Masterlist Badger express ★ Lorenzo Berkshire x Hufflepuff! reader (fem) Summary: While doing a school project, Lorenzo tries his luck. With the help of the wind and the sun, he falls harder and harder. Warnings: no use of y/n, Authors note: Haiya! This is a sequel series to the whole delivery one. This one is gonna focus on the boys separately! hope you enjoy it! English is not my first language, so I apologize for any mistakes beforehand. Proofread by me and me only (T▽T) And just so you know, it always has been him. ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ ( and yes I know he's a slut, not here tho, maybe next time.) word count: 1.1k Song: Married In Vegas - The Vamps
Light breeze messes with his hair. He does not care as much as his attention is on the mooncalf nest that rests below the cliff. The girl next to him is doing the same. Her hair is held together in a braid with a yellow ribbon wrapped into it. They are both lying down at the edge of the cliff, one wrong move and they would be rolling down. He turns his face to her.
“Why are we doing this?” He whispers, yes whispered as he has already been scolded once for speaking at his normal volume. Apparently, it would scare the weird animal away and that is not what they want.
“It's a school project, I told you that.” She says, her gaze not moving away from the big-eyed cows.
“I don't think Hagrid would care if we pulled everything out of a book.” He argues back but knows there is no way out of this. He's finally being let in on a Hufflepuff sacred. No wonder they always get the best marks in ‘care for magical beasts’. They simply just vibe with them. The girl just shook her head at him.
The girl scooted a little bit more over the edge. Lorenzo's hand flew over to her and grabbed the back of her shirt. For a witch, she does not have even an ounce of self-preservation in her body. A small rock fell from their shuffling and landed near the nest. Scaring all the mooncalf, making them run and hide.
“look what you did!” the girl says and, with the help of Lorenzo, sits up.
“Me? I'm not the one trying to throw myself off the cliff!” he says, now too, sitting.
The girl scoffs and gets up to make her way over to the blanket where they set their stuff. He makes his way to her and sits down right next to her. Their knees touching. They both pulled out their notebook, he wrote down his observations and she finished her sketch of the animal.
Silence falls upon them as they both do their own thing. Lorenzo's eyes shift to see her sketch, only to see a familiar face. He does not know if he should call her out or not. But since he considered himself her best friend, a fact she constantly denies, he decided to do the first option.
“AYO, is that me!” Startled, the girl closes the notebook so fast it makes a thud so loud that he's certain the mooncalf all hid again. He tried to take the notebook from her, but she threw it on the other side of the blanket. She restraints one of his hands and the other one lands by her back.
When Lorenzo noticed how close they were, a smile crept on his face. She noticed too, as his legs curled a little. She turns her body to face him more and places her other hand near his, probably so she can quickly grab it if he tries something.
He noticed her eyes were scanning his face. A breeze messes with his hair again. The girl blinks and lets his arm go, going to fix it for him. He places his, now free, arm on her thighs, squeezing them to make sure his arm lands where he wants it to without actually looking.
The two friends stay silent. Not an awkward one, but a comfortable one they always seem to find themself when they are together.
“You're so pretty, I wish I could get you pregnant.” She breaks the silence. Lorenco can do nothing but chuckle. He buried his face in the crook of her neck. His arms now sneaking around her waist. Pulling her closer to his body.
“Ditto” He murmurs. He can feel her shake with laughter. She was now playing with his hair, something he could let her do all day if he could. That's why he peels himself off of her. She just looked at him confused. Lorenzo just shakes his head and moves a little, before ploping his head down on her lap. He makes sure to grab her arms and slam it on his head for good measure.
She looks at him with a shocked expression before sighing. Nonetheless, she does what he wishes for and plays with his hair. He flashes her a smile full of pearly whites.
“You're annoying.” She says looking down at him. he pokes her side making her squirm a bit.
“But you still love me.” he sings back to her. She does not answer to him. They fall into silence again. The girl is not looking at him. Something in the distance caught her attention. He did not mind, as if she were to look down on him, she would see a fool in love.
A sun framed her head and made it look like a halo. He was smitten.
“So you know how you just wanna be friends?” He says making her give him attention. Looking down at him her arm came to a stop.
“Yeah?”
“That's cool and all, but I'm like in love with you.”
“Same” The girl just breaths out. Lorenzo did not expect her to say that. In a second he has decided he is not letting her change her mind.
He shoots up and cages her with one of his arms while the other one goes to her neck and pulls her closer. He does not give her a chance to register what is going on.
Their lips met, softly than someone would expect with how fast Lorenzo was with his moves. She took a few seconds before kissing him back, her arms cradling his face.
The kiss was sweet and slow, a fairytale-like.
Soon they ran out of breath, the girl gently pushing Lorenzo away as he tried to chase her into another kiss. Still, with closed eyes, he lends his forehead to hers.
“That was-” A low whistle cuts him off. Cursing under his breath, Lorenzo opened his eyes and straightened out. there stood four of his friends. A whine leaves him.
“AYO I DID NOT KNOW YOU HAVE A GAME LIKE THAT.” Draco makes sure that he can be heard all the way back to Hogwarts. Multiple praises and hollers sound on the little cliff they found themself on.
All the boys make their way to Lorenzo, lifting him up and repeatedly tossing him in the air. All he could do was catch a glimpse of the girl with a yellow ribbon in her hair laughing. Not even noticing the love note falling out of his pocket and getting lost in the wind.

Hi don’t know if you’re taking requests (if not please ignore!) just wondering how Halloween would look like in the KBD universe or even a masquerade ball for prince Steve and reader?
thank you for requesting angel ♡ kbd mom!reader, 2k
"I think we should paint her orange," Avery says.
Steve pushes the wand of his bubbles back into the container, coating it in solution. "What for, honey?"
"For Halloween! We'll paint her orange and she can be a pumpkin."
"Oh."
Steve purses his lips, blowing bubbles over the green grass of the garden. It's alive despite it being late October, mildly crisp underfoot. He can hear leaves crunching under Bethie's boots where she runs around toward the back gate.
Wren sees the bubbles and giggles wildly. Steve grins. "You like those, sweetheart?"
"What if we make her green like a witch?"
"Who, Ave?"
"Wren."
"Oh. Well, Wren can't use face paint yet, babe, she's too little," Steve explains, dipping the wand in solution again. "But they're very good ideas. Do you know what you want to be?"
Avery throws her hands out. She's getting older than he ever imagined her, but she's still so small at the end of the day with delicate little hands and facial expressions cute enough to make a grown man cry. Steve would know, he's cried a ton of times just looking at her.
"I already told you."
Steve pretends to remember to spare her feelings as he blows more bubbles. He knows you'll know, and so it's a white lie. Better for everyone. "I remember! You're gonna be awesome."
She smiles for the first time in ten whole minutes and sits down next to Steve. He offers her the bubbles and the wand, freeing his hands to give her a loving squeeze from either side. "Very good ideas," he repeats, patting her arm.
Bethie comes running with two cupped hands. Steve can picture her find before she shows him, and still he's horrified to see a slug in her palm. It's not big but neither is she, lavishing across the breadth of her hand.
Ew, Steve thinks. "Wow, Beth! What did you find?"
"There's snails, too!" she says excitedly, her eyes bright as her attention flickers between the slug and her dad. "They're sleeping, I think. They're stuck to the slide."
"Beth, listen to me really quickly?"
"Yeah, dad," she says, nodding.
"I like that you're being gentle with the slugs, you're being nice, but as soon as you put him down, don't touch your face, okay? In fact, when you put him down, we're gonna go inside and wash our hands."
Beth looks down at her slug in alarm. "What?"
"He's not dangerous!" Steve reassures her. "But he might have germs. Germs don't hurt our skin, but they can't go in your mouth, okay? Good girl."
"He can't hurt my skin?"
"No, bub. Some bugs can, but not the plain black slugs. How about next time you want to pick one up, you come and get me and we'll pick it up together?"
Steve doesn't want to kill her fearlessness in this sole area, not when she's usually timid around everything else, but he also doesn't want to kill her full stop. All these random bugs, Steve doesn't know what's what.
"Okay. I picked this one up because he's got a yellow stripe," she says. Beth speaks in full words and makes sense the majority of the time, but her delivery is clumsy, heavy in places. Steve can still remember her first word. He's a firm believer in taking your time (please. please, let her take her time).
"You're super brave," he praises.
"Mom says bugs are more 'fraid of us than we are of them."
"She's right. Think if something this much bigger than you picked you up one day, you'd want them to put you down gently, right?"
Determination fills her eyes. "Yes."
She starts to run off but then slows, holding her hand aloft in front of her.
