking each other. Oz is more polite about it than Changsheng, so she's determined to get him to be outright rude to her.

Lisa is a very lazy person and often just sets up her burst and lets everyone else do the work. Changsheng can respect this, Tighnari and Baizhu find this annoying.

Tighnari will pay attention to all of them during fights, but only really ends up giving Fischl tips afterwards since the other two won't really care (Baizhu because he's a healer, and Lisa because she won't put more effort in.)

Fischl appreciates the archery sessions, but Tighnari is now her scariest teacher.

The Guild has noticed a sharp improvement in her fighting skills though. Especially since she's had the honor of helping Reckless Pallad out a few times.

Lisa is protective of Fischl in a hands-off way. Early on, if either Baizhu or Tighnari got too close she called their attention to herself. After a few weeks she decided she could trust them not to hurt her.

Baizhu and Tighnari have a mild sort of rivalry, and both are glad to be learning more about plants from other regions. They've both learned from each other, and both have new plants to look into that might help with certain ailments.

Fischl thinks Baizhu is alright, but not someone she'd seek out for a chat unless she was sick.

Tighnari intimidates her, but he feels trustworthy. And he's always willing to teach her new things.

Lisa gets on Tighnari's nerves, but she thinks he's alright. Definitely the sort of friend that Cyno needs.

Baizhu doesn't care much for Lisa, but she and Changsheng get along, so he thinks she can't be too bad.

All in all, they can work together, but they aren't close.

(Burgeon) Ayato, Thoma, Aether, Kokomi

Thoma and Aether are the sweetest beans that make sure the group runs smoothly

Not that Ayato or Kokomi would cause many problems, as both are pretty levelheaded.

Kokomi is no longer the sole responsible one, as Thoma has joined her as the Mom Friend, and Aether does his best but is also occasionally reckless.

Ayato is the gremlin that can and will hide his troublemaking tendencies only so you have plausible deniability.

With Thoma and Aether, this group never goes hungry.

Ayato appreciates Kokomi's strategic mind and thinks she's a valuable ally, perhaps even a friend.

Kokomi likewise appreciates Ayato's willingness to get his hands dirty and how he always puts his family above others.

Aether thinks Kokomi and Ayato can get a bit intense when playing... literally anything, but he's glad they're getting along.

Thoma notices that Kokomi has a small social battery and makes sure to organize time where he takes Ayato and Paimon off to explore while Aether stays behind to watch camp.

This works because Kokomi knows that Aether knows about her introversion, so she allows herself to take breaks and naps.

Ayato and Kokomi do occasionally get into political arguments, but Thoma and Aether both do their best to smother any fires before they start.

Ayato is the one to most frequently get injured, as setting up his burst takes a few very valuable seconds.

Thoma's shields can only block so much, and adding Aether's crystallize shields doesn't do much.

Thankfully Kokomi is more than willing to assist.

Thoma spends his evenings helping Aether brush up on his sewing while Ayato and Kokomi talk politics and play shogi.

All in all, they're a close-knit group that have a mutual respect and care for each other. Given time, they'll all be very good friends.

(Physical) Freminet, Xingqiu, Beidou, Mika

Beidou does her best to bring Mika and Freminet out of their shells. It only works half the time.

Beidou can respect Freminet's skill in battle though. He's impressive.

Xingqiu makes it his mission to befriend the two most timid people he's ever met, and they REALLY aren't having it.

Ironically, Freminet and Mika become pretty good friends because of Xingqiu's... socializing.

Beidou suddenly has to become the responsible adult, and it's a miracle no one's died doing something reckless yet.

Mika respects Beidou and Freminet's battle prowess and maritime intelligence. He also admires Xingqiu's dedication.

That doesn't mean he wants to socialize with him.

Freminet thinks Beidou is respectable and that Mika is considerate and intelligent. Both have valuable skill sets, and Mika is quiet enough that they can coexist comfortably without socializing.

Freminet dislikes Xingqiu and finds him annoying.

Mika keeps a map everywhere they go. If no one's paying attention, he'll run off to finish drawing the mountain or lake.

This is worse because he's the worst fighter of their group. He can heal, and that's the only thing keeping Beidou from tying a leash to him.

Likewise, Freminet will occasionally just,,,, dip. If he doesn't want to socialize, he can and will dive into the nearest body of water.

Beidou's the only one that can follow him and drag him back out.

But she doesn't have a scuba helmet so there's only so much she can do.

Xingqiu is annoyed that Mika and Freminet are so guarded around him, but he acknowledges that it took him months to befriend Chongyun

He isn't giving up.

He also thinks Beidou is super cool, and those two do most of the talking.

All in all, Beidou has her work cut out for her, especially since Xingqiu doesn't realize he's the reason Freminet keeps diving into the deepest bodies of water he can find lol.

They can work together decently well, due to Beidou's leadership, but she's about to punt all three of them into the sea for being idiots.

(Electro-Charged) Heizou, Beidou, Fischl, Barbara

Rip Barbara. She has patience, but not enough of it for Beidou, Heizou, AND Fischl.

Beidou and Heizou are terrible influences.

Barbara cursed for the first time because of Beidou and nearly gave Rosaria a heart attack.

Fischl finds Heizou to be pretty cool, but finds his intelligent gaze to be a bit unnerving. She's not sure she wants to know what conclusion he's come to about her.

Heizou's still trying to figure out if she's actually a reincarnator, since the Traveler proved the existence of other worlds. He's been asking pointed questions to Oz, who's having none of his shit and being purposely obtuse. Fischl is less opaque, but speaks in riddles that he isn't always certain he's solved perfectly.

Otherwise, he thinks she's pleasantly odd.

Oz is just having fun annoying him.

(He doesn't want to know what conclusion Heizou comes to. Either his life is a lie, or his Prinzessin's world is gone. Neither is ideal.)

Beidou thinks Heizou's a cool drinking buddy. She doesn't care what he thinks about her, or that he thinks he's got her all figured out. She's just herself, no need to stress over what others know.

Heizou respects Beidou. She's a hardworking and extremely intelligent woman that's willing to bend the rules to help people. He'll still arrest her if he has to, but he'll probably argue for a lighter sentence if that ever happens.

If that does ever happen, the chase itself would be payment enough for such a small favor. A woman as intelligent as she wouldn't make an investigation easy.

Barbara likes Heizou well enough, but thinks that perhaps one can be too smart for their own good. As one blessed with the power of Anemo, Barbara is sure Lord Barbatos is watching over him.

Heizou thinks Barbara's a nice girl, if a bit too nice. Her faith in Barbatos is admirable, it almost makes him want to go and pray himself, but he won't. As someone so kind, he decides to look out for her where he can. She'd be too easy to take advantage of.

He's also aware that she has at least two other guardian angels, but adding a third won't hurt. Such busy people can't be everywhere, affer all.

Beidou likes telling Fischl and Barbara stories in their downtime, and attempts to get Barbara to sing sea shanties.

She doesn't shout them at the top of her lungs, she adds melody where a rhythm is enough, but her voice is pretty so Beidou doesn't mind.

Barbara is often inspired by them to write songs, her favorite is of the girl who lost everything and rebuilt herself under Barbatos's watchful eye.

She doesn't know if Fischl's tales are true. It doesn't matter, she's still a child of Mondstadt regardless.

Beidou and Heizou occasionally clash over tactics, they're right and wrong about an equal amount of the time. More frequently, they're both right. It makes fighting alongside them an interesting experience.

Barbara is very careful to heal everyone, especially knowing that all three are under Barbatos's protection. A child of Mondstadt, a child of Anemo, and a sailor who prays for steady winds, she'll treat them equally.

Even if they weren't, she'd treat them, but an extra incentive to be kind never hurt.

None of them are especially reckless, and Heizou and Beidou's leadership wouldn't let them be anyway, so any mission they go on together is completed with efficiency.

All in all, a bit eccentric, but they all like each other and work together well.

Honorable Mentions!

Though not frequent teammates, they team up often enough to deserve a mention. Most of them are Abyss Teams!

(Inazuma Exploration) Venti, Kokomi, Fischl, Kazuha

Kokomi dislikes being on a team with these three (four?) She can't compete with their poetry and frankly doesn't want to. Oz is the only other sane one.

Fischl brings out the worst in Venti and Kazuha. Venti takes her presence as permission to rhyme every line, and Kazuha always decides to start bouncing haiku ideas off of them about half an hour in.

This team often only meets in Inazuma, and they have terrible luck.

Every. Single. One of them has gotten struck by lightning.

Kokomi is working overtime on this team, and yet everyone is usually half-dead regardless because Inazuma is extremely unfriendly.

All of them are socially exhausted when they part ways, but Kokomi is the only one that actually shows it.

Throughout all this, Venti and Kazuha are still at it with their mountain climbing rivalry. Kokomi's had to drag them both to a statue of the seven after they got struck by lightning mid climb.

Kokomi actually finds Fischl mostly pleasant when Venti and Kazuha are off doing their own thing.

(Sumeru Exploration) Venti, Tighnari, Fischl, Kazuha

Usually meet for foraging missions in Sumeru. The lack of a healer is noticeable.

Tighnari has patience, but he usually wants to bash his head in with a rock because they won't. shut. up.

Kazuha is the most tolerable of the three to him.

He leads them into withering zones on purpose sometimes.

Tighnari does let Oz sit on his shoulder or head sometimes, because even he needs the occasional break from Fischl and Venti's combined word-vomit.

(Burning) Tighnari, Bennett, Baizhu, Kazuha

Usually only team up in the abyss, but are a surprisingly good team.

Tighnari is usually the one to trigger self-burning and is thus Baizhu's least favorite patient.

Bennett and Baizhu make for a wonderful team, and Changsheng lets him pat her head.

Tighnari has a mostly good time around this team, since Baizhu and Kazuha combine to form a rather calming pair.

Bennett reminds him of Collei. No one will know if he sneaks extra bandages into the kid's pack when they part ways.

Baizhu and Tighnari frequently get into passive aggressive snark matches. It never gets heated, and Changsheng seems to find it funny.

Baizhu gives them all a top up when they part ways. If they ever need actual medicine he'll drag them back to Liyue and figure out who to bill for the medicine later.

(Melt) Kaeya, Chongyun, Bennett, Kazuha

Again, usually an Abyss team, but surprisingly good at working together.

Half the time Chongyun forgets to switch off his Noblesse pieces, which means him and Bennett are both fighting over the buff and lowering the team's overall DPS.

Kaeya also forgets to switch off his Blizzard Strayer half the time, and thus usually has an abysmal crit rate and worse EM

Kazuha has an easy enough job as the grouper, he just lets his burst off when Bennett's field is active so he swirls pyro

Bennett has the hardest job as both the only healer and the only one with energy issues. No one really dies, but they usually aren't at high health going into the next chamber.

Bennett and Kaeya usually do a coinflip to decide who gets to use the Mistsplitter.

If Beidou isn't on the second side, she'll let Chongyun fight her so he can use the Wolf's Gravestone. Kazuha is always impressed when he actually comes back with it. If he loses, or Beidou's using it, he has to use the Sac Greatsword.

