Do you ever judge people based on if they believe in God or not? I don’t judge people for just believing in God, but I do slightly judge them on how they believe. I’ll leave it at that.
Do you ever brush your teeth in the shower? I have.
Has your printer ever stopped working at the last minute and you had a paper due the next day? What did you do? Definitely. I’ve asked my dad to print things at work before, or I’ve just printed it at school the next day.
Are you sometimes scared to express your opinions in fear of what others might think? Sometimes, yes.
Do you have a girl that is strictly a friend that isn’t related to you that you can go to? I’m confused by the wording of this question.
Have you ever painted your nails on only one hand, forgetting about the other one or getting side-tracked? I have, actually. I used to try to let one hand dry before I did the other and a few times I’d lose interest in painting the other hand by the time that happened.
Have you ever tried sucrets? I have no idea what that is.
Would you date someone that smokes? I have. Mark used to smoke.
What about drinks? Yeah.
Have you ever gone to one of those parties where everyone is falling around drunk everywhere? If I have I didn’t notice.
Are you “the good guy”, or “the bad guy”, or somewhere in between? With the situation I am in right now, my sister and her husband definitely make me feel like the bad guy.
Do you ever erase the numbers off of surveys just because they annoy you? No. I’ve erased entire questions before though.
Person you like shows up at your house: you … We live together, so.
Last person you talked on the phone with? Some lady at work yesterday. She called the wrong number.
Do you think you will have the same best friend a year from now? Yes.
Do you have siblings over the age of twenty-one? Yep, my sister is 37.
Will tomorrow be better than today? Who knows.
What do you hear right now? People are installing heat in our building.
What was the last thing to go into your mouth? Tea.
Do you usually tell people when you’re mad at them? I try to, if it’s really bothering me.
Honestly, how is your heart lately? My blood pressure is a little on the high side.
Do you miss anyone? Yes.
Are you waiting for a phone call? Nope.
If an ex said they hated you, what would you say? My exes are all irrelevant so I don’t really care what they think about me.
What would you do if you found out your most recent ex was in a relationship? Good for them.
What do you think when someone kisses you on your forehead? It’s cute.
What do you usually do right when you wake up? Check the time.
Are you looking forward to anything? Our mini honeymoon to the Wilderness.
How late did you stay up last night? 11:30.
Do you truly hate anyone? Yes.
Would you ever get a tattoo? I have 8 and I’d like more.
In the past forty-eight hours, have you hung out with a girl? My cat, haha.
Were you happy when you woke up today? No.
If someone liked you, would you want them to tell you? No.
Would you rather go back a week or go forward? Back so I can eat crab legs on new years eve again.
Would you ever smile at a stranger? Yeah.
Who was the last person to text you? My neighbor.
What are you doing today? Working, going to the store to get a few things for dinner, going to the gym.
Truthfully, is there someone you used to date that you miss? Nope.
Have you ever gotten burnt by a cigarette? Yes.
Have you ever been so bored that you started drooling on yourself? No.
Do you brush your teeth right away when you wake up? No.
Do you have someone of the opposite sex you can tell everything to? Yeah.
Want to get smashed tonight? I’m good.
What time are you getting up tomorrow? Before 6am, like every work day.
Are you happy with the choices you’ve made? For the most part.
Think back to last June; were you single? Nope.
How did you feel when you woke up today? Tired.
Have you ever made someone laugh when they were crying? Yes.
Describe how you feel right now. Sleepy. Feeling a little under the weather too.
Would you date someone three years older than you? Marry him, even.
Do you prefer to shower at night or in the morning? Either.
Do you think more about the past, present, or future? All of it.
Are you okay with the life you live? Yes.
Could you handle living with the last person you texted? Since the last survey I have now text Kayla. So, I mean, possibly? At this point in our lives we are both in long term relationships so that might not be something either of us were interested in, but I still have this fantasy where all my friends and I live under one roof so we are always close to each other.
Was the last book you read for fun, or was it for some type of assignment? For fun.
Have you accomplished any goals you set for yourself this year so far? It’s January 3rd.
If you could go forward in time and see your life 5 years from now, what would you hope to see? A healthier me and a good relationship with my sister.
Are there still movie rental stores where you live or have they all gone out of business? There are “adult” movie rental stores still haha.
What was the last thing to annoy you or make you upset? They are installing heat in our building and it’s SO loud.
Do you think you would be a good match for your celebrity crush/es assuming you have one? Why? If you don’t have one, who was the last person you saw that you found attractive? I feel like Aubrey Plaza and I would be a great match.
When looking for something to watch on TV do you tend to pick shows you know you like, or try new shows that look interesting even though you’ve never heard of them before? I usually stick to what I know. I’ve been trying to get into new shows. Brooklyn 99 is my latest new show but I haven’t watched it since before Christmas oops.
Have you ever been ditched by someone only to find them out and about with someone else? I found out about it later.

