i think i want to turn this blog into a true blood multimuse. rewatching the show has not only rekindled my love for jess , but for a few other muses i used to write as well. these are the characters i will 100% be adding to the roster as primary muses : jess , pam , tara , lafayette ( the only thing i’m unsure of with lafayette is i know his fc has passed in real life , but i couldn’t imagine changing lafayette’s fc ). some secondary / request only muses i might include are : maryann foster , arlene , andy , steve newlin , willa burrell.

You have the power to change the final season of one show (could be you're favourite, could be one you just enjoyed watching) what show is it and how would you change the end? Feel free to give as much or a little detail as you want.
True Blood is the first show that came to mind the moment you asked this question! :)
I know there are a lot of shows out there that are better than True Blood, and there are certainly worse final seasons (looking at Castle and House of Cards), but season 7 of True Blood was personally offensive to me. The quality of the last few seasons will always be up for debate (though I personally liked seasons 4-6), but there was a way the final season could have salvaged the show so that people would want to come back and rewatch. There was even an opportunity to upstage the end of Dead Ever After (which was an awful book with a lousy ending) and give fans a more satisfying conclusion. Sadly, they couldn't even do that.
This probably goes without saying, but I'll put it in as a courtesy: SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!
Here's what I would have done for season 7 of True Blood:
1.) Sookie either would end up with Eric, or go single.
I'm not a Sooric shipper, and I've never been emotionally invested in this relationship, but I do get why it appeals to people, and it certainly deserved more sceen-time than it got. Out of all of Sookie's potential love interests, Eric was the better option, and the romance between them was at least honest and open compared to some of her other relationships. There was a lot more that could have been explored here.
The other option is Sookie could have gone single. I never understand why people think the only way you can ever be happy in life is only if you're in a romantic relationship. Considering how much of a mess Sookie's love life was, I don't think it would have been detrimental to her to take time away from romance and find other things in her life that she enjoyed doing.
2.) Tara would have gotten a happy ending.
To this day, I am still angry about what happened to Tara in season 7. She got put through horrific experience after horrific experience where she was repeatedly traumatized, only to get unceremoniously killed off and used as a plot device to absolve her abusive mother for being an awful person. Not only was it disrespectful to Tara's character, it was a slap in the face to fans who cared about Tara and wanted better for her.
What's infuriating is that Brian Buckner (who ran the show between seasons 6-7) stated in interviews that the reason Tara died is because he didn't know what else to explore beyond her relationship with Lettie Mae.
There were plenty of stories left to write for Tara's character: Her romance with Pam. Her friendship with Jessica and Willa. Tara repairing her relationship with Sookie and Jason. Her reconnecting with Lafayette. Tara embracing her vampire nature and finally finding happiness. There were half-a-dozen arcs they could have gone with, and instead they did this. It really demonstrates the lack of care the writers had for the characters by this point, which is depressing.
3.) Bill finally facing consequences for his vile actions.
One of the aspects True Blood that infuriates is how much the writers kept trying to pretend Bill was a sympathetic character no matter how many times he screwed people over for petty and selfish reasons, or how much collateral damage he raked up, or how many instances he back-stabbed and betrayed others, or how abusive his behavior became, or how vile his crimes were (some of which included rape and human trafficking of all things), or how unlikable he became with each passing season. He is the definition of a Karma Houdini: A character who repeatedly commits wrongdoings and somehow gets away with no comeuppance for his actions.
There are a lot of awful things Bill did over the course of the show, but the breaking point for me was the whole Billith arc in seasons 5-6 and what came afterwards. Bill spent an entire season trying to start a war between vampires and humans, and to that end, he:
Ordered the bombing of the True Blood factories as Chancellor in the Authority to force mainstreamers to feed on humans. It's even stated this got people at the factories killed.
Sanctioned and participated in a human trafficking ring where humans were brought to them naked so they could be fed on, raped, and disposed of.
Ordered vampire sheriffs (and other vampires) to turn as many humans as they could.
Attempted to force the Sanguinista doctrine upon all vampires, regardless of whether or not they wanted it.
Back-stabbed Eric when he was trying to escape with Nora and Molly, and later had Molly executed and showed no remorse for it.
Did nothing to stop Russell and Steve from going after Sookie to harvest her.
Bullied Jessica into trying to turn Jason into a vampire against his will, and later hitting Jessica and imprisoning her when she defied him.