Closer by, Avery blows bubbles near Wren's soft chair, the youngest baby giggling like a tinkling bell. You and Steve have emphasised to Avery that Wren isn't her responsibility. Look after her as you would your other sisters, but don't feel like being the biggest sister makes you in charge. Avery sort of listened, but now she's planning Halloween costumes in her head, Steve's worried she's putting too much on her little shoulders, as she tends to do.
"Come here, my big girl," he demands, opening his arms.
Avery grins and jumps into his lap. Steve groans playfully, happy to be trampled, and just glad she had the foresight to screw the cap on her bubbles before she pounced.
"Hello. So, do I need to go to the store for this costume?" he asks.
"Probably."
"Okay. Are you coming with me to choose?"
"Mom said we're all going after lunch."
Steve waves her arms back and forth. "I guess we better get ready, then."
Easier said than done. Steve marches the girls back inside to find you've already dressed Dove and sat her in her chair with her lunch in front of her. Feeding young kids is tough because you're always trying to rotate things to keep their tastes big, but you've given in today to an easy solution; everybody's having pizza subs and halved grapes. So long as they're fed, who minds?
"Give me the babies!" you say, jumping up from your seat to grab Wren, chair and all, "Hi. Something tells me it's time for a bottle."
"I'll get them dressed–"
"Go get yourself dressed. They can eat first." You kiss his cheek. "I put some stuff out for you already."
"I can do it," he insists.
"Take a break," you insist back, your tone gentle as velveteen.
His turn to kiss your cheek. "Do you know what Avery wants to be for her costume?" he asks in your ear.
"She wants to be Belle, she told us weeks ago." He remembers as soon as you say it. "But I don't think finding a costume for her is going to be very easy this close to Halloween."
Steve doesn't blame either of you for your busy October, but he hates himself watching Avery grow more and more disappointed with every store you drive to. There are no yellow princess dresses to be found, only store brand pinks. Bethie is ecstatic to choose one of those ones and Dove insists on a white fairy costume with sugar paper wings, but Avery's frown grows heartbreaking when it's clear there aren't any Belle dresses to buy.
"I'm sorry," you're saying, Wren strapped to your chest, Beth and Dove knee to knee in the shopping cart in front of you. "It's my fault, baby, I left it last minute."
"No, it's my fault," Steve says.
Avery glares for a while, standing in front of all the dresses. Steve bends down to speak with her. "I'm sorry, Ave. Don't be mad at mom, okay? It's not her fault even when she says it is, she was busy working and I forgot about costumes because I had all that stuff with Wren and the doctors and my glasses and–" He winces. "I'm sorry. Really, really sorry. So be mad at me if you want, I was supposed to remember, but I'll make it up to you, promise."
"I told you ages ago," she says morosely.
"I know. You did. I didn't think about them running out of costumes, Avery. Sometimes when you're a grown up you have so much stuff to think of you don't have room for all of it, but that's not fair, huh? Now you don't get the costume you wanted."
She sighs, but the thing about Avery is that if you understand her point, she runs out of anger, just like her mom. She wants to make up, burying her face in Steve's thigh for a hug.
"What am I going to be now?" she asks.
"How about Belle's blue dress, babe?" you suggest.
"They don't have any Belle costumes!"
"I know, but we can make one. That's what me and dad did growing up, right?" you ask.
"All my costumes were homemade," he seconds, "that was the fun part."
So Avery marches you guys to the normal dresses and together you look for something nice and long enough for her tall stature. It's in the middle of this searching when she gasps, jumping up to grab Steve by the elbows.
Delighted at being forgiven, he bends down at her whim. "What?" he asks excitedly.
"Wren can be a bumblebee, like me!"
"You remember that?" he asks.
"No, but you have the photo in the car. Do you still have the costume?"
It's Steve. Of course he kept the costume, he keeps everything, an attic stuffed to bursting with the offcuts of your lives. You giggle from the landing underneath him, the baby in one arm and a spooky drink made special by Dove in the other hand. "I wish you could drink more than milk."
"Don't poison her!" Steve says, covered in cobwebs and knees white with dust as he climbs down the rickety ladder back onto solid ground. You wolf whistle as he reaches up to close everything safely, and cheer when you see the bee costume in his hand.
"You're the best. Think we should let Avery put it on her?" you ask.
"Maybe. Think she can be gentle enough?"
Your little girl, so preoccupied with her sister's costume that she forgot about her own? Yes, Avery can be gentle enough. She sews Wren's small arms into the costume's sleeves like she's handling a girl made of glass, and she doesn't attempt to lift her, quick to say, "Dad, can you pick her up for me?"
Steve lifts her and Wren does her scrunch, legs pulled up high and face a little startled. She's just old enough to giggle, prompting Bethie to join in as she races across the living room rug, the skirts of her dress fluttering against the floor.
"She looks like a bee!" Dove says, following after, her fairy wings jittering with her movements.
"She is!" Avery says, buttoning Wren's last button.
Finally, after an exhausting afternoon (both of energy and your wallets), the four girls are dressed in their Halloween costumes. Avery as Belle in her original blue dress and white apron, not the costume she wanted but clearly her favourite character nonetheless. Bethie wears her pink princess dress and one of Avery's big plastic tiaras, her hair done as you would style your own for date night. Dove twirls in her white fairy dress, silver corset ribbons shiny in the light. Wren gurgles in his arms, her soft wings folded between her and Steve's chest. And you, uncostumed, stand beautiful and tired in the doorway, sparkly eyeshadow in a stripe up your cheek.
The girls smile at him and their eyes glimmer.
"Wow," he says, leaning back against the couch. "You guys look amazing."
"It's about an hour until we're gonna leave," you say, "so please do mommy a favour and watch some TV, okay?"
You set them up in a line with a bowl of chips each —you can vacuum them clean. Steve cleans as quickly as he can while you wipe your face and put aside some stuff for tonight in case the girls come home hungry, and eventually, eventually, you and Steve make your way to the kitchen table for a quiet minute together.
"Wren's–"
"In her bassinet," Steve says. "You're–"
"Fine." You reach for his hand. "And you're–"
"Perfect." He rubs the back of your fingers with his thumb. "I've missed you today. I know we were together, but…"
You slouch into the table, resting your cheek on a placemat and closing your eyes. "Me too, sweetheart."
He shuffles closer and leans in. "Tired, huh?" he asks gently, pressing similarly soft kisses to your cheek. "Love you," he says. "Don't fall asleep."
"I'm not. Just resting my eyes."
He doesn't rub your back, worried it'll send you to sleep. Instead, he kisses all over your face, sloe at first and faster when he realises it'll take a while to cover every inch. You smile and let him do as he pleases, laughing under your breath as he kisses your eyelid, squirming when he pecks under your nose. "Freak," you mumble.
"That's what I'm being for Halloween."
"What am I gonna be?" you ask.
"Same as every year, I thought. Most beautiful girl this side of the Mississippi river."
You like the sound of it, pulling your joined hands to your face to nuzzle his knuckles.
"Or you can be Frankentstein," he suggests. "I'll be the monster."
"We can just be the two tiredest parents ever."
"That's not super creative, babe, we kinda do that every day."
"So I'm not beautiful every day," you say quickly, having set him up. "Knew it."
"You tricked me."
"Did not. Make it up to me?"
"What do you want?" he asks.
"Just a hug, Stevie." You raise your head to smile at him sleepily. "A really nice hug, please."
He saves the line about every hug being nice when it's with you and cuddles you, stroking your back for countless minutes, murmuring nothings to you until baby Wren shriek-cries from the living room. Steve soothes her upset, and you start the impossible task of getting everyone in their shoes for a night of trick-or-treating.

Farmer!Ghost x Female!Reader
Arhtur's Note: I apologize for taking so long to post this everyone. It takes a while for me to find a good story to it and I was busy helping out with my family and work. So I hope this is worth the wait. Let me know if I miss anything or which part that doesn't make sense and I'll re-edit quickly! Thank you so much for your patience! And also, I have added the names of you guys having two friends. Just in case you get mixed if you thought they were part of the COD universe. Thank you! And enjoy!
Words: 3376
Halloween is tonight and everyone in town is busy preparing for this fun event. The mayor in town had already planned on making the best Halloween Festival YET!
There will be some foods, drinks, games, fun rides-
EVERYTHING that is on the list. And you were quite excited!
You even volunteered to help out with the food vendor. Along with your friends as well.
You were in charge of the food as you made sure that the orders will be delivered on that exact date in time. And you also offered your own cooking and baking for the little kids. The leaders of the committees agreed to it and will send someone to deliver EVERYTHING that you needed for the food preparation.
Which you don’t mind. So you and your friends are at the big hall, in the kitchen, busy cooking.
“This is SO exciting!” One of your friends said in a chirpy tone while putting the pans of cupcakes and a pan of cake into the oven. “This will be the BEST festival yet!”
The other friend of yours nodded as she agreed. “Yeah! And hopefully it’ll be better than LAST year.”
