Of course I had to draw this from the official winter newsletter, how could I not? Granted, I am a bit late; Christmas happened and then I got the flu... but the point is that I still managed to draw it though!

I always forget how Short the weathertop "battle" is. Love the movies but they fully failed to capture the vibes of "we are waiting in the darkness and we are scared and SUDDENLY. Really hope they continue keeping on toby fox as a pokemon composer bc g o d. There's a lot of bangers in sv, some he had a part in and some he didn't, but whoever's putting these teams together for the music rn has SUCH good taste

(also I can't stop listening to Toby's sv music lol)

Terapagos' theme is especially good and while I have no idea if he was involved in the arrangement of it or not, it uses multiple leitmotifs of his songs and it's SO GOOD.

(y'all should listen to it if you haven't, it's awesome)

#the person who made team star's music is excellent too (can't remember their name)#and gō inchinose of pokemon bw fame. uuuuugh scarlet and violet has such good music #you get pokemon on main bc it's toby appreciation hours #it uses the tera raid battle theme and also the ai professor battle theme btw. Which toby said were his work in last years winter newslette #I've also seen people say kierans champion battle theme uses the megalovania drums and while it sounds similar in dubious #like... how many kinds of drum sfx can you have really? i don't think that one means much
