Three years. Three long years, you have worked your butt off for this company. You bent over backwards to help make sure that everything ran smoothly and how do they repay you? Fire you for a supposed "better" candidate.
Their excuse being that your good wasn't good enough. And you know what. You were actaully starting to believe them.
You must have been lacking in some way for them to fire you this suddenly. Maybe, you should've worked harder. That might be why they choose the new recruit.
"I was literally in the middle of buying milk when I sense your sadness," someone yelled from beind the couch, the area you decided to be your depressed hole.
A clacking on the red hardwood alerted you that she was making her way around. You really didn't want her to see you like this. It was embarrassing, honestly.
Long, thick, scaley, blood red legs walked towards you and stopped infront of your view. The shape of her legs remind you to dragon's leg. Might even look like a horse leg, if it wasn't thicker and covered in sharp pointy scales.
You willed your watery eyes to continue to move up her body. She was blurry at first, but after a couple of blinks and fallen tears, she became clear.
Her only clothing was a loose tank top with black wrap acorss her chest. For pants, if you could consider it that, she wore a pair of short that look eerily similar to a pair of boxers she brought earlier.
But with this loose and revealing clothing, you could her perfectly sculpted 8 pack abs. Her four muscular arms were either resting down or on her hip, but a single one held a galloon of milk. You felt that she didnt pay for that.
Her bright blue eyes bored into yours as you continue to lay on the couch. Small blue strands of hair escaped from her failed messy bun ontop of her head. She could never do one correctly.
The creature infront of you was your mixed succubus and demon roomate, Anglizera. As a slight joke, you sometimes call her Angel. She doesn't hate it, but instead loves when you use it.
"What's wrong? Who do I need to kill?" She whispered bending down onto her knees and placing her head on the edge of the front of couch. This new position was kind of uncomfortable, since you had to look down at her. And looking down made more tesrs come forward. Or maybe it's because she asked the phrase,"what's wrong?"
"Nothing," you croaked out, flinching out how bad it sounded. No matter how hard you tried to hide your emotion, they always came out around her.
"That was a horrible lie. But I understand if you're not ready to talk about it," she muttered with a sigh in the middle of it. Lifting her head, she begin the process of standing. "But I know what you need."
Her left upper arm reached under your head and cradled your neck while her right lower arm slide under your knees. You didn't put up any resistance as she lifted you off the couch.
"Up you go," she sung with a smile revealing her mouth of sharp teeth. She quickly jumped into the couch and snuggled down until her legs were drangling off the end. Her two free arms moved to your hips to shift you, so you were curled into her side.
"Now, I can't pinpoint the cause of your sadness, but I can feel a lot of self doubt coming out of you," she whispered as her giant hand slowly beging to rub the top of your head, while another rubbed small circles in your back. "And I know for a fact that all those thoughts swarming in your head is false. You are the strongest and most caring human I have ever met. You try your best on everything, even if you sometimes don't believe it's your best. Whatever it is that's causing this sadness, it isn't worth your tears."
Her lower left arm came up to wipe away the tears falling from your eyes. Your body instinctively lean more into her touch.
"My job fired me," you mumbled closing your eyes at saying it out loud. It still hurt. You really thought you were doing great at this job. And they went and fired you.
"It's their fucking lost. They don't know what they are missing. It's their ignorance if they let someone as awesome as you go," she yelled jabbing into the air as if she was yelling at your boss. "And you know what. You were too good for that job and life knew you aren't the type of person to let stuff go. Life probably has an even better job out there waiting on you."
You didn't think of it that way. Maybe she was right. That job did have a couple fo flaws that you were always overlooking.
"Watch you become the CEO of your next business," Angel roared with laughter following. A small smile cracked it's way through your sadness.
You moved your head to look up at Angel to see that her head was already looking down at you. Her blue eyes were twinkling with this shine of proudness. Her arm stopped rubbing your back and wrapprd around your waist.
"I dont think that will happen ," you mumbled trying to joke. An offended scoff escaped her plush lips as she rolled her eyes before returning them back to you.
"Watch it will. You're so amazing that any job will be honoured to have you. I'm telling you. Life may be crap now, but just you wait. Your future is going to be brighter and better than anyone could predict,"she whispered to you as she leaned forward. A small flutter erupted through your heart causing your smile to widen.
"Thank, Angel. I needed that," you said digging your face into her sides. Even though she had scales on her sides, she was still comfortable to cuddle into.
"Hey, I will always be here for you. And just know that I said all this from my heart. You know for a fact I wouldn't hold my tongue for anyone." You nodded your head in agreement. Angel was quite down to earth and hated to sugar coat anything.
"How about this? You go upstairs and clean up. Get in some comfy pjs and I'll cook us something to eat. We could sit down and watch some bad horror movies. How does that sound?"
You answered with a giant smile. Her lips pulled back as she let out a laugh. One of her sharp talons poked your cheeks causing you to puff them out.
"You are so cute," she giggled poking your cheek. You smiled at seeing her giggle. She rarely giggled, but when she did. Gosh, it could melt even the coldest of hearts. "Go get change, so I can get something cooking."
You let out a sarcastic groan, but crawled off her anyway. You made your way around the couch and begin to make your way up the stairs.
"Wait!" Angel yelled causing you to jump and turn towards her. Angel's usually red face was turning to a shade of pink. "You know, you are something special. I mean, extraordinary really. Don't let anyone make you think otherwise."
You know for a fact the first thing you're going to do when you come back down here. She deserved a giant hug.
"And I'm not saying this because you're sppecial to me. Not that I'm saying you're not special. You're extremely special. And I'm still talking. Ignore me and just go get change."
She flopped back down on the couch and a high pitch muffled scream came from her.
Confused and slightly flustered, you begin your journey to your room. What was that last part about?
4 hours later, you laid against Angel as you watched the main character fall for the third time in the row. Even though the movie was horrible, it was the funny type. It was exactly what you needed.
"Hey, you still awake?" Angel whispered next to you. You let out a loud hum to show you were alert.
"So, there's this movie that came out this week and I've heard a lot of people speak positively on it. I was wondering if you would like to see it."
Somthing was off about Angel. The two of you have went to the movies a bunch of times before. But she sound hesistant to ask you. And she's doing that leg bounce that she does when she's nervous.
"Of course," you stated leaning off Angel and turning to look at her. Her blue eyes were glued to the screen as her skin was still that shade of pink. Was she ill?
"I don't mean as a roomate night out. I mean as a da-a date?" Her eyes finally looked towards you. Her face contourted into regret.
"A date?" You asked shocked. Her face fell and her body stiffen up.
"Well, I know you know you just went through something stressful and this is sudden-"
"Yes."
"But I've had these feeling for a long time and I know I'm trying to cross a line here-"
"Yes."
"But I promise to treat you right and to always be there for you-"
"Yes!"
"And I will make sure that this date is awesome and it won't be a flop like any of your exs."
Getting frustrated, you grabbed her face causing her to look back at you. Her pupils shrunk rapidly before slowly moving back normal.
"How many times do you want me to say yes? Yes,yes, yes. My gosh, do you know how happy you just made me?"
Angel's face went confused before realization took over her features. A happy squeal slipped from her mouth as she launched towards you.
All four of her arms wrapped around your waist as she pulled you into her. Her talons rested carefully against your hips as she squirmed happily with you in your arms.
"Gosh, you scared me for a second. I thought you were offended by me asking you on a date," she laughed out giving you a squeeze before plopping back on the couch with you ontop. You giggled as you got on your knees and looked down at her.
Her blue hair pooled around her face making it seem ironically like a halo. All her sharp teeth were present as she held the biggest smile.
"I thought I've been dropping hints all this time, but guess I shouldn't expect much from a demon," you joked poking her cheek. She rolled her eyes in annoyance, but the hand placed on your back told you she got the joke.
"Well, you're going to be dating this big dumb demon and you're going to love every munute of it," she purred lifting her self up and softly placed her forehead against yours. "I will make sure you be treated like a god. And I will worship the ground you walk on."
You let out a nervous laugh as heat crawled up your neck. The tone of the statement and the closeness was so intense . This was unlike Angel, but it wasn't a bad thing.
"We should finish this movie," you quickly exclaimed trying to defuse the tense situation. A low hum came from Angel. She tilted her head and leaned closer to you. A warm pair of lips pressed against your cheek causing you to let out a gasp.
"Sure, baby. But now that I know what your fluster face looks like, I going to keep teasing you to get that cute reaction," she whispered in your ear, not helping the blush at all. Embarrassed, you pushed her back on the couch and face planted on her chest.
"You're so cute," she mumbled with a little laughter at the end. Her left arms wrapped around your back and pulled you closer to her.