What time did you go to bed last night? 11:30.
Do you watch any reality shows? Sometimes.
Are you more comfortable with men or women? It depends on the person.
Do you think you’re fat? I know I am fat.
Have you ever borrowed money from someone and never repaid them? Probably oops.
Do you have a pet cat? I do!

Why it is Important to Consider Wisdom Teeth Removal in Chandler
Many people aren’t familiar with the methods behind treating wisdom teeth. As they develop later in life than other teeth, they can be difficult to handle. Other than causing a significant amount of pain, these teeth can also mess up the current alignment of your teeth. Here are a few important reasons to have your wisdom teeth inspected by a dentist.
1. Wisdom teeth can cause a great deal of pain.
The potential pain caused by wisdom teeth is one of the most important reasons to have them inspected by a dentist. Nobody should wait until the pain begins to develop to seek help from a medical professional. Although a regular checkup is a great opportunity for a dentist to check for the development of these teeth, it may be necessary to set up an additional appointment. You should schedule an appointment with the dentist right when the teeth begin to develop. Consulting with a doctor before your wisdom teeth develop further can help reduce or eliminate any pain that may develop. This time gives your dentist the ability to make the best decision possible regarding your wisdom teeth.
2. These teeth can disrupt the alignment of current teeth.
With a majority of people using braces at some point in their lives, it is important not to let anything undermine the work of this device. Because of their high prices, braces are often considered as an important life investment. This is especially true for people who benefited greatly from having this correctional device. Unfortunately, wisdom teeth have a proclivity to undo the work that was completed by braces. It is important to visit a dentist as your wisdom teeth begin to develop. These late-bloomers could mess up the alignment of your teeth.
3. Some people don’t have to get their wisdom teeth removed.
Although it may seem like everyone has had their wisdom teeth removed, there are some people who never need to have the operation. In fact, there are particular cases when it is better to leave these teeth alone. This is another important reason to have your wisdom teeth inspected by a dentist. It is advisable to have a professional determine the state of your wisdom teeth. Instead of relying on your own opinion, consulting our dentist can help save you from future pain or an unnecessary procedure. Dentists may even be able to offer you suggestions on how to keep your wisdom teeth healthy or consult you about wisdom teeth removal in Chandler AZ.

