Hen and Chimney casually mentioned that Eddie doesn't get flustered. Buck who's sat nearby on his phone doesn't even look up when he offhandedly says 'Yeah, he does.' Hen and Chim look at him dubiously.
'When?' Chim asks.
Buck looks up, now. 'Like all the time.'
'Name one time' Chim challenges.
'I'm with Chim on this one. I've never really seen Eddie flustered.'
Now Buck is the one looking dubious. 'Um, like when...uh...' His mind suddenly goes blank.
'See. You can't even give an example.' Chim gloats.
'Hey, no that's not fair. You put me on the spot.' Buck argues. 'He...like yesterday! He made me a coffee and said he'd already put sugar in it, yeah? And I said that's so sweet of you. And he blushed!'
'Are you sure he was blushing.' Hen asks clearly not buying it.
'Yeah, maybe he was just warm.' Chim counters.
'I'm telling you, he blushed!' Buck exclaims.
Hen and Chimney continue to look at him sceptically.
'Prove it.' Chimney challenges
'What?'
'Prove. It.' Chimney grins.
Buck just stares in disbelief for a moment before he caves. 'Alright, fine. I'll prove it. I'll get him flustered and you can see for yourself.'
This is how Buck ends up making a fool of himself later in the day when they're just finishing up on a call and Eddie is just frowning at him, confused, not at all effected by Bucks lame attempt to get him flustered.
Buck walks back towards Hen and Chimney in defeat. 'We're out on a call, he probably just has his guard up.' Buck defends.
'Uh huh.' is Hen's response to that. Chimney just snaps his gum, grinning.
Buck attempts a cheesy one liner when they're back at the firehouse. This earns him a part way baffled and part way amused chuckle from Eddie when he responds with 'Alright.' looking to Chim and Hen with an ~Are you seeing this?~ expression. Hen and Chim just hide their amusement behind their mugs.
Buck tries a few more times before giving up.
'Fine. You guys were right. Eddie is unflappable. I clearly don't know what I was talking about.'
'Hey, at least it was fun to watch you try.' Chimney teases. Hen smiles in amusement.
And that was that until much later on when Buck is cooking dinner and Eddie is helping. Buck comes up behind Eddie to reach for something over his shoulder and without thinking says 'Man, you smell good!' He turns his head just shy of pressing his nose to Eddie's neck. 'What is that?'
The spatula in Eddie's hand clatters to the floor and in his panic to attempt to catch it he elbows over the salt shaker. A deep red creeps up his neck and settles in his cheeks as he rights the salt shaker. He clears his throat. 'Uh, it's, uh ,the cologne you...um got me for my birthday last year.' Eddie attempts to compose himself and bends down to pick up the spatula.
'Really?' Buck asks surprised and oblivious to Eddie's flustered state leans in for another whiff. There's a THWACK sound and Eddie winces as pain blooms in his knee from where he knocked it against the counter.
Hen and Chimney are staring slack jawed from the couch.
'You were right.' Chimney admits, shell shocked.
'Huh?' Buck lifts his head to look at Chimney and Hen. Eddie also snapping his attention in their direction.
'He does get flustered. So very flustered.' Chim says in a daze. 'Not unflappable. Not unflappable at all...'
Eddie frowns in complete bafflement, his face still beet red. 'What?'
#I saw a post today about Eddie and Buck flirting in challenge and this suddenly came to me#It's not well written I had originally planned to write it as a much more vague Headcanon but it turned in to a fic so there's that đđ

If you've ever been reading your social media feed and suddenly noticed that conservative personalities have latched on to some obscure issue theyâve never cared about before, it may well be that theyâre secretly getting paid to do it.
Back in 2013, a host of writersâincluding future Federalist cofounder Ben Domenechâsuddenly all became passionate about rival Malaysian political factions. Surprise: they were receiving hefty payoffs from the Malaysian government.
Last year, Tim Pool, Benny Johnson, and some of the rightâs other big-time YouTubers kept pumping out glossy videos for a new site called Tenet Media. It turned out to be a Kremlin operation. They were on the payroll to the tune of millions of dollars each, though they insisted they didnât know where the money was coming from.
So I watched with interest last week when a host of MAGA types, including comedian Chad Prather, prolific X user Ian Miles Cheong, and Florida pro-Trump personality Eric Daugherty all started, seemingly at random, to defend the right of food-stamp recipients to buy soda.