They all get along rather well, with Bennett being the only energetic one. Sometimes Kaeya and Chongyun clash, but Kazuha is always quick to mediate. When all else fails, Bennett getting involved makes them both feel guilty.

When they part ways Kaeya likes spraying Chongyun with Cryo. None of them can tell if it's supposed to be helpful or mocking.

(Bloom) Venti, Xingqiu, Aether, Kokomi

Usually a Floor 11 team, and very good at protecting the monolith.

Venti's normal attacks do impressive damage, and adding Xingqiu to it only makes them more so.

Aether's blooms do incredible damage. He's nearly killed himself and Venti on multiple occasions, but Kokomi is there for a reason.

Aether has ER issues, so he sometimes sacrifices EM to go 2pc Guilded 2pc Emblem if they're stuggling to clear.

They might take a while to clear, but the Monolith has never gone below 95% in their care.

Xingqiu gets along very well with both Venti and Kokomi, and the Traveler is there as their mutual friend.

Aether is more talkative on this team than on others, owed mostly to Venti being sure to include him.

(Jadeplume Terrorshroom Killers) Keqing, Fischl, Beidou, Kazuha

Their only purpose is to kill the Dendro Chicken as quickly as possible. Are they all usually on life support by the end? Yes. But they kill the Dendro Chicken Very Fast.

Thankfully Keqing and Beidou are both capable of counteracting Fischl's influence on Kazuha.

Beidou's starting to think Venti is the bad influence, because she actually thinks Fischl's pretty cool.

Oz thinks Keqing is his favorite person, after his Prinzessin, of course.

Keqing just wants to get the job done so she can get back to being productive. She's usually the one to make off with the lower grade artifacts that the Traveler doesn't care about.

Beidou always drags Kazuha over for a meal and a chat afterwards, so they can catch up on what his travels have been like.

(Sunfire: Burning Edition) Tighnari, Jean, Bennett, Kazuha

The team pulled out when Sunfire is needed for anything.

Jean is usually on Clam, since Kazuha has VV covered.

Are two healers enough to keep Tighnari alive? The answer to that is: sometimes!

Jean thinks Bennett is Mondstadt incarnate, the picture of everything she strives to protect. And also that he's a disaster magnet that she should probably protect regardless.

Bennett thinks Jean is super cool and is honestly fanboying most of the time because she's always in her office! He actually gets to see her!

Tighnari respects Jean's levelheadedness and is impressed that she's quite a bit kinder than him despite being just as strict.

He's also gone from irritated to mildly impressed at how many disasters Bennett manages to find himself in.

Normally he'd chew out an adventurer for being stupid, but with Bennett it is a genuine coincidence.

A fascinating thing to witness, Tighnari's started making notes every time they meet outside the Abyss.

Kazuha finds them all to be pleasant company, but is curious that someone with an anemo vision could be so disciplined.

Other than his mild curiosity, he respects her, and puts in a good word for her with Beidou just in case they decide to trade.

BEAUTIFUL AS THE GLAZE LILIES AND SILK FLOWERS

This is just a one shot fluff story about our guhua boy Xingqiu! AND requests are now open^•w•^!

It was night time and also the day of the lantern rite in Liyue, you're finally get to have a little break from your duties. Standing in front of the beautiful scenery somewhere in Liyue Harbor alone, your hair being blown by the wind and you close your eyes in relaxation.

' does he...hate me now? ' You thought and you exhale sadly, your hold on the wooden railings, tightening. It's been a week now and he was still avoiding you. Remembering what happened that day, your face heating up like a red tomato.

•| FLASHBACK |•

" Xingqiu? " You asked the young boy who was clearly immersed at the book that he was reading while you pick some glaze lilies and silk flowers.

" Yes, my Liege ? " He had just finished reading the book and his attention turned towards you, a genuine smile on his lips, your eyes blinking in surprise and you turn away, cheeks flushing pink.

" U-uhm, what do you think about glazed lilies and silk flowers? "

" Glazed lilies and silk flowers...Hmmm... " he hums a finger on his chin, thinking for a moment, " I would say that they have the same features like miss Y/n, it is pleasing and fascinating to the eye. " He said with a gentle yet charming smile on his lips and you look at him, cheeks heating up even more.

' I-is he saying that I'm pretty? Calm your heart down, Y/n! Calm your heart down! His your friend! For the love of archons! ' You thought, internally screaming.

" Hmmm? What's with the sudden quietness? "

" Y-yes? Uhm, it's nothing! " You said stuttering out and just when you're about to move passed him, you accidentally trip [damn heels] and was about to fell forward, he quickly caught you in his arms.

" Careful, miss Y/n. " He says with a soft chuckle and slowly you lift your head up that was on his chest to glance up at him, your eyes blinking. Realizing the state you are both in, your cheeks heating up again as well as his.

As if the time has slowed down into a stop, his gaze that was once looking through your eyes has shifted down to your lips, he exhale shakily at the close proximity and then slowly his head inching closer to you, his eyes closing, not knowing what to do but to close your eyes tightly.

When your lips were about to touch in a kiss, Xiangling's voice calls out for the both of you.

" Xingqiu! Y/n! "

You quickly pulled yourself away from him, turning around to cover half of your face with the Glazed lilies that you have been holding for awhile now.

" Oh! There you guys are! We were looking everywhere for you two-- eh? " Xiangling who was smiling and looking at you then towards the young boue haired male in confusion. Chongyun who was confused for a moment noticing your flushed faces, the corner of his lips quirk up in a small smirk, already knowing what had occur just now.

" Are you guys okay? " She asked and you just nodded while the blue haired male just cleared his throat.

" I-i should go bring this Glazed Lily flowers back, I'll be seeing you later, A-Ling and Yunyun, y-you too Xingqiu! " You stutter out and flee the place in a hurry.

•| FLASHBACK ENDS |•

You exhale for the second time and glanced up to look at the starry night sky painted with stars, a small smile gracing your lips. It is to be expected, that the unusual actions that has been done that day was him thinking it as a mistake of the moment. Just then Xiangling arrived and hugged you from behind.

" Y/n! Happy Lantern Rite-- huh? Why are you looking so down? " She asked in a soft voice and released me while I turn to face her.

" It's nothing, I'm just tired. " You replied with a small giggle and brushed some strands of your hair that was on your face, behind your ear.

" You should take a rest sometimes you know? Don't worn yourself out too much with work. "

" I will and do not worry, I'll be fine in no time. " You glanced around at the people, holding each of their own lanterns that was lit up already. " Any second now, the sky would be illuminated with thousands of lanterns. "

Xiangling smiled and just in time for the two to appear.

" Xiangling, miss Yuna, Good evening. " Chongyun says as you and Xiangling turn around to look at the light blue haired boy, noticing a certain heir of the Guhua clan beside him, you look away quickly as he did the same.

The releasing of the lanterns started, each one of them floating up and illuminating the once dim lit sky and your gaze was upwards in fascination, a sweet smile on your lips that the Guhua boy noticed, his left hand on his back. His been staring at you for a while now with his cheeks heating up, he glanced away with a soft exhale.

The night continues with Hutao and Xinyan's mini concert and people gathering around. Just as the sound of Xinyan's guitar was heard, you got pulled by Xiangling at front so you could see better Guoba stood beside you while the two boys were just behind.

As Xinyan started singing and Hutao rapping, you and Xiangling cheered and clapped in support for your two friends. It was fun specially spending this kind of event with them. As the mini consert ends, a hand grabbed yours and you turn to see Xingqiu, his cheeks flushing a bit and it made you blink in slight surprise.

" Uhm, can I have a moment with you, miss Y/n? " He asked in a soft but nervous tone and you glanced at Xiangling who smiled and nod her head.

" Of course. " You said, squeezing his hand tight to reassure/calm him down. He was really nervous about something and you can tell that already. Years of friendship with him that you already know him that much.

" We'll leave you be then! Come find us at the restaurant! " Hutao says with a giggle and pulled Xiangling with her, Xinyan winking at me and Chongyun smiling making you smile and shook your head. Such supportive friends you have.

Making your way towards the pond near Bubu Pharmacy the silence befalls to the two of you, none saying anything to start a small conversation. You exhale softly and decided to ask him instead.

" What is it that you wish to speak with me, young master? " You asked first with your gaze ahead, hands clasp behind you. He was a bit surprised to hear you call him with that title again causing him to look at you yet you walk at the side of the pond where you can see a part of Liyue it was only the two of you now since the people were all back to their homes having a dinner with their families.

" I thought you wouldn't talk to me anymore. Are you that...disgusted for what had happened that day?"

" No!" He says his voice raised a bit and you stared at him in surprise, he flinches a bit then glanced away, you can't see his face that clearly so you couldn't tell, he stood beside you, " It's not what you think, it would never disgust me. "

" oh, really? "

" Yes, it was just... I don't know how to face miss Y/n after that..." He says in a low tone and a soft giggle escapes you, a hand on your lips. You faced him and he look at you, confused, you reach out and pat his head.

' So adorable. ' You thought, it was the first time you saw his composure breaking, a new hobby you just unlocked and the corner of your lips quirked up in a small smirk.

" I'm glad. " You said with a relieved sigh and he took your hand then placed it on his warm cheek, such a sweet and innocent gesture made you feel butterflies invading your stomach.

" What's more... I also confirmed something that day, miss Y/n. "

You look through his eyes then he smiled, that same charming smile you always wanted to see everyday.

" And, what is it? "

Without a word, he moved closer to you, his right hand on your wrist while the other was placed on your lower back and just as his face inched closer to yours without hesitation, his soft pink lips met yours in a sweet but soft kiss. Your eyes widened a bit and he leaned back to look at you, a small chuckle left his lips making you glare at him playfully and your lips in a small pout.

" You are as beautiful as the glaze lilies and silk flowers, a pleasing sight indeed. " He said it again, his thumb caressing your cheek and he took a step back completely to give you some space, " We should probably head towards kiosk restaurant. I'm sure the others are waiting, my lady. "

He offer you his arm and you hold onto it, giggling happily and with your head resting on his shoulder making him smile. The trip to kiosk restaurant was silent and enjoyable at the same time considering you have him right by your side, his presence and him kissing your forehead every now and then was enough for you. Upon arriving, your friends noticed the change and starts teasing the both of you while you couldn't help but blush and hid behind him while he chuckles.

Xingqiu guided you towards a chair just beside the traveler who smiled at you in greeting, then he occupied the empty space on your right, taking your hand on his. The rest of the night was fun and full of jokes, you getting teased by Hutao, spending time with your friends and there is also your fully devoted to chivalry and bookworm of a lover. You couldn't be any happier than you are right now.

’Party Panic’

wanderer x reader

an: this fic took a while to finish so I am sorry for the wait. I will try to upload things more frequently!

Genre: gender neutral reader, comfort, collage!au, mommy issues/narcissism (reader’s side), night terrors.

TW: swearing, narcissistic mother, night terrors. Summary: it’s the start of the exam seasons. You and your flat mates plan a party after one of the exams so you can relax, but sadly after failing that test they invite mutual friend to cheer you up. Sadly things take a turn for the worst a little before the gathering.