Maintaining good oral health is a crucial aspect of overall well-being. Regular dental check-ups and preventative care play a significant role in preventing various dental issues, from cavities to gum disease. In Chandler, Arizona, residents are fortunate to have access to a wide range of dental professionals dedicated to ensuring their oral health. This article delves into the importance of preventative dental care, highlights the role of dentists in Chandler, and provides a comprehensive guide to finding the best dentist in the area.
Tumblr media
Understanding Preventative Dental Care
Preventative dental care encompasses a series of practices and treatments aimed at maintaining optimal oral health and preventing potential dental problems. These measures are proactive in nature and are designed to identify issues in their early stages, preventing them from developing into more severe and costly conditions. The core components of preventative dental care include regular dental check-ups, professional cleanings, proper oral hygiene practices, and lifestyle adjustments.
Regular Dental Check-ups: A Pillar of Prevention
Regular visits to a dentist in Chandler are the cornerstone of effective preventative dental care. Dentists have the expertise to identify early signs of dental problems, such as cavities, gum disease, and oral cancer. Through routine check-ups, dentists can catch these issues before they escalate, saving patients from potential pain and discomfort down the road.
Professional Cleanings for Optimal Oral Health
Professional dental cleanings are an integral part of preventative care. Even with meticulous oral hygiene practices at home, plaque and tartar can build up over time, leading to cavities and gum disease. Dental hygienists in Chandler dental offices are skilled in removing these deposits, ensuring that the teeth and gums remain healthy and disease-free.
Empowering Through Education
Dentists in Chandler not only provide treatments but also educate their patients about proper oral hygiene practices. They offer guidance on brushing and flossing techniques, the importance of a balanced diet, and lifestyle choices that impact oral health. This education empowers patients to take control of their oral health between dental visits.
The Role of Dentists in Chandler
Dentists in Chandler play a pivotal role in the oral health of the community. With their expertise and dedication, they contribute to the overall well-being of individuals by offering a range of dental services that cater to both preventative and restorative needs.
Chandler dentists are highly trained professionals with years of education and hands-on experience. They stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental technology and treatment methodologies, ensuring that their patients receive the best possible care. Whether it's a routine check-up, a complex dental procedure, or cosmetic treatments, dentists in Chandler provide comprehensive services to address various oral health requirements.
Comprehensive Dental Services
Chandler dentists offer a wide array of services, including but not limited to:
Dental Check-ups and Cleanings: Regular check-ups and cleanings are fundamental to preventative care. Dentists in Chandler perform thorough examinations, identify potential issues, and provide professional cleanings to keep teeth and gums healthy.
Dental X-rays: X-rays allow dentists to detect hidden dental problems such as cavities between teeth, impacted wisdom teeth, and bone loss. These diagnostic tools aid in creating personalized treatment plans.
Cavity Fillings: If cavities are detected, dentists can perform cavity fillings to restore the tooth's structure and prevent further decay.
Gum Disease Treatment: Chandler dentists diagnose and treat gum disease at various stages. Early intervention is key to preventing the progression of gum disease, which can lead to tooth loss if left untreated.
Cosmetic Dentistry: Many dentists in Chandler offer cosmetic treatments like teeth whitening, veneers, and orthodontic options to enhance the appearance of smiles.
Restorative Procedures: From dental crowns to bridges, dentists restore damaged or missing teeth, improving both function and aesthetics.
Emergency Dental Care: In addition to routine services, Chandler dentists are equipped to handle dental emergencies. Whether it's a severe toothache, a knocked-out tooth, or a broken restoration, their prompt and expert care can alleviate pain and prevent further complications.

2. Range of Services
Evaluate the range of services offered by the dental office in Chandler. A comprehensive practice that provides both preventative and specialized treatments can save you time and effort in the long run.

3 Things You’ve Always Wanted To Know About Wisdom Tooth Removal
The American Public Health Association estimates that roughly 10 million wisdom teeth are removed from people’s mouths each and every year. Collectively, the cost of dental bills associated with these basic, routine, cut-and-dry extractions exceeds $3 billion per annum.
Before wisdom teeth, also known as third molars, are ultimately removed from people’s mouths, we have 32 teeth. After they’re taken out – in most cases, all four of the third molars are removed – people have just 28 teeth. It’s actually more convenient to not be born with wisdom teeth like some one-third of Americans. To be specific, roughly 35 percent of the modern United States population never had to worry about wisdom tooth removal in Chandler AZ in the first place.
It might be inconvenient for the 85-odd percent of us Americans who ultimately need to get their wisdom teeth extracted from the back of their jaws, though we can prevent tooth decay, having to spend extra time cleaning third molars, bad breath, and discomfort by having our most trusted dentists take them out before they become an issue.
Ever wondered how they’re extracted? Here’s some interesting information about the process.
The Surgical Process
After anesthesia is administered, the dentist cuts into the gum above the wisdom tooth and the second molar. Temporarily, the gum is pulled back to allow the dentist room to work on the tooth. A drill is used to cut the tooth out of the jawbone. Next, a plug is inserted in the cavity that the wisdom tooth was taken out of to prevent a dry socket from forming.
Wisdom Teeth Rarely Grow In Straight
Few people are lucky enough to have their wisdom teeth grow in how they’re supposed to. In most cases, these third molars became impacted, a condition in which wisdom teeth only partially erupt – they might not even break the gumline at all!
Impacted wisdom teeth often grow forward, pressing against the back of the second molars. Less frequently, they grow backward, though they are also liable to grow at a 90-degree angle to the teeth in front of these impacted third molars.
Unfortunately, third molars that are impacted are more difficult to remove than their normal-growing counterparts.
The Three Types Of Anesthesia
Dentists always use local anesthesia, or injections of numbing medicine directly into the jaw or behind the teeth getting cut out. Sometimes, patients are put under using sedation anesthesia. Patients do not feel pain after being sedated, though they might remember portions of the procedure. General anesthesia is the third type of anesthesia; it is administered either by inhalation or intravenous injection and is similar to its sedative counterpart. However, patients don’t remember any part of extractions carried out using general anesthesia.