The posts appeared to be in response to the movement under Robert F. Kennedy Jr.âs âMake America Healthy Againâ banner to get legislatures in states like Idaho and Arizona to pass bills that would ban food-stamp recipients from spending that money on soft drinks or other junk foods. The movement has been received well on the right, where the idea of restricting poor people from buying junk food with welfare benefits is an easy sell.
But then, last week, a wave of MAGA types started to take the pro-soda position. In similarly worded posts, Cheong, Prather, Daugherty, popular MAGA meme account âClown World,â and other X users with big followings said it was unfair for the government to tell recipients how to spend their food-stamp money...
Itâs not like these people were previously big soda fans, either. Cheongâa Malaysian citizen who has become fluent in inane American culture war issues through fights in video-game forumsâsaid just a few years ago that Coca-Cola wants Americans âfat and addicted to sugar.â
But there Cheong was, on Thursday, writing on X that he opposed the government âcurbing Diet Coke purchases.â For emphasis, he attached a picture of Trump guzzling Diet Coke on a golf course.
The first indication that something was afoot came on Friday, when Blake Marnell, an online pro-Trump anchor who goes by âBrick Suitâ (he wears a suit that looks like border-wall bricks), posted comparisons of the pro-soda tweets authored by MAGA influencers, illustrating what appeared to be some sort of coordinated campaign. The attention grew after Turning Point USAâs Riley Gaines claimed on X that sheâd been offered money to oppose the soda bills that had earned praise from RFK Jr. She said that sheâd turned the cash down.
Conservative sleuths claimed the campaign came from Influenceable, a social-media startup aimed at getting Gen-Z influencers to promote companiesâ messaging. One sleuth, Nick Sortor, posted documents purporting to be from Influenceable that laid out talking points for the pro-soda campaign and how influencers could claim money for posting the messages...
In 2023, right-wing website Current Revolt posted documents claiming to show Influenceable payment offers in exchange for social-media posts backing embattled Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
And last week brought us another difficult-to-decipher episode when Cheong, âClown World,â and other right-wing influencers got inexplicably passionate about opposing a Texas Senate electric-grid regulation bill that otherwise received little coverage.

Aizawa x Fem!reader

3.3k w/c. warnings: fem!reader, mention of open relationship (not reader), PIV no protection, creampie, drinking, alcohol and bar stuff (never drank and im not 21 yet), tell me if i forgot stuff, MDNI 18+
NOT EDITED OKAY IM SORRY, banners accredited to @/kafekitsune and thank you to @/mintmatcha for giving me the inspiration for aizawa. enjoy y'all
Water splashes against your boots and droplets adorn your hair. You love the rainâfrom the comfort of your apartment, not when itâs messing up the coat you just had dry cleaned.Â
Maybe itâs worth it, especially when you bump into a beautiful stranger.Â
You donât know who bumped into who but the way these dark, tired eyes bore into yours has you furrowing your brows involuntarily. Youâve never had the prettiest expressions. You try to soften your features, but you fail horribly, it only worsens the natural scowl on your face.
âIâm sorry,â The man's hand reaches out to touch your shoulder, and you can tell that he genuinely means what he says. âI guess I wasnât watching where I was going.âÂ
You shake your head, to anyone else it would look like a twitch with how stiff you are right now. Your stomach sloshes and you canât tell if it's because youâre going to be sick or if youâre getting shy from this guyâs voice.Â
Yeah, you donât believe in love at first sight. Itâs always been something of a fairy tale, nothing to be taken seriously. How can you love someone you just met?Â
âŚThis handsome stranger is making you contemplate everything you thought you've ever known.Â
Youâre lost in thought before you realize that you hadnât responded to what he said and you feel your cheeks heat up at the realization.Â
A breath escapes your lips. âNo, jeez, I donât think I was paying attention to anything but the rain.â You laugh. Itâs more awkward than sincere. âIâm sorry if I bothered you.âÂ
âWhat makes you think youâre bothering me?â His hand is still on your shoulder.Â
His words make your stomach tighten and youâre painfully aware of the way his fingers flex around your shoulder blade. You fight the sudden urge to defend yourself irrationally.Â
âClearly you have someplace to be, or else you wouldnât be walking in this weather.â You reply cooly. The tone of your words shocks you as they leave your lips.Â
He smiles. Itâs barely noticeable, just a small curl of his lip. He feels so familiar but you know for a fact youâve never met him before.Â
âIâm Shouta.âÂ
You give him your name and now youâre both smiling.Â
You can feel the way your cheeks hurt as you gaze at him. Heâs trying to memorize your face and you his. Your eyes scan the way the rain makes his hair damp and stick to his forehead. The soft glisten on the tip of his nose. The droplets that hang on his lashes, heavy and drooping.Â
âLet me buy you a coffee, thereâs a cafe right up the street.â
You pretend to not notice the way he makes the excuse to keep you around. But it doesnât bother you, youâd much rather be with company than home right now anyway.Â
âIâd like that."