You just smiled at your two friends, who are named Rebecca and Sally, talking about the festival. You started to cook some nice meals for the special events before giving a taste test.
“Hey, what are you gonna wear for Halloween? I’m going to be that sexy vampire!”
“Mine is just being a witch. I’m also bringing that big cauldron for apple bobbing!”
You gave them a smile before hearing them asking you what you’re going to wear. You shook your head as you went back to cooking. “I don’t have anything to wear for the festival. Just casual clothes.”
“WHAT?!?” The two friends of yours had made that horror expression as if they received the news of someone DYING.
Rebecca had started to walk over to you as she stood next to you. “What do you mean you have nothing to wear for the festival? Come on! It’ll be so cool and cute of you wearing SOMETHING!”
You just shrugged at them. “I wanted to. Really. But to tell you the truth. I didn’t have time to look for one. I was SO busy getting everything ready before tonight. So for this year only, I’m not gonna wear anything.”
The two best friends looked at each other before looking back at you with an unsatisfying look.
Sally had walked up towards you before gently taking your cooking ware away from your hands. Which you looked at her with a confusing look.
“Girl! You can’t just leave us hanging with the costume! We’ll help you to get one!”
The other one nodded with agreement as she smiled at you. “Yeah! You can worry about the food while the two of us find you a GOOD looking outfit!”
You shook your head as a small smile appeared on your lips. “No no no. It’s okay. I’ll just pass this year. Promise. I know how much you girls wanted all of us three dressing up! But please understand that I’ve been busy preparing all of this.”
The two girls pouted but sigh in defeat when you bring up your reason.
Rebecca shrugged a bit. “Fine. But NEXT year, if you’re busy then let us know. We can help you pick your outfit!”
Sally nodded in agreement. “Yes! Promise us that!”
You just giggled but agreed with the girls. “Promise!”
While the three of you continued cooking and baking, you heard a knock from the entrance in the front door.
“Special delivery!” A heavy Scottish accent called out through the door.
You walked over to open it and saw it was a young man. He seems to look like in his late 20s and has a mohawk on his head. Wait, a mohawk?
“Good day to ye, lass! Here to drop off these boxes of flour, butter, some seasoning and some fruits? Are you the one who orderit?” He asked with a genuine smile as you smiled back at him.
You nodded in response before stepping aside. “Yes! You can go ahead, bring it in and head to the back. The kitchen is right in there.”
He nodded before walking in. And then you saw someone else followed behind him with another box in hand. Another young man who has a cap on his head with a UK flag on it. He also looks like in his late 20s. The man gave his charming smile to you as he nodded in greetings.
“Ma’am.”
You smiled and nodded back before watching him following the man who was in front.
And then to your surprise, you saw another man. A man who is taller than the first two that came in. A brown short hair, with brown eyes and is also wearing a black mask covering his mouth and nose. He looked down on you, seeing you with quite a surprising look.
“Madame.” His deep British accent had softly gone through your ears. As you weren’t expecting to hear that kind of tone.
You slowly nodded at him and watched him pass by as he followed the other two into the kitchen. You quickly follow as well before peeking inside to see your two best friends are talking with the two boys. It seems like that man with a mohawk was flirting with Sally while the man in the cap was just talking with Rebecca.
You just smiled a bit to see them getting along so quickly. So you stepped inside as you saw the tall man putting the boxes down on the floor. You were staring at him for a bit as you took a good look at him.
He stood up and looked at his buddies as he started to tell them to stop flirting.
You smiled a bit to see the two boys were just being embarrassed of how that dark brown hair man was calling them off. Before you noticed him looking in your way.
“Sorry ‘bout those two. They can be VERY addicted to seeing pretty ladies. Mostly my very dumb friend named Johnny over there.” He said as he pointed at the guy with a mohawk behind him.
You giggled to hear the mohawk man calling out to him.
“OI! I am NOT dumb!”
“You are. With your LAME pick up line.”
“Like you can do any better, Si?”
“I can do 10 times BETTER than your corny ass line.”
You couldn’t help but giggle so much and even your two friends also started giggling and laughing with you. While the man with the cap just sighs and shakes his head before walking over to stop the two.
“Hey hey hey! Not in front of the ladies. That’s a very bad first impression AND bad luck, you know?” He turned to face you and your friends as he started to rub behind his head. “Apologies ladies, we’ll be heading out now.”
Rebecca looked saddened all of a sudden when he said that. “Aaaaw…already?”
He smiled a bit at her and nodded. “Yeah. We still got more deliveries to take care of.”
The two girls looked sad to hear that they’re going to leave. Until that man named Johnny had an idea.
“Hey! I know that we just met. But the boys and I are free tonight. Do you want to join us?”
You glanced to see the girls were looking excited as you smiled a bit. So you looked at him and shook your head. “Sorry. I’m a bit busy tonight since I’ll be serving the food.” Then you started to walk towards your girlfriends as you placed both of your arms around their shoulders each. “Buuuuuuuut my friends are available tonight. Right girls?”
The two ladies looked at you in shock as you had lost your MIND.
“Uuuh…WHAT are you doing?” Sally whispers to you.
“Yeah, don’t you need our help? There will be LOTS of people coming to your booth.” Rebecca also whispered to you as she agreed with her friend.
Which she is not wrong. Yes, there will be BUNCH of people coming over for food but you handle this before. You're sure that you’re okay with this and it is fine for your two friends to have some fun!
So you started to whisper to them back. “Don’t worry! I got this! You two can go ahead and CHARM your way with these boys while I’ll handle the booth.” You gave them a reassuring smile and a wink. “I’ll be fine. Promise.”
The two girls looked at each other again but with more worried looks on their faces. As they could see your warm smile, telling them that it’s alright, they finally gave in and turned to look at the boys.
“Yeah! We’re available!” Sally said as she smiled at Johnny.
The mohawk man smiled at her with glee. “Awesome! We’ll see you tonight at…?”
You raised your hand a bit. “Our booth will be next to the Ferris Wheel! You’ll meet them there!”
The man with the cap nodded and smiled at them. “Alright then, we’ll be there and…are you sure you don’t want to come?” He asked you as you can see that he’s feeling a bit bad.
You nodded as you gave him a thumbs up. “Sure I’m sure! Someone HAS to take care of the food booth!”
He smiled a bit as he nodded and tipped his cap. “Alright then and also, I apologize for not introducing ourselves. I’m Kyle. Kyle Garrick. But most of them call me Gaz.” Then he put his arm around his friend’s shoulders before patting his chest. “This is John MacTavish.”
He nodded at you and the girls. “You can call me, Soap.”
Sally snickered when she heard that name. “Soap? Why do they call you that?”
“Aye, cause I cleaned up nicely.” He said with a wink.
“Not with your room you’re not.” The tall man with the mask had said while rolling his eyes.
“OI! WHY DO YOU ALWAYS CRITICIZE ME WHENEVER I TRY TO TALK TO A LASS?!?”
“Just trying to save her from going out with a dumb Scots like you.”
“WHO ARE YOU CALLING DUMB?!?”
Everyone started to laugh before settling down as the girls introduced themselves to them before exchanging phone numbers with the two boys. But your eyes had caught onto the tall man who was just looking at the four.
You slowly crossed your arms while rocking back and forth a little on your feet. Before looking at him. “So um…what’s YOUR name?”
He glanced down at you. Looking at you for a good minute before he looked back at his friends and yours. “Simon. Simon Riley.”
“Are you also dressing up for tonight?”
He shook his head. “Not into these Halloween things. Just want to walk around the festival. So I don’t think I’ll be going with those guys. Might make me a 5th wheel with them.” You giggled at that last response. “Ah. I see. Well, if you want. You can hang out with me at the food booth if you’re not going with them. Buuuuut I might be busy.”
He shrugged a bit as he looked at you with his brown eyes. “I don’t mind.”
You couldn’t help but find his eyes a bit intimidating but yet quite kind at the same time.
So they all agreed that they’ll meet at the food booth.
—-----------------------------------------------
Tonight is the night of Halloween. And every child in town is running around, taking a look at these fun events. Along with their friends and families.
While you and the girls on the other hand were REALLY busy selling those goodies that you guys have made. Everyone really enjoys your cooking and baking goods. Not a single person has been missed with their orders.
After a few while, the crowds had started to die down a bit. Which you three had FINALLY taken a break for a while.
“Damn…It almost feels like you have put a magic charm on these foods! I mean, did you SEE how many people just came?” Rebecca, who is dressed as a Witch, said with an exhaustion tone in her voice as she leaned back against the counter.
“I KNOW! Fuck man…what is your secret recipe though?” Sally, who is dressed as a Vampire, asked as she looked at you. “The whole TOWN can’t stop buying these!”