Tried to murder Sam in cold-blood when he accidentally saw what was going on, and sent the Authority guards on Sam, Emma, and Luna (which indirectly resulted in Luna's death).
I could go on........but do I really have to? My point is he committed crimes that should have landed him in jail, or resulted in the FBI showing up to his house with silver handcuffs.................and nothing came of it.
Instead, he wrote a book where he profited off his crimes, told everyone he had been a God (even though he previously told people he wasn't), weaseled his way back into Sookie's pants despite having used and abused her, and was treated like a hero by the narration.
When I think of what should have happened to Bill, I recall shows like Bojack Horseman and Breaking Bad where the main characters for those shows were taken to task for every awful thing they did. Every excuse they had dismantled. Every lie they ever told uncovered. Every measly justification they used for their actions stomped out. People washing their hands of them and refusing to forgive them for the damage they caused. Those characters being forced to face the cold-hard reality that they are awful people, and that they destroyed their lives (and the lives of others) through their own selfishness.
That is the ending Bill should have gotten. Not some half-assed redemption arc where the worst of his sins were whitewashed and brushed under the rug.
4.) No Violet.
There was no reason for Violet to be on this show. Not only was she creepy and unpleasant, but her entire character was basically a plot device to cause problems for Jason and Jessica. They had no intention of having Jason end up with Violet by the end of the show, so her existence was pointless. Even Violet killing Maxine is something that could have easily been done by another vampire.
I know people (rightfully) consider Crystal to be the worst girlfriend Jason ever had, but Violet also ranks high up there. Season 7 exploited some ugly double-standards regarding "female-on-male abuse" with the way Violet's relationship with Jason was portrayed. It reminds me of Bolin and Eska's relationship in Legend of Korra, except much worse. The fact Jason expressed multiple times that he was scared of Violet and was never taken seriously until too late (to say nothing about how parts of this fandom victim-blame Jason for Violet's behavior) still makes me angry. It's bad enough there are people in this society who don't think women can be abusive to men, and it doesn't help when shows like True Blood perpetrate that kind of mentality.
5.) Jessica would have gone to explore the world.....
I've said this before, but Jessica worked better as a character when she was learning the ups and downs of being a newborn vampire. Her character development from sheltered abused teenager to an empowered woman who took responsibility for her vampire nature was a compelling arc. A fitting end for Jessica would have been her striking out on her own. She could even have taken Willa and Tara with her. I still remember the speech she gave Tara in season 5 when talking about the positives of being a vampire, and I wish the show had followed through on that instead of shoving Jessica back into a relationship with Hoyt. Speaking of which.....
6.) Hoyt should've stayed in Alaska.
Hoyt's storyline played itself out well before season 7 happened. He barely had anything to do with the main story (to the point you could cut him from the show and it would have little to no impact), and his relationship with Jessica has aged like spoiled milk. I loathe how Jessica got turned into a prize for Hoyt, and how the worst of Hoyt's behavior (which included joining a Hate Group, debating about whether or not to murder Jessica when she was tied up, and later being a douchebag to Brigette during their relationship) was glossed over.
Unless they were going to give Hoyt some much-needed character development (which they didn't), there was no reason for him to return. Jessica deserved better than him.
7.) No Hep-V arc.
If I ever decide to review season 7, I will list off all the plot-holes, inconsistencies, and nonsensical decisions that were made with this arc.
Long story short: It was poorly written, and it required turning most of the characters into idiots.
If they really needed a potential Big Bad for the final season, then I wish they had stuck with Billith. As much as I despise Bill, there was the possibility of a good arc here, with Bill becoming the reincarnation of Lilith, gathering vampire followers to enslave humanity, and the rest of the characters having to find a way to stop him. They already had Bill go off the deep end in season 5. They might as well have followed through on that instead of chickening out and pretending Bill had good intentions when he didn't.
8.) Eric and Pam becoming proper makers to Willa and Tara.
I have issues with Eric abandoning Willa at the end of season 6. Not only was it a dick move, it was wildly out-of-character. This is the same guy who once told Pam he took being a maker seriously, and wasn't the kind of person who would turn someone and then leave them to fend for themselves ("Would you toss a newborn baby into the gutter? Abandoning a new vampire is no different"). Yet the show conveniently forgot about that when they had Eric turn Willa to use her against her father, and then ditched her for 6 months (something Willa was rightfully pissed at him about).
Same thing goes for Pam. They spent two seasons building up a romance between her and Tara, only to throw it in the garbage because God forbid Pam have a story that isn't completely centered around Eric.