Wanderer is referring as “Kou”

Roommates: Hu Tao, Kokomi, Xingqiu, Kujou Sara

The end of the first semester was nearing, and so were more exams. Whilst your roommates at the campus flat passed their recent exams well, you did not do so on your history one. Actually, you all were discussing a party for after the exams so you can celebrate the end of the studying for it, but when you were the only one with a lower grade, they wanted to cheer you up and invite some mutual close friends. It was warming that they wanted to do so, everything was going well, even your professor, Mr. Zhongli, gave you the chance to retake the test because he knew you could do much better . Everything was going well, but then your phone rang just as you were going thru notes before the gathering.

“Is this why I sent you to study there? For you to fail on your tests and slag off! Do you know how much it costs us to keep you there?”

your mother angrily said. “Mom, I am not slacking off, I have good grades on history! Mr. Zhongli even said I can retake the exam because he knows I could do much more!” hint of annoyance was mixed with your desperate attempt to calm your mother down, but to no avail. “This university is full of bullshit, I knew we shouldn’t have let you go there! All people there are incompetent and your teachers just don’t want to deal with you!” was the last thing she said before hanging up. “ugGH-“ you let out a loud grunt and threw your phone on the bed next to your desk. Plopping you head down to rest in the hard surface while you rethink the events that just occurred. You were frustrated enough and didn’t need another thing to be worried about. You knew all of this wasn’t true but it still got to you, even years after “growing a thicker skin”. “Fuck everything, I am taking a nap!” you cursed out loud, before sneaking into your sheets for comfort. Sadly even they couldn’t keep you calm for too long.

“Tao, look who is at the door!” Kokomi yelled out from the kitchen. “Ughh, can’t you do so? I am in the middle of something.” Hu Tao explained, as she tried to think of her next rhyme. “I couldn’t be asking you if I wasn’t busy with something myself.” Kokomi frowned, twisting her upper body to face the back of Hu Tao’s head. After realising she wasn’t going to cooperate, Kokomi sighed and turned to Xingqiu, whom was next to her, assisting for whatever was needed. “Of course” he understood what he had to do. After opening the door he was met with not only Sara that had gone to the grocery store to get some drinks (and forgot to take her keys in the process) but and some early guests. “Look who I encountered along the way.” Sara’s lips twisted in a invisible smile whilst walking inside. Chongyun, Xiangling and Heizou were following her, each with a different kind of snack, cooked or not. “Hello everyone!” Heizou saluted with a wide smile, “Thank you for having us!” Xiangling said facing Xingqiu who held the door open for them while they were coming inside. “Haven’t seen each other in a long time!” he greeted them. “We literally hanged out the other day.” Chongyun said confused, but received no answer regarding the topic. “Please put your shoes away and choose slippers that fit you.” Sara said, not carrying the drink as she’ve put some on the living room table. “Kokomi is still preparing some of the things and I need to help her, please get comfortable.” Xingqiu excused himself as he returned to the kitchen. “Could I use the fridge? The tiramisu needs to rest some more!” Xiangling followed close behind.

Time passed and so did the other guests arrived. Gorou was the next guest, he had some homemade biscuits. “They are with cinnamon, my grandma always has a batch ready before me and my brothers come for a visit.” he explained to Xiangling who was listening and gulping not only the biscuits but and his every word. Kou was the last to arrive (how in character of him). He bought some sushi that was also made by his two hand. All he said when asked ‘why did you choose to make sushi?’ was “I don’t like sweets and wanted to make something that will at least fill me.”. ‘Rude’ was everyone thought but he actually did not intend for his words to sound so harsh. Something was bothering him, Heizou could tell but when he shot the question he got a ‘nothing..’ mumbled out breathlessly. The future detective actually already knew what was wrong tho. Whenever he was around you and Kou, he would notice the glances that both of you gave to each other. ‘How cute’ he thought, leaning back on his seat next to him. “Hey, isn’t it time for [name] to join us? We don’t want them to overwork themselves.” Heizou asked everyone, and quickly turned to the grumpy looking boy once again “Why don’t you go and get them?”. “If you don’t want to I will go” Sara suggested, holding a casserole with drinks and different beverages next to them. “No” Kou rejected, getting up from his seat “You already have to deal with the guests and I don’t mind lending a hand.”. If everyone were actually listening they’d be shocked but thankfully they were all occupied with whatever, chatting away the close-to-evening afternoon.

Entering the bedroom, he saw your sleeping form, but something wasn’t right. Your blanket was barely covering you and the room wasn’t the warmest. Kou touched your forearm and felt it cold-as-a-bone with sweat on you face. “Oi, get up. Everyone is downstairs.” He was panicking a little, slightly shaking your arm. You awoke, fear written all over your expression, bolting up and looking around you, breathing heavy. “[name], are you alright?” the boy got a hold of your shoulders, trying to get your attention. “Kou..” you shakily said wrapping your arms around him. Tears started to stream down your cheeks and wetting his blue hoodie. “[name], tell me what happened, are you okay?” he tried to get more information from you. “The shadows.. *sod*” for a while you had some night terrors, seeing some humanoid black shadow about your height. He was aware of these details because you have shared that with him. He hugged you back and started rubbing your back in an attempt to warm you up till you calmed down, rocking back and forth. “It’s okay, they aren’t real. It’s okay, here” he let go of you and stripped his hoodie over his head, revealing his black t-shirt. “Here, put your hands up.” he commanded and slipped the big cloth on you. “Thank you” you sobbed and snuggled onto him. Slowly both of you laid as he comforted you, rocking you back and forth, and eventually falling asleep.

“Hey, were did Kou go?” somebody asked. “Oh, don’t worry he-“ “He went to wake up [name].” Sara managed to interrupt Heizou before he finished his sentence. ‘Sara, you sure don’t get the hint’ he thought looking at her with a slightly chuckle. Everything have gone silent, everyone staring at her, that was also the moment she realised what was happening and at once everyone got up and started rushing to and up the stairs. “We must be silent or else they might hear us!” Xiangling whisper-yelled to everyone. “If they didn’t already get alarmed by the horse stomping that just happened” Chongyun remarked as she smiled apologetically. As if from Scooby Doo everyone alined on the crack of the door to watch for anything going on. But there was only stillness. Hu Tao wanted to see the full picture so she slowly pushed the door open and took silent steps toward the bed to have a look at your sleeping forms. For a second she just stood there, then took out her phone and the click of her camera was heard. She looked at the photo - “Neat” Tao slyly said, but before anyone could react Kou’s arm sprang up trying to snatch her phone but didn’t succeed. “Delete it.” he demanded slowly getting up from the bed as not to disturb your sleep. “Nuh uh” the girl with twin tails refused, backing off to the door still facing him. And oh look who awoke “Oh, good morning [name]. How was your sleep?” Hu Tao asked when she noticed you. You were way too sleepy to process what was happening. “It’s morning? What about the party?” you asked, rubbing your eyes. The innocent question made some people giggle. “Come on, let’s go downstairs!” Xingqiu stepped inside the room and took a hold of your left hand dragging you away. Needless to say you all had a blast and that picture didn’t get deleted.

LORE P&F X GENSHIN AU

You guys (at least some of you guys) wanted an update about the lore of an AU I've started for fun (seriously idk what I was even thinking of)

Please take into consideration that this might be subject to lots of updates heh~

So to start things off, I began on the universe with a light note with some comedic banter between Cyno and Sethos, and with the title I've given the dialogue, I'm quite sure you could guess who was who. Cyno was Perry the platypus and Sethos is Dr. Doofinsmirtz.

Okay, now for the casting for the rest of the characters. Only one problem.......there isn't any.

Most of the characters can't be 'cast' per se with nobody from Genshin having barely or any similar traits to the characters of Phineas and Ferb. I've got a few, however.

Isabella: Nilou

Baljeet: Nahida

Buford: Scaramouche

Major Monogram: Azar (don't give me hate comments yet be patient pls)

Monty (I think that's his name?): Alhaitham

Carl: Xingqiu (Don't ask (Seriously imagine this guy singing that one song Carl sang))

For the people thinking 'What about Phineas and Ferb?! They're the main characters you should've at least cast them right!'

...yeah about that there is no Phineas and Ferb. I'll explain that right now.

The actual show of Phineas and Ferb is about them along with their entire gang of friends doing crazy and insane things on every day of their summer in an attempt to make the most out of it, inventing the wildest and wackiest inventions while their sister Candace tried to 'bust' them and get them in trouble with their parents.

Well, this is Genshin, we all know it's gonna be more complicated (and possibly more depressing) than that. So, I was thinking, since I've previously confirmed the existence of the Akademia in this universe, then obviously most of the Sumeru characters attend it.

So, instead of them being a couple of kids just enjoying their summer, maybe the Sumeru gang could be doing the same thing, making all of those crazy inventions, but with a different intent. The Akademia being the Akademia, could give the kids a summer long project to invent something extraordinary!

Kaveh, Tighnari, Cyno, Faruzan, Layla, Nahida, and Scaramouche have met each other on a couple of occasions and have become accquaintances, and had decided this project was far too big to simply do by themselves and have decided to team up with each other and do the project while maybe having a little bit of fun at the same time

Nilou, Dehya and Candace occasionally join the group because of common friends (Layla and Cyno)

Remember when I made Azar Major monogram? Yeah there's a good reason for that! I said in the previous episode that Cyno worked as a secret agent for the Akademia? Well, the Akademia is disguised as a school, but has secret intentions to take over not just Sumeru with their ideals, but the world!

Cyno was recruited into the Akademia's secret agents as a part of Project Hermanubis. He was an orphan who was taken into the Akademia after being abandoned as a child and soon began displaying strange powers. The Akademia grew interested in what these powers could potentially be and made him an 'agent' in exchange of providing him food, shelter and an education and a vow of silence. When the Akademia could finally have Cyno's complete loyalty and trust, his powers would be at their disposal.

The Akademia didn't want to give Cyno the jobs of an actual agent and risk him finding out their true intentions just yet, but needed to give him a job to maintain his status as an agent, and Sethos' ridiculous plots were the perfect way to do it.

Sethos was part of a cult of geniuses called the temple of silence, who's motto was to make the world a better place and had connections to the actual Hermanubis. Hermanubis however was considered as a curse because of his powers. Hermanubis wasn't considered a god to the people in this universe.

Unbeknownst to Cyno, Sethos also had the power of Hermanubis passed down to him. When the cult found out of these powers, they exiled him from the it in fear of him becoming too powerful, as Hermanubis' powers brought chaos and destruction instead of peace and harmony like the cult had intended. Out of anger and humiliation of being exiled, Sethos attempts to blow up the secret base of the temple of silence.

The Akademia decides to send Cyno on this mission to foil Sethos' plan, so Cyno goes in, completely blind of Sethos' motivations for the said bombing and manages to succeed his first mission. Sethos, despite being foiled and humiliated yet again, he found a certain rush of adrenaline that he particularly enjoyed carrying out his evil scheme, so why did he need to stop?

So he came up with more and more schemes for Cyno to foil. The Akademia found this as the perfect distraction for Cyno and assigned Sethos as his arch-nemesis. Meanwhile, Sethos finds himself strangely enjoying Cyno's company, which in turn motivates him to come up with more and more ridiculous schemes.

