Okay so no I didn’t have an ask to answer about him but someone did ask in the replies so I say close enough

I love these two a lot already

Caiman adopted Little Bug, calling him by that nickname since it was one of the only words he knew. Also yes, he has a genetic mutation where he has two tails and two stingers/barbs. Yes, she loves him very much and also yes sometimes he gets really confused why mom doesn’t have a stinger at all.

If you're curious about the two-headed dragon, they go by the name Auguarth/Falsifier.

Lore dump:

In my Wings of Fire universe, the number of dragons born with wings has gradually declined due to the pressure of gravity, which has made it increasingly difficult for them to take flight.

Over time, most dragons have evolved to be born without wings, though there are still occasional exceptions. Those who are born with wings often face severe health issues as they age unless they undergo surgery to remove them.

Auguarth, a dragon born from a RainWing/SandWing and a SkyWing, was part of a large egg—the biggest in the clutch—though it was actually meant to be triplets, with the other embryos being absorbed during development. When Auguarth finally hatched, they were weak and unhealthy. Left behind by their parents, they were fortunate to be found and taken in by a group of humans who decided to raise them.

That's the extent of what I'll give you, there's so much but I am not writing a whole essay.

Kelp bride

Hand drew each kelp piece (other than the farthest background as thats just a vine brush blurred) and I can tell you its honestly very fun. Kelp forests my beloved.

Its a busier piece but there was no way I was going to get rid of any of the kelp lmao.

Quick question about the characters u posted!!

Is Finch's wing an injury, or wasnit like that at birth? (Curious bc I have an oc with a congenital wing deformity and I like knowing if I have the same/similar ideas to other people JEJCNEHSJF)

I am bustling with excitement that people are asking me about them

Anyway anyway I was reading book number jade mountain and I remembered a certain Skywing’s injury from a Sandwings tail. I looked up art of the grump and strangely everything I saw with him had just a simple scratch scar and I was really curious cause I’d imagine Sandwing barbs would do something unique at least. I took inspo from the drago viper bite description, except if you toned it down a bajillion times. If one of those barbs could be used to slice instead of just stab, it made me wonder what it would do to a wing membrane since it’s so thin and the poison could eat away and stop it from being able to heal back easily. (Not to mention a Sandwing strategist would obviously go for a skywing’s wings.) Thus my idea for Finch became a thing. He’s become rather great at climbing to make up for the inability to fly.

The first talon of peace

Snapping Turtle was the first of the talons of peace Argile introduced me to.

Only slightly shorter than the mudwing, Snapping turtle is an odd looking seawing. His scales arent vibrant like usual and his snout is short. His larger form is almost all muscle, learned this as his tail crushed a large log like it was a twig. I doubt anything could pierce through his thick scales

As his name implies he is extremely snappy. I hadnt got a word in before he complained about my timelyness. I fully believed he hated me until he paused and complimented my scales. An odd interjection but a welcomed one.

From what Argile explained Snapping turtle is very smart with strength to back it up. It makes him perfect for information collecting in more dangerous areas. He has very few scars which makes me wonder how often he actually fights... or more so how good he is at it. I wasnt going to try and find out. Why make enemies so early on.. he also did compliment me.

Im nervous to meet the others as ive hear argile refer to Snapping turtle as "The nice one" Not giving me a lot of hope right now