She didn't tease you for the rest of the movies, but she continued to show small displays of affection: kisses ontop of the head, rubbing your back, and entwining your fingers with hers.
Angel always made you feel better. Even your worst day, she turned into the best. Whoever said demons were cruel, never tried to date one.

So, I wasn't planning on releasing anything until my computer got fix, but I can't do that. I actually have people that follow me and I'm so greatful for them. I feel like I will be letting them down if I disappear for months on end. So until my computet gets fixed, I'm going to try to write shorter stories (to try to not irritate the people that don't want to read my stuff). This is like an okay middle ground and I will see where this go.
Anyway plase COMMENT what you think of the story or the character, anything really. My favorite thing is to go back through my stories and read the comments. I also have an open ASK box, so if you want to ask me or my ocs then you can just slide over there. Thank you for reading and enjoy the rest of your day.

Why the Halo Movie Failed to Launch
The Master Chiefs left the offices of Creative Artists Agency around midday on June 6, 2005, in a fleet of limo vans. In their green, red and blue Spartan armour the cybernetically-enhanced super soldiers made quite a spectacle. Each stood six-foot-three tall, visored helmets obscuring their faces. Each carried a red bound document folder stamped with the CAA logo that contained two things: a copy of the Halo screenplay commissioned by Microsoft and written by Alex Garland and a terms sheet. None of them spoke a word.
The security guards on the gates of the major motion picture studios are used to seeing many things. Still, a hulking soldier from the future striding towards them and demanding access to the studios top brass was inevitably going to end in some kind of shooting incident — whether involving a United Nations Space Command BR55 Battle Rifle or a security guards arguably more deadly .38 revolver.
Fortunately Larry Shapiros team at CAA had called ahead and warned the studios security heads what was going on. The Master Chiefs were allowed onto the lots at Universal, Fox, New Line, DreamWorks and others without firing a single shot. If this was the videogame industry literally invading Hollywood, it was remarkably bloodless. They delivered their scripts and waited outside the meetings rooms in silent character, flicking through the pages of Variety. Everyone knew the clock was ticking: Studio executives only had a couple of hours to read the Halo screenplay and decide whether or not to make an offer before the Master Chiefs returned to CAA with the screenplay. It was the deal of the century, and a fantastic piece of showmanship.
The Master Chief suits were Shapiros idea and they ensured that the Halo deal made headlines even before the trade papers learned how rich the demands were. It was a spectacular attempt to turn Microsofts first foray into Hollywood filmmaking into a theatrical event and it very almost worked. Master Chief, the hero of Microsoft and Bungies bestselling Halo games, made his debut in Hollywood. Sadly, though, his Tinsel Town ascension was short-lived.
Microsoft was aggressive in pursuing the idea of taking Halo to the big screen. Its easy to understand why. The games, developed by Bungie Studios, were perfect blockbuster material: high-octane, intense sci-fi shoot em ups with a dense mythology and storyline and a dedicated fan-base of millions. Combined sales of the first two Halo games grossed in excess of $600 million over four years, selling north of 13 million units. The movie biz looked on in envy.
When Microsoft approached CAA about their movie ambitions, Shapiro told them about the Day After Tomorrow auction set up by CAA agent Michael Wimer and director Roland Emmerich. With a script for the apocalyptic eco-movie in hand, Wimer called the major studios and invited them to bid for it. The process was unusual: Every studio would send a messenger to CAA at an allotted time, pick up the script and then have 24 hours to read it and make an offer. Each script was despatched with a terms sheet: Heres how much we want; heres how much we want for the director, and it has to be a go movie (in other words, a picture with a guaranteed start date for production). Each studio responded by trying to negotiate terms. The only exception was Fox, who simply wrote on the term sheet: Yes.
Microsoft, unaccustomed to Hollywoods culture, was impressed by that story. It wanted to be able to dictate the terms even though it was a newcomer in the movie biz. Halo was its prize property and they wanted to protect it.
Microsoft was entering into negotiations brandishing a very big stick.
Microsoft also wanted to make a bundle of money from its sale. For Shapiro, it was typical of the gulf between the two industries. Games creators are, by their nature, engineers who deal in absolutes. For them the subtleties of Hollywood production, with its ebb-and-flow of egos and power plays, were often alien. To sell a movie into a studio and actually get it made is a lot of work, he says. It takes a lot of conversations and a lot of pixie dust being thrown about while youre getting the deals done. In the games industry, theyre technologists and theyre data driven. Theyre looking at data points and saying: We need the movie to be made, its got to be this, this and this. If you get A, B and C to be part of the movie, then great well sell you the rights. You cant do that. But, if thats what Microsoft wanted, CAA was willing to try.
To set up that kind of deal, Microsoft needed to be ready. Most importantly it needed to have a screenplay so it paid Alex Garland (28 Days Later, The Beach) $1 million to pen a spec script. The screenplay was supervised by Microsoft, which meant it was — for good or ill — heavily steeped in the games mythology. Still, the project now had a blockbuster screenwriter and was based on a high-profile videogame franchise.
Next, it was a case of setting up the auction. Peter Schlessel, the former president of production at Columbia Pictures, was one of the main negotiators in the Halo movie deal and served as Microsofts Hollywood liaison. Together with Microsoft and its lawyers, Schlessel and the CAA team hammered out a term sheet. We were literally setting out to be the richest, most lucrative rights deal in history in Hollywood, says Shapiro. You have to remember that no property, not even Harry Potter, was getting [what we were asking for]. Microsoft, a global software giant used to getting its own way, wasnt about to kowtow to Hollywood. It knew Halo was the jewel of videogame movies, the one that could be a true blockbuster hit. According to Variety, Microsoft wanted $10 million against 15% of the box office gross, in addition to a $75 million below-the-line budget and fast-tracked production.
Those were big demands. Not least of all since, at the time, videogame movies were still floundering on the edge of respectability. Tomb Raider had made a pot of money and pushed towards the mainstream but its 2003 sequel, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider — The Cradle of Life, suffered a disappointing opening weekend at the U.S. box office and limped by on its foreign grosses. The Lara Croft franchise was running out of steam early. And most other videogame movie outings werent even in the same neighbourhood as Lara. Paul W. S. Anderson, the director of Mortal Kombat, parlayed his success into the zombie-themed Resident Evil franchise distributed by Sony Screen Gems. The first movie based on Capcoms survival horror game series took $102 million worldwide and did gangbuster business on DVD selling over a million units. But it lacked the prestige and mainstream crossover potential of Tomb Raider.
Microsoft were aiming higher — much, much higher. CAAs deal-making matched the software giants aspirations. According to the New York Times, Microsoft were demanding creative approval over director and cast, plus 60 first-class plane tickets for Microsoft personnel and their guests to attend the premiere. It wouldnt be putting any money into the production itself beyond the fee paid to Garland, nor was it willing to sign over the merchandising rights. To add insult to injury, Microsoft wanted the winning studio to pay to fly one of its representatives from Seattle to LA. They would watch every cut of the movie during post-production. Clearly, Microsoft was entering into negotiations brandishing a very big stick.
With the screenplay written and the ink still drying on the terms sheet, the agents called up the major studios and advised them to be prepared. It was a bold, some might say arrogant, show of power. As Shapiro remembers it, We told them: You need to have all your decision makers in a room because were going to deliver the script for you to read together with a terms sheet. But theres a fuse on it. Youll only have a certain amount of time to make a deal.

Because Hollywood is a town built on relationships, CAAs agents made sure they called all the major players. Even then there were some who felt snubbed; Miramax head honcho Harvey Weinstein called up to shout about being left off the list. Everyone had assumed Miramax wouldnt be interested in the property. Truth was they probably werent, but there was prestige to be had in being invited to the Halo party. The only major studio Microsoft refused to approach was Columbia, which was owned by Sony, its chief rival in the console war.
With his production background, Shapiro decided to add a little razzle dazzle to the proceedings. Remembering the Master Chief costumes hed seen at Comic-Con, he tracked down the one person in the U.S. who was fabricating the games official Spartan UNSC battle armour and hired seven suits: a Red, a Blue and several in Master Chief green. I had them shipped out to CAA, recalls Shapiro, they came in crates and had instructions about how to put them on. I hired character actors to wear the suits because, you know, you dont just put anyone in these suits. They had to feel like Master Chief.
For a few hours on June 6, 2005, Hollywood became Halowood. Everyone was buzzing about the Master Chiefs spotted walking through the studio lots and — more importantly — about the richness of the deal Microsoft was demanding. No one had ever seen anything like it before. Microsoft, the global corporation whose products sat on every desktop, had come to Hollywood and wasnt afraid of throwing its weight around. If showmanship and arrogance and Hollywood dont go together, I dont know what does, says Moore who was Microsofts go-between with Universal during the negotiations, reporting to the software companys point man Steve Schreck.