There was a potential arc here of all 4 of these characters (Eric, Pam, Willa, and Tara) becoming a vampire family, and not only did the show squandered that, it managed to make Eric and Pam look like shitty makers in the process.
9.) Other things I would have changed:
This goes back to season 6, but I would have kept Luna alive and have her end up with Sam instead of Nicole. Nicole would have never been on this show. She was not needed.
Same goes for Terry and Arlene. Killing Terry off was a huge mistake.
Still would have kept Lafayette and James together.
I don't mind that Brigette ended up with Jason, but I wish the show had introduced her earlier (and NOT as Hoyt's girlfriend) and built up that relationship organically instead of rushing it in the final two episodes.
Andy and Holly would have had the wedding at the end of the series instead of Jessica and Hoyt. They've been establishing that relationship since season 4, they had Andy propose to Holly in season 7, and it deserved a good pay off.
Niall would have come back to bond more with Jason and Sookie as their faerie godfather.
Lettie Mae's arc would have been cut from the last season.
Sarah Newlin would either have been killed off or gone to prison.
I know I'm probably the only person who cares about this, but I would have explored what happened to vampire society after the Authority was destroyed. What would it mean for the monarchs and the average vampire citizens?
Thank you again for the ask! :)

I am bored and I will yet again, answer all of them. HI, I'm Spicehoney and I write for the True Blood Fandom.
What time of day is each of your fics? Mostly at night, since I write vampire stories, but they happen in the day too
If all your fics were in the hunger games which would win? Probably Wicked Games, but Harder They Fall is going to give a run for its money
If your fic was a physical book what would the cover look like? Probably a pile of crinkled dollar bills smeared with glitter and blood (Wicked Games)
If your fics were children what order/age would they be (ie. youngest, middle, oldest, the weird kid who’s always at your house but just isn’t your child)? Well, Blood Moon and Black Moon Lilith are twins, the oldest. Wicked Games is the middle, and Harder The Fall is just a wee baby
If you could have fan art made which fic/scene would you pick? Olivia and Eric Dancing at the Gala (Wicked Games)
if you had to turn one of your fics into MCD which one would you chose? (that's cheating) Black Moon Lilith
Have you written any fics you had no control over? Like you didn’t even realize you were writing it until it was already done. No, is that a thing????
If all of your fics were in a horror movie which one would die first? Blood Moon 100%
If you were doing the trolley problem with your fics and were about to run into [insert fic] would you change the tracks to ram into [insert fic] instead? Save Harder They Fall at all costs
What colors are each other your fics? Blood Moon is navy, Black moon Lilith is Grey, Wicked Games is blood red, Harder They Fall is emerald green
If you had to give an album to each of your fics which album would you choose? Amy Winehouse Black to Black for Blood Moon / Black Moon Lilith. The Weeknd Beauty Behind The Madness for Wicked Games. I can't think of one for Harder They Fall Yet.
What was your hardest fic to finish? Wicked Games
What was your hardest fic to start? They start easy when they do start
Assign each of your fics a season. Blood Moon/ Black moon Lilith is spring, Wicked Games is fall, Harder They Fall is summer
What was your favorite fic to write and is it different from your actual favorite fic? Harder They Fall is my favourite. I don't what it is about it, but it's crack to me.
If you had to rename [insert fic] what would you name it? Wicked Games - oh my God. I was having the BIGGEST The Weeknd phase when I wrote it (cringe)
Who’s your favorite version of [Eric]? I think Harder They Fall has my best Eric.
Did one of your fics completely change your view of a character? If so how did that character change in the fics that follow? Yes - Harder The Fall completely redefined Willa Burrell for me.
Do you have any fics you forgot existed? I wrote a bunch as a teenager, and God I wish I remembered my old pen name or what any of my fics were called
If you had to pick a fic to make a sequel of which fic would you choose? NONE. I write super long fics so there are no sequels! I write so there's literally nothing left
FANFIC ASK GAME (PART TWO)
I made one of these before and wanted to make another one filled with ridiculous questions I’m stealing some of my favorites from that one too.
What time of day is each of your fics?
If all your fics were in the hunger games which would win?
If your fic was a physical book what would the cover look like?
If your fics were children what order/age would they be (ie. youngest, middle, oldest, the weird kid who’s always at your house but just isn’t your child)?
