PS, sort of prompted by my previous reblog, but i think a lot of people don't actually know about this edition of Windows.

if you have to use Windows, consider using Windows 10 LTSC. it's an OFFICIAL heavily stripped down but fully functional version of Windows 10 meant to use on kiosks and the like.

the only things you'll find preinstalled are Edge and Defender. so you'll need to install a photo viewer yourself for example, you also need to install the Microsoft Store if you want that. there's a script to activate the old photo viewer in my mega folder, linked below.

this is nice though, because it gives you so much more control over what gets installed on your system. it comes with much less ads and spyware than usual Windows, that's for sure.

I'm hosting the English and Norwegian ISOs in my mega folder here, you will also need a tool called MAS, from the official github page here. it's a tool that will license your copy of Windows, for free. (if you're reading this and they're taken down, just message me or look around the internet for them, they're not super hard to find)

there are plenty of guides online detailing how to make a USB installation media with Rufus, and install Windows with that so I won't make this a full on guide, but feel free to message me with questions if you want, I don't mind at all; however I can't promise I can help you with everything within Windows, because I don't use Windows myself. happy computing!