You smiled tiredly as you giggled lightly from your friend's compliment. “Well, I do want the people to ENJOY it. And it’s no secret at all! Just a bit of love and viola!”
The two girls just look at each other with an unamused look and look back at you while crossing their arms.
“Bullshits.” They said in unison before laughing with you.
Then you noticed the three boys that you’ve met earlier this morning had walked over.
“Good evening ladies. Don’t you look extravagant.” Kyle, who is dressed up as a wizard, said with a smile to see the three of you. Before he looked over to Rebecca seeing that she’s a Witch. “Ah. I see that you’re ALSO a magical person here.”
Rebecca just giggled. “Indeed I am, my pretty! But we ALL know that a Witch has the powerful potential of cursing anyone in her path!” Saying in her witch voice as she cackled with laughter.
The two just laughed at this.
Soap, who dressed up as a werewolf, then just smirked to see Sally in her Vampire costume. “Awooo~ A vampire is ya?~ Micht wanna be careful with me, lass. Ye know how vampire an werewolf are~”
Sally smirked back at this Scottish werewolf man before leaning in as she poke his chest. “Oh I know~ And I’ll take the risk~”
You rolled your eyes as you saw the two flirting before seeing Simon looking at you. You smiled at him before waving at him softly seeing him just wearing his black hoodie and blue jeans with shoes on.
He waved back a bit before seeing Gaz was nudging his arm. He just rolled his eyes seeing his smirk before walking up to you. He took a look around your booth before leaning on the counter. “Not too shabby. How’s the business going?”
You just smiled while still prepping the food and desserts into the display case. “It went VERY well. And I see you’re not wearing anything?”
“Like I said, not into these Halloween things.”
Before you two continued to talk, you felt a hand on your shoulder as you saw it was Rebecca.
“Okay! We’re gonna go! Now, are you SURE you can handle this? We can still stay.”
You nodded at her before touching her hand. “I’ll be okay. Besides, I have my extra helper over here!” You pointed at Simon.
Your friend saw him nodding at her as she smiled a bit before calling out to him. “Try to help her out will ya?”
Simon just nodded as a response and gave a thumbs up.
Soon the four already walked away. Leaving only you and Simon alone. The two of you don't talk much except just making and selling your food.
Simon was busy mixing the batter before taking a glance at you. You were just giving out some candies to the trick-or-treaters and handing them a bag of goodies. Seeing your sweet smile had really caught his eyes for some reason.
Why does he feel that towards you? You two just met and he also doesn’t want to make you uncomfortable either. He looked back at what he was doing before you finished giving the kids their treats.
You had started to bring out another tray of desserts before looking at Simon. “Hey, you wanna taste this?”
The tall man looked at your direction, seeing you showing the cupcake in your hand. He stopped what he was doing and started to walk over to you. You watched him take it as he pulled his mask down a bit before he took a bite. You were curious about why he was wearing that mask but judging by how quiet he was. You know that he doesn’t want to talk about it which you understand.
“So? How was it?” You asked him with a warm smile feeling excited of how he’ll respond to your baking expertise. But you saw him paused for a moment and he just withdrew the cupcake away from his lips as he stared at it for a bit. “Simon?”
He kept staring at the cupcake for a while as if something had made him feel...familiarize with this dessert. Soon he snapped out when you gently touched his arm. You gave him a worried look as he cleared his throat and pulled his mask back up. “Sorry, your cupcake is delicious. I bet the REST of your desserts are wonderful as well.”
You slowly nodded as you appreciated his words but you still felt a bit concerned for him. “Thank you…but are you alright, Simon?”
The British man was silenced as he kept staring at the cupcake before putting it down. “I’m alright. Just…remembered something.”
“Oh? What is it that you remembered?”
Simon was just looking at you with a loud silence between the both of you. The sound of people chattering and the children’s laughter had clouded out of your hearings. You know something that he wanted to share but is too afraid to even speak. So you just slowly walked over and stood in front of this man.
“Simon?”
“......I don’t want to bore you. And also, it’s just a burden that I have to carry.”
“Do you…wish to talk about it?”
“...No.”
You just gave him a small reassuring smile before taking his cupcake and gave it to him. “Then we don’t have to talk about it. Since I know we just met but I am here to listen.”
Simon had seen you handing his cupcake as he accepted and just stared at it. He sighed before starting to speak. “Your cooking…reminded me of someone that I know so close.”
You just nodded to let him continue.
“She had always made me great treats and it was…delicious.” He said softly before pulling his mask down again and took another bite from the cupcake. He proceeds on talking with you. “That’s all I could tell you. The rest…it’s for me to bear.”
You understood what he was saying and that last sentence had made you feel even MORE sympathy for him. “Of course, I understand. But…it will be better for you to let something out of your chest.” Then you place your hand on his back as you could see him looking at you with his brown eyes.
Damn. You can’t even help but to feel mesmerized by his brown eyes. You cleared your throat as you glanced away. “IF you’re ready to talk about it I mean.”
The two of you were just standing there in silence before you saw Simon was just staring at the cupcake. You then had an idea as you grabbed another cupcake for yourself.
“Hey, I’ll make you a deal. It’s not that kind of deal of you TALKING your problems to me.”
You saw that you caught his attention when he looked at you again.
“And that is what?”
“I can make you any kind of treats or food that someone of yours can make. IF you helped me to make some great buffet for thanksgiving next month.”
Simon just blinked at you when he listened to your offer. He started to chuckle deeply. “Oh love, I don’t know if your cooking skills are HALF as good as someone that I know of.”
You huffed as you crossed your arms. You’re going to make him EAT those words. “I can! And I will! Would you accept these deals?” You started to extend your hands towards him to shake on.
He looked at your hand and then looked at your eyes. He could see that you’re determined to make this for him. He sighed and reached his hand out and shook on yours. “Deal.”
You smiled as you nodded at him. “Alright then! Shall we begin discussing the food that you require?”

FLYING BICYCLES AND LOVESTRUCK MAGIC
genre. fluff. kiki's delivery service au-ish. a lil mutual pining. warnings. reader is basically kiki and sohee is basically tombo lol. some psychic magic mentioned. it's mostly just them being whipped for each other. osono cameo cause she's mvp fr. pairing. sohee x witch!reader. wc. 2.5k. a/n. the riize brainrot is SO REAL. idk why i felt sohee would fit the role of tombo so perfectly hes just sooo 💔💔 i love him guys 🥹
Sohee was 97.62436% sure that he was going crazy when he first saw you flying on a broomstick through the city. Of course, the other 2.37564% that had gone completely insane was fascinated, excited, and probably (definitely) head over heels in love.
He lived in a small town. One where the word went around like a whirlwind as soon as anyone new moved in. It was the most exciting thing that could happen for the residents there, especially when the newcomer happened to be a very pretty girl from a rich city.
Most people would move out of the town when they reached 20 or so to discover themselves. Yet they always seemed to find their way back when they were a bit more settled. It was a rite of passage— a route to adulthood that almost everyone assumed the youth of the town would take. Sohee liked his town, though, and didn’t feel any need to move away. He had already discovered himself enough to know what he wanted to do with his life.
There were exciting things to do that he doubted he would be able to do anywhere else. Visiting the town’s grandpa that ran the old antique shop, getting free candy from the young lady who ran the candy store after the old owner had passed away, seeing every new addition to the art gallery from the aspiring painters and sculptors in town. And, his favourite activity: investigating the old junk yard for spare parts to make his newest models.
Sohee liked to call himself an inventor. It felt spiffy and official. He showed off every new creation he pieced together with rusted tools and even rustier bits of metal like it was the next world-changing invention. He could spend hours in his dad’s old workshop working with nuts and bolts, seeing what the pieces could make once they came together.
He had been determined to make a flying vehicle for years now. After finding a beautiful old wind turbine in the junkyard when he was 14, he had started planning mock-ups for a bicycle. He would attach the turbine in front of it so that when you pedalled, the turbine spinned. The hope was that with enough inertia, you could eventually lift off the ground with it. He was skeptical that it would actually work, though.
He hadn’t officially talked to you yet. You had been in town for a couple days now, staying with the couple that ran the local bakery. Sohee thought you were absolutely beautiful from the moment he first saw you. He had been riding his bicycle past the bakery on his way to the carpenters to pick up some tools. One glance at you through the window had him abruptly pushing on the brakes, eyes going wide.
Maybe it was a bit of an exaggeration, but you looked like an angel. Or a goddess. Or a fairy. Sohee couldn’t decide which one, but he knew that you were the most stunning person he had ever seen. Since that day, he kept running into you in town, but his own nervousness had stopped him from talking to you properly. He had held a few conversations; enough to know your name and age, but clearly not enough to know that you could fly through the air.
Now, he was staring wide-eyed at the clouds, watching you soar just beneath them so effortlessly. He craned his head to watch you as long as he could before you disappeared behind the clock tower.
