so! in botw there were two dlcs. one was free and automatically updated with the game. the other was like 20 bucks. the one that was 20 bucks basically gave a bunch of easter egg armor that did things. like there was phantom armor that looked like the phantom monsters in phantom hourglass, it gave you attack boosts. majora’s mask made all enemies ignore you like the monster masks from kilton. midna’s helmet upped guardian resistance. you had to pay for that dlc to get all those, and they were in chests hidden all around the map.

in totk some of the items carried over. i don’t know what or how many did, but i do know that midna’s helmet now ups gloom resistance and i believe majora’s mask does the same it originally did. i know majora’s mask is in the depths somewhere. also it looks like they tweaked the amiibo drops from botw, with some amiibos you could get armor sets that made you look like link from different games, or have their weapons/shields. they’ve put some of those in the base game of totk. the twilight set, that looks like link’s tunic from top, and the fierce deity set are in the base game of totk rather than being amiibo drops. i’m sure there are others but those are all i’ve seen so far.