Not everyone was impressed. Movie executive Alex Young, who by the time of Halo had moved from Paramount to Fox, recalls reading the screenplay under Master Chiefs watchful eye. It was one of those gimmicky Hollywood things: hey, force everybody to be in a room, make it feel urgent, have a guy show up in costume and Oh my God! This feels like a big deal. It probably served Microsoft and CAA well at the time, but ultimately it seemed like a bit of manufactured theatre to me. Another problem was that the Halo property was so well-known by that point that everyone knew what to expect. You either loved the idea of making a Halo movie or you did not, suggests Young. Having a guy in costume deliver the screenplay wasnt going to convince you one way or the other.
In the end, though, it wasnt the Master Chiefs fault that the deal stumbled. Nor was it CAAs. The failure of the Halo movie remains a potent illustration of the gulf that still lies between Hollywood and the videogame business. It should have been the tent-pole movie to die for, instead it became the one that got away. Millions of Halo fans around the world wanted a movie, yet it failed to launch. Partly, it stemmed from the on-going inability of both sides of the deal to understand each others culture, needs and language.
“When the videogame industry talks to people they do it open-kimono and they expect the same transparency back. Hollywood doesnt function that way.”
Most of the studios who read the Halo screenplay passed immediately. Microsofts terms were simply too demanding. By the end of Master Chief Monday there were only two horses in the race: Fox and Universal. Microsoft hoped to use each to leverage off the other but hadnt banked on the studios very different approach to doing business. What the games industry doesnt understand is that this town is all about lunch, explains Shapiro. It doesnt happen like that in the games industry. If there was a movie studio going out to the games publishers to license Avatar or something like that, theyd say Ok were licensing Avatar, send us your best deal. But none of the games publishers would talk to each other and say Hey, what are you going to offer them?
The studios werent so reticent in sounding each other out. What happened was Universal called Fox and asked them what they were going to offer, continues Shapiro, who watched events unfold close-up. They decided to partner on it. Lets offer the same deal and offer to partner. So now we lost our leverage. Universal agreed to take U.S. domestic, Fox would take foreign. In the blink of an eye Microsofts bargaining position had been pole-axed.
The immensely powerful Microsoft had wandered into the deal navely expecting everyone to play by its rules and the resulting culture shock put immense strain on the Halo deal. For Moore, then corporate vice-president of the Interactive Entertainment Business division at Microsoft, there was clearly culture clash during the negotiations: You work for a company like Microsoft, where you do what you say, you say what you do; you think you have an agreement, youre ready to go, and then… [the deal falls apart].
It was something that talent agents working at the intersection between the two industries have experienced many times. When the videogame industry talks to people they do it open-kimono and they expect the same transparency back, says Blindlights Lev Chapelsky. Hollywood doesnt function that way, they dance and they sing and they play games and go through their ritual haggling. To somebody whos not accustomed to that, it can be insulting.
Microsoft clearly werent accustomed to it. They were used to being the strongest contender in any negotiation they entered into. But this time they were far out of their comfort zone. We dont understand Hollywood, Microsoft Games Studios general manager Stuart Mulder confessed to the trade papers in 2002 as the company inked in its deal with Shapiro at CAA. It was a throwaway comment that would turn out to be disturbingly prophetic.
What was apparent during the Halo deal-making was that Microsoft was far from home, perhaps even surrounded in enemy territory. In the middle of the Halo negotiations, as all parties sat around the table, Shapiro recalls the discussion between Microsofts Hollywood liaison Peter Schlessel and Jimmy Horowitz, Universals co-president of production, taking an aggressive turn. Schlessel was getting really tough on some of the terms with Horowitz: Come on, dont be a jerk, blah, blah, blah…. It was getting really heated. The guy from Microsoft [Steve Schrek] was like, Wow, this is really good. Then we took a break and Schlessel goes to Horowitz, Are you coming over for Passover? Because they know each other. You dont have those kinds of relationships in videogames. In Hollywood you can be getting at each other but then youre playing golf together the next day.

Even after the deal was struck, the misunderstanding over how the movie business operated continued to be a problem. Microsoft wanted a big-name director, but Peter Jackson, helmer on The Lord of the Rings trilogy, decided to sign on as a co-producer alongside Peter Schlessel, Mary Parent and Scott Stuber. Jackson wanted his new protg, an up-and-coming commercials whiz kid called Neill Blomkamp, to direct. With Jacksons fee running to several million dollars the studios knew there was an advantage in hiring a cheaper, less well-known talent to sit in the directors chair. Microsoft was reputedly not happy with the decision.
Blomkamp, a South African director who had made his mark with commercials for Nike and had shot an intriguing short about alien apartheid called Alive in Joburg, was concerned about getting chewed up and spat out while making his first feature with these three enormous corporations and a budget north of $100 million. My instinct was that if I crawled into that hornets nest it would be not good, and it was a clusterfuck from day one, he admits. Theres no question that there was a clash of worlds, for sure. The two sides werent seeing eye-to-eye.
What lured him in, beyond the obvious kudos, was his love for the property: I told Tom Rothman [co-Chairman of Fox Filmed Entertainment] that I was genetically created to direct Halo. However, Blomkamp quickly realised that the studio didnt share his artistic vision and was uncomfortable at the prospect of his gritty, post-cyberpunk aesthetic — all blurry video feeds and radio chatter – dominating a summer blockbuster. Rothman hated me, I think he would have gotten rid of me if he could have, says the director. The suits werent happy with the direction I was going. Thing was, though, Id played Halo and I play videogames. Im that generation more than they are and I know that my version of Halo would have been insanely cool. It was more fresh and potentially could have made more money than just a generic, boring film — something like G.I. Joe or some crap like that, that Hollywood produces.
Blomkamps relationship with Fox was particularly fraught. The way the deal was split between three major corporations and a handful of Hollywood producers caused several unusual imbalances in terms of power. The way Fox dealt with me was not cool. Right from the beginning, when Mary [Parent, Universals former president of production turned Halo producer] hired me up until the end when it collapsed, they treated me like shit; they were just a crappy studio. Ill never ever work with Fox ever again because of what happened to Halo – unless they pay me some ungodly amount of money and I have absolute fucking control.
He was also being pressured by Microsofts demands too. One of the biggest issues was creative control. Microsoft had paid Garland to pen the screenplay to their specifications in order to retain control over what was clearly a very valuable property to them. Halo was an Xbox exclusive title, a billion-dollar franchise, and its chief weapon in the console war against Sony. The problem was, though, that filmmaking was a collaborative exercise and total control simply wasnt possible.
If youre dealing with a company that doesnt understand the film industry, its sense of assurance comes with glossy names that have done a lot of big projects that have made a lot of money, says Blomkamp. I think the guys at Bungie liked what I was doing. Im fairly confident in saying they liked where I was going. Its highly possible that that artwork was getting back to Microsoft and Microsoft itself, the corporate entity, was not happy with it because it was too unconventional. I dont know if thats true or not, but it was entirely possible.
Against this fraught background, Universal funded $12 million of preliminary development on the movie. Some of the money was spent before Blomkamp came on-board by director Guillermo Del Toro, who was initially attached before going off to make Hellboy II: The Golden Army instead. The rest was spent on Blomkamps watch and included paying various screenwriters — Scott Frank, D.B. Weiss, Josh Olson — to redraft the original screenplay.
Meanwhile, Weta Workshop, the New Zealand physical effects company co-founded by Jackson, was fabricating real-life versions of the weapons, power armour and the Warthog assault vehicle from the game. Blomkamp would eventually use them to shoot a series of thrilling test shorts. The legacy of a movie never made, is how Moore describes the collected footage, which was later cut together under the title Halo: Landfall and used to promote the Halo 3 videogame release in 2007.
With development proving slow, Fox and Universal were beginning to get impatient. The gross heavy deal and costs increased the growing sense of unease. In October 2006, right before a payment was due to be made to the filmmakers and Microsoft, Universal demanded that the producers deals be cut. Jackson consulted with his co-producers and Blomkamp, as well as with Microsoft and Bungie, and refused. In a stroke, the Halo movie was pronounced dead in the water.
What ultimately killed the Halo movie was money. Microsofts unwillingness to reduce their deal killed the deal, says Shapiro. Their unwillingness to reduce their gross in the deal meant it got too top-heavy. That movie could have been Avatar.
Blomkamp agrees: One of the complicating factors with Halo was that Microsoft wasnt the normal party that youd go off and option the IP from and make your product. Because Microsoft is such an omnipresent, powerful corporation, they werent just going to sit back and not take a massive cut of the profits. When you have a corporation that potent and that large taking a percentage of the profits, then youve got Peter Jackson taking a percentage of the profits and you start adding all of that stuff up, mixed with the fact that you have two studios sharing the profits, suddenly the return on the investment starts to decline so that it becomes not worth making. Ultimately, thats essentially what killed the film.

