'중경삼림(重慶森林: Chungking Express)'은 매니아가 존재할 수밖에 없는 영화다. 오랜만에 듣고 있는 California Dreamin'.

근데 왕가위(王家卫, Wong Karwai) 감독이 진촤... 그 특유의 알맹이 없는 감성인데 사랑은 담긴, 그... 고런 포인트를 잘 짚어낸다��요. 보고 나면 남는 게 없는 것 같은데 또 뭐가 남긴 남아. 근데 남았다고 하기엔 좀 허전해? 그런 묘한 느낌쓰.

'박찬욱' 감독님이 이 영화에 촌철살인을 남긴 게 계속 생각난다고. '타락천사(墮落天使: Fallen Angels)'도 보고 싶은데 왕가위 감독의 감성을 알기에 아직도 안 보고 있습니다.

Dance Smash x Cinema: 1/? Li Yanchao x Li Xing | In The Mood For Love

Starting a mini series here of film-inspired dances from Dance Smash (舞蹈风暴), a cross-genre dance competition show from Hunan Satellite TV. Boasting an impressive cast of top dancers from their respective genres, the main differentiator of Dance Smash with other dance competition shows is the circular stage design, with cameras installed around it in a ring, allowing for 360° captures of the stage of moments seemingly suspended in air.

To kick things off is the In The Mood for Love inspired modern dance number (because of course Wong Karwai + two of my favorite dancers) by close friends and frequent partners Li Yanchao and Li Xing in the collaboration round of Season 2.

Film recommendation. This is one of my all-time favorite films, Chungking Express, from one of my favorite directors, Wong KarWai. The film takes place in Hong Kong in 1994. The young woman behind the counter at the fast food joint is "California dreaming" and plays the song continuously. The guy is tired of his job and unhappy with his love life. Spoiler: she gets to go to California and then they discover each other. Fun, sweet film. Do you have a favorite older film?

Currently here in hong kong airport waiting for my flight to dubai. I do always think of you all the time even up into this moment of my life. I just think of you all the time wherever I go in HK always pumapasok sa head ko yung Wong KarWai and I'm just wondering all the time, what we could've been if we didn't break up. Maybe sabay tayo pumasyal ng HK and flight pa dubai. Ang saya siguro talaga if ganun ang nangyari sa story natin.

That heavy feeling na mention mo ganyan na feel ko everyday. I'm just trying my best to distract myself just to escape that feeling.

Hearing your father na sana ikakasal na tayo makes me want to cry, eto habang sinusulat to naiiyak ako. Sorry uncle sa nagawa ko sa anak mo and sorry to disappoint you. Wish you well uncle and the whole family, I will miss you all and thank you for welcoming me sa family nyo and pagiging kind sa akin. I really appreciate it everything. Di bale uncle, Jang will find the right person, I know she will.