“Woah…” He whispered, jaw dropped in an awestruck expression.
“She’s quite the girl, isn’t she?”
Sohee turned to the side, nodding in agreement with what Osono, the bakery lady, had said.
“She’s amazing. Do you know how she does it?” He asked with a grin.
“Haven’t you heard by now, Sohee? She’s a witch! She chose our town to do her witch training.” Osono explained.
“That’s incredible! I didn’t even know witches actually existed! Do you know what she’s training in?!” Sohee felt like his brain was spinning at a speed incomprehensible to mankind. He kept thinking of more and more questions about you. He’d never seen anyone quite like you before, and the more he learned, the more intrigued he became.
“She said she’s still figuring it out— but she’s interested in love readings. For now, she’s using her flying skills to help me and the town. She’s an excellent delivery girl!” Osono beamed.
“Love readings…?” Sohee pondered the idea on his way back home. The next day, he found himself at the town’s library, scanning through the small section on magic and witches with more focus than he had put to almost anything.
//
“Miss witch, I’d like to get a love reading!” He announced happily, swinging open the door to the bakery where you were seated at the counter, seconds away from falling asleep due to the lack of customers. You jerked up at the sound of Sohee, immediately knowing that it was him from his playful nickname for you— miss witch.
“Really!? You want one!?” You jumped up from your seat and rushed around the counter to be face to face with him. Sohee had become your first friend in town. After he had seen you fly that day, he discovered the key to talking to you without being awkward. You could fly and he wanted to fly. There was a perfect common interest.
You loved talking to Sohee. He was infinitely more interesting than the kids back at your old home, most of which were stuck up and rude. Sohee was bright and kind and full of imagination and dreams and inspiration. He never got bored of you talking about being a witch, and you never got bored of hearing about his new inventions. You had never clicked so well with someone before.
There was also the fact that he was the prettiest boy you’d ever seen. But that was… less important. You had a bad habit of crushing on boys without it ever going anywhere. You were determined not to repeat that disaster a sixth time.
“It would be my great honour to be your very first customer.” Sohee said dramatically, making you giggle with excitement.
“Well, then, dear client, shall we go to my witch lair? I can’t perform the reading anywhere else.” You responded, matching his dramatics perfectly. He grinned and nodded and you grabbed his wrist to lead him upstairs.
“It’s a bit messy— give me a second!” You rushed around your small attic space that Osono had been so kind to let you stay in for free. You hurriedly put away the food that you had gotten for breakfast and shoved some odd trinkets under your bed so that they were hidden. Sohee just watched, his heart racing. He really needed to get that under control.
“Where’s my witching supplies- Aha! Here it is!” You held up a small purple box, bejewelled with gold ornaments. It looked ancient and rusty— exactly the type of artifact that Sohee loved.
You set down a thin blanket on the wooden floor before taking out the little baubles and setting them in the middle of the fabric. Sohee sat on one end, and you on the other.
“Alright, mister… I have a series of questions, but for this to work, you must answer them completely honestly. If you lie even once, the whole thing will be messed up!” You had put on your mother’s joke witches had for fun. The sight made Sohee laugh, especially when you deepened your voice to sound old as you explained how things would work.
“I got it. I’ll tell only the truth.” Sohee promised.
“Once you answer all the questions, I’ll flip over this blank card. If everything works out, the name of the person you love the most will slowly appear before your eyes! Now… Are you ready?” You quirked an eyebrow, staring seriously at him even though on the inside you were about to burst with excitement. It was your dream to open your own love reading business. You just weren’t completely sure if you were good enough at it yet.
Sohee nodded eagerly, a mix of excitement and nervousness stewing inside of him. He wasn’t sure exactly what to expect, so he carefully followed along with what you did to make sure he didn’t mess anything up. You closed your eyes and he followed suit.
The questions you asked started out simple, without Sohee needing to deliberate before delivering the honest answer to you. But as they went on, they got more complex and more personal. Sohee had never doubted your abilities as a witch, but he hadn’t expected you to be able to see right through him.
“Last question…”
“Mhm?” Sohee could feel his stomach twist in nervousness, but he breathed steadily to try to calm his nerves.
“Do you believe yourself to be in love with someone at this current moment?”
Sohee swallowed slowly, his mouth and throat feeling parched all of a sudden. He took his time to think through it, though the answer was almost painfully obvious. He had never been more in love in his entire life.
“Yes.” He finally answered with certainty, a slight burden lifting off his chest. It was almost as if he was confessing to you in a way— and though he didn’t say it directly, it still eased some of his anxiety. He opened his eyes hesitantly after answering to see your face scrunched in concentration.
“No way-” You opened your eyes as well, frowning in confusion and looking up to Sohee with a questioning gaze. “By any chance are you…?”
“Huh?” Sohee blinked, confused at your actions. You shook your head quickly and stared down at the blank card.
“Are you ready?”
“Yeah.”
The air felt a little tense as you slowly flipped over the black card. You held your hand over it for a few seconds, shielding it from Sohee’s curious view. You lifted your hand carefully once you were sure it had worked and watched as the name slowly appeared on the card.
You sat in frozen shock once you read the name on the card, struggling to process what you had seen. Your name was displayed on the card, clearer than ever. There was no way that anyone could possibly mistake it or misread it, but you just couldn’t believe it.
“It- we- we must’ve messed it up somehow! There’s no way that’s- It must’ve got me confused, right!?” Sohee spluttered helplessly, his entire face a bright shade of red. Somehow in his calculations, he didn’t expect for the card to expose him that horrendously, right in front of you as well.
“I don’t think we did it wrong, though… Everything felt… right.” You said quietly. “Do you… like me?” You could barely get the words to come out of your throat.
There were some parts of your magic that you still needed time to trust completely. Flying had always been easy in that aspect; you either flew or you didn’t. But when it came to love readings, you wondered how likely it was that your magic had gotten messed up. You liked to be whimsical and believe that your love readings could be completely accurate, but your confidence had never been as low as in this moment.
However nervous you were feeling, it was a thousand times worse for Sohee. You had a small inkling of hope— hope that he would say yes. But for Sohee, he could only think of the possible rejection. Or the even worse possibility that this would tear apart your friendship.
“Yes…?” Sohee whispered out to you. You had never heard him this nervous or quiet before.
“Really? Are you sure?” You asked again, this time with a little more voice and hope surging in you. Sohee must have picked up on the hopeful tone, as he answered yes again, this time with more certainty.
“Then the reading wasn’t wrong?! You actually like me?” Your hand clasped over your mouth before you could ramble anymore in your state of disbelief.
“What about you? I mean… you probably don’t, right? But maybe…?” Sohee couldn’t help but be hopeful for your response, but he held himself back from being too expectant on the response he was dreaming for.
“Do I like you back?! Of course I do- It wasn’t obvious before now?” You stuttered in disbelief.
“I mean- I hoped you did, but I couldn’t be sure.” Sohee clarified. The tension in the room had completely dissipated by now, and your smiles were slowly coming back as the reality settled in.
“I’ve liked you since I moved here, I think. Didn’t you ever question why we kept running into each other before we became friends?”
“No? I just thought it was a lucky coincidence.” Sohee admitted with a laugh.
“It was because whenever I spotted you biking around town, I’d land in a street nearby and pretend like I was always walking that way just to cross paths with you!” You corrected stubbornly. Now that it was clear that the feelings were mutual, you wanted him to know the effort that you went through to get closer to him.
“I also started going past the bakery on my way home. It added an extra 5 minutes to my route, but it was worth it to see you working through the glass window.” He scratched the back of his neck shyly, mirroring your smile when your eyes brightened at hearing his confession.
“So… what now?” You questioned suddenly after a prolonged silence of both of you trying to stare at the other while simultaneously trying your best not to look obvious.
“Would you go out with me?” Sohee asked excitedly. “Oh shoot- I should’ve gotten flowers first. Wait here- I’ll be quick!” He stammered, rushing out of the room before you could stop him. He was gone only long enough for you to giggle in delight while you cleaned up the supplies you had laid out. Your witching skills had come in handy in the best of ways.
He was out of breath by the time he burst open the door again, but his eyes had never glimmered any brighter. He held a bouquet of pink and white roses, a little squished on one side from the rush he had been in.
“You know you didn’t have to go buy these…” You bit back a smile, taking the pretty flowers from his hands.
“My mom always said the best way to charm a lady was with flowers.” He panted and grinned at you cheekily when you shot him a look. You smiled as you sniffed the sweet scent of the roses. Sohee was about to say something else, but you pulled him into a tight hug before he could start, the unexpected gesture knocking all words he had into another dimension.
“I really like you, Sohee.” You whispered, your smile twinkling as you rested your head on his shoulder.