Marvel Movies
Need to purchase X-Men t-shirts online? Whether or not you could have a love for The Avengers, Incredible 4, Thor, or X-Men there are lots or t-shirts and other merchandise to own. My childhood included a love for 60s and 70s Marvel and DC comics, and my ability to draw originates partly from finding out the tales I learn in those days. We worked for a year together on the piece to plan and draw it. Toy corporations like Hasbro and Kenner used to supply hundreds of Batman motion figure than is launched yearly with some variation in it. Transformers 2, the science-fiction film is the latest sensation, and is probably the most awaited film of the year. Let's take the movie Avatar for instance. From time to time I went back to the sport to take a couple of extra screenshots to increase a plot. Inside a few minutes, I started making comedian strips. Unlike his other comic strips, in Battling Boy, the hero is a child, who is on a mission to save lots of town.
In truth, the other sequence of battling boy grew to become common. To conclude on this topic, I think it's an awesome idea to provide our children the funny comics created way-back-when, comics out of your and my childhood. To learn a story in adventurous manner is kind of exciting for all the children. You may have to beat the constraints of speech bubbles and the issue of telling a story frame by body. Admit it you've gotten! I’m positive you will have heard this popular on-line retailer. Since Children's Graphic Novels are actually just an outdated idea with a fancy new name, why shouldn't you discover taking outdated successful comicbook ideas and reinventing them for a new era? The idea was to convey the same which means with words that I urged by colours, textures and images. Well-liked Online Comics solidify a that means of a phrase as a result of footage support meaning to words. The nomination was a major achievement for an artist who had - quite actually -started out small, drawing Submit-it note sized comics and hiding them in different people’s work in bookshops. The first comedian strips appeared in Germany in 1865. It was about two boys who are getting punished for at all times moving into mischief.
Furthermore, if we are trustworthy with ourselves, we all know that a lot of mischief is downright humorous. Why are previous coins worth greater than today's coins? Complete collections will fetch a lot greater than random particular person comics. Tumblr media
It may haven't been planned quite a few this week's comics occur to take care of fathers and sons. That might not sound strange however when you think about classic comics there are few prominent father figures. Some of the most prominent super heroes do not have dads. Superman's father is dead, ditto for Batman, Uncle Ben could be the closest thing with a dad Peter Parker ever had and that we are all aware so what happened to him. I'm not even going to go near Silk Spectre's daddy issues. Is there an underlying reasons why most superheroes will also be orphans? Superhero costumes are as countless because amount of superheroes themselves. However, some are definitely more convenient than these. For example, an outfit for Kratos, the flesh-rendering character through the iconic game God of War, is certainly easier to dress up than the Mjolnir suits from Halo, or perhaps the Iron Man suit. The former only mandates that you have very good condition, and have sufficiently huge amounts of body paint available. Meanwhile, an intricate Iron Man suit doesn't only set you back several hundred, otherwise several thousand dollars, it is usually extremely bothersome to put on and remove.
Tumblr media
Immediately after newspaper comic strips like Mutt and Jeff was reprinted as books and the publishers did start to experiment with periodic books, which were sold for 10 cents with the newsstands. The pre-superhero comic strips was mainly pulp stories of detectives, adventure, criminals and exotic travel. The very first costumed hero ended up The Phantom, which became available in 1936 wearing black mask plus a purple costume.
Tumblr media
Nor is independent comics only for novices. Longtime creators including Mark Waid and Paolo Rivera supply before year announced their want to start working on creator-owned titles, though not every one of them will do independent work exclusively. The independent world allows all creators the choice to profit or fail using their characters. Robert Kirkman believes the longer term is based on some sort of where comic strip creators utilize the Big Two being a professional step, a learning center to practice their talent before switching towards the (possibly) more profitable opportunities in neuro-scientific independent comics owned by creators. As the indie market grows, we are able to determine if his vision becomes the industry standard. 22. Black Bolt: One from the strongest beings in the Marvel Universe and yet he never uses his true power for concern with the destruction it could unleash. The merest whisper from Black Bolt could level a mountain therefore the ruler in the Inhumans has imposed upon himself a moratorium on speaking. Black Bolt still gets angry. The reader is aware that solutions that he wants to yell but he doesn't. The self-control that it takes for Black Bolt to stay silent only makes him seem more noble

This AntiSocial Life: Borealis and Artistic Purity
Tumblr media
Storytelling is one of the hardest jobs their is. The reason why is both simple and frustratingly complex. Stories require specific functions in order to create their desired function and most people don’t recognize those things. This is often the mile high hurdle that pushes down against young creatives as they struggle to try and create their own place to express themselves to an audience. Most people are il-equipped to handled such tasks. This isn’t for a lack of trying or creativity on the part of most people of course. It’s just a problem of difficulty that our greatest stories are so hard to grasp and recreate and most people never end up learning the skills necessary to do so.
Growing up the closest I ever came to throwing my hat in the ring was with the Machinima fad of the late 2000s. The fad came as something of a strange artistic wave within the gaming community. Born in the 90s by the hands of a group of Quake gamers who created short narrations based in the world of the game, the phenomena launched in popularity after the breakout success of a small web series called Red vs Blue. The pitch was a simple parody of the in game mechanics of Halo: Combat Evolved’s multiplayer engine but the small Austin, Texas crew struck gold. 15 years later the same crew how own and operate their own Film studio.
Machinima is a very simple concept but complicated in execution. In essence, Machinima involves using video games as the base medium to tell visual stories such as webseries and movies. To accomplish machinima in the earlier days was rather difficult. The process usually involved multiple players controlling different in game avatars and one player to function as the dedicated “camera” from whom the in game content would be recorded. From there the recorded material is edited down into traditional movie form. The process is one that initially required a great deal of time, patience, technical expertise and cooperation in order to pull off. The Quake videos and Red vs Blue did so like gangbusters.
Tumblr media
Red vs Blue’s runaway success reverberated up the chains of both Halo’s developers at Bungie and the gamers who loved the show. The popularity of the show gained so much attention that the developers of the game themselves personally gave the show the green light to continue without worry of legal issues from the publisher. Not long after new shows such as the dramatic series The Codex and the talk show This Spartan Life quickly rose to prominence and critical acclaim.  Given that the fad had arisen via the success of the Halo franchise it was only natural that the studio would come to recognize the golden goose they held.
With rising popularity Bungie Studios sought to give their machinima fan base the ultimate boon. That boon was the famed Theater Mode. When Halo 3 released in 2007 the mode was one of the game’s most innovative and popular functions. Allowing the player to replay footage of their prior games and position the camera at will, theater mode was the ultimate gift to machinima fans. No more did Machinima require intensive multi-television set ups and multiple people. Now anyone with an Xbox 360 and four controllers could effectively create their own machinima. Namely myself…
youtube
Yah… This embarrassing piece of storytelling was adolescent me’s attempt as creating his own Machinima and it sucks really badly. Not to mention it ripped off multiple other major Machinima series. Normally I don’t enjoy showing this off as it has stood for a while now as something of a personal blemish but I here I think offers a fascinating example of what Machinima was like at it’s height. Almost anyone could do it and often it failed. Occasionally though genuinely great creators managed to find their own strange, funny and/or creative niche to express and brought it to bear. To help foster this came the rise of one of YouTube’s most famous, beloved and hated channels, Machinima. Founded by some of the creators of the Quake videos, the channel became a hub at the height of the machinima craze (approximately 2007-2013).
The channel’s great innovation was it’s ability to channel great talent into one place and keep them churning out consistent work. Shows like the wildly nihilistic and funny Arby n the Chief and the sketch comedy Sanity Not Included represented much of the best output of Machinima at the height of it’s popularity. Smaller but solid shows like the cult hit Phil also joined the highlights of Machinima at it’s height. Even with all the strong headliners Machinima’s best gift to the form was it’s ability to promote and release the smaller, less well know shorts that talented Machinima creators were churning out. Wonderful comedic bits like The De-Ranker, Gears of Halo-Theft Auto 5, New Halo Update, Birthday Surprise, The Wall, Bungie Police and Everything is Going to Be Alright hit the web to enormous fanfare with hundreds of thousands, sometimes even millions of views. For me though, one of these sketches has always stood above it’s contemporaries. Though seemingly innocuous on it’s surface and rather lacking a flashy surface compared to it’s contemporaries, i’ve always felt that this short stands head and shoulders above it’s entire medium for the very simple reason that it may be it’s entire form’s example of a pure artistic statement. That short is titled Borealis.
youtube
As much as anyone else i’m all about fun and games. Machinima is nothing if it isn’t a great form for comedy. The inherent problem with Machinima as a form though is that of any art form I can imagine, no other one suffers such enormous creative limitations as Machinima. This genre quite literally is trapped within the confines of the games it is based on. Complex storytelling is immediately forced down by the inevitability of having to find some sort of in story explanation why everyone wears armored suites and carries assault rifles. Naturally there are a few get out of jail free cards for Machinima writers to pull in a pinch. 1. Set the Story Within the confines of Playing a Multiplayer Video Game 2. Set the Story Within the Canonical Universe of the Game
These solutions worth well in a pinch and many great Machinima creators worked out great sketches using them. The problem of course with this comes down to esotericism. Either of these options leaves you telling a story about either Halo or the experience of playing Halo. That’s it. Given that most creators working in Machinima weren’t master storytellers it was rare to see shorts that didn’t devolve into self reference and inside jokes for die hard gamers. Right off the bat this is a huge part of what makes Borealis so unique amongst it’s peers. It manages to be a story both separate from and informed by it’s origins.