Cyno slowly realizes that Sethos isn't actually that evil, and even secretly finds himself enjoying Sethos' company as well. Soon, their relationship becomes much more than just hero vs villain. They become frenemies

Cyno goes for his missions while when the others invent their stuff and are quite oblivious, even believing Cyno's incredibly weak excuses. Well, everyone except for Tighnari, who was Cyno's best friend. He didn't know anything about Cyno's past and his powers and his current affiliation with the akademia.

Alhaitham is the prodigy of Azar, but Alhaitham doesn't admire him and has his suspicions, but isn't currently aware of the Akademia's misdeeds. Xingqiu is Alhaitham's intern and helps him with his stuff and really looks up to him, but would also like to get recognition as the intern.

The Ghost at the Funeral Parlor...

Genshin Impact fanfic rewrite

❄️Chong Yun and Zhongli🌠

Summary :

Having sense a presence at the Wang Sheng funeral parlour, Chong Yun was determined to excorise the the spirit residing there. Yet what he didn't expect, was facing something dark and sinster.

"... Errrr... Maybe you want to speak with Director Hutao?"

The receptionist wore an awkward expression. Standing by the doorway, Chong Yun, the young exorcist held a mildly confused expression when the receptionist mentions Hutao.

Seeing it was a situtation where he had embarrassed himself in someway, Chong Yun quickly spoke up," oh no, no! I am not here for funerary business," he swayed bashfully, " it's just... I received intel about spirits haunting within this area."

The receptionist gave a skeptical nod.

"And, you are...?", She asked.

The reception area was once again shrouded with an awkward silence. Chong Yun sighed. He began to wonder if this situation was just like the "Test of Courage" at Wu huang Hill, or that, the intel that Xingqiu gave him was a nothing, but a joke.

Despite so, his gut instinct was twisting and aching for him to continue on the investigation. His sixth sense, an inheritance that is so proudly pass down among generations, gave him a stubborn determination to investigate this place. The feeling was firing up his spirit, but he told himself to calm down.

"Oh, I am an exorcist, Madame, so rest assure," he replied. Hoping the woman would consider letting him through.

"I am sorry but, if you want to speak with Director Hutao, you need to make an appointment, also, please stop saying things that could scare the customers away."

"but…," Chong Yun protested, he felt his yang energy was simmering, "but there's a presence here! I can feel it. I promise it's not going to take too long. Once I exorcise the-"

"I am sorry. Look, if you don't leave, we might have to call the Milileth to escort you." the woman explained. She was getting a little impatient.

"But...but..."

"Please, you are going to scare our clients away with all the ghost talk," the receptionist said, and tried to usher Chong Yun out of the Funeral parlor.

The commotion drew attention to the reception, a sudden deep voice spoke behind the counter.

"Is there a problem here?"

Both Chong Yun and the receptionist turned their head, and saw Zhongli standing with his arms folded.

"Mister Zhongli!" the receptionist greeted, and said, "this young man kept on insisting that there is a ghost or evil spirit in the parlor. I tried escort him away but-"

"A ghost you say...?" Zhongli interrupted and was in deep thought. He looked at Chong Yun, raising a brow he asked, "And, you are...?"

"I am an exorcist. I have gathered intel that your funeral parlour has sightings of ghost, abnormal occurrences , and many more. If I may, I can ease these place, after that I will be on my way. That's all I ask." Chong Yun piped up. He hoped his speech was sincere enough for Zhongli to consider the proposal.

The young lad had heard about Zhongli before, but it was just a name that was brought up by a few. All he knew about the man in front of him was, he likes talking about rocks (minerals) and some times, treat the Traveller and her companion at the nearby Kisok.

"Hmmm…you are an interesting young man. I can sense that you are no ordinary guest. Your energy seems to be rather...powerful," Zhongli said.

For this older gentlemen to take notice of his energy, Chong Yun took note to pay more attention about the Consultant. Certainly, Chong Yun can feel Zhong Li isn't a simple man as he seems.

His knowledge about almost everything in Liyue is something to be awed at. How can a simple man gained so much knowledge than an expert who would spend years of their lifetime studying one field.

However, the young exorcist knows better to make rather rude judgements, especially about somebody such as Zhongli.

"Now if you would please leave?" the receptionist said, gesturing towards the huge double doors.

"Actually...", Zhongli cutted her off, "I think we do have something for the exorcist."

The receptionists had a huge look of surprise, she looked at Zhongli, "Mister Zhongli, you don't mean..."

"This is a funeral parlour after all. Don't take it to heart about it. It would be nice to have someone around to make sure things don't get around once in a while. Quite like a pest exterminator, I suppose.” Zhongli said.

The woman, gave a mixed look, but her emotions soon calmed and finally gave a nod." I guess, you are right, Mister Zhongli. I shall leave this matter to you then," she gave a small bow and exited the parlour for some fresh air.

"Now," Zhongli spoke with a rather brighter tone, "may I know of your name, and perhaps a bit of your back ground?"

Chong Yun stood up straight, facing the much taller man he gave a greeting bow and said, "The name's Chong Yun. My family have been protecting Liyue from evil spirits and demons for generations, so I do know a fair share of demon expelling knowledge... Also, I don't charge exterminating fees."

Zhongli raised a brow at the latter sentence. He gave a small hum and nodded. It was interesting indeed, and rare to know there are still people in Liyue who doesn’t talk about Mora.

"Very well, please come this way, " the consultant offered.

Chong Yun eagerly followed as they both pass by each funeral hall. Some were decorated, waiting for the client to arrive. Some were empty and just like the one that Zhongli escorted Chong Yun, the Funeral hall was lay bare with. However, it smelled.

It doesn't smell unpleasant, but rather, a strong presence of insence lingered in the hall. As Chong Yun would have guess, the hall has been recently used to hail a funeral.

Zhongli stood by the doorway and, "This is the funeral hall that seems to be the place you wish to inspect."

Chong Yun walked into the hall. His sixth senses were alert, as he felt a tingling sensation tickling down his arm. Looking around, he has yet to see the ghost's presences. He began to wonder if his Yang energy had already ward it off. However, he still felt the lingering presence of it.

The young exorcist looked around, he turned to doorway. That’s when he saw a apparition.

"...Spirit Blade!" Chong Yun, with the power of Cryo, summoned his spirit blades to anchor down the spirit that suddenly appeared in the door way. However it seems by the split second, the ghostly being escaped just in time. It flew towards Chong Yun, it's arms reached out and pushed him down on the floor before vanishing through thin air. Its shilled scream rang though Chong Yun’s ears.

Zhongli witnessed everything, and went towards the young exorcist to help. The pain of Chong Yun's backside throbbed as he slowly got up with Zhongli's aid.

Chong Yun could never believe a spirit could actually, physically, push him down to the ground, hard. He place a hand on his chest, the part where the spirit had touched him, it burns.

"Young exorcist, are you alright?" Zhongli asked.

However, Chong Yun hissed at the burn on his chest and replied, "I... think that... it just burned me...this is bad..." he can feel his Yang energy surging up from heat of the burn. His head began to spin and soon passed out.

The dreadful sound of rocks gnawing at each other, annoyed him to no end. Slowly, Chong Yun opened his eyes. Blinking, he tried to register where he was. A sudden deep voice spoke by his said, "ah, young exorcist, you’re awake."

Chong Yun turned his head, and saw Zhongli sitting on the visitor seat while having a cup of tea. Quickly, the youth sprang up, he finally remember what had happened, and said, "I apologise!" and bowed his head. Apologising for his failure, to capture the spirit.

Zhongli only chuckle and said, "not to worry, young exorcist, I should be the one to apologise. I have never thought the spirit would have such power to knock you out."

Chong Yun sighed, he felt a little disappointed by the incident.

He looked down and saw that there were burns on his chest. There were two faint hand prints on his chest, and the recollection flashed into his mind again. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

QiQi entered, and in her monotone voice she said, "QiQi has medicine... For the burns..."

"Ah, QiQi, thank you for your hard work," Zhongli said as the little girl place the tray of medicine on the bed and climbed her way up. She had crushed the herbs and mint into paste and applied them on Chong Yun's chest before stuffing in the dried Mist Flower petals. She then wrapped gaze around Chong Yun's chest and continued, "keep this on for 24 hours and don't get it wet."

"24 hours?! Does it take that long to heal a burn?" Chong Yun exclaimed.

"These are no ordinary burns, you must understand, young exorcist," Zhongli placed his cup down as QiQi climbed back down and exited the room.

Zhongli stood up and said, "this spirit is no ordinary ghost. If it were to be an ordinary ghost that refuse to move on, then the Wang Sheng Funaral parlour would have a scandal on their hands. And, that child- I mean Director Hutao, would have used all that is necessary to help the lost soul find its way to the next life... Though, unfortunately she's currently away for other matters..." Zhongli gave an unsatisfied grumbled at the last sentence.

"Our next best option was to get an exorcist for help. Although, I never how this one is able to be this powerful."

"Do you know what that spirit is?" Chong Yun asked. He looked at the Funeral consultant. There was something in Zhongli's eyes that told Chong Yun, the man sitting before him is much more informed than anyone would imagine. In fact, too informed.

Zhongli gave it a good thought before facing the young exorcist, and said, "Though, I have a general idea what that spirit is, I am no better to deal with it than an exorcist such as yourself. My guess could only be that the spirit was cursed, or it habours too much wraith, and it simply could not move on."

Analysing what Zhongli had said, the young exorcist recalled the notes and books he had study in the past. He was sure that the old masters and his family had taught him about those spirits before.

Though, he lacks the experience, he wanted to give it a go. It would be too shameful to call himself an exorcist and to turn down a case. If anything, unlike the vigilant Yashka, whose methods were to use brutal force to eleveate the evil, Chong Yun knew his duty, and his family's duty, is to eleveate the evil through the most humanitarian way. Both swift and merciful, to purge the darkest core, purifying the evil and suffering so balance can be retained.

Zhongli waited for Chong Yun's answer. He watched as the yound lad went to grab his shirt and put it on. From his satchel, Chong Yun took out his icicle. He felt his determination was bubbling and he need to surpress his passion.

"Mister Zhongli, may I come back to the parlour tomorrow?"

This story has been on my mind since the beginning of time. I was inspired by my co-opt gameplay with my sister. Whenever we beat the geo hypostasis, I would use Chong Yun, and she uses Zhongli.

hello aph!!

i am backkkk... i didnt have wi-fi for a bit which meant this is the first time i've been on tumblr in a while, but like always i return!

something i have been doing a lot is writing! i set a goal for myself, 200 words a day. i know that's not a lot, but by getting just that much down i can feel accomplished, and often write much more! it feels good to be past my writer's block (for the time-being at least)

I SAW YOUR HSR OC as well! lian is so cool!! i love their design so muchhhh

anyway anyway that's off topic- i have been playing hsr and working my way to completing the luofu quest line and i am so Very Normal about these characters. yanqing in particular- he is my son, my child, i would die for this silly little sword guy /lh. he'd get along with xingqiu for sure, they'd bond over both being tiny little gremlins of chaos.

i love dan heng too! i managed to get dragon dan heng (or whatever he's called) and his attacks are just so pretty??? he is so cool???

aaahh its also cool to see you've opened your requests for hsr! i might just have to request some older sister!asta later >:D (she is still one of my favorites i love her so much.)

