Excited for Witcher 4 so quick drawing of Ciri

I've tripped and fallen into a hyperfocus labelled "The witcher".

I'll grant you that i'm prone to stumbling ass over apple cart, from one obsession to another. But this one has me in a stranglehold. When witcher 4 was announced around a week ago i was struck initially by simple raw excitement, pure and true as driven snow. But now that i've seen the cinematic trailer the legally mandated 100 times.. i can't help but feel two things: when this game drops i will be *insufferable* and two..i can't wait to be repeatedly emotionally devastated. Ciri, getting the thing shes wanted since she was a kid..finally free of the expectations brought upon her by blood. Getting to walk in the footsteps of her real parents...and moving beyond them

She's a burnt out child prodigy. She was chosen and her entire life has been about this one thing. She stopped the apocalypse and fulfilled her destiny. Now she's lost because what do you even do after that? Her whole destiny (that she hated, by the way) was taken from her. She didn't want to rule.

So she goes to the one thing that made her happy. Her good memories are from Kaer Morhen and Geralt and Yennefer, her family. She doesn't know what she's supposed to do now that she's not running. But she sees that there is a job to do. Something that she can do. So she does it and goes through the mutations to do it better.

They didn't ruin Ciri. They listened to her and now they're showing us what she does next.

I saw someone suggest that Geralt should only appear in Witcher 4 as the optional final boss at the end of a Gwent tournament and that’s the best idea I’ve ever heard make it real please 😂

I can't believe they threw away all the male gaze present in Ciri's design from Witcher 3 for the sake of creating THE MOST SAPPHIC ASS BUFF MOMMY.