︜âšď¸śď¸śŕ¨ŕ§ď¸śď¸śâšď¸ś
You exchanged numbers at the coffee shop but itâs been three days since youâve spoken.
He has your number, and you his. And realistically you could give him a call but you canât help but think that if he wanted to talk to you he would.Â
As you sit at your desk, your fingers hovering over the keys of your laptop, your mind drifts back to that interaction over lattes. How his hands engulfed the mug, how they tore open the small packets of sugar.Â
Your mouth starts to water and you arenât sure if it's because of the memory of the sandwich he ordered you, or the tempting way his lips pressed to the rim of his mug.Â
You shouldnât feel this way about a man you just met, but heâs just so entrancing. So captivating.Â
Your fingers hover over the âSâ key, and your eyes are caught by the swaying leaves of the tree outside your window. Itâs been windy since your date. If you can even call it a date. It was technically more of a meeting.Â
Youâre not left much time to dwell on the specifics before your phone starts to ring from its place on your mattress. The moment you stand you knock into your desk, then the bedpost, almost slipping on the laundry on the floor before picking up the phone with a breathless âhello.âÂ
Itâs Shouta on the other line, his deep voice filling your ears. You smile as he greets you with your name.Â
âYes, thatâs me. Hi Shouta.â You say, trying to come off as flirty and failing horribly. Your voice sounds tired and drawn out.Â
He lets out a low chuckle. âIâm sorry for not calling sooner, Iâve had a hectic time at work. I was planning on calling you as soon as I got things sorted.âÂ
The idea of him thinking about you makes your fingers twitch around the phone, and you chew the hollow of your cheek in thought. âNo, I understand. You mentioned that- your job is like that. It's okay,â God, could you sound more pathetic? You havenât even gone on two dates and you already sound like an overcompensating, pushover girlfriend. Youâre already rolling your eyes over yourself.Â
âIf it isnât too much to ask, would you be willing to go out tonight?â He asks, and his voice has a soft shake to it, almost like heâs nervous to ask.Â
Your cheeks warm and you sit on the edge of your bed, fingers playing with the fabric of your comforter. âI can check to see if Iâm available.â You hum into the receiver. âWhat time were you thinking?â Realistically, you know you have no plans, but you still reach for your calendar.Â
Thereâs a pause, and it almost sounds like heâs scrambling for something on his end before thereâs a response. âDoes seven work? I can send you the address.â
âSevenâs fine. Iâll see you, bye Shouta.â You smile and you hope it sounds like that in your voice.
âSee you then,â He responds, your name fluttering through the receiver and into your ears. The way he says it has your stomach clenching in a way no one else has ever made you feel.Â
This is probably the first time youâve felt excited to go out on a Friday night in years.
︜âšď¸śď¸śŕ¨ŕ§ď¸śď¸śâšď¸ś
âYou know, itâs good that youâre getting back into the dating scene. Maybe youâll want to go out with me and âmuri more.â Hizashi calls out to Shouta from his spot on the dark-haired man's couch. He earns a dreadful groan in response that only makes him smile.Â
Shouta walks back into the room holding two different white button-downs. His face is emotionless as he holds them up expectantly. âI donât want to go out with you and Nemuri, the only things you do are drink and flirt with strangers.âÂ
The blond man gasps, his hand thrown in his chest in faux exasperation. âWe do more than drink and flirt.â He furrows his brows before he looks between the garments. âThe one on the left, the other one looks too formal.âÂ
âYou donât think formal would impress her?â To an outsider, his question seemed cool and casual, but to someone like Hizashi, whoâs known Aizawa for most of his adult life, he could tell his buddy was apprehensive.