If you could have fan art made which fic/scene would you pick?
if you had to turn one of your fics into MCD which one would you chose?
Have you written any fics you had no control over? Like you didn’t even realize you were writing it until it was already done.
If all of your fics were in a horror movie which one would die first?
If you were doing the trolley problem with your fics and were about to run into [insert fic] would you change the tracks to ram into [insert fic] instead?
What colors are each other your fics?
If you had to give an album to each of your fics which album would you choose?
What was your hardest fic to finish?
What was your hardest fic to start?
Assign each of your fics a season.
What was your favorite fic to write and is it different from your actual favorite fic?
If you had to rename [insert fic] what would you name it?
Who’s your favorite version of [insert character]?
Did one of your fics completely change your view of a character? If so how did that character change in the fics that follow?
Do you have any fics you forgot existed?
If you had to pick a fic to make a sequel of which fic would you choose?

PERSONALITY
Eric is shown to be calculating yet loyal and generally willing to absolve humans that aggravate him, unless they have grievously crossed him. His loyalty as Progeny to his Maker Godric is tremendously strong.
He has a great capacity for loyalty and affection, considering vampire nature. He shows this connection with his progeny Pam. These is also nothing he wouldn’t do for his sister Nora. It’s easy to suggest that his vampire family is of utmost importance to him.
Being a calm and methodical individual, Eric is mostly in control of his emotions. He rarely loses his temper, but has shown a great capacity for violence when pushed. Eric is unconcerned about being viewed as "the bad guy" merely seeing his actions as a means to an end. He is often secretive and can be somewhat of a trickster, but is honest and direct.
Eric is confident enough to not think he needs to prove himself. He has a joy of living and a sense of humor uncommon for vampires.
Being multilingual Eric is fluent in 4 languages: Swedish, English, French, & German.
PAST
Eric used to play near the seaside as a child. His father, Ulfrik Northman, was a Viking King. Although his parents wished that Eric would choose a wife, he was more interested in enjoying the pleasures of unmarried life. In the winter of 919 A.D. while Eric was having sex with a servant, werewolves attacked their home. They killed his mother, Astrid Northman, and baby sister and managed to overpower his father, taking his crown. The crown was handed to a cloaked figure (Russell Edgington) who walked off into the snowy night, leaving Eric to tend to his dying father. Before Eric's father died, he declared Eric a king and made him promise to avenge his family.
In 936 A.D. Eric was wounded in battle while searching for his father's killer somewhere in Scandinavia. Against his wishes, his Viking companions decided to stay with him. They told Eric tales of glory and of women waiting for him in Valhalla. During the night, an unseen force murdered his comrades. A mysterious young tattooed boy appeared and introduced himself as "Death" to the dying Eric. Having seen Eric's strength on the battlefield, the 1,000 year old vampire Godric offered him immortality through life as a vampire. When Eric asked what he would get out of it, Godric said "Life". With the lust for life for which he was renowned, Eric agreed and Godric turned him into a vampire.
By 1665, Godric and Eric were living in London, England during an outbreak of the plague. While doing a favor for King Charles II, Eric came upon a young woman, Nora, who had become infected by the plague whilst caring for victims of the epidemic. Intrigued by Nora's courage, Eric brought her before Godric, who turned her.
In 1905 Eric was in San Francisco. He rescued Pamela Ravenscroft from an attacker in the street by killing her assailant. Her lack of reaction to his appearance impressed him and he decided to visit her brothel the next night. Here he discovered that the vampires Lorena Krasiki and her progeny Bill Compton were responsible for draining several of Pam's employees. Eric confronted them and drove them away. He stayed with Pam for a while afterwards, at which time she asked him to turn her. Eric refused, saying that she had no idea what being a maker encompassed. Out of desperation, Pam slit her wrists and forced Eric to turn her or watch her die. Eric acquiesced and became a maker at last.
During World War II, Godric and Eric posed as Nazi Schutzstaffel officers in order to infiltrate "Operation Werewolf". In 1945, they tracked a werewolf down to a house in Augsburg, Germany. The werewolf attacked and killed an American soldier before turning on Eric, but Godric stabbed her in the arm with a bayonet, pinning her to the wall. Eric demanded to know whom her master was, but the werewolf said she would tell them only if Eric let her drink some of his blood. Godric was deeply offended by the idea, as vampire blood is sacred. Eric, however, did not care. He bit himself and allowed the werewolf to feed from his wrist. She then revealed that her master is a vampire, which shocked Eric. The werewolf took advantage of his distraction, pushing Eric to the ground and attempting to stake him. Godric intervened and snapped the werewolf's neck. Godric lectured his progeny about maintaining control of his emotions before promising to hunt the blasphemous vampire down. Shortly after this confrontation, Eric and Godric parted ways and would not meet again for many decades.
