Time past by and you couldn't stop wondering why they were talking about you! It's not like you actually knew them. Your eyes lit up as a idea was formed. If he wouldn't tell you, then why not find out for yourself. A smirk appeared on your face. "He wouldn't mind if I just- " Focusing on Mark's mind, you wonder why he's been staring at you ever since your first day, why he's talking about you like he's got some type of crush on you.

"I really like *name* but don't know how to tell him. He seems cool and I want to be closer to him but I'm scared he will shut me out... I have to tell him how I feel eventually. Right?" You're shocked. Lost for words even. Were you flattered? Maybe. It's been a while since you've been in a romantic relationship. This might be it.

A few minutes before class was about to end, an idea came to your mind. Why not give Mark some help confessing to you? Was it wrong? Yes. Did you care? No. You focused on his mind again. First, you thought of Mark confessing to you. Then, you sent it off to his brain. Lastly, you watch everything come into play. The bell rang and you packed up your stuff. Mark was lost in a trance while William was trying to figure out what was going on.

"Earth to Mark! Hellooo? Is anyone home?" You walked past the two without saying a word but stopped at the door frame. Mark snapped out of it and sprung up from his seat with a joyous smile. William raised his brows to an overly happy Mark. "Hey, are you okay-" William was cut off,

"I think I'm gonna do it, Will. I think I'll tell him how I feel."

Note that my fave is def Mark at this point, but many of the characters have grown on me, especially Darkwing 1 and 2, Immortal, Rex, etc. ill even write about the flaxans at this point, cuz why the flaxan leader kindaaaa.... also a big fan of the evil versions of invincible.

HEAVEN IS HIS BEDROOM

( William Clockwell x ftm!reader || trying on your best friend's clothes while he does the same for you )

William jumps in place, trying his best to put on a pair of jeans that barely fitted around his ankles. Your jeans. He was putting on your jeans while you tried your best to put on his across the room.

A random horror flick playing in the background as white noise on his old TV. A stylistic choice, not a very practical one. You hear grainy screaming coming from its speakers as you fumble with the zipper of his cargo pants.

"You shop in the little boys section or something? Jesus." He comments aloud, facing one of the walls in his room. His Lady Gaga poster taunts him with her bright and happy smile as she's carried by a crowd of supporting hands below her. "Shut up, Clockwell." You say back, rolling the band of his pants so that they fit you better.

William snorts, hair blowing up as a small wheeze-like laugh escapes his lips at your deadpan reaction. Despite his snarkiness, you knew he really didn't mean it. Being a bitch was just his way of showing his love for you. Simple as that.

You maneuver yourself in one of his shirts, catching your breath once you stick your head out of the hole where your heads meant to be. Thank God you didn't fall over while trying to put his shirt on. You wouldn't have heard the end of that till next week.

You stretch the shirt out by the hem, feeling it tug against your shoulders as you look in the full-body mirror tucked in the corner of his room. "Watch it, cowboy. That's vintage." William says from over your shoulder, watching as you look at yourself in the mirror. "Vintage?" You repeat, amused. "Pretty sure you got this at the bargain bin at Dollar-rama." The brunet's reaction almost makes you laugh yourself, his mouth slightly agape at the sheer audacity of your reply. It takes him a solid minute to react.

He pretends to gasp at your remark. "Words hurt, y'know. Think before you speak." He pretends to actually put some sort of care into his words. William was repeating some slogan you've seen posted on bulletin boards in the hallway countless times. He wasn't thinking before he was letting the words out of his mouth at all.

You roll your eyes at his words until they land back on William again. You almost bite your tongue to keep yourself from laughing, seeing how poorly your pants fit around his calves. It looked like they were cutting off his circulation. Poor guy.

You laugh through the gaps of your teeth, trying your best to stuff your laughs down with your fingers covering your lips. You did a really bad job at hiding your giggles, seeing how he jutted out his lower lip at your reaction. "Say it don't spray it. Jeez." William backs away from you, before tripping on one of his stray pairs of shoes, causing him to trip and fall on his back.

"Fuck!" He cries out loud, hitting the floor with a loud thump. Probably enough to get his parents to question just what the hell you were both doing up there in his room.

Your eyes widen, snapping out of your stupid giggling session to rush down to the floor to his aid. The baggy fit of his pants causes you to trip on your own two feet, falling flat onto your stomach.

William craned his head up at just the right time to see you fall onto your stomach. He snorts as he laughs, facing up at the ceiling as he has a fit, making you both burst out in laughter as you both lay on the floor.