“Xingqiu, I’m home!”

After opening the door and taking off her shoes, she was met with the sight of her younger brother staring at her from the living room. Immediately there was an uneasiness in the air.

She shook her head and let out a soft sigh. Was this going to be an intervention? She hoped not. Though, to be honest she couldn’t really blame him for being upset. Especially if it was for what she thought it was.

She soon found herself a spot on the couch to sit on, keeping eye contact with the other out of pure respect.

“So.. what’s the matter?”

The greenette turned his head to the side in a frustrated manner, breaking the eye contact they’d once been holding. He crossed his arms, eyes narrowing as he stared at the wall beside him.

“How come you haven’t been home lately? I know we’re out on a mission but you’re still supposed to take care of me!” He frowned, “Have you been forgetting about me?”

He bit his lip, and before Mingxia could begin speaking he held up his hand to stop her.

“Diana and I saw you hanging out with some guy instead of practicing your duties like you said you would be that day! It’s not fair! You get on me for slacking off but you do the same thing!”

The oni gave her full attention as he spoke, a frown slowly forming on her lips the further he went on and on. Once he had finally finished she sighed, hands on her lap, back straightened out. It’s best to give your full attention to people when they speak to you, especially with body language.

“Xingqiu, please listen very closely.” She paused, “That boy was a demon in disguise. But.. he wasn't a threatening one who was in need of exercising. I put a seal on his power and gave him limits, I was finding him a h-“

“Why would you spare a demon?! They’re evil!..”

“Not all of them are! They can’t control their race Xingqi-!”

“They’re all born from the same flames of evil! You can’t trust demons! Why would you do that?!”

“..I was a demon.”

His hands fell to his sides upon hearing the other’s words. His own older sister.. a demon? No.. she couldn’t be! He.. he wasn’t a demon. How could she be one?

Would Lady Nephele really make such an error? Putting the divine being into a demon?

“No!.. No I d-dont.. I dont believe it! I won’t believe it!”

“Xingqiu-“

“Just go away!”

“O-Okay..”

And with this, she soon faded away into the shadows.

Sitting at the bus stop, he felt a sick feeling wash over him. Was he too harsh?.. Did he make her feel bad?.. Gosh, his head hurt. But the more quiet he wished for it to be, the more thoughts and questions swarmed it.

He set his hand on the diamond-cut bench he was sat upon, fingers dangling through the holes as he stared into space.

“I.. maybe I.. should apologize..”

A slim figure slipped out from the shadows from behind the bus stop. No.4, out and about to spread pure chaos. And it seemed this was a perfect place to start.

“No.7? You look down, is something on your mind?” Ciel inquired whilst slipping onto the bench by his side, “Sorry, did I scare you?”

“Wha-!”

*Xingqiu jumped a bit at the sudden appearence of the other Oni, eyes widening ever so slightly. Soon though he calmed down realizing just who it was.*

“H-Hi Mr. Ciel!.. uhm.. no it’s fine, I-I wasnt scaareeddd!.. Haha..” He sheepishly laughed, “Well.. okay maybe I was. Only a lil though.”

He sighed, gaze going from Ciel back to the ground.

“I dunno.. I got in a fight with my older sis.. I think I made her sad..”

“No need to be so formal! We’re all friends here, aren’t we?” *He hummed,* “Well, that’s alright. Mingxia oughta’ teach you the basics on aura detection here soon though.”

He rested his hand on his knee, chin on his hand as he watched the younger boy. He quirked a brow to the other’s comment on this.. fight, with his sister.

This could be the exact entrance he was looking for.

“A fight, huh?” He held out a hand, “How about this? We can buy her some flowers and a card to apologize, and give it to her when she gets home from wherever she is.”

And like that, everything was beginning to fall into place like dominoes.

As she lay staring at the ceiling, she felt her hands clamp up into fists. Her brows furrowed, legs crossed over one another. Maybe it was her own fault- that she was in this situation.

That instead of being a human choice, she was a salvaged demon. Yet at the same time, most oni were. Only a select few were human picks.

Still, maybe she could have broken it to him better. Maybe she should have told him when he was older.. maybe she just reacted too quickly during the heat of the moment. Spilled something she shouldn't have.

The light reflecting back in her eyes slowly disappeared as she closed them, slipping into a sorrowful slumber in the moment. When the world was the most quiet, a good nap could never hurt anyone.

Upon slowly opening the door to their small apartment he noticed the sleeping figure of his sister on the couch. She was home early.. was she waiting for him?

That pit in his stomach from before seemed to slowly spread to his chest, though after being shot a reassuring look from Ciel he nodded his head.

In one hand the oni held a bouquet, the other was shoved in his pocket. He approached his sister quietly, but tensed up a little once he noticed her stirring. Of course she’d be awoken, she was always good at sensing other’s presences.

“Uhm.. Mingxia?”

Mingxia shot up almost instantly hearing her name, eyes wide. Seeing as it was only Xingqiu and Ciel though, she calmed down rather quickly. Her gaze fixed solely on her brother.

“..Yes, brother?” She rubbed at her eyes with the knuckle of her hand, “Sorry.. I fell asleep waiting.”

“You were waiting for me?”

He bit his lip regretfully, though shook off the feeling. Now was his time to make up for the stupid argument they had! Not feel bad over even more.

“Mingxia, I’m.. really sorry. I got you your favorites..” He handed her the bouquet of mountain lilies, “I realize I was really mean.. and I talked to Diana.. she said it’s normal for Oni and I- I’m sorry..”

He frowned, looking away.

What a touching sentiment. As she took the flowers she couldn’t help but smile at the small boy. She set the bouquet aside and leaned forward to bring up a hand to his head.

“Please don’t fret. I understand completely. In times like these many things can sway your opinions on certain groups, especially with harmful retorect around them. You’re right, lots of demons are evil, but there is a small majority which can be trusted given the right boundaries.”

“I know.. I’m sorry.”

He felt embarrassment rise to his cheeks, the heat causing tears to form. Without hesitation he leaned forward and hugged onto his older sister, sniffling as he did so.

“I’m sorry!.. I-I’m so sorry!..”

The sudden affection surprised her a little, but she soon returned the hug with her own warm embrace. She ran her fingers through his hair, eyes shutting.

“There there.. it’s all going to be alright.” Her tone was much softer than before, “Let it all out.”

What a touching reunion. Though, it was quickly becoming a bore to him. What drabble. Some demons better than others? To hell with that. At the end of the day, almost everyone in this muddy universe was just in his way. Pests which needed to be exposed of. Well.. aside from his beautiful Maeve.

He slipped into the shadows and back out behind Mingxia. What fools. Sitting there, sobbing, cooing, hugging. It was almost pitiful. But.. not really.

Reaching out a hand his eyes narrowed. No, he couldn’t hesitate with this. In one fell swoop he had pierced through the chest of the elder of the two siblings. Pulling his hand back he had acquired a new, shining amethyst gem.

The look of panic in both their eyes was intoxicating. All he could do was grin as he watched No.1’s body hit the floor, the gem slowly phasing into his palm

“MINGXIA!”

Xingqiu brought up a hand to cover his mouth in utter fucking terror. His eyes widened, pupils darting from the seemingly hazy Ciel and the unconscious Mingxia. Watching her body fall he moved without thinking, catching it right before it hit the floor.

His hands shook, the blood that dripped from her chest onto them sending chills through his veins.

“MINGXIA WAKE UP! SISTER!” He cried, “M-Mingixa.. Mingxia..”

His terror quickly turned to sorrow and fight or flight- and subconsciously, his body chose flight. Moving only on adrenaline he picked up the body of his sister and quickly ran out those damn apartment doors. To where? He.. he wasn’t sure. Maybe No.2 could help! Or uh.. No.3? He wasn't sure.. god it all hurt.

Why would Ciel do that?.. Why would he hurt Mingxia? Weren’t they all friends? So.. why?!

And that’s when it hit him. That boy he saw her with. The demon. He could ask for his help. He’d gather everyone he could to help her. But for now, just one person would do. His thoughts were so scattered it felt as though he’d explode.

Running through the dimmed streets of Shinjuku was one of the most distressed boys in town. In his arms the body of a beautiful yet soulless woman. His elder sister, Mingxia Fei.

No matter what she always protected him. She always took care of him. She was always on his side. She tried her best for him..

Did he take that for granted? Did he fall into such a pool of selfishness to the point where he’d forgotten all she’d done for him?

The emerald stone engraved in his hand flickered with light as he ran, tears forming at the edges of his eyes. They clouded his vision, blurring the beaming street lights from view. His lungs ached, they felt so tight and dampened.

Even so his throat remained hoarse and dry. But that couldn’t stop him now. He had to get help. Someone- something- anyone! Just.. some sort of sign they’d be okay. Some sort of sign she’d be okay.

The tears from before dared to spill now, dripping from his cheeks to his chin as he ran.

He could no longer make out anything ahead of him but blurry lights and shadows. He wailed. Long, strained sobs escaped his throat.

He was in sheer agony.

In a small bakery was a girl dressed in an oversized red hoodie and skirt, and as she walked out with a chocolate croissant in hand she would soon find said treat on the floor.

The brunette blinked, confusion taking over. She looked from the baked good to what had caused it. A little boy.. or.. girl? A.. person- sobbing. In his arms..

An unconscious woman?!..

“Hey!.. What’s wrong bud? Are you okay?” She knelt down to his level, “Talk to me bud, c’mon, let’s get you taken care of..”

Hot/Cute things they do [Genshin Impact Male Characters] Headcanons

Characters: Aether, Albedo, Alahaitham, Ayato, Bennett, Chongyun, Dainsleif, Diluc, Gorou, Heizou, Itto, Kaeya, Kazuha, Razor, Scaramouche, Tartaglia, Thoma, Tighnari, Venti, Xiao, Xingqiu, Zhongli, gn!reader

Note: Long time no post!! I got some of my energy back but phew it’s such a struggle with all the hormones haha. I get energy on and off, it’s literally like a switch sometimes. One second I feel like doing something and the next it’s like all I wanna do is stay in bed.

Warnings: a bit of crack elements in some, Not proofread, if there’s any pronoun slips please tell me :) suggestive elements in some, added our new Sumeru friends that I’m comfortable writing for into the long list of lovable male characters. I’m loving Sumeru so far, specially the music.

Personal Favourites: Diluc, Alhaitham, Tighnari

Aether

Putting his hand out for you to hold. All the time.

His hand is always there for you no matter where you go.

Just a stroll? He offers it to you with a pleasant smile. “Let’s go,”

When there’s a big step or just a big gap between stones or steps while the two of you are out adventuring, he’ll have it stretched out towards you.

“Hold my hand, I don’t want you to fall,”

Sometimes will subconsciously and automatically grab your hand when he thinks you need it.

“Watch out for that puddle,”

Even in quiet moments when the two of you are sat around the campfire, he loves to have his hand atop yours, swirling patterns atop it, making circles, tracing your knuckles.