In 1986, Eric was with his progeny Pam in France. During their stay, Eric became enamored with a beautiful human woman named Sylvie and was unusually fond of her. However, Eric's waywardness and disobedience to his Sheriff put him into conflict with the Authority and was confronted by Nan Flanagan, revealing the synthesis of True Blood and the possibility of mainstreaming. Eric mocked both, much more interested in Sylvie than the concerns of the AVL.
A short while later, Eric's fun was put to an abrupt end with the appearance on the Yakuza. They kidnapped both Pam and Sylvie, giving him an ultimatum to only allow one to live if he came with them. Eric refused, offering himself instead, but they needed him alive. In the end, Eric reluctantly chose Pam and is forced to watch as Sylvie dies.
That same year Eric was relocated with Pam to Shreveport, Louisiana. The two are punished for their public activities by The Magister to run a run-down video store that would eventually become Fangtasia and 80% of all the money must go to the Authority. Eric was elected the new Sheriff of Louisiana Area 5, but only as a means to keep tabs on him and keep his waywardness in check. Eric and Pam are disgusted with this arrangement and run the video store for twenty boring years.
When vampires "came out of the coffin", Eric and Pam are still running the video store with help of vampire groupie Ginger. Ginger pitched the idea of turning the store into a vampire nightclub called Fangtasia. Pam would relay this to Eric and the two create and operate Fangtasia, though Pam had told Eric it had been her idea.

Day 13: A scene/moment that pissed you off?
This show had a lot of moments that pissed me off, so it’s pretty hard to pick one.
MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD:
The graveyard scene between Bill and Sookie in season 1, which was referred to as a RAPE scene by Stephen Moyer in a 2009 interview.
The revelation that Bill was a procurer for Sophie Anne, and that he intentionally let the Rattarays beat Sookie to death so he could drug her with his blood and spend months manipulating and gaslighting Sookie.
Tara’s rape at the hands of Franklin in season 3.
Jason’s gang-rape in season 4 and the fact that fan reviewers like Doux Reviews and Persephone Magazine came out and said it was Jason’s karma/comeuppance. To say nothing about how it felt like the show was victim-blaming Jason for getting raped.
Tommy’s rape of Luna in season 4, and how the show glosses over Luna’s feelings about being violated in favor of making Tommy look sympathetic before he died.
The show trying to present Bill’s relationship with Sookie as romantic when it was actually toxic and abusive.
Bill’s treatment of Jessica in general, which ranged from neglectful at best to abusive at worst.
Pretty much everything about Bill’s character, and how the books and the show constantly made measly excuses for his awful behavior.
Hoyt joining a Hate Group in season 5 and debating about murdering Jessica when she was tied up and not in a position to fight back. Everything about the scene made Hoyt look entitled and misogynistic
The unnecessary introduction of Violet’s character, and her creepy/abusive with Jason.
Everything about Season 7 in general.
Eric’s sexual assault of Willa in season 6 when he puts his hand in between her legs without her consent while she was being glamoured by him.
Tara’s death in season 7, and how it was used as a plot point to absolve Lettie Mae for being a shitty mother.
There are probably more moments I haven’t thought of, but these are the ones that come to mind.