He took a second to get over the shock of you hugging him before he was wrapping his arms around your frame as well, mumbling back, “Me too.”

I have found myself drawn to three scenes and honestly, I would hope to see more like them...
1st. The ultrasound scene in Immaculate, not the beginning one but the last one when she is being held prisoner, is bed ridden and clearly full term. I wish that they had used the "delivery" room we were introduced to when she was branded. I would have liked to have seen either a natural birth or c-section. I know we were given one but I'd have liked more focus on it and not just seen her face.
2nd. Technically two scenes, the belly expansion and c-section in The First Omen, usually I'm not a fan of belly expansions but this one has me hooked.
Admittedly, I would have enjoyed to have seen a natural birth like we did earlier in the film, seeing her wheeled into a medical room instead of a dark stone chamber. Still, the facial expression were spot on in the c-section scene, you could feel the panic.
3rd. The forced artificial insemination scene from The Devil's Conspiracy. I love how its more medical though the artificial insemination scene from breeder is a little more detail so it would have been nice to maybe have a close up of the ultrasound machine. I do like how the movie had an ultrasound and birth scene though in itself it was short, could have been made longer in my opinion and preferably in a medical setting.
A few mentions which I do find myself watching over and over again; the birth scenes from The Mayfair Witches and Dead Night. I also like the ending scene from Anthropogus II

I just read the luca with a modern reader and it was so nice! Could we get a modern reader with Andrew?
heck yeah you can!
-Andrew is a tougher cookie to crack on this one because he acts like he super does not give a fuck. But, er, he acts like he doesn’t give a fuck about a lot of things. That’s kind of his go-to for new arrivals. He’ll do a bit of mocking maybe, but otherwise he just observes them, scowling, trying to judge their character from a distance.
-Your saving grace is how the other people in the manor will react to your arrival. Because, while there are some good eggs like Luca, there’s obviously going to be some extra distrust and apprehension around someone from a whole different era. You have very different educations, mindsets, opinions…things like that would get people labeled as a heretic or witch in most of these peoples’ times. If Andrew sees you being treated like you’ve already done something wrong just by existing, it endears him to you just a tiny bit. Just enough to give you an opening.
-Maybe someone says something to you at dinner—we all know Andrew’s sensitive to the word “monster”—or heaven forbid even breaks something that got brought along from home. Well, obviously you’d be upset. And Andrew can’t resist taking offense on your behalf. He’s not likely to do anything for you in the moment, but he makes a mental note. And the next time you see Andrew alone, even just passing each other in the hall, he’s…nice? Nice for Andrew’s standards, anyway.
-And after that he seems to curb with attitude with you more. It’s still a bit of a stretch to call him friendly, but it’s clear he’s making some effort towards correcting that. He stands by you more, sits near you at meals, close enough that he can hear you whenever you talk even if you’re quiet. He doesn’t say much himself, but the eye contact has to count for something! He’s listening, even if no one else is.
-After a bit, he takes some interest in your phone. It’s a really big leap in technology for him, so don’t expect much in the way of understanding from him. Teaching Andrew cellphone terminology is ten times worse than teaching your grandma how to send an email. But, uh, he thinks your magic rectangle is…nifty? Definitely not monster-ish at all.
-If you have media saved to your phone, 85% of the time he’s not a fan. He doesn’t understand modern humor at all, thinks animated shows look weird, and so much of our culture in general is overstimulating to him. Some of the music is alright, though. The calming stuff. Low-Fay? Is that it?? He thinks texting seems very handy, too, and would nose through old conversations with your friends and family if you gave him half a chance. Yes, it’s kind of an invasion of privacy, but it helps him feel a little more connected to you, to the life you had. If you ever express sadness at not being able to text anymore, he’ll take a page from Victor (baddumtss) and start slipping you written notes more often. That’s a little like texting, isn’t it? Wick is pretty fast on the delivery, too.
-He likes to use the flashlight on your phone and call Kreacher “obsolete” because fuck that guy.
-If you, for some reason, have light-up shoes…he’s lowkey enamored. Andrew is so used to getting around at night, digging those stupid tunnels despite being claustrophobic, and it’s such a hassle to have to carry a lantern and try to dig at the same time! …but your shoes have lights on them? Ingenious. Just, uh, maybe Luca can make them a little brighter?
-Yoga pants and skin-tight muscle shirts are the bane of his existence. It leaves nothing to the imagination. Are you doing this to him on purpose? Teasing him?? What do you mean that’s normal casual wear??? Put on a cloak!

Miss Fenwick,
We are the proud Art Society of the Young Witches and Wizards here at Hogwarts and we would like to invite you to our FIRST EVER exhibition! We have 1st years' talents on display for everyone willing to dive into the intricacies of Arts: Painting, Dancing, and Music are all here! Come support our youngest expressing their inner selves 🖌️🎨💃🕺🎶🎼
With respect,
First Year Witches and Wizards
[The letter is written by some kids, with a few typos here and there but nonetheless charming. They forgot to mention where and when it will take place so there is certainly no obligation to go. But wouldn't the children feel sad if Allegra ignores the invitation? Nobody is that heartless.]
[Although the location of the exhibition was unmentioned in the invitation, it was nonetheless, not unknown to Allegra, thanks to her socially encyclopaedic best friend. As the hall slowly dwindled in visitors, a hawk owl gracefully swept through the doorway, dived, and smoothly deposited a cloth-wrapped bundle on top of an empty table. He gave a perfunctory hoot to alert of his delivery and left the hall as swiftly as he came.
The knot that held the package together slipped free, and the fabric fell away to reveal an assortment of sweets from Honeydukes together with a generous stack Cauldron Cakes and Pumpkin Pasties. A note rested on the top of the tower of confectionary:]
My sincere apologies for not being able to make it to the exhibition, but my congratulations to you all the same. I have known a young wizard who also took to the arts from a young age, and he was and still is particularly fond of sweet treats. It Is, therefore, my hope that this array of confection will re-energise you all after such a busy day.

Spook House (Dr. Spencer Reid x OC Coworker) *Halloween Special* 🎃
Summary: Penelope is too scared to go into a spook house and she gets some encouragement from one of their coworkers (Cindy), who seems to take a liking to a certain boy genius. Rossi and Hotch try to give them a push.
“But they’re so much fun!” I beg Penelope as I hand over her daily coffee.
“No, they’re over-the-top nightmares that will give me a heart attack!” She argues and swivels back in her chair.
Just then Rossi walks in. “What’s this all about?”
“Garcia’s too scared to go into a spook house,” I grin. “Halloween’s my favorite holiday and I thought we could do a team activity.”
“Really, you like Halloween? I couldn’t tell.” Rossi’s obviously being sarcastic in regards to me and Garcia’s outfits: she’s wearing an orange pumpkin shirt, a hairpiece made of black and green feather and ribbons, and black and white oxford pumps. I’m wearing a black corset-style dress with purple patterns, black victorian boots, and a dark purple witch hat.
“Actually that might be a good idea,” Rossi comments. “We haven’t had a- what was it you called it Garcia? A ‘team-building extravaganza’ in a long time. And I just happen to know of a charity haunted house that’s set up a few blocks down from me.”
Penelope groans. “Sure, the coffee girl gets a crazy idea to scare me to death and you go along with it.”
“Hey! I might just be the coffee runner around here, but I still have good ideas!”
“You’re more than a coffee runner, Cindy.” Reid catches our conversation and gives me a warm smile. He always makes me feel so important.
“Yeah, Garcia wouldn’t survive without your coffee deliveries,” Morgan jokes from outside.
By now the rest of the team has shown up, looking confused by our festive attire.
“I thought Halloween was this weekend?” Prentiss asks.
“It is, but Garcia and I have been dressing up like this all month.”
“My favorite outfit was your vampire dress,” Reid comments. “I like how you included the historically accurate Victorian brooch with your choker.”
Morgan scoffs. “Seriously? You’ve been dressing up all month?”
“Leave it to Reid to notice the strange and unusual,” I chuckle and share a look with Garcia. “I guess since we dress so differently on a daily basis nobody seems to observe when we wear holiday clothes.”
“I was just telling them about a decorated house that donates its profits to the local fire department,” Rossi tells Hotch.
The stern leader actually seems, what’s the expression? Excited. And when Hotch is excited then we all better enjoy it while it lasts.
“I haven’t been to a spook house since college. Maybe this team activity is a good idea, that is if Garcia is up for it.”
We all give the blonde computer geek hopeful looks, even Reid whips out his pleading puppy eyes.
“So whaddya say, Penelope?” Morgan smirks. “Too scared to try something new?”
She rolls her eyes and waves her hands at him. “Fine. I will try it, but only because Cindy wants to do a team-building extravaganza and because there’s a bakery that makes the best pumpkin cookies on the way there.”
