During case 1, in dr2, I always thought Peko was meant to be on her period- cus like. Her stomach ache was too quickly brushed over, like it's really weird to just have her randomly need to poop so bad she has to fall to her knees and groan.

Also, Nagito saying stuff like "It's not really something I can say, I feel bad enough for her already" and Mahiru being like "Of course a boy wouldn't understand!"

Nagito is many things, unhinged being one of them, but I also like to think he's the type to carry tampons in case a friend needs one.

favorite thing about them

Okay this may be a bit harsh, but I honestly fell in love with them from loving to dunk on him. Originally, I played this game on a stream with friends and I could not stand Komaeda in the slightest. But he was undoubtedly interesting and intriguing. So I began to learn more about him and then I got addicted to his POV and how he really saw the world.

If I had to pick a favorite thing about him, it would be learning about what he was dealing with and his true feelings, how he deflects those feelings and tries to bury his needs in this warped idealistic version of Hope.

A second thing I love about him? He's a very intimate type of character. The way he speaks about things are quite romantic. His character songs are like beautiful declarations of love and need, of his inner desires. And honestly, it's all just very bold and striking. I love that he's a character who wants to be close to others, but holds himself back due to his talent and his past. There's so much going on there.

least favorite thing about them

I...really hate that the fandom ignores the things he does that are really wrong. Like yeah, TeruTeru is trash, but Nagito utterly manipulated a guy who was already barely keeping it together and put murder into his mind.

Nagito is, at the same time, a very selfish and selfless character. Those two things aren't mutually exclusive. But I feel like the fandom ignores a lot of his issues and his actual self-serving attitude.

I get the feeling that he and Ibuki really secretly vibe. And they vibe hard. I feel like he has the patience to really keep up with her energy and to indulge in anything she wants to do and that would be so important to Ibuki. Especially since someone like him would be very open about enjoying it too.

random headcanon

I'm still wondering if he's genuinely homeless. Like what was that about in the anime? O.O If he's homeless... does he just come and go as he pleases and like living outside? I gotta think more on this.

unpopular opinion

I really do see him as bi/pan and/or demisexual depending on certain things. Ultimately, I think what his initial attraction is is his love of Hope that he senses and then fixates on someone for, so gender is never really even the first thing he ever considers. But that's just my personal thoughts. I think gay Komaeda headcanons, trans headcanons, and of course, bi/pan and whathaveyou headcanons are all valid as fuck.