There is no reference in the short at all to Halo or any elements of the stories involved. On the flip side of things, with the exception of the voice acting no element of the short’s production exists outside of the game work. Even the music itself is drawn from the soundtrack of Halo 3: ODST. It’s an excellent synthesis of machinima’s natural limitations being embodied by an original story. On top of that it’s one of the only memorable Machinima I know of that wasn’t a comedy. Most series and shorts chose comedy because the absurdity made for good humor. Borealis actually chooses the harder root and tries to tell a serious story. The end result is a haunting, melancholy little poem about anxiety and one’s place in the greater scheme of things.
On the downside it isn’t a subtle exploration of the topic. The story doesn’t give way to much real drama and the characters play out the themes of the piece word for word telling you pretty much exactly what they want you to think about. Greater implications can be thought of but I can’t imagine many of these characters truly existing beyond the small six minute snippet that we actually get shown in the picture. To be fair of course much of this is problems of the genre of Machinima as a whole as opposed to merely being this film’s fault. With rare exceptions Machinima isn’t an art form guided by a subtle hand. It’s primarily a niche entertainment genre and it has it’s strengths in inside jokes and subtle nodes to things most fans of Halo and other games would recognize. The closest I can imagine to a subtle hand in the genre comes out of later years Arby n the Chief which heavily relied upon darker themes and shocking plot turns. Borealis flaws and all certainly holds up amongst the best of them.
When I call Borealis a poem I truly mean it as such. More than in it’s storytelling I find it to be a surprisingly thoughtful spoken word speech of these two characters musing on their place in the universe at one small place in one small time. This is a story about a confused young person being guided by an external force to help set his place in the universe. He starts out as a soldier, confused and alone. Sergeant Gabrial shepards him through his moment of frustration to find perspective to the state of things. His life will ultimately be defined by his choices. He very much is a small, insignificant person lost in the universe, but that universe will remember him for what he choses. The short then ends on a question to the viewer asking them the same haunting question. How will the things you do echo in the halls of eternity?
Director Robert Merritt of Hallow Robot Productions who originally collaborated with Machinima’s Directing Program, Euphorian Films and Daemon Productions was kind enough to sit down with me for a Skype interview last fall to discuss the film and the eventual decline of Machinima and Machinima.com. Unfortunately coinciding with the departure of director Jon Graham from Arby n the Chief in 2013, Machinima.com began phasing out it’s directors program. In time regular contacts to the site began falling out and more and more films were being rejected as the company’s internal politics shifted and the company moved to reshape itself into something more legitimate from a business standpoint. The channel has gone on to partner with a number of major corporations in providing distribution for content for series such as Halo and the Justice League. Creators like Lyle Burrus and Dexter Manning who had previously highly successful jobs with Machinima broke out onto their own and eventually ceased YouTube as their full-time work. Several members of Machinima’s internal gaming crew once known as Inside Gaming even fled ship and reformed as a subsidiary of Rooster Teeth known as Funhaus. Rooster Teeth itself which still maintain’s Red vs Blue as it’s theoretical flagship has diversified it’s content so widely into live action comedy sketches, reality TV, feature films, gaming commentary and animation has largely abandoned Machinima it’s focus. Similarly so most of Borealis’s creators have moved on to various pursuits such as video game live streaming, video game development and filmmaking. Robert himself is currently working video games and CGI animation. He was involved in production of the flash game Office Freakout which was featured by YouTube celebrity Markiplier and works commission in independent filmmaking.
youtube
Machinima’s moment in the sun has long since passed. While legacies such as the recently revitalized Arby n the Chief: Season 8 have popped up on occasion even the developers of Halo themselves have largely moved on from the fad, making Machinima in games like Halo 5: Guardians almost impossible by way of certain game restrictions. Given that little hustle has come up about it’s affect on Machinima it’s safe to say it hasn’t had a large effect.
All that said, as Borealis shows our legacy echoes in eternity. The internet offers a database of potentially infinite possibility and the ability to preserve information for centuries to come. I’ll certainly remember Borealis, Red vs Blue, Arby n the Chief, Sanity Not Included and the numerous other Machinima's that defined this movement. As with legacy, great stories never die.

Why the Halo Movie Failed to Launch
Why the Halo Movie Failed to Launch
Tumblr media
The Master Chiefs left the offices of Creative Artists Agency around midday on June 6, 2005, in a fleet of limo vans. In their green, red and blue Spartan armour the cybernetically-enhanced super soldiers made quite a spectacle. Each stood six-foot-three tall, visored helmets obscuring their faces. Each carried a red bound document folder stamped with the CAA logo that contained two things: a…

Go to Company Expert’s homepage for more stories.
You stuck at home?
However when you’re through with that stuff, and find yourself bored once again, here are some killer tips for the best video games to play.
Dive into a spectacular, huge world with “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.”
Nintendo.
Much of the setup for “Breath of the Wild” took place 100 years in the past. The game expects that you (Link) and Princess Zelda– the long time heroine of the series– failed in a significant battle versus antagonist Ganon.
Platform( s): Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo Switch
Laugh your face off with family and friends of any ages with any/all of the “Jackbox Party Load” video game packages.
Jackbox Games.
Ignore Parcheesi– your family and friends will have much more fun with absurd and wonderful Jackbox Games classics like “Quiplash” and, obviously, “You Do Not Know Jack.”
There are so many benefits to the excellent “Jackbox Party Packs.” They come with a lot of video games in each, they’re playable with a lot of individuals without any additional hardware, they’re offered on every platform, and they’re a ton of fun.
Each pack includes a handful of different video games, and each game is its own parlor game. Some are concentrated on trivia while others are closer to Mad Libs or Pictionary. The games are widely smart, simple to discover, and extremely replayable.
More than anything else on this list, the “Jackbox” video games are accessible for anyone– whether you have actually played great deals of computer game or never ever held a controller in your life.
Platform( s): Basically everything, including every game console, computer system platform, and a lot of set-top boxes.
Chill with “Stardew Valley.” Simply chill.
Stardew Valley.
” The best method to explain the video game, as a whole, is ‘lovely,'” my coworker, Matt Weinberger, wrote in a 2018 enjoy letter to “Stardew Valley.”
” There’s no real pressure,” he composed. Simply put, “Stardew Valley” is a really chill video game. And in these trying times, couldn’t you use a chill game?
Here’s how Matt described the game:
” You are a city-slicker who inherits his late grandpa’s dilapidated farm. It depends on you to plant crops, break rocks, slice wood, and cut yard to bring back the farm to its former glory. And as your farming expertise grows, so too will your relationship with your neighbors in the town of Stardew Valley, the game’s namesake. If you ever played the timeless Super Nintendo title ‘Harvest Moon,’ the video game’s inspiration, you understand what to expect.”
Better still: Considering that releasing back in 2016, the game has gotten a string of considerable, free updates that included major features like online multiplayer.
Instead of rejuvenating Twitter, why not water some crops and tend to some chickens? Now is the ideal time for some self care.
Platform( s): PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Change, PC, Mac, iOS, Android
Master battle royale video games: “Fortnite,” “Pinnacle Legends,” and “Call of Responsibility: Warzone” are all free– and excellent.
EA/Respawn Entertainment.
In Between “Fortnite,” “Pinnacle Legends,” and “Call of Task: Warzone,” there is a ton of enjoyable to be had for no dollars.
Each of these video games belongs to the extremely zeitgeisty fight royale game genre, which derived its name from the movie of the same name in which a group of high schoolers combat to the death on an island.
It can be intimidating in the beginning, however the genre rewards mastery– and if you’ve got a lot of time inside, why not invest it becoming a battle royale master?
Platform( s): PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Change, PC, Mac, iOS, Android
Discover your childhood with the Nintendo Switch Online retro games from NES and Super NES.
