Athena was waiting for him on his open window, as always. She had been debating whether or not to terminate the contract but had decided against it. So now here she stood, black and white wings sprawled behind her, hanging off the window as she waited.

Wilson entered his office, guiding a small and rather unsightly black dog in with him. The man closed the door shortly after they came inside, tossing a treat to the canine after it sat down next to the couch.

He was on his way to his desk when he noticed Athena outside. Raising an eyebrow, he approached the window, opened it, and motioned them inside. "It's been a while." He remarked.

The black SUV rolled across the black gravel of the road approaching the secure building up ahead. The sounds of the city had faded hours ago. Where they were, there was nothing for miles. The sound of the tires overturning stones could be heard over the hum of the engine and the silence in the vehicle itself.

A glance out the window revealed pale blue skies and the sun shining overheard. It was a moderate autumn day, not too cold and not too hot, but somewhere perfectly in the middle.

The truck slowed to a stop as it approached the gate. The driver presented his ID, as well as those of the others in the truck. Inside of the vehicle was Wilson Fisk, a few bodyguards, and his assistant. After their cards were scanned, they were permitted to pass through to the building. They rolled to another stop in front of the double doors in the driveway. There were a few green bushes around the building, each perfectly manicured, a green trashcan off to the side where a few flies had convened. Aside from that there was a parking garage where the SUV would undoubtedly be taken once it was unloaded.

"We'll be back in about an hour, be on standby." Wilson's voice finally cut through the silence as he gave his instruction to the driver. His security team moved out of the truck, doing a once over of the area as Wilson stepped out onto the sidewalk.

They were at a Roxxon research facility just a few miles outside of the city. Wilson had recently began business with the company again after years of going dark on them. This was an opportunistic business decision. One that would benefit him if he gave resources to it's development. Deals had been made, ideas shared (some stolen and improved), and money exchanged. Now, after months of funding and working he was here to see the fruits of such labor.

Nate had climbed through the window of the mayor's office and was sat on a desk when Fisk walked in. He was wearing just a hoodie and jeans and the fact he'd broken in without being seen was a miracle. He seemed very calm considering his situation

Wilson looked over to the boy who was perched on his desk. Despite the stoic expression on his face, the annoyance was clearly reflected in his eyes. "Crime guy?" He scoffed, as he closed the door to the room he had recently entered.

He closed the distance between them, stopping just a few inches away from the desk. "Who are you and what do you want?"

How to begin?

Kaya figured that biting the bullet was best, especially when it came to her father. She had waited, too, for Mary to be there. So, with soft padding, Katherine comes down the steps and to the living room where the news was on. She stands at the doorway, silently waiting for her parents to acknowledge her.

Wilson had an arm wrapped around Mary, holding his wife close to him while the news played on the television in front of them. The reporting of the news anchor had been reduced to background noise while he talked with her. "Well, I do believe that is amongst the things I like best about you." He spoke gently, cupping her cheek with his hand, gently tracing hearts into her face. "Your eyes, much like the rest of you, are beautiful." He smiled at the woman meeting her gaze purposefully, his eyes reflecting every manner of love and adoration he had within him. "It would be a pleasure to be able to gaze into them for the rest of my life." He leaned in, planting a kiss on her forehead.

Just as he moved away, he caught a glimpse of Kaya out of the corner of his eye. He turned his head, now acknowledging his daughter. "Hello, Katherine." He greeted gently.
