Heya! We're going to keep this update briefer than usual. Here is the preview of our Wands suit! The Wands suit traditionally represents one's consciousness and core values and is visualized as Sonic's allies in Sonic the Tarot.

Our lineart phase is almost at a close, so look forward to the Pentacles suit preview next week! In that post, we will also discuss our current timeline for those interested in production technicalities. Thank you!

D&D Not-Tarot Tarot Cards

Part 2 (part 1)

I had an idea for a future character that’s a chaotic neutral divination wizard, who makes all decisions based on a Magic 8 ball, a coin, and a deck of cards.

I didn’t want it to use actual Tarot, so I had the idea to come up with my own deck. There aren’t suites - just a bunch of people, places, and things. Some of them are game-specific to our current homebrew, and some are more generic.

I still have MANY left to go, since I didn’t really set an end point for myself. As I see it in-game, the cards just keep manifesting. It’ll give me practice with improv during game, as I’ll have to interpret the cards to fit the situation.

This also gives me a long-term experimental art project, as I can test out brushes and art styles relatively quickly.

The uncensored decks can get pretty hairy (so to speak).