It’s a kind of reassurance for him, and you always feel like you can rely on him and have him to hold on to.

When he’s talking to someone in town, or wherever the two of you may be and he realizes that he doesn’t have your hand in his, his hand will linger, stretching out even while he’s talking, hovering towards your general direction until you notice and take hold of it.

It might seem clingy, but really he just likes feeling how perfectly the two of you fit together.

Albedo

Being a good brother

Despite his job, he’s actually good with kids. We all know it’s because he’s had experience with taking care of Klee from time to time.

It hits you harder when you watch from afar, how he kneels down to get to Klee’s eye level, takes out a hanky and wipes off some soot from the little girl’s cheek. “If you’re not careful you’ll get your whole dress and Dodoco dirty, Klee. Would you want that?”

He has a way to convince the little girl without being harsh nor threatening, just stating facts as he always does and looks out for her diligently.

When the little girl is tired and all rubby-eyes after a long day of running around Albedo picks her up easily in his arms and walks back to Mondstadt with the little bundle of red comfortably resting on his shoulder. “Did you have fun today, Klee?” he would whisper.

When Klee is upset, he knows just what to say to her. “I understand you’re upset, Klee. That’s alright. Would you like to visit your favourite store later, after you’ve calmed down?”

And finally when little Klee wonders out loud where you are, Albedo flashes the small girl a small secret smile. “Y/N? They’ll be here soon. They might even have a treat for you,”

It occurs to you that the scene is very domestic. Like having your own child with Albedo.

Alhaitham

Wiping his sweat off with his shirt after a workout/training

Alhaitham is an excellent fighter, it’s the result of regular training, sparring and workouts.

Where he spars is up to his mood. The adventurer’s guild training grounds or out in the forest, either way he gives it his 100% as if he’s really face to face with an enemy.

By the end of it he’s sweaty and slightly panting, his sword stuck on the ground and his hand balancing on the hilt.

You sometimes walk in when he’s in the middle of it and his fluid movements are quite mesmerizing, not to mention his tight fit outfit gives you a clear view of how his arms flex.

Sometimes you walk in when he’s just done, when he pulls his shirt up, giving you a view of his chiseled muscles as he wipes the sweat on his forehead and face.

You’re there to hand him some water and he has no idea at all of the show he’s giving. He smiles the slightest bit, hand grabbing the bottle of water “Thank you, love,”

He refrains from kissing you because he knows he’s sweaty, but would you mind at all really?

Even the way he opens the bottle of water, tips his head back, droplets of sweat beading his forehead glistening, and downs it in one go is something to marvel at.

Ayato

Taking his coat off to give it to you

Under the white elegant coat he wears is a pale blue yukata that matches the colour of his hair.

It first happened while the two of you were enjoying the porch of the Kamisato Estate. There’s an elegant tea set between the two of you, when a strong breeze brushes past.

It’s nothing to him, he’s used to the elements, but at the corner of his eye he sees you bristle a little. He moves the tea set over and sits next to you, sliding his coat off and placing it around your shoulders instead.

You were a little startled, but when you look up at him he doesn’t say anything but wears a handsome smile on his face.

He sits next to you from then on and its become a habit of his.

It’s almost automatic now. There was once where he was out on business in winter and a strong wind grazes by, he’s talking to one of the commissioners and he takes his coat off, turning towards you to warm you up, only to realize that you weren’t with him today.

He recovers quite quickly, a split second of surprise and he manages to chuckle at himself at the silly gesture, plays it off by draping his coat on his arm and continuing with his business.

He comes home that night with his coat still off, and knows that when he comes back you’ll probably only be in a yukata (He’s figured out that you sometimes dress less in winter, just to get his coat, but he doesn’t say anything about it)

“There you are, dove. It’s cold today, you should consider wearing more on nights like these,” while wrapping his coat around your shoulders.

but you never do and he doesn’t really complain. His coat smells just like him. In truth he likes seeing you in it too.

Bennett

When he shows his reliable side + his signature thumbs up with bright smile

Despite his bad luck following him around he has his victorious moments.

It’s those rare moments of his confidence boosting that makes you look at him all starry eyed and in awe.

“I got your back Y/N!” The first time he says it is when you fail to dodge an incoming attack from a mitachurl, but Bennett slides in just in time with his pyro flamed sword, burst of flames causing the mitachurl to recoil.

You could only see his back at that moment, and you don’t ever remember seeing him as so strong and reliable.

He turns back to you with a flash of bright smile and a thumbs up, as if he hadn’t done anything special at all and urges the two of you to keep adventuring. “That’s taken care of, let’s keep going!”

Chongyun

kicks ass with his claymore but is still shy about it

Is actually a good fighter, but always downplays himself saying that there’s much he needs to learn and train for before becoming good enough.

But the way he carries his claymore and slays with it, you know that he already packs a punch and is just too modest.

He’s also very unassuming, he looks like he’s harmless but the first time you see him handle his weapon, burst of cryo claymores impaled into the ground and leaving the ground frozen...and he does it so effortlessly too, you were a little surprised.

He brushes it off too easily, doesn’t think he did anything noteworthy so when you compliment him on his fighting skills there’s a tint of red on his cheeks. “Huh? Oh, that? I-It’s nothing... I’ve been practicing it for a long time...”

but he fights off monsters effortlessly, sometimes you don’t even need to lift a finger, or maybe that’s just his way of protecting you and keeping you safe?

Dainsleif

Picks your hand up and places it on his cheek + kissing your hand with intense eye contact

When he meets up with you his standard greeting is to place a kiss at the back of your hand, all the while keeping eye contact with you. His gaze is almost stern, but it’s also melting and delves deep into your soul. He doesn’t say anything to greet you, aside from kissing your hand, but he stays close to your side throughout the day you spend together.

By the end of it, when the moon is high up in the sky and the two of you have to part ways, it always happens that you’re in a rather secluded and more private part of the forest or atop a hill where no one can see the two of you.

Perhaps he makes it like that so he can be a little selfish and have a bit more of you, though he only wishes for a quick kiss and then, as always, he takes your hand, lays it on his cheek, sighs and closes his eyes. As if he doesn’t want to be apart and it breaks him to see you go.

“...Your warmth...brings me a different kind of peace. One that I cannot find elsewhere...”

and then, just like his hello, he kisses the back of your hand goodbye, leveling his gaze on you, capturing your eyes while you get lost in his “Until next time, Y/N,”

Diluc

Rolling his sleeves up and tying his hair

It’s not like you’ve never seen his arms before, he goes to sleep in a shirt, so his arms are exposed to you all night long.

But there’s something different about it as he gets ready early in the morning. Dressed in his usual attire but with his sleeves pushed up to his elbows because it’s easier to lift his arms up to tie his hair that way.

Because both his hands are occupied trying to gather up his long red hair he keeps the hair band in his mouth. The subtle movements of his arm and muscles as he smooths out, gathers his hair, bunches it up doesn’t escape your eyes.

Finally he takes the hair band from his mouth and wounds it around his hair. Most days he wears it in its usual state, but its a treat for your eyes when he decides to put it up into a ponytail, there’s something just extra handsome about it.

Then, he pulls his sleeve down and is ready to go but not before giving you a kiss on the forehead. “I’ll be back soon, Y/N.”

You’d never get tired of his morning routine, and he doesn’t even realize that you watch him do his before starting yours.

Gorou

Carrying/Lifting heavy things

He’s smaller in stature but you’re always reminded that he’s a capable general when he carries boxes and crates without any trouble.

But it’s a lot nicer when he carries seemingly heavy things for you, or at least something that he sees as “too heavy” he knows you can handle it but for some reason he always insists to carry “heavy” things for you.

“Do you need help with that? I’ll take it off your hands,” when you’ve just gotten done shopping for vegetables and fruits or any type of grocery.

When heavy lifting is involved he doesn’t let you do it, or at least gives you the easy things to do. “I can get this, you can have that one over there,” points at a small box while he swiftly takes care of the bulkier heavier ones.

When you tell him you’re really thankful for his help and when you compliment him on being strong he gets a little flustered. “Oh, ahaha, you think so? It’s no big deal, we do this all the time in camp,”

Heizou

The little smirk he does

The cunning detective is sharp, witty and has a way with words. He knows how to wind people up, including you. He’s a bit of a flirt but sometimes he doesn’t even do it on purpose and it still riles you up.

One of the ways he does this is when he assertively turns your head towards him with his hand. He brushes the side of your mouth with his thumb and gives you that playful smirk. “Bit of a messy eater, aren’t we?”

Or when he confidently states that he can take care of any mystery, crossing his arms and shooting a smug-ish smirk “There’s no such thing as a mystery to me,”

But mostly when he snakes an arm around your waist while walking through town with you. This one, he does on purpose. The first time he did it, he says “Just don’t want you getting lost lovely,” until it became a habit and he doesn’t need an excuse anymore, just a grin and a quick squeeze to your waist.

Itto

Flexing his muscles

Itto never does this on purpose. He dubs himself as a great fighter but never really takes into account the fact that he’s bulky and is openly showing his toned midriff.

It was hard to take your eyes off his “outfit” the first time you started hanging out with him.

He’s rather silly, and so whenever he’s hyped up he gets into victory poses that twists his pecs just the right ways. Example, when he wins any onikabuto fight, he pumps his hand up a certain way and it draws your eyes towards him.

Another thing he subconsciously does is to puff his chest out. He’s constantly boasting about something, maybe winning a ramen contest, or winning snacks from kids. “Pfft yeah! They were no match for me!” He tells the story proudly, but so does his chest and muscles.

When he shows of his strength, he’s really only showing off his strength, not his muscles. So whenever he offers you a piggy back ride--basically a free pass for you to wrap your arms around his strong shoulders and to feel his chiseled back--he does it enthusiastically. “Hey Y/N! Betcha I can get you to Chinjuu Forest in less than a minute! Come on, hop on!”

It’s just fun for him, but he’s also happy he can basically lug you around anywhere.

Kaeya

Whispering in your ear

Does it matter what he’s saying? Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

But his husky greeting of “Hello there snowflake,” versus his tempting and commanding whisper of “Give me a kiss,” both send shivers down your spine.

He does it quite often, he knows what effect it has on you and probably does it to tease you.

From the random strolls around Mondstadt, his hand around you and resting on your hip, him dipping in a little closer to say “You look wonderful today,” breath hot at the shell of your ear.

All the way to the tavern nights where he sits next to you and he’s nearly glued to your side, tempting you with a tickle of his voice in your ear, hand on one of your knees “Spend the night with me?”

And finally even as you cuddle in bed into the night, his arms around your back and you tethered in his arms, buried in his chest. He brushes strands of hair away from your ear to lean in and whisper “Stay with me forever Y/N,”

Kazuha

“Secretly” looking at you with a gentle gaze

He likes to think he’s discreet about it but every one of Beidou’s crew has caught him looking at you all dreamy eyed.

You’ve caught him a few times too, and at first you thought he was just spacing out, but then you figured out--and you were somewhat embarrassed as well--that he was just looking at you in awe.

It somewhat hits differently when you realize that someone is looking at you that way. Like you can’t believe the adoration in his eyes is for you, as if a treasure that was hidden away for centuries.

