I once decided to give this artwork as a gift to a one girl I liked . After riding my bike a long way to her place, I found out she wasn’t home and wouldn’t return for three days. Frustrated, I left the piece in a park, but I wrapped it so tightly it looked like a package of powdered drugs. I placed it near a stone, took a photo, and sent it to her with a message: “If you find it when you return, it’s yours.”

A few hours later, I decided to check if it was still there and found it unwrapped and discarded nearby. Feeling disappointed, I left it there. When she returned a few days later, she couldn’t find the painting, and I came to terms with it being gone.

However, about a week later, while walking her dog near the same park, she felt drawn toward the stone where I had left the gift. As she wandered nearby, admiring the surroundings, her dog suddenly lunged forward. The leash snagged a small wooden panel hidden near the stone, flipping it over right in front of her. To her surprise, it was the painting, staring directly back at her.

So, I framed one of my early completed paintings, and I made the frame myself out of plaster and wood. However, after some time, I ended up removing the frame because the whole thing started to feel too heavy. The painting itself is already emotionally and colorfully intense, and then I added such a heavy frame to it.