âWell, I never met the girl so I wouldnât know. And itâs just a bar, youâll probably drink and sheâll come back to your apartment if you know what I mean. No point in wearing a nice shirt if sheâll just take it off.â Micâs brows wiggle and he swings his legs so he can rest his feet on the wooden coffee table in the center of the room.Â
Aizawa scoffs and shakes his head. âIâm not looking for a hookup, Iâm not a serial dater like you.âÂ
âHey! Look where Iâm at now,â He pouts, waving his ring finger at Shouta, the thick gold band catching in the low light of the apartment. âYou know you want some of that action.â heâs teasing. Yet Shouta canât help but agree.
︜âšď¸śď¸śŕ¨ŕ§ď¸śď¸śâšď¸ś
The bar is quieter than you expected.Â
Living in this city for the past three years, you thought you knew most (if not all) of the hidden gems near your apartment. Shouta seems to like proving your subconscious wrong.Â
Youâre quick to order a drink before you even take your seat, skin itching with the need to get some sort of relaxation. Your heart is beating so loud you can barely hear yourself think.Â
The fresh drink in your hand does little to ease your nerves, the amber liquid staring up at you as you contemplate leaving. Itâs 7:01.Â
A hand is on your back at 7:02 but you already know who it is.Â
âYou look great,â he says, you canât help to notice his crisp white button-down, freshly steamed.Â
âI could say the same about you.â You reply with a smile, popping the cherry from your drink in your mouth. You donât miss the way his eyes glance down at your lips. It gives you a rush.Â
Shouta raises his hand to the back of his neck, his fingers raking through the locks grazing his nape.Â
The sight makes you take a gulp from your drink that's larger than intended. The taste makes your head spin but you need it now more than ever.Â
Your date takes his seat on the stool next to yours, heâs ordering a drink but youâre too busy reeling to pay attention.Â
The spice sits on your tongue and it gives you the courage to put a hand on his knee, your body is twisting, and youâre leaning into him and craning your head to get a better look at him in the dim light of the bar.Â
âHowâd you get this?â You ask through a hum, your other hand coming up to trace the silver mark beneath his eye.Â
His cheeks pinken, at least that's what youâre telling yourself as he tenses beneath your touch. âItâs dumb.â His brows pinch like heâs trying to read you. You act differently on whiskey.Â
You smile, taking another sip from your glass as you meet his eyes. âIâd like to know.âÂ
He grabs his glass, itâs an old-fashioned. You catch yourself staring a bit too intently as his lips meet the glass.Â
The alcohol seems to give him the confidence to speak, his hand meets your shoulder and his thumb grazes your collarbone so gently.Â
âI fell, hit my face on the ground.â He nods as if heâs remembering the moment it happened. âI told you it was stupid.â He grinsÂ
You cross your legs and bite back a smile. âI donât think it's stupid,â you lean up and press your lips to the scar, it's slower than you intended, warm, and shouta can smell the bittersweet scent of your drink.Â
The hand on your shoulder slinks down to your waist, down down down until his hand is gripping you as if youâd disappear.
︜âšď¸śď¸śŕ¨ŕ§ď¸śď¸śâšď¸ś
His lips are on yours the moment the door shuts.Â
His apartment is small, it smells like new books and freshly mowed grass. The scent only spurs you two on.Â
You can taste the sweet aftertaste of his drink on his tongue, as well as the vibrations that rumble from his throat at the way you pull his hair. The locks are soft in your hands, intertwined between your fingers. He smells like whiskey and pine.Â
Your lips taste sharp against Shoutaâs. Youâve never been with a man who makes as much noise as him, especially just from kissing. Little groans are leaving his lips, and you imagine how theyâd feel on other parts of your body.Â
His hands are everywhere, your waist, your ass, your breasts. Heâs kissing you so messily, lips are bitten and raw, filled with want. You bring your hands down to his pants and try to undo the zipper.Â
Then heâs gone, and heâs going down, down, down, and before you know it, heâs pressing his cheek against your thigh.Â
âTell me you want this,â he rasps, âtell me or Iâll stop.âÂ
Your hands make their way to his hair, tugging at the messy bun he adorns. âI want this, I want you,â Your voice is shaky, youâre gasping for air that you already have. Just a few moments of kissing and touching have you desperate for a man that youâve only met twice.Â
The thought has you reeling, rushing. You need him.Â
He hums at your words, and heâs pulling down your pants in one go.Â
His mouth is on your cunt before you know it, heâs kissing you agonizingly slow and it has you reaching for something to hold on to. There is only one thing there and itâs him.Â
You bring your knee up to rest your leg on his shoulder, his blunt nails are digging into your thigh, and heâs drooling all over you. You can feel a mixture of slick and drool drip down your thighs. The wetness has you hooking your thigh around his head, pulling him in. Itâs suffocating the both of you. All this want and need between two people, two souls, two beingsâit's pouring out at this very moment.Â
âOh- oh, fuck sho,â Your eyes are rolling back into your skull and you thank god for the way youâre holding your body up through this.Â
You reach your orgasm from his tongue alone, its curling and twisting your insides in a way that has you screaming. Your mind is so numb that you can hear the blood wooshing in your ears.Â
His cheeks shine with your slick as he looks up at you, low-lidded eyes scanning each and every feature you have. âYou okay?â He asks, more teasing than serious.Â
âCan we take this to the bedroom?â You breathe out a sultry laugh, or you try to. It comes out more weak than anything.Â
âAre you sure you have it in you for one more?â he drawls, holding your hips to help himself stand.Â
His words turn you on more than they need to. It has you tingling deep in your stomach, fluttering as you grab his face and pull him into a deep kiss. Clashing all tongue and teeth.Â
You moan at the taste of yourself on his lips.
His cheeks are warm in your hands, youâre stroking them and reeling in the heat of another man's body.Â
His hands find their place beneath your thighs and you barely have a moment to breathe before heâs picking you up and carrying you to the bedroom.Â
The time between the living room and the bedroom feels like forever, the anticipation is barely ceasing with the kisses you give each other. But your back hits the bed before you know it and you can feel the pressing weight of his body as he kisses your neck.Â
Your hands find his hair and youâre tugging, moaning at the way he marks the soft parts of your neck.Â
It's funny how his hands grope your chest. You can almost hear a tiny laugh, the huff of his nose, as he molds your breast between your fingers. Your nipples peddle at the contact.Â
You donât remember when his pants came off but you can feel the weight of his cock press into your thighs, the same thighs he was between earlier.
âPlease, please,â You moan, pulling the dark locks of Shoutaâs hair.Â
You can feel him grin. âPlease, what? Use your words.â He hums.
His hand meets your slit and his middle finger trails it with a circle. You canât believe heâs making you say it.Â
âJust fuck me already.â You mewl and tighten your thighs around his hand. Â
Heâs off of you in the instant. Large hands engulf your thighs and spread them open, so wide you feel like your legs might rip off.Â
The weight of his cock makes you gasp as his tip presses against your slit. You both are staring at each other as he waits for your approval. You nod, staring at the space between you.
He pushes in slowly, the stretch makes you throw your head back and bite your lips. You try to contain the noises but just let out a low, long whimper. Â
There's heavy breathing between the two of you for what feels like forever. In the moongleam, he looks like an angel, with rosy cheeks and damp skin. Heâs soft beneath your touch.
It doesn't take him long before he's thrusting. There's a soft slap of skin every few seconds that mingles with the creaking of the bed.Â
Your hands find his chest then move up to his shoulders, youâre holding him like he is your life support. It's surprisingly soft for the most desperate sex of your life.Â
Your lips meet and there's the soft moans and grunts between you two. There are no words but your presence means more, you can feel the want without having to say it.
You start to get louder, and louder, and louder. His hand is on your breast then stalking lower to your stomach, then between your legs. And it's hot.
His fingers brush your clit, delicate but it sends you crashing, hitting your second orgasm of the night.Â
Your back is arching off the bed and all the air leaves your lungs. You see white behind your eyes, like stars flashing in your peripheral.Â
You feel him finish inside you with a soft grunt before he collapses on your chest. And you stare into each other's eyes as you embrace. It's the subtle art of trying to memorize the otherâs features, and you both stay that way until you fall asleep.Â
By the time morning comes youâre up first by the gleam of the rising sun in your eyes. Shoutaâs laid beside you on his stomach, his hand on your waist.Â
You hope heâs a heavy sleeper and roll out from under him. Your feet hit the carpet and you start to gather your things. Your heart pangs with guilt.Â
Youâre gone before he wakes.
︜âšď¸śď¸śