Solar Vine: What's your morning routine with your F/O?

he's the type to sleep in but he's also extremely clingy so I wake first and just enjoy the cuddles until he also wakes up (or I get hungry/uncomfy and wake him myself). then it's usually breakfast followed by us getting dressed & ready for the day! :3

NipNip: What do you and your F/O like to do to relax and unwind?

it's either going to the angel's share for drinks (wine typically for him and whatever nonalcoholic ones diluc's come up with for me) or going out to starsnatch cliff and playing each other music. another big one is going on flights together, it's always so calming!! :3

🍷 - What was your first date like?

We went flying together! And afterward, we had a picnic together on Starsnatch Cliff. It was really nice getting to fly around and chat with him, and during the picnic portion, we ended up having our first kiss <3

😳 - How does your f/o fluster you? How do you fluster your f/o?

Honestly, we're both easy to fluster and since we're both bards... we know how to fluster each other really easily. Say the right thing, and boom, the other is blushing! We usually fluster each other through words (or songs hehe) but sometimes, it'll be through touch, like kissing the other's knuckles/wrist/palm, etc.

venti being able to tell whenever i'm feeling upset & he'll make me get close (lay w/ my head in his lap, leaning against his shoulder, etc. he's not picky) and he'll play music for me until i feel better

Ooh, a question for me? Thank you! Yes, we do! If we want to be truly alone (or stay inside that day), then April's house is the best location. Otherwise, Windrise is one of our favorite places to be alone together! One of us (or both depending on the day) will be playing music while the other enjoys the weather or writes. We also really enjoy cuddling up in the tree at Windrise (instead of just chilling at the base). There's always the chance of someone else coming to enjoy the space too, which is why I divided it into two answers. Ehe, thanks again for the question! ^-^

A/N: This is just a simple little thing to ease us into this ship (I haven’t really gotten to talk much about my s/i for him yet so here :3) I counted earlier and I have around 42 unposted fics so I might have to up my posting frequency for a bit (watch me immediately not post a story for another week lol) But I hope you enjoy! <3 also the title refers to like distinctive markings on animals not anything suggestive lol

Venti sighs softly, strumming the lyre in his hand idly as he gazes out from Windrise. A sense of calmness washes over him, causing him to smile and to begin properly playing. It's such a beautiful day. Why not celebrate with a song?

The only thing that could possibly make it better were if his beloved showed up. That would be perfect.

His eyes fall shut when he starts to sing and thus he doesn't notice until the song's over that he's gained an audience of sorts. A few various woodland creatures have surrounded him along with the anemo crystalflies that usually are closer to the tree.

Venti giggles and leans back. "Hello." He says softly. "Did you like the song?"

Of course, the only answer he receives are chitters and squeaks, but it makes him grin nonetheless. "I'm glad!"

One of the foxes gets closer and he smiles, holding out a hand for it to sniff. "You're friendly." He says softly, looking over the fox. "And so pretty too…" Its fur is really silky looking, so he's not lying.

The fox chitters softly, seeming to preen at his compliment. It makes Venti giggle. "Can I touch you?" Again, the fox chitters and Venti gently runs his hand over its fur.

Now that it's practically in his lap, he's able to see its markings up close. "Huh? What is this?" Ordinary markings would be fine, but why does it almost look like the anemo symbol is on its back??

The fox chitters, sounding almost like it's giggling at his confusion. It pulls back a bit to look at him and it hits Venti that he's seen those eyes before. "April?" He asks confused.

He blinks and suddenly, he's staring at his beloved, who is giggling at him. "Ding ding ding!" She says, laughing harder at how confused he looks. "Hello? Did you forget? Shape-shifter." She gestures over her body and he groans softly.

"Of course.… So that means the anemo marking was intentional?" He asks and she nods.

"I'm allowed a bit of control over what markings I have when I change forms… Before, I'd go with hearts or stars for fun, but now… I'm a devout follower of the Anemo Archon, what can I say?" She says teasingly, laughing when his face turns red.

"Windblume…" He whines, burying his face into her shoulder. "Though, it is sweet that you want to make it easier for me to recognize you." His voice turns a tiny bit teasing and she huffs, her cheeks growing warm.

"Speaking of, I did really like the song." She says. "Care to play me another?"

"I don't know…" Venti murmurs, bringing a hand up to his face in thought. "I could… Only if I had a pretty singer to accompany me."

April giggles and leans over to kiss his temple. "Of course. Now, pick a song, pretty boy."

"Yes, ma'am!" He salutes her, sending the both of them giggling again. When they calm, he sits up and summons his lyre again to play more music.

After all, how could he refuse a request of his pretty muse?

"Most songs make me think about her... I can't help it! But one that comes to mind is Oh My Love by the Score. Even if everyone else stopped praying to Barbatos, I wouldn't care so long as she's by my side. ('you're the only prayer i need to make me feel blessed' 💚) "

💋 - describe your first kiss (if you've had one) (there was no ring - this was the closest in my emoji keyboard so...)

"It was magical - is that too cheesy?! Ehe, it's true, though! It was after our first date (or during? *shrugs*), but basically, I asked her if I could kiss her. Now, I had been no stranger to giving cheek kisses or forehead kisses, but I'd been wanting to give her a proper kiss for forever! So, when she said yes, I kissed her and it was so lovely! I could write songs about how amazing it was~"

📺 - what's your favorite movie to watch together?

"Anything where we can sing together is my favorite! So, any movie musical or Disney movie! Enchanted is one of our favorites! I love getting to hear her sing along to that one."

one of our favorite things to do is play music together. more often than not, this involves me singing along while he plays the music on his lyre, but we’ve made some pretty duets with both of our instruments together. venti always looks so peaceful in these moments <3

"We do! I adore getting to write her all sorts of things: poems, songs, letters, anything! And she'll write things back for me <3 We're each other's muses. ^-^ As for topics... It's mostly how much we love each other, ehe. Letters are sometimes a check-in if we're far apart, but that doesn't happen too often... Though, she's written letters during those periods when I'm in a deep slumber for me to wake up to and read. I cherish every single one of those."

wine 🍷: what kinds of dates do you love going on with s/i?

"Picnics are my favorite! The lovely feeling of the wind, the sight of the clouds drifting by overhead, getting to enjoy good food and good company! Plus, we'll usually play music for each other or even go flying afterward!! They're truly the best."

teddy bear🧸: when was a time you had a moment of vulnerability with s/i?

"The most important one has to be when I told her my identity as the Anemo Archon. It's kind of a big deal to admit, especially since I normally try to play the part of being a normal bard as much as possible. Thankfully, she took it extremely well!"