“Hm?” he said when you first caught him spacing out on you. “Oh, just...admiring the delightful view,” You thought he really was talking about the view at first.

But then he started to do it more often, and you would catch him not hiding it at all. You’d turn to him to ask him something, and he would have his eyes relaxed, glazed over with love. His fingers would graze your cheek gently and he would sigh softly with a smile.

You’d ask him what’s wrong and he would say “Nothing’s wrong at all. Everything’s absolutely perfect, my love,”

He’d end up kissing you softly on the lips, before snapping out of it and letting you ask him about your original query.

Razor

Wraps your arms around him

Because he communicates more with his actions than words, if he wants something but doesn’t quite know how to say it he usually just acts on it.

Tugging your sleeve when he wants something, walking in front of you when he senses danger, wraps himself around you when he’s protective...Those are some of the things he does but doesn’t say much about. You had just picked up on those habits of his over the years.

Recently he had become more assertive, and he now stands face to face with you and takes both of your arms just to wrap it around himself. He used to blush over it, now it’s just a signal that he wants to be hugged.

A similar thing would be him resting his head on your shoulder and grabbing your hand to lay it atop his head. He loves it when you pat his head or comb your hands through his hair.

Scaramouche

Running his fingers through his hair when annoyed

The signature scowl and snarl is something that usually scares off people but to you who knows him more than just surface level, you strangely have grown accustomed to it.

His anger is rarely directed at you anyway. Most times it’s directed at something that’s happened to you.

“What happened to your knee? What do you mean you tripped and fell? Who was escorting you?!” and you being the neutral person you are, don’t really want anyone to get in trouble so you refuse to answer, just telling him it was an accident.

And it’s times like these where he does that thing where he cards through his hair with his hand in frustration, tsking and glaring at you while he does it. “I swear if it happens again...”

Sometimes he does it REALLY out of anger, but not towards you. Rather his subordinates get the brunt of it.

“Some of you are beyond stupid,” In extreme exasperation, you watch as he tips his head back a little and presses his fingers on his head, slowly pushing his fingers through his hair as if giving himself a head massage, all the while with an annoyed expression on his face.

Then he explodes with fury on his subordinate. After he’s calmed down, he’ll turn to you and notice the faintest of smiles on your face. “...What’s so funny?” he’d think that his outburst would have scared you instead.

Tartaglia

Pulling his gloves on/off with his teeth

You have no idea why he does it. Probably something that he got used to, but sometimes he does it cause he says it’s just easier that way, like when his hands are wet, apparently.

You’ve seen him do it a couple of times, the first time was when he got drenched in the rain and he was taking his gloves off. He comes strolling into the house still dripping wet and so he stayed by the front door and starts discarding his wet clothes, starting from his gloves.

He lifts his hand up to his mouth, his teeth hook onto the tip of his finger, dragging the black leather off as his hand pull away.

Sometimes when he’s busy putting ON his gloves with both hands he keeps the other glove in between his teeth. You warn him it’s unhygienic but you still like watching him do that though.

Something about the way he does it draws your attention to his long fingers and the fact that he can even utilize his mouth.

It makes the feel of his bare hands on your cheeks all the more special and warm. “I’m home Y/N,” It’s a totally different feeling from his gloved hands.

Thoma

Leans in towards you when you speak

Because he wants to catch every single word that you say, because your words are important to him.

He innocently leans forward, even bending a little if he needs to, catching your back with his hand, specially if its crowded and the environment is too loud.

“Sure, we can do that,” he’ll say when he hears your suggestion.

He keeps close to you through the crowd, all the while almost wrapping an arm around your shoulder just to keep the conversation the two of you have going.

You can practically smell his scent from how close he is.

Sometimes even when it’s quiet, he doesn’t catch what you say because you’ve said it too softly, or he’s just preoccupied in his own mind. “Sorry love, say that again?”

He’ll turn towards you and his entire body is listening to you, head tilted towards your direction the slightest bit. Then he chuckles when he hears your message, but only moves forward the tiniest bit more to press his lips on your forehead. “I love you too, Y/N,”

Tighnari

Beckoning and calling you over

Exploring the forest is his calling, and documenting every little things takes time. Perhaps that’s why he loves having you around, because you’re a great help to his research, but in general, he finds that he just likes your presence, research or not.

“Y/N, over here,” Tighnari has always had a leader streak in him. He knows what he wants, what he needs to do and knows what to say. He commands others without hesitation and though he sometimes takes that tone towards you, he also respects your opinions.

He calls you over with an upward wave of his hand, sometimes only with a flick of his fingers. He’ll point something out to you and discuss with you about it.

“Y/N, look at this,” your name on his lips is like a constant. A fixed thing that’ll never disappear. It’s the first thing he says when he finds something interesting. He tilts his head over to the “thing” while looking at you, another way that he calls you over.

In the privacy of his and your quarters, as he finishes studying and turns off his desk light, he opens his arms and merely says your name, “Y/N,” he doesn’t have to ask you to come, your name is enough for you to move towards him and he gathers you into a hug. “Let’s go to sleep,” he’ll suggest, and you’ll agree.

Sometimes, even in his sleep, and you happen to wake up. You’ll see his ear twitch at your slight movement, and he’ll mumble your name, his arm subconsciously tightening around your waist. “Don’t go anywhere without me, Y/N,”

Venti

Playing with your hair

He likes it when you play with his hair, so he got the idea from you and started doing it to yours as well.

If you have long hair, he has the habit of curling a strand of it around his finger and watching it furl and unfurl. It looks boring, but he can do that for hours.

He also likes to take strands of it and kisses it while looking at you, he’s trying to get a reaction from you.

If you have short hair he merely likes to run his hand through it, specially when you’re in a hug, his hand crawls up and presses into your scalp oh so comfortingly. “Like that, my dandelion?”

He gets very pleased with himself when he feels you melt into his arms when he gives you that semi-scalp massage.

When he’s feeling mischievous he likes to give your hair a slight tug, just to get your attention, specially if you’re busy with something else or someone else.

It’s his ‘pay attention to me’ sign.

Xiao

Alertness - Always has an arm ready to shoot out in front of you

Rather than alert you always thought that he was just too nervous and jittery for his own good. He’s always ready to jump at anyone who looks like a threat to him and you.

It has, of course, saved you a couple of times but more often than not he’s actually just being overprotective. You let him do it if he’s comfortable with it but you remind him to ease up from time to time, specially if you’re just strolling along Liyue Harbor.

There are countless of times where he’s wedged himself in between you and someone he deemed as a threat, more often than not the “threat” was not really a threat at all, but during the times when they were he gets extremely irked. “Don’t come any closer,” and he’ll put a hand up to block you away from them.

One time there was also an incident wherein the two of you were walking back to Wangshu Inn and he sensed something in the air. He stops you, stands in front of you while keeping you as close as possible just as an arrow flies past the two of you. He was livid.

The other times were instances wherein you nearly trip, but since he’s always paying attention you never really fall. He catches you just in time, but never tells you off for being clumsy. It’s like he’s accepted it as his job already.

“...I suppose keeping you out of harm’s way isn’t a task...It’s merely something I’d like to do,”

Xingqiu

Easily laying on your lap and being comfortable

Once upon a time the two of you would read books an arm’s length away from each other. It’s one of those moments where the two of you hang out yet do different things. It’s the presence of the other that matters.

When the two of you became closer you would notice that you’re now shoulder to shoulder and you don’t know when exactly it started but he had moved on to settling his head on your lap while reading.

He reads while resting on your lap and thinks nothing of it, but he does consider it an extreme privilege and considers it very comfortable, more comfortable than any pillow, he said.

Then he started to doze off on your lap. You caught signs of it when his book started to droop and as the minutes passed he had somehow placed the book on his stomach and was now sleeping on your lap instead.

Now he just uses you as a pillow when he wants a nap, and doesn’t even ask.

Zhongli

Placing his hand on your lower back (I’ve definitely written about this before)

Not one to really show off public affection, but he still likes the occasional touch here and there.

He’s the type to lead you away or lead you to something by placing his hand on the small of your back. It’s not hesitant nor uncertain, his hand is firmly placed there and he knows exactly where he’s guiding or taking you.

It’s how people in Liyue know that the two of you have a close relationship. At first they weren’t sure, because the two of you don’t really talk about it, but the moment he places his hand on your lower back, it lights a bulb in the townspeople’s minds.

Sometimes they’ll catch him doing that, and also looking down at you as the two of you converse, there’s a different light in his eyes as he talks to you while leading you away. Like he really enjoys your company and your thoughts.

Without words his hand says a lot of different things. “Let’s head home then, darling,” “I’m right here with you, dear,” “Come with me, love,”

The subtlety of it is sweet, but it’s also protective in certain situations, such as when a merchant is overexcited in selling you something and borderline pushy. Zhongli will be next to you, hand on your back and smiling pleasantly at the merchant.

“They’re not quite interested in your wares, xiansheng (mister). We’ll take our leave now,”

And you’ll silently thank him for helping you out.

˖˚˳⊹ genre: fluff

ayato, who we know is a busy man, mingling and tinkering the whole day, can barely catch himself breathing steadily. Him being in a relationship never really occured into his head because he simply thought he wouldn‘t have the time anyways. Yet here you are now, all pretty for him while he‘s looking at you with those beautiful eyes of his. It‘s safe to say he‘s going to spoil you, it‘s just how his brain works, wants you to look all pretty for him and most importantly: he adores whenever you wear something he bought you, it‘s like he has you marked up in some sort, showing you‘re his and no one elses. Ayato will make sure he’s able to take off time for you but expects you to understand the situation he’s in as well. It’s pretty difficult at first, but if the both of you truly work with each other and accept all the good with the bad, it can develop into a relationship that cannot be compared to any other.

dainsleif, who‘s still not sure if he should really give himself to another person. In all honesty, he‘s scared, frightened, wouldn‘t want to hurt you or most importantly, wouldn‘t want you to get engulfed into the darkness he radiated. Though for him there wasn‘t a way to keep himself away from you, so he decided to give it a try regardless. At first he could become quite protective, —not in an obscene way though—, it‘s just dainsleif being concerned about your wellbeing. At some point he‘ll lose his strong demeanor in front of you, gradually opening up about his feelings and thoughts. Is a great listener as well, you could tell him anything and he‘d never judge you or your decisions, more so support you in the process. The early stages with dainsleif can become quite heavy, but the relationship that will form from that is one of an intimate and emotional one.

with xingqiu you never really know if he means something serious or if he‘s just his usual joking self again. You can be certain that the early stages of your relationship will be filled with lots of laughter, though sometimes you really do want to smack him, he‘s just a handful sometimes. Has an excuse for literally everything and rather spends his time with you than tackling some workload of his. Xingqiu will ask himself if you‘re really someone he‘d like to spend the rest of his life together, and if his answer falls to 'yes' he‘ll make sure to introduce you to his family soon. His family plays a big part in his life and it‘s important for him that you meet them, (will ask you first though to see if you‘re comfortable already). Last but not least, although he can become quite a handful with all his little annoying schemes, there‘s this serious side on him that will always listen to your problems and concerns.