True blood season 6
I don’t even know where to begin. This season was very emotional, like the tone of the season was emotional. In my books it maybe like a 7.3. It’s wasn’t amazing but it didn’t suck either. I give it this rating for very different reasons then I gave season 4 this rating. I mostly say this because it actually kinda tugged at my heart sting a little. Like I honestly don’t know how to feel about this season. The show returns to the format of taking place over a short time maybe 2 1/2 weeks. With a time jump at the end.On one hand it actually was pretty emotional with Terry’s and Luna deaths. On the other hand the villains/antiheroes/ antagonist were well they were something. Let’s start with Billith they are 1, kinda ( I love that name by the way) he annoyed the crap out of me. He was kinda the antihero/villain/antagonist wrapped into one. Like he does save everyone by the end. However he kinda put them there in the first place. Like if he hadn’t gone crazy last season there wouldn’t have been a war out on vampires. Speaking of war Louisiana governor Truman Burrell starts a war out on vamps. He is also another Villian/antagonist wrapped into one. He rounds up on the vampires that are on the loose and puts them in a research/prison facility. At some point throughout the season all the vampires from the show end up there, except Billith but that’s for a different reason. Truman is only there for like half the season but his policies and actions have affects till the last episode. He reached out and helped rebuild Trueblood so that he could spike it with Hep V and kill all the vampire. He’s way more of the main antagonist then Billith but some how annoyed me less. Speaking of annoying they brought back Sarah Newlin. She is the other half to Truman but you could honestly say it was her brainchild. I’m of two schools of thought about her, one they ruined her character because she would have never acted this way in season 2. She was a kind Christian who just wanted to do what was right in the sight of God. My other thought is that they made her character stronger because for once she was actually strong and determined to get what she wanted. Either way she was back and was a antagonist of this season. The other antagonist/villian is Warlow. He’s well he’s a complex one. He’s vampire and faerie together, which is kinda cool. We first think he’s setting out to kill sookie but he just wants to be with her. He’s Lilith’s prodigy so he’s tied to the Billith storyline as well. To be honest I kinda thought maybe just maybe him and sookie would have a good life together but he’s crazy. There are a few other things going on this Season. Andy has four faerie daughters but Jessica kills 3 of them. Terry couldn’t live with killing patrick so he arranges to have himself killed. Lafayette was seriously under used again this season. He kinda only came out when he had to be a medium and randomly he helped Sam out. Eric was kinda on his own, he creates a vampire out of Truman’s daughter Willa. He was all for teaming up with Bill until Nora died and then he was pissed. Tara, well she was with Pam and Willa for the majority of the season. At the end she forgives or works on forgiving her mother. Interesting to see where that goes. Jason well they did a good job again with him. Him and sookie are great siblings. Along with him comes Niall who gives us more insight and information on Warlow and Sookie and Jasons parents death. He ends the season in a weird place with a vampire named violet. Sookie and Alcide are together? I shipped it until I didn’t. I think sookie should have given relationship a rest for a bit. The season ends with Eric dying( I mean I hope he’s not dead), we don’t know where Pam is and vampires with Hep V are coming to take over Bon temp. Honestly I can’t really make sense of this season. I think once I let this season sit with me for a while I will be better equipped to unpack it, however all of my reviews are first impression so they are definitely meant to be all tangled up. I’m excited for 7, how’s it gonna end.

Roxine De Maio, 83

Edna Roxine Early De Maio of Moravian Falls, NC, passed away at her home October 8 due to complications from ALS. She was 83.
Roxine was born October 31, 1934 in Haywood County, NC, to the late Roscoe and Bessie Sutton Early. After her father passed away, she was blessed to become the stepdaughter of Calvin D. Rich. Roxine was an avid outdoors woman, a crack shot who could hunt, drop and gut her own deer to the envy of all. She was perhaps happiest when fishing in the back country of Canada, looking like a slightly sunburned Hollywood celebrity, and consistently reeling in the best catch of the day.
After marrying the love of her life, Joseph R. De Maio, she perfected the skill of cooking various Italian dishes "just like his Mom used to make." Roxine was also a creative quilter with a particular gift for restoring old quilt tops and experimenting with colors, especially dark ones, which she found most interesting and soothing. Quilting while watching programs like her beloved "Song of the Mountains" or "Antiques Roadshow" and "American Pickers" was a favorite pastime when her health allowed. Through the years, Roxine excelled in several careers including administrative assistant, hair stylist, antique shop owner and quality control nurse, having returned to school later in life and graduating at the top of her class.
Roxine was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather. She is survived by her husband, Joseph R. De Maio of the home; a daughter, Lisa Brewer (Greg) of North Wilkesboro, NC; a son, Dr. Joe De Maio (Sylvia) of Atlanta, GA, and two grandsons, Joseph Zachary Brewer and David Bryan Brewer of North Wilkesboro, NC. The family wishes to thank the many excellent care givers who attended Roxine through the years, especially Sandy Hutchens.
The family wishes to thank PruittHealth Hospice of North Wilkesboro and especially Kristi Miller for their compassionate and professional service.

I hate that Pam leaves Tara to take care of Willa even though they're only a few weeks old. Tara is right that Pam and Eric are the worst makers ever.
I hate that they threw away this relationship between Tara and Pam. That was one of the biggest mistakes this show ever made.