Nintendo.
Nintendo Change Online is Nintendo’s variation of PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold– in order to play video games online, you must spend for a membership.
That unto itself isn’t extremely interesting, however the library of retro video games that includes the Nintendo Switch Online membership certainly is! For $20/ year, Nintendo offers a library of over 60 timeless games from the Nintendo Home Entertainment System and Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
The list consists of several significant “Super Mario Bros.” video games, numerous significant “The Legend of Zelda” video games, and lots of other classics– from “River City Ransom” to “Pilotwings.”
Nintendo Switch Online is, honestly, a significant anticipate what you’re getting: Literally lots of Nintendo classics across two timeless game consoles. Those video games likewise include contemporary amenities, like save states that allow you to stop video games anywhere you desire and jump back in exactly where you left off.
Platform( s): Nintendo Switch
Or play some of the very best brand-new games with the huge instant library of Xbox Video game Pass.
Microsoft.
Perhaps you’re not into the retro thing, and you’re aiming to play things like “Grand Theft Auto 5” and “The Witcher 3”? A somewhat costlier, but likewise exceptional option exists in Xbox Game Pass.
For $10/ month, Xbox Video game Pass offers access to a library of over 100 games. Every brand-new game that Microsoft publishes, from “Forza” to “Halo,” is offered through Game Pass at launch, in addition to a broad library of major third-party games, like the previously mentioned “Grand Theft Vehicle 5” and “The Witcher 3.” It likewise features replayable stuff like “NBA 2K20” and “Tekken 7.”
If you own an Xbox, there are couple of better offers to be discovered in video gaming– and if you’re looking for a library of video games to play while passing the time inside, look no more than Game Pass.
Platform( s): Xbox One, PC
Loading Something is packing.
Play all the big PlayStation 4 exclusives you have not yet, from “Marvel’s Spider-Man” to “God of War” and “The Last of Us.”
Marvel’s Spider-Man.
There are too lots of excellent games on the PlayStation 4.
” God of War” is an excellent, gorgeous action video game with an unexpected depth to its characters.
” The Last of United States” takes the endlessly retread trope of the zombie armageddon and uses it to stunningly psychological ends in a game that assists to move the entire genre forward.
Accept your inner divine being while clearing lines in the very best “Tetris” video game ever made, “Tetris Result.”
Enhance/The Tetris Business.
” Tetris Effect” takes a fundamental game (” Tetris”), performs it completely, and crucially evolves the principle into something totally fresh.
The foundation of “Tetris Impact” is still concentrated on creating and clearing lines from the play field as brand-new blocks are randomly created from the top. There is no significant shift or development in this regard– “Tetris Impact” is, at its core, a “Tetris” video game.
The game’s title seems like a mental phenomenon– and it is, in truth, exactly that: where gamers begin “seeing” the patterns of “Tetris” on the planet or in their mind as they wander off to sleep. “Tetris Effect,” the game, takes that and twists it back on itself.
Throughout gameplay, a synaesthetic journey takes place in the background. With each twist of the “Tetris” block (” tetronimo”) and lateral movement, the game’s music responds in turn. While this acoustic partnership occurs, the game’s background visuals take gamers on a journey through space, or the oceans, or across a huge desert.
It’s surreal, lovely, intense– and it’s much more than a parlor trick.
Beyond offering an extra audio/visual part, these synaesthetic effects serve to additional imprint the game’s seemingly simple gameplay into consciousness. It deepens an already flow-like experience.
Platform( s): PlayStation 4, PC
Hit the road with the slow-pourin’ “Red Dead Redemption 2.”
Rockstar Games.
On its surface, “Red Dead Redemption 2” is a cowboy game about six-shooters, burglaries, and living outside the law. It’s a Western-styled shooting game with a huge open world. The game’s advertising tagline says all of it: “Hooligans for life.”
Rockstar’s fictionalized 1899 America is a stunning, deep, remarkably slow-paced experience that concentrates on one male’s journey of self-realization.
” Outlaws for life” seems like a fight cry, but in “Red Dead Redemption 2” it’s really a desperate effort to hold together a lifestyle that’s quickly ending up being untenable.
” Red Dead Redemption 2″ is also an absolutely huge journey of a game– the “There Will Be Blood” of computer game, that needs as big an intellectual financial investment as it does time. If there’s a better time to dive into such an endeavor than today, while stuck inside your home, I do not know it.
Platform( s): PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC

Subliminal Video Packages - Don't Get Scammed!
The advantages for the consumer are huge, specially in this very day and age of high gasoline rates and bad traffic. Who would like to push everywhere to move get their video content when it can only be downloaded? A mouse click is a lot more convenient. As more folks see their facebook video downloader as the biggest market of their leisure program, the times of the movie store are numbered. With the launch of Microsoft's Vista operating system, which has incredible integrated video and leisure functions, the buyer needed still another massive stage toward adopting their computer as the biggest market of their amusement universe. As thousands of people obtained iPODs and to a smaller extent Microsoft Zunes for cellular movie observing, they've become accustom to having their material saved, as opposed to really awaiting it to be shipped or driving to get it themselves. The 5th era of the iPOD and the launch of the Zune in the last fraction of 2006 have demonstrated incredibly successful. The release of the video able iPOD helped apple sell 14 million models in the 4th quarter of 2005 alone. The Zune has experienced notably slower revenue, despite a bigger, lighter full-color monitor and WiFi network potential, two characteristics which should have served Microsoft close the gap with Apple. A lot of reasons why the Zune has unsuccessful to market on a par with the iPOD are due to Microsoft's advertising technique for the player. As an example, although the Zune will come in many colors, Microsoft has failed to adequately speak this fact to the getting public. An additional reason for the Zune's slow revenue has related to Microsoft's tendency to describe the Zune with marketingspeak, in place of clearly trying to explain to customers why they need one. Here is Microsoft talking about the Zune: "It's really not just a device. It's an entrant into the new attached entertainment industry for making new provided and cultural experiences centered about content" Huh??? In May possibly of 2007, Microsoft tried to opposite their previous failure to fully capture the creativity of people with the introduction of the Halo 3 release of the Zune. That unique model is laden with particular Phone sound and video content, including Phone soundtracks, theatrical trailers, and a special episode of Red versus Orange just readily available for the Zune. It's also emblazoned with Phone 3 graphics. At press time, the Phone 3 release of the Zune is offered by Game Stop. You can find fewer technical reasons why the Zune has failed to fall the iPOD in the lightweight video participant marketplace. Probably the principal you have to do with their inexplicable decision to banish a search wheel variety the Zune's function set. Whilst it has a control that looks for the earth like a search wheel, it's really a 4-way cursor key, like on a TV distant control. A 4-way cursor isn't how many customers want to manage their portable movie participants, so they have chosen using their dollars in support of the iPOD. That said, the Zune can be a great player, and the video quality is great for a tiny portable. For those consumers who've acquired their products with this in mind, they've the ability to get and enjoy a variety of movies, TV reveals and films on a very nice, portable platform. Tumblr media
One day shortly, young children would not even know what a video clip retail store is. All video clips and films will be downloaded, generating a vacation to the video retail outlet an anachronism. You should not giggle. The up coming time you inquire a child to roll down the home windows, and they inquire why individuals say that, you'll know what I necessarily mean. They will shortly feel the identical way about going to rent a film. The positive aspects for the buyer are large, in particular in this working day and age of large gas rates and awful site visitors. Who needs to generate anywhere to go get their online video content when it can only be downloaded? A mouse click on is so significantly additional convenient. As extra persons watch their pc as the middle of their leisure technique, the times of the movie keep are numbered.   If you have any kind of inquiries regarding where and the best ways to use facebook video downloader, you can contact us at our web-site. With the release of Microsoft's Vista working process, which has incredible built-in online video and leisure abilities, the client took a further huge move towards adopting their personal computer as the heart of their amusement universe. As millions of persons ordered iPODs and to a lesser extent Microsoft Zunes for cellular movie viewing, they have grow to be accustom to possessing their content downloaded, as opposed to actually waiting for it to be shipped or driving to get it on their own. The 5th generation of the iPOD and the release of the Zune in the past quarter of 2006 have proved extremely prosperous. The launch of the video clip capable iPOD served apple provide fourteen million units in the 4th quarter of 2005 by itself. The Zune has skilled somewhat slower gross sales, irrespective of a larger, brighter full-color monitor and WiFi networking functionality, two attributes that really should have served Microsoft near the gap with Apple. Several of the reasons why the Zune has failed to market on a par with the iPOD are thanks to Microsoft's advertising strategy for the participant. For instance, while the Zune comes in lots of colors, Microsoft has unsuccessful to sufficiently talk this reality to the acquiring general public. A 2nd rationale for the Zune's gradual profits has to do with Microsoft's propensity to explain the Zune with marketingspeak, as an alternative of plainly outlining to shoppers why they want just one. Here is Microsoft conversing about the Zune: "It is truly not a unit. It really is an entrant into the new linked entertainment market place for building new shared and social activities primarily based about articles" Huh??? In May possibly of 2007, Microsoft experimented with to reverse their former failure to capture the creativity of individuals with the introduction of the Halo 3 version of the Zune. This distinctive edition