“That’s good enough for me!” I celebrate and clink coffee mugs with Reid, who’s sharing the same smile. Perfect! A Halloween team activity in a spook house and spending time with Reid! It’s like Christmas came early!
In the next few days we buy tickets and make plans to meet at the bakery. Friday finally comes and so far fate’s been kind to us because there’s been no new cases. Odd since it’s this time of year. Before we leave the office Rossi calls me back and asks me to meet him at his house before we meet the others.
“Why?” I ask with an arched brow.
“Just to talk, nothing too serious.”
Something tells me he’s downplaying whatever it is he wants to talk about, and it makes me wonder if he’s having any problems with his exes. After parking my bike in Rossi’s driveway he meets me outside and hands me a flashlight.
“Just being prepared. Never know how dark it’s gonna be. I see you’ve come appropriately dressed?”
Indeed, I’ve come dressed as a bloody nurse.
I roll my eyes. “It’s only once a year! Why pass up the opportunity?” We both climb into his car. “Now will you tell me what’s wrong? Is someone in trouble?”
The Italian agent shakes his head and starts the engine. “No, no. I just want to talk about how you’ve been, Cindy. How’s the family?”
Oh. “Everyone’s fine, honest. My brother’s almost through with college, and the folks are having fun in Arizona. We keep in touch, and I’ve kept busy with my job at the office and my community theatre group. But why the sudden interest? Have I done something wrong?”
“Do you always assume something’s wrong?” Rossi chuckles. “It’s just that, Hotch and I were talking earlier…”
“Uh-oh, that’s trouble,” I smirk.
“Haha, very funny. We were talking and were wondering if by chance you and Reid might like each other.”
My train of thought flies off the rails and crashes, burning any rational thoughts from my head and causing me to clutch my flashlight much more tightly.
“W- What would give you that idea?”
“Well you two seem to really enjoy each other’s company,” he explains as he starts driving.
I nod slowly. “Yes, we both enjoy shared topics. And both of us are not currently in a relationship.”
“Why not give it a shot?”
“Because Reid’s never expressed any interest. I feel we both think our work comes first, and I don’t want to jeopardize our relationship for some silly romantic idea.”
Rossi grins and pulls up next to the bakery, “Ouch, I think the air just got colder. Don’t take it the wrong way Cindy, but you and Reid deserve to find a good relationship. You’re both young, don’t rush into it and things will fall into place.”
We both get out and spot the others waiting inside, and seeing Reid’s cute Halloween tie paired with a purple vest almost makes me forget how flustered I am. Before we get to the door I give Rossi a pointed look.
“Now please promise me you won’t blab to Reid about my stupid crush?”
He opens the door, causing a bell to sound with a cheerful ding! And allows me inside. “On my honor.”
Inside the bakery there’s Halloween decorations everywhere, as well as a big display with fall-themed baked goods.
“Hey, guys!” Garcia scurries up and hands me a muffin. She sees my bloody makeup and her eyes widen. “Very… gory costume, Cindy. Anyways, you’ve got to try their pumpkin muffins! They’re just as good as the cookies! I swear this place can put pumpkin in anything and make it taste like Heaven!”
“Welcome welcome, Cindy and Rossi.” Prentis says from a booth. “All you’ve missed is the past 15 minutes of Penelope getting us all hyped on a sugar high. Ready to get scared?”
Rossi leaves to go chat with Hotch, making me double-think what they’re saying.
“You betcha! I’m guessing JJ’s trick-or-treating with Henry?”
“Yeah, she says she’s sorry for missing the team activity but will make it up to us,” Reid says as he walks up. “Nice costume, by the way. I like how you’re using a well-known comforting profession and changing it to be scary.”
Thankfully the blood covers my blush and I nod. “Yes, plus it’s a warm costume so I won’t freeze. I really like your tie!”
Reid smiles and I feel my heart skip. “I thought of you when I picked it out. I figured since it’s Halloween I’d try to dress up too, but I can’t compare to you and Garcia’s fashion style.”
The computer geek herself is wearing a daisy headpiece, and is getting anxious.
“So are we ready or not? I just want to get this over with.”
“Steady, daisy. We’re going.”
Morgan starts corralling us out the door, with Rossi and Hotch following in the back. I really hope Rossi kept his promise. It doesn’t take long to get to the spook house and I can tell we’re getting close on account of all the screams getting louder. Penelope notices too, but I give her arm a squeeze to show support and she walks straight to the entrance with her head held high. Aside from providing comfort for her, I’m also enjoying watching Spencer point out all the different special effects.
“Wow! Look at the fog detail! And those blood stains! Isn’t it cool, Garcia?”
“Yup. Very scary.”
“Come on, Penelope. It’s not that bad-”
Suddenly a shrieking banshee flies out from the corner and we all scream, causing Penelope to cling to Morgan for dear life.
“What is wrong with you people?! Why can’t you find fun in something more sane like movie marathons?”
“You wouldn’t like those either,” I grin sinisterly. “Insidious isn’t really your type of movie, Garcia.”
We keep walking, with Prentiss and Reid leading the pack while Penelope and Morgan stay safe in the middle and I’m left to trail behind with Hotch and Rossi. But I can’t help but feel a little disappointed. Seeing Spencer excited about Halloween is really adorable, but I must admit that I wish he’d show a little similarity towards my feelings for him. It’s just like I told Rossi: work comes first. Besides, why would Spencer be interested in a relationship with a coworker? Most times those relationships aren’t as sturdy anyway.
“Something wrong, Cindy?” Hotch asks.
“Yeah, just a little tired. I think I’m gonna check out the haunted asylum room.”
“Ok. Meet us outside when you’re done.”
I’m internally grateful for his understanding and walk off to the sounds of moaning mental patients…
Reid’s POV
Wow, this place is amazing! I was never really into spook houses growing up, however after seeing how exhilarating they can be I might make it a yearly routine! I know it’s all fake but it’s really fascinating to see all the talent and detail that goes into it.
Once we reach the exit I look at Garcia with a devilish grin. “Not too scary, huh?”
She’s pale in the face and nearly squeezing Morgan’s arm clean off. “I am never doing that again! I’ll stick to binge-watching cat videos and eating cherry chocolate!”
I look around for Cindy to compare opinions, but can’t seem to find her.
“Where’s Cindy?”
“I think she got lost,” Rossi says. “She was right behind us.”
We all look back at the dark pathway filled with shrieks and screams and Garcia starts to panic.
“Oh, no. I am not leaving her to be trapped in that spooky place! Go get her, Reid!”
My mind does a double-take. “Um- why?”
“Because you’ve had a crush on her for months and I’m too chicken to go back in! This will be the best time for you to tell her how you feel- during moments of unknown terror.”
Morgan frowns. “Garcia, you do realize a haunted house is very low on our scale of scary right? All this is just decorations and people in costumes.”
“It is people wearing way more makeup than I am, which is scary enough, and getting in my personal space!” She ushers me forward and points to the entrance. “You go get her Reid, and I will stay here being protected by the dashing Agent Morgan.”
The rest of the team doesn’t argue and keeps giving me hinting looks, which means it’s up to me to go get Cindy. Part of me is actually looking forward to spending time alone with Cindy- but I won’t let her know that. She wouldn’t be interested in me romantically- it’s not professional. Right?
I make my way backwards through the haunted house and when I turn a corner I enter a room we never went through: a haunted asylum.
“Die! Die! Die!” A shrieking voice screams and a wailing figure sprints towards me and I fall backwards into a pile of hay bales. I bump my head and it takes me a moment to fully register the sinister-looking shadow.
“Oh my gosh! Spencer, are you ok?” The figure kneels down and helps me sit up. “Does your head hurt?”
The voice is familiar. “Cindy? That’s you?” My eyes start to adjust to the dark and start to recognize the bloody nurse. “I thought you got lost.”
She shakes her head and keeps addressing my wound. “No, I told Hotch and Rossi I’d check this room out. I chatted with one of the workers and they said they wouldn’t mind if I helped scare them for a while. It’s fun!”
“But why did you leave the team? I thought you were having fun. Are we too boring?”
Cindy’s POV
I look away and try to seem occupied with the flashing lights dancing on the wall, but Reid sees right through it.
“You can’t ignore this, Cindy.” He pokes my nose. “I’ll keep pestering you until next Halloween. Now please tell me what’s wrong.”
Oh, how can his puppy eyes make me so compliant?!
“It’s not the team, it’s… something I have to work out on my own.”
“I know you, Cindy. You’ll beat yourself to the bone and never ask for help but that’s not healthy.” He takes my hand and it’s all I can do not to melt on the spot. “Please let me help.”
“You can’t help Spencer because you’re my problem,” I groan. There, I said it!
The brown-eyed geek gets a confused look. “Did I do something wrong?”
