First off: VESTA IS NOT THE PHYSICAL LIFE OF THE SHIP. Vesta is El’s security system who basically works as Vesta’s “Janet”. She’s an over glorified search engine and security system. 

She’s sassy and completely an ass. But she’ll help when she can.