if it’s kaeya, you can be sure that he‘s not going to let you go ever again. You‘re already way too important to him and he’s showing you exactly that with certain little things that may seem small to many but to you, they are bigger than anything else. From simply taking time off work or buying you lunch, kaeya will make sure that you‘re doing well, doesn‘t want you to be unhappy ever again. He will respect boundries of course, so if he‘s overstepping one or simply getting too clingy, you can tell him right away and he‘ll tone it down immediately, as stated before: he wouldn‘t want you go be unhappy or uncomfortable. Please make sure that you‘re also there for him, it‘s not easy for kaeya to let someone near his heart, meaning letting someone get close to the real person he‘s always trying to hide.

venti, who‘ll be painfully blunt about literally anything. Though he will make sure not to overstep any boundries since your relationship is still fresh and new, wouldn‘t want you to run away from him. He is a lot to handle yes, but there‘s some fun in it as well. Something that‘s refreshing about venti is that he wouldn‘t hide a single thing about himself, (only if it‘s really justified hence wanting to protect you). You‘re probably thinking that he‘s going to ask you out on a date at dilucs tavern but don‘t be fooled, —if anything—, once venti actually meets someone he likes, he‘s going out of his way to show you your importance to him. Will prepare cute picnics for you to enjoy unter the big three at windrise. It‘s his favorite place afterall and the place radiates some kind of unique warmth you‘ve never felt before. Not to mention that he‘ll start composing a song that‘s named after you, he‘s just clingy like that. (but but but, would be also happy if you accompany him at the tavern once!)

itto doesn‘t really know what he‘s doing but he has got the spirit in making this relationship work. At first, he does not want to creep you out in any way, is scared shitless that you‘re going to leave him after witnessing his real side. But soon he‘s going to forget about that anyways because itto is the "greatest oni of all time" he doesn‘t need to change! Because his gang is his family, he will introduce you to them pretty early on. (if you think he won't ask you if you want to join you're mistaken because he will). You see, itto is a free spirit, but you're always feeling safe with him. It wasn't necessarly his looks that made you feel defended, more so was it the warmth and kindness that was casted upon him. (note to say that if he's seeing someone look at you the wrong way, his arm would wrap around you unconsciously, muscles flexing with the movements to assert dominance lol).

we all know diluc can become quite shy, but he knows that if he really wants you to become a part of his life, he needs to go out of his way to show you that he‘s taking this serious. He‘s such a gentleman too! always opening the doors for you, helping you out of your jacket or simply making you a nice compliment. It‘s all babysteps with diluc, he prefers it that way and wants you to respect it as well. He‘s quite the romantic so expect some dinner dates decorated with flowers and candle lights, it sounds clichè but it‘s simply the truth. Takes great pride in his decorating skills, —will only ask his maids for a bit of help—, mostly doing everything himself. Note to say that in the beginning it can become very awkward, he‘s not used to talking a lot about himself or his interests! that‘s why he‘s a great listener though <3 make sure to challenge him a bit as well so he‘ll start talking more about his hobbies and ideas.

heizou wouldn‘t take it seriously at first but once he realises that he has actually completely fallen for you, he‘d make sure to proof to you that there isn‘t anyone better than him. Desperately trying to convince you that you’re in fact: made for each other. He‘s confident and owns it, —even though he can become quite scared of getting rejected—, since it‘s you after all. Expect a lot of spontaneous trips to different places of inazuma, will also snuggle the both of you into watastumi island to show you the most breathtaking views. For him, it‘s not spoiling you in a way such as spending money for jewellery and other goodies, but it‘s the memories he feels like are priceless in a relationship since you can‘t buy those and surely can‘t force them either!

childe, who will spoil you rotten already. Wasn‘t really his intention but the first gift led to the second one and so on. <3 it‘s not even a flaunting his wealth at you, it‘s more appreciative! showing you just how good you‘re making him feel with simple your presence. It all started with a small figure that reminded him of your first date with you, it was wonderfully wrapped around silk and decorated with little crystals. Not to mention that he will always send you flowers to your home, (sometimes a bit too many). He‘s incredibly busy with work almost the majority of his days, so he wasn‘t really looking for a s/o whatsoever, thinking that he simply doesn‘t have time. Is more than happy now !! because there is a certain person who might become someone he always dreamed of deep inside him. <3

And Oh. My. God. I kept thinking about when fighting and y'all kept throwing words (like when using a skill) and I'm just here standing, bracing myself SO HARD trying not to laugh (also irl). And then maybe now and then some mistranslation on Reader's mind since they use JP VA since the start of Genshin (assuming they play?) are new to Teyvat's Language:

Chongyun wanted to laugh at his friends attempts to be sympathetic. He knew it was all an act- everyone in the room knew that. It was so painfully obvious to see.

The way his hands were on your hips, slowly guiding you to the table in the center of the room. The way his hips were pressed so tightly against your own. It was even hard for Xingqiu to contain the smile he was holding back. The way we pulled off your last article of clothing with no remorse. The way he found excitement in the fact you were completely bare in a room full of fully dressed men. Legs spread by no one other then him.

Maybe your brain was going to haywire to realize what was happening, maybe it was trying to block it out. Only the gods knew, really. You could feel everything going on, but did not have the mental compacity you properly react to it. To try to run away. You were simply at a disadvantage.

He knew all of this and used it to make his move. Softly coaxing you with praise that it would all be over soon, and you had nothing to worry about. You want to believe him, but when something hard began to prod at your unprepared hole.

He wasn’t a man of teasing; he was a man of action. Lucky for you he would use oil to help out. Maybe he would even use the aphrodisiac oils his family specially prepared. Maybe he would be slow and gentle with you, as if you were a delicate flower.

Book's Purpose || Genshin Tk Fic

Hello all! This will be my first ever fic I have posted aaa! I'm so sorry if it turns out to be bad, but nevertheless, I hope at least some of you enjoy! \\(≧◡≦)//

As noon falled, so too, did Hu Tao's spirit. She had been sitting here for what felt like hours, awaiting for the red headed antler girl to pay her that very well deserved attention.

It all started when Xingqiu had showed Yanfei this new book series that the Yae Publishing House had published after what felt like year's, and the two of them have been excited ever since to read it together, however, Chongyun had to 'borrow' him well before they could make it to the library. Hu Tao didn't think much of it at first, I mean, how could she? It wasn't normal for Yanfei to sit down and read for an entire day. Did she even eat or drink, possibly take a bathroom break!? Hoo boy, these were answers only the Director knew.

"Yan-Yan~! I'm so bored.. can't you read this later? I've been waiting for you all-"

"Shh, it's getting interesting!" Hummed Yanfei in excitement, making 'ooo'ing noises when she continued.

Okay, NOW Hu Tao HAD to do something, anything! But what could it be? She already tried nagging her, annoying her, and even tugging at her, but none of those worked even the slightest to get her out of this headspace! Think, Hu Tao, think.. what is something you haven't tried yet? Something that might tickle her fancy.. wait, eureka, smart thinking! Was all she thought to herself, her once pouting face replaced with a large grin filled with childish mischief.

This expression, alone, finally caught Yanfei's attention, "Did you like this page too? I think the fact that Sir Sparkingt-huh? T-Tao-Tao, what're you..?" She question, eye's now filling with fear as she slid away from her in her seat. "So now you pay attention to me, hm? I was feeling a little lonely and sad, so what better than for us to have a good laugh?" She closed the gap between them, her finger's itching to find their first spot, the silliness alone was making Yanfei's usually blank expression change into a childish smile, raising her hands up to attempt and keep a distance between them.

"I-I'm finished with the book, I finished, j-just.. plehe-please don't!" Whimpered the red head, a long awe escaping Hu Tao's smugged lips, "Why should I? You only stopped because I've decided to.. what was the game called? Hm.. it starts with T, I just forgot the rest of the words! Mind helping me figure it out, Yan-Yan?" Chorused the brunette, before latching her right hand against her hip, rubbing into the plush area whilst her other hand went to catch her right hand, placing it over her head.

"H-Huhu Tahao! Why're yoho- hmhmhm! Why're you d-doing.. thihi- this?" She attempted to hold back her giggles, the soft kneading from Hu Tao's fingertips only exceeding, her fingertips digging gently into her back, her thumb rubbing into the divet of her hip, making Yanfei's left hand reach down and grab at her wrist, "W-Wait! No, thihihi- gahmhmhmhm! T-this is embarrassing!" Flushed the red head, her movements becoming slightly more frantic from such soft movement's. Man, didn't Hu Tao want to do this forever now.

"Are you sure? There's literally no one here, you chose this spot for a reason, my beloved. I could just eat you up for how adorable you are! You know what? I might do just that!" She leaned over and nibbled at her neck, acting like she was eating her whilst making 'nom nom nom' noises, "GAH! Nohohoho! Hu Taha-AHH!" She shrieked, shocking the both of them. All Hu Tao did was bring the hand that once held her right arm up and rub at her antle- oh. Oh. Now she understood.

"Oh no, did I just find my little giggle bug's tickl-tickl-ticklish spot?" Teased the other, both hands going up to rub at the area. Before she could, however, Yanfei took this opportunity to spider at her underarms, making her squeak and quickly lower her arm's to protect herself. Once Hu Tao did just that, Yanfei booked it, she ran out the place and went to hide. "Ohohoh, NOW you want to play, hm? Well then, let's play!"

And just like that, Hu Tao went out to find her Rudolph. She looked behind each place thoroughly, behind each nook and cranny, until she had saw her trying to sneak out of Liyue Harbor. Oh she wasn't going to escape this time! Quickly, the brunette pursued after her.

After a long game of cat and mouse, Hu Tao was victorious, he arm's wrapped around her girlfriend's waist, as they both fell into the grass, glaze lillies and silk flowers cuddling against the two girl's. They laughed at their silliness before squealing, high pitched laughter poured out Yanfei once again. The brunette had nuzzled her nose into the underside of Yanfei's antler, whilst her hands squeezed at the sides of her tummy, "BWAH!? H-HAHAH! Huhu- HU TAHAO! WAHAHAIT, wahahait! Ohohohoh gohohohosh noho! Hehehelp me!" Yanfei reached out, before whining as the german shepherds near the harbor went over and lapped at her neck and tummy, making her curl up, "COHOHOME ON!" She threw her head back, Hu Tao smiling, "How cute, they think you're sweet!" She chuckled, Yanfei shaking her head once again, "Okahahay, yohou win, juhuhust hehelp mehehehehe! They tihihickle!" She hugged Hu Tao's arm, her aweing, "Okay okay, c'mon pups! Cut it out!" She petted the two, making them bark out happily before running back to their positions.

"So, anything you'd like to say, hm?" Hu Tao smuggly looked at her, laughing when she lightly whacked her arm, "Okay I get it." She smiled, before humming as Yanfei mumbled against her shoulder, "What was that?" She asked, rubbing her back as the two cuddled in the grass, the sun beaming comfortably against the two, "I said I love you, and.. I wouldn't mind thay happening again." She said, nuzzling her face into her neck to hide her blush. "I had fun too, love you." She kissed her head, before the two dozed off, forgetting what they were playing about before as they took this opportunity to relax.