Do I have to humiliate myself further and spell it out for him?!
“I love you, you stupid profiler! I’dve thought you’d figure that out by now! I just guessed you don't want anything to do with non-professional relationships so I’ve kept my distance.” I get up from the floor and stomp my foot in anger. “But you make it so hard when you’re so adorable and so nice to me!”
Spencer doesn’t say anything, he just stared at the floor with a lost gaze and his mouth pressed in a straight line. I’m almost too sure I’ve crossed a line and curse myself for being so pathetic. How could I ever think he’d feel the same?
“And now I’ve probably ruined our friendship and made things weird, and I’m so sorry- I’ll just go home. You can tell the team I wasn’t feeling too good-” I go to walk out of the room but then a gentle but sturdy hand grips my hand and I realize Spencer’s caught up with me. “Reid what are you-?”
But I can’t finish because all of a sudden Spencer tenses up, leans in and presses a soft kiss against my lips. Nothing deep, just the whisper of a kiss just in case I don’t like it. So considerate.
He pulls away and at first I think he regrets it, but when I open my eyes he’s got the same anxious expression as I do.
“I didn’t think I’d ever be brave enough to do that,” he whispers. “Cindy you have no idea just how much I care for you. But I also thought you’d never want a romantic relationship, and it’s been so hard not to tell you.”
His confession sends a soft smile spreading over my face and we both chuckle.
“I guess miscommunication is to blame,” I say with a shrug. “Though I thought you weren’t the touchy-feely type like me.”
Spencer rolls his eyes. “Do you have any idea just how many germs are passed through kissing? If I’m kissing or holding hands with anyone it will only be you, Cindy. I… I love you too.” He dares to lean in again and rests his forehead against mine. “And I also notice you try not to call me by my first name. Why’s that?”
My face reddens but thankfully it’s too dark for Spencer to see. “Because… I thought if I said it too much then I’d never think of you as just a coworker. I guess I just used your last name to trick myself into not loving you… but it didn’t work.”
Spencer leans in impossibly closer and whispers into my ear: “Call me Spencer. I love how you say my name.” My heart nearly faints as he leans away and looks at me with curious eyes. “ Sorry that was weird- Um, if you’re up for this, um, whole dating thing, maybe we could catch a movie sometime? Or watch something at your place? Or my place, it really doesn’t matter as long as both parties of the relationship are satisfied-”
I cut off his adorable rambling by grabbing his tie to pull him closer into a deep kiss, one more passionate. Spencer moans in reaction and sets his hands softly on my hips.
“Your place next weekend, Sherlock Holmes marathon? That is unless we get a new case.”
Spencer’s head jerks up and down and he looks as if he just won the lottery. “Y-Yeah! That sounds perfect!”
“Reid! Cindy! You guys back here?” Morgan’s voice calls from the exit.
We both share a look and start walking back, hand-in-hand.
“Guess we better let everyone know we’re still alive,” I smile. “Do you think we should tell them about us?”
Spencer thinks for a minute (I love his face when he thinks!) and then shakes his head. “Sadly I think they’d already know. The team’s know I’ve liked you for months, in fact that’s why they pushed me in to check on you.”
I laugh and squeeze his hand. “Seriously? Rossi asked me earlier if I liked you and said you and I had a shot, but I told him you didn’t think the same. So… does this mean our team set us up for a date?”
Spencer grins and shrugs. “I guess so!”
We make it back to the front and find the others sitting on benches outside.
“There you are! You had me worried sick!” Penelope gushes.
“Not to worry Penelope, it looks like the boy genius is all the company she needs,” Morgan grins wickedly as he points to our intertwined hands. Once the rest of the team notices we all start getting bombarded with questions and teasing.
“Finally! Took you guys long enough.”
“We’ve been waiting forever!”
“Congratulations! When’s the first date?”
Rossi and Hotch don’t say much and give Spencer and I ghosts of a smile, making me think this was their plan all along. Once all the conversations have ceased and we’ve both been tossed around for questioning we decide it’s time to start heading home.
“Happy Halloween, everyone!” Penelope calls as she and Morgan walk off.
I give Spencer’s hand a squeeze. “Guess it’s time to go. See you Monday?”
He smiles. “I’ll be there, coffee girl.”
“I’ll run some coffee made especially for you!” I grin and kiss his cheek one last time.
After everyone’s said goodnight we go our separate ways, and when Rossi and I climb back into his car I give him a curious smile. “You sending Reid after me didn’t have anything to do with what I told you earlier, right?”
The Italian doesn’t answer right away and pulls out onto the road. “I’m guessing this team-building extravaganza worked out alright. You said not to tell Reid, so I told Hotch. We both figured we’d help give you guys a push.”
“A-ha. I see.” Thoughts of seeing Spencer again start to get me excited for Monday, and it feels as if my life’s taken on a whole new chapter. “Thanks, Rossi.”
Leave it to the BAU to analyze my life and help me find exactly what, or who, I want. And what makes it even better is that he wants me too.

I love seeing your bulge in your pants (Bill)
[ Talk Dirty To Me / Accepting ]
Wanda's utterance caught Bill off-guard, to say the least. If his face had more mobility to it, he would have raised his brows in open surprise; as it was, his head lifting and turning to stare fully at her was likely an effective delivery all its own.
Almost immediately, he wondered if he should be regretting such a snap reaction... or if it was something Wanda was looking for. If she'd meant to capture his attention in this fashion, then her mission was most heartily accomplished. The little smile on the human witch's face suggested that she hadn't spoken out of turn, that it had been no mistake... but the red shade of her visage was more than just her magic.
He glanced down, and belatedly realized that he was standing in profile, relative to her. A demonstration of the aforementioned bulge had not been his intention, but that evidently had not mattered in the moment.
He turned a little more fully towards her and inclined his head. "Your candor is admirable. And I must assume that because you express love, you must find it... favorable. Though I wonder what allure you might find with it."
He took a step towards her. That single step closed nearly half the distance between them. "Is it the swell of my garment which draws your eye? Or is your imagination stoked as you consider what lies beneath?"

Here are some miscellaneous fanart sketches I’ve made over the past few months some dating back to November. (I might post all the oc art I’ve made over the same amount of time hopeful soon.)
I hope you like them!
Drawing description with bonus notes: (all of them are in drawn in pencil. I thought I should also mention that as well. ☺️)
Image 1 - is Princess Peach from the new Princess Peach Showtime sporting her new ribbon instead of her crown looking to the viewer at a 3/4 angle and shot. She is turned to our left and has her hands pushed flat together up in an excited or hopeful manner with a warm smile. She’s also in her signature outfit. (I’ve just been really excited for this game and wanted to draw her I tried swordfighter peach first and then normal but neither looked as good as I was hoping. But I’m happy this one at least looks nice! ☺️👍)
Image 2 - Is Mitsumi Iwakura from Skip and Loafer where her eyes are looking over her shoulder at a 3/4 angle headshot in the direction of our right. With a big smile wearing her uniform.
(It’s a really cute show and has made its way up to one of my Favorite shows to watch now. I would really recommend it!)
Image 3 - Is Lotte Jansson from Little Witch Academia. Where she is looking over her shoulder with her head fully turned to the right and her body slightly to the left. It is a headshot at a 3/4 angle also wearing the robe from the show.
(Also a very fun and a comforting show to watch especially with some episodes being really enjoyable to rematch and two special/movies? I wasn’t sure who to draw at first and maybe I’ll draw the rest of the cast in the future but I remember drawing this after rewatching it and feeling comforted when I was really feeling down a few months ago.)
Image 4 - is based on the Steven Universe comic draw your comfort characters meme with Descole and Kuromi I drew a month ago. Where Descole is looking down to our right downtrodden in his full Descole outfit (cloak, boa, hat, mask), . 3/4 angle with Kuromi looking vaguely into the distance with her little hand on his arm. Her height is about around his upper arm. The caption is:
Kuromi “I think we’re going to kill this guy Des.”
Desmond “Damn!”
Image 5 - is of Zelkov from Fire Emblem Engage. It isn’t much just a 3/4 angle shot looking to our right with his eyes slightly down with a neutral/ slightly curious expression. From head to the neck. I might finish it at a later date.
(But I wanted to draw him after seeing a funny out of context Zelkov moments video on YouTube and then all of his supports with the characters and just really liking his character. Like what a funny guy and his line deliveries are just ✨👌 extraordinary!)
Image 6 - is Clark Kent from My Adventures with Superman. He is looking hopeful with his head facing to the left over his shoulder, he’s stops from walking to the right. From head to waist shot, 3/4 angle. Wearing his sweater vest and shirt combo and his signature glasses.
(Drew this back in maybe December? When I watching this and it was a really cute show, it was a nice superman adaptation and I like his dynamic with the cast so I tried my hand at drawing him.)
