I'm halfway through Stardust Crusaders and I couldn't help but think "If hamon was gonna be this irrelevant they should have just had stands from the beginning." So I designed some prototypes, as a fun lil exercise :)

During the time of the Zeppelis of old (10,000 years prior), Godot wrote several poems that survived to the day of Dio's revival. These are regarded as beautiful poems of his day and are calued to give insight into the culture and technological prowess of 10,000 years ago.

But these weren't just little poems. They were warnings. Predictions, even, hidden as riddles, for those of the future age. The Zeppelis of old used the stars to make predictions of the future, and so Godot saw danger coming towards their far flung descendants. And these signs had everything to do with Dio's revival.

The Zeppelis of the present (Gregorio, Will, Gyro, Caesar, etc) found these poems and studied them, but they were too late in identifying the warnings before Dio revived.