6 Things To Do For Recovery After Wisdom Teeth Removal in Chandler AZ
The first few days after a wisdom tooth extraction can be uncomfortable. Before you leave the office, you will receive full instructions on how to recover in the best way possible. If you are looking forward to the wisdom teeth coming out in the New Year, here’s a preview of what you can expect for the first few days after surgery.
1. Follow the doctor’s instructions carefully
Every patient’s recovery is different. How fast you recover will depend on your overall health, the extent of the work involved in the extraction, and how fast you normally recover. The dentist will tailor the recovery instructions to your particular case.
2. Use the painkillers as prescribed
So many people think that taking painkillers is a sign of weakness or that they will become addicted to them. The fact is recovery happens faster if you aren’t suffering with unnecessary pain. If the doctor prescribes painkillers, use them as directed. It will make the recovery go easier plus let you sleep and rest properly.
3. Avoid physical activity when possible
Try to keep physical activity to a minimum. The surgical openings will heal faster if they are not pulled or jostled around. If you can, take a few days to rest. Don’t head out to the gym or go for a run. You aren’t on bed rest, but need to avoid activities that might compromise your stitches.
4. Eat soft foods and thin soups
You don’t want to eat foods that require a lot of chewing. Soft foods that you can swallow easily are ideal. Mashed potatoes, puddings, and pureed foods are some options to consider. Thin soups another option. Do not try to consume foods or beverages through a straw. One slip and the straw could damage your surgical wounds.
5. Prop yourself up with sleeping
Use pillows or wedges to prop yourself up when you are sleeping. This will help with your recovery and help keep you comfortable throughout the night. Avoid sleeping in a flat position.
6. Use ice packs to alleviate swelling
You are likely going to have swelling after surgery. Apply an ice pack to the area 15 minutes at a time every few hours. The cold will bring down the swelling and reduce pain as well.

When Is The Right Time To Get Your Wisdom Teeth Removed?
Your dentist says it’s time to remove your wisdom teeth, and you wonder if it’s really necessary. Here are some questions to ask yourself before you get it done and a few things to look for during the process. Some dentists do the work themselves while others refer patients to oral surgeons. Either way, it should only take a few days for your gums to return to normal.
When is wisdom teeth removal in Chandler AZ a good idea?
when a tooth is impacted and causes pain
when a tooth comes in at the wrong angle
when your jaw doesn’t have room for the teeth
when you have cavities or gum disease
What takes place during extraction of wisdom teeth?
It usually takes less than an hour for the procedure to be done in the dental office. The surgeon will start by giving you a local anesthesia, such as Novacaine, in your gums. People who are afraid of dentists may choose to breathe nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, through a mask to relax. After numbing your mouth, the doctor will give you drugs to sedate you through a vein in your arms. You will sleep through the procedure and possibly for an hour after.
If the doctor needs to cut your gums to extract the teeth, he will stitch them shut and pack your mouth with gauze. The stitches will dissolve and fall out within a few days. Wisdom teeth that are not removed may damage the jaw or surrounding teeth, cause gums to get infected, make other teeth crooked, or create sinus problems.
What happens after surgery?
Most people feel discomfort for three or four days, and the gums may take several weeks to fully heal. Follow your doctor’s directions after the surgery and try these tips to relieve pain and help your gums recover:
Use an ice pack to prevent swelling.
Use damp heat for soreness.
Eat soft foods and drink a lot of fluids.
Exercise your jaw by gently opening and closing your mouth.
Take prescribed medication to reduce swelling and pain.
Brush gently on the second day but avoid sore spots.
Rinse gently with salt water.
Don’t use straws because they may cause bleeding.
Don’t smoke.
Don’t eat hard or sticky foods.
