Hawthorn is abundant, harvested from Krakow's Krzemionki. There are also plenty of wild apples and walnuts there. Elderberry season is over 🙁

Currently, I'm freezing the berries after removing the stems; in defense against the temperature drop, the fruits are sugaring up, which enhances the flavor. This shrub has long been known for supporting heart health.