is loaded with unique Halo audio and online video written content, like Halo soundtracks, theatrical trailers, and a special episode of Purple vs Blue only available for the Zune. It can be also emblazoned with Halo 3 graphics. At press time, the Halo 3 edition of the Zune is only available at Video game Halt. There are fewer technological explanations why the Zune has failed to topple the iPOD in the transportable video player marketplace. Perhaps the most important 1 has to do with their inexplicable choice to exclude a scroll wheel form the Zune's aspect established. Whilst it has a manage that appears for all the environment like a scroll wheel, it's essentially a four-way cursor button, like on a Television distant manage. A four-way cursor is not how many consumers want to control their portable movie gamers, so they have voted with their pounds in favor of the iPOD. That becoming explained, the Zune is truly a amazing player, and the video clip top quality is good for a modest portable. For people people who have bought their models with that in thoughts, they have the ability to down load and delight in all sorts of films, Television set demonstrates and films on a very wonderful, moveable system. The iPOD will make it possible for the use of Apple's AAC codec, MP3, Apple Lossless, AIF, or WAV formats for audio downloads. Movie information is supported in H.264, which is also known as MPEG-4 portion ten. This is a standard for superior excellent, compressed movie. The Zune utilizes, one particular guess here, Microsoft's WMA and WMV formats for audio and movie respectively. The Zune also supports H.264 for online video and MP3 or AAC for audio. Both equally gamers will permit JPEG picture formats. There are a lot of file structure converters accessible for use with the two players to help online video in other formats and resolutions to be converted and optimized for storage and use with the transportable players. There are lots of spots to get downloadable movie written content for each the iPOD and the Zune. If you're an iPOD consumer, there's definitely iTunes, which features tunes for $.99 per downloaded track. Whilst this is effortless and features a remarkable variety of accessible articles, customers really should be geared up to commit important amounts of cash filling up a player. You can also fill your iPOD or Zune with MP3 data files ripped from CDs or downloaded from other on the net audio suppliers. Microsoft offers the Zune Marketplace, a subscription assistance with limitless downloads for $fourteen.99/ thirty day period as this is prepared. The endless possibility is termed the "Zune Go" by Microsoft. Zune consumers are ready to down load person tunes or entire albums. In June of 2007, Microsoft began partnering with numerous artists to encourage their both their download service and the Zune player by itself. A popular solution chosen by lots of people is one particular of many limitless video clip down load services. With these services, you spend a a person time charge, usually involving $30 and $75, and are then equipped to download an limitless amount of money of songs and video clip content. Clearly, numerous buyers really feel that it can make more economic perception to go after this solution, instead of the membership dependent download product. Some of these networks have a remarkable volume of articles readily available, and include Tv demonstrates and movies, in addition to music and music video clips. With most of these products and services, the moment the content is downloaded it can be forever obtainable for use. With some of the subscription primarily based unlimited down load expert services when the subscription is terminated, entry to previously downloaded material is denied. Only time will tell if the powers that be crack down on solutions making use of this organization product.

How to Download Videos to Your youtube
Are website to download youtube videos you like me who always looks forward to a weekend (Friday specifically so that you get to watch your favourite video website to download youtube videos to phone ?
If yes, you know that it is expensive to cover those video rental fees. Not so?
This is a scenario which I faced for some years until I decided that I should look for an option to paying those monthly charges so that I can get to shoot my movies home every Friday. And in addition to the monthly membership fee, I needed to pay every movie/video that I was carrying home.
So I went to Google and typed in "free video download"
! I received 358,000,000 results. Wow, that's a number.
This usually means that there are that number of something related to some more information on wikipedia video download or websites where you can get totally free video download.
So given that fact that there are free download software programs available to download free music videos and video games on the internet, before you use one of those absolutely free video download programs you might want to understand what you want to look for.
I have joined many video download websites and I have got the good and the bad experience about them. So below are the 6 most things that you need to look for in a video download website.
1- There should be no monthly charges or any per movie download fee. If any website claims to offer video downloads and then asks you for any fee of any type, I advise that you steer clear of it. However, the best free video download websites will ask for a one time monthly fee to help them keep there services and sources for these videos for you. That's okay. From my experience these are the websites that really give the videos you need of quality to you.
2- Quality of these videos downloaded: Here is some how related to the point. From my experience video sites that do not request a membership fee generally provide some blurred, quality videos and the likes. You see the most popular video website youtube, there are various videos, it is totally free to join but what about the character of the videos you get?
3-Download limitations: There ought to not be a download limits what so ever. Most websites limit the Number of videos you can download per day, some per others along with hour per
session. These aren't great and I would not advise that you join them.
Safety and the protection of your machine or computer. What I mean here is that you should be stress of most free download sites. Most have the ability to infect your computer with adware, viruses and spy ware. For your safety and the safety of your machine, you need to keep away from these. How can you know that this
Site will infect your machine with spyware and viruses? My response is that appearance for some one who has been there, seen it and experienced its recommendation, although that's a question. I've joined many of such free video download sites and an overview is provided by me in my website because you can see in my resource box.
5-How about the amount of movies? I think we all would require the website to get as many videos. It would be no great for you to join a Website which
Has only 10 million videos it is usually listed at the home and when you can get one with over 100 videos.Look outside for such Page of the website where you get to join and become a member of the website.
6-Variety: While websites will offer one type of videos like music videos, others will provide you access to music videos, movie videos, video games and other software which you could download. That is the variety I mean here. Search for download sites that could offer you such selection.
Well, there are lots of things I will talk about here such as the speed the customer support and more. But I hope the above can provide you a hint of what you should look for in a free video download website.
One day soon, kids won't even understand what there is a shop. Movies and all videos will be downloaded, creating a visit. Do not laugh. Next time you ask the chimney to roll down, and they inquire folks say that, you will know what I mean. They think exactly the same way.
The advantages for the customer are enormous, particularly in this time of high gasoline prices and terrible traffic. Who wants to drive anyplace to go when it can be downloaded get their content? There is A mouse click much more convenient. The times of the shop are numbered as their personal download instagram videos online free computer is viewed by more people as the center of the entertainment program. With the release of Microsoft's Vista operating system, which has entertainment abilities and tremendous integrated video, the user took another step in adopting their computer as the entertainment universe's center.
As millions of individuals bought iPODs and to a lesser extent Microsoft Zunes for video screening, they've become accustom to getting their articles downloaded, instead of forcing to receive it themselves or waiting for it to be sent. The generation of the release of this Zune at the previous quarter of 2006 and the iPOD http://www.grabfrom.net have proved incredibly successful. The launch of this video capable iPOD helped apple market 14 million units in the 4th quarter of 2005 alone. Sales has been undergone by the Zune, despite WiFi networking capability and a brighter full-color display, two attributes that have to have helped the gap closes with Apple.
A number of the reasons why the Zune has failed to sell on a level with the iPOD are because of Microsoft's marketing strategy for the participant. For instance, although the Zune comes from several colours, Microsoft has failed to adequately communicate this fact to the buying public. A second reason for the Zune's slow sales has to do with Microsoft's propensity to describe the Zune using marketingspeak, instead of clearly explaining to customers. Here is Microsoft talking about the Zune: "It's actually not a gadget. It's an entrant to the new connected entertainment marketplace for producing new shared and societal adventures based around content" Huh???
In May of 2007, Microsoft tried to reverse their failure to catch the imagination of customers with the Halo 3 variant of their Zune's introduction. This special edition is packed with special download youtube videos mp4 1080p online sound and video content, including a special episode of Red vs Blue accessible for your Zune , theatrical trailers, and Halo soundtracks. It's also emblazoned with Halo 3 images.
At press time, the Zune's Halo 3 variant is only available at Game Stop.
There are fewer technical explanations for the Zune has failed to topple the iPOD in the mobile video player marketplace. The main one has to do with their decision to exclude a scroll wheel Type the feature set of the Zune. It is actually a 4-way cursor button, such as on a TV remote control while it's a control that looks for all the world like a scroll wheel. A cursor is not many consumers want to dominate their mobile video players,
So they've voted with their dollars. That being said, that the Zune is a truly fantastic player, and the quality is good for a small mobile. For those users who have bought their components they have the ability to download and enjoy all sorts of TV shows, movies and films on a very nice platform.
The iPOD will permit the use of Apple's AAC codec, Apple Lossless, MP3, AIF, or WAV formats. Video content is supported in H.264, which is also known as MPEG-4 part 10. This is a standard for high quality, compressed video. The Zune utilizes, one guess here, Microsoft's WMA and WMV formats for both audio and published here video respectively. The Zune also supports H.264 for video and MP3 or AAC for audio. The two players will allow JPEG image formats. There are many file format converters available to allow video in different resolutions and formats to be converted and optimized for storage and use with the mobile players.
There are many areas to receive downloadable video content for the Zune and the iPOD. If you are an iPOD user, there's obviously iTunes, which offers music for $.99 per downloaded song. Although this is convenient and offers a huge variety of content that was available, customers should be ready to devote significant amounts of cash filling up a participant. You could fill your iPOD or even Zune with MP3 files ripped from CDs or downloaded from other online music providers.
Microsoft offers the Zune Marketplace, a subscription service with unlimited downloads for $14.99/ month because this is written. The unlimited option is known as the "Zune Pass" by Microsoft. Zune users are able to download complete albums or individual songs. In June of 2007, Microsoft started partnering with various artists to advertise their both their service and the Zune player itself.
A popular option chosen by consumers is just one of video download services that are boundless. With these solutions, you pay a 1 time fee and are able to obtain an unlimited quantity of video and music content. Obviously, many consumers feel that it makes sense to pursue this approach, instead of the subscription. A number of the networks have a tremendous amount of content available, and contain films and TV shows, in addition to music and music videos.
With the majority of these services, once the material is downloaded it is permanently accessible for use. With some of the subscription based unlimited download solutions instagram downloader online mp3 once the subscription is terminated, access to articles that was downloaded is denied. Only time will tell if the powers which are crack down on services.
Ipod is a must have gadget now and you are not updated with the newest technology should youn't own one. Ipod is not just for music, it is also a movie player and website to download youtube videos on android you can watch TV shows and play games too. 9 THINGS WE CAN LEARN FROM MARK ZUCKERBERG'S COMMENCEMENT ADDRESS
Tumblr media
Haven't you often heard people saying "If you want to achieve something great like Mark Zuckerberg, then do not complete your graduation." Well, people cannot say this anymore because on 25th May, 2017 his alma mater, Harvard University awarded him with an honorary doctor of law degree and it was in some style. He became the youngest commencement speaker in the history of Harvard University after he delivered his speech. In his thirty three minute long speech addressed to the 'Class of 2017' he spoke about his college memories and how purpose was important for the progress of the world. Dotted with light humour and high on emotion throughout, this speech by Zuckerberg is something no one should miss. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, is presented with an honorary Doctor of Laws degree by Vice President and Secretary of Harvard University Marc Goodheart, during Harvard University commencement exercises, Thursday, May 25, 2017, in Cambridge, Mass. This speech gives us an insight into the internet entrepreneur's mind. One would think being the computer programming genius he is, he would be spending majority of his time coding but believe me there is more to this man than only Facebook. Let us have a detailed look at what he wanted to convey to the 'Class of 2017' as well as the entire world.
1.Stay humble no matter how big you make it in life
Zuckerberg being introduced to the crowd. One can see Zuckerberg's humbleness even before he steps onto the podium. He could just have shaken hands formally with the presenter but he chose to give him a warm hug instead. One might feel this gesture is redundant but a warm hug does boost the morale of a person significantly. Especially when the person hugging you is Mark Zuckerberg you ought to feel special. This is the level of humbleness one must aspire to maintain. Often these inadvertent gestures from us can end up meaning a lot to people around us. At the start of the speech he says that he felt honoured to be standing amongst a batch of people who could do something that he never could. He even goes on to say that he felt that he was an unlikely speaker not only because he was a drop out but also because he felt that he was in the same generation as the recent graduates. These simple words speak volumes about the man's humbleness.
2.Always be nice to others
Zuckerberg and KX Jin celebrating the latter's 10th anniversary with Facebook. He shares his memories of his first lecture at Harvard. As he was getting late for his class, he wore a t-shirt inside out and backwards without realising it. Seeing him dressed so weirdly none of his classmates talked to him except one Kang Xiang Jin. Jin did not mind his strange attire and decided to strike a chord of friendship with him. The reward for being nice can be seen today as Kang Xiang Jin is in charge of a big part of the Facebook Application and is one of Facebook's oldest employees.
3.Have a purpose in life
Zuckerberg getting emotional while speaking about purpose. This is the topic on which this speech primarily focuses. He says that its not enough just to have a purpose in life. He wants this generation to create a world where everyone has a sense of purpose. "Purpose is that sense that we are part of something bigger than ourselves, that we are needed, that we have something better ahead to work for. Purpose is what creates true happiness." He feels lack of purpose is causing many people to feel depressed and disconnected from the society. The rate of crimes in the world, the number of people addicted to drugs would all decrease if people are motivated to do something. This is why having a purpose is so essential.
4.Believe in yourself
Zuckerberg shares his memories of the night he launched Facebook. He says they were excited with the idea of connecting the Harvard community but they had never thought that one day they would be able to connect the world. He had just assumed that one of the big technology companies would come up with something to create the world. However the idea and mission to connect the world was very clear to him and his mates. Today we all witness the extent to which their self belief and confidence has brought them to. "There were all these big technology companies with resources. I just assumed one of them would do it. But this idea was so clear to us — that all people want to connect. So we just kept moving forward, day by day. I know a lot of you will have your own stories just like this. A change in the world that seems so clear you're sure someone else will do it. But they won't. You will."
5.No idea is perfect, work on it to make it perfect
He urges people to start working on their ideas. He tells people that movies and pop culture have tainted our thought process due to which we feel inadequate and inferior if we do not get a fully framed idea. "Ideas don't come out fully formed. They only become clear as you work on them. You just have to get started." "Movies and pop culture get this all wrong. The idea of a single eureka moment is a dangerous lie. It makes us feel inadequate since we haven’t had ours. It prevents people with seeds of good ideas from getting started." He cites examples from his own life, from the making of the Hoover dam and from man's mission to moon to prove his points. These words are highly inspiring to everyone who aspires to be an entrepreneur. "Every generation has its defining works. More than 300,000 people worked to put a man on the moon – including that janitor. Millions of volunteers immunized children around the world against polio. Millions of more people built the Hoover dam and other great projects."
6.Be prepared to be misunderstood
This is a very valid point in today's context. With the growing global population its almost impossible to satisfy everyone's wishes. No matter what our motive maybe there would always be a few to oppose us but that should not prevent us from continuing with our work. "It's good to be idealistic. But be prepared to be misunderstood. Anyone working on a big vision will get called crazy, even if you end up right. Anyone working on a complex problem will get blamed for not fully understanding the challenge, even though it's impossible to know everything upfront. Anyone taking initiative will get criticized for moving too fast, because there's always someone who wants to slow you down."
7.Do not be afraid to fail
The fear of failure is something which prevents many of us from embarking on our journeys towards greatness. He feels everyone should have the freedom to fail and come up with something better next time. Citing examples from his own life and the lives of J.K. Rowling he tries to urge people to take up entrepreneurial roles in the society without getting afraid. "In our society, we often don't do big things because we're so afraid of making mistakes that we ignore all the things wrong today if we do nothing. The reality is, anything we do will have issues in the future. But that can't keep us from starting." "Now, an entrepreneurial culture thrives when it’s easy to try lots of new ideas. Facebook wasn’t the first thing I built. I also built games, chat systems, study tools and music players. I’m not alone. JK Rowling got rejected 12 times before publishing Harry Potter. Even Beyonce had to make hundreds of songs to get Halo. The greatest successes come from having the freedom to fail."
8.How we can contribute to the society
There are lots of people in the present society for whom life is not so easy. They have to deal with racial discrimination, poverty and many other social evils. Zuckerberg wants us to help such people by not only contributing money but also by spending time with them. He himself takes out time from his gruelling schedule and takes classes on entrepreneurship at a local Boys and Girls Club. "We can all make time to give someone a hand. Let's give everyone the freedom to pursue their purpose — not only because it's the right thing to do, but because when more people can turn their dreams into something great, we're all better for it."
9.How we can change the world
Zuckerberg believes that its our generation which will change the world for the better. Modernising democracy so that people can vote online, devising methods to stop climate change are some of his visions for the future . He says that this change would start locally and depend on our ability to build communities where every single person has a sense of purpose. "Change starts local. Even global changes start small — with people like us. In our generation, the struggle of whether we connect more, whether we achieve our biggest opportunities, comes down to this — your ability to build communities and create a world where every single person has a sense of purpose."   Image credits- Google Images, Dailymail, Facebook Click to Post
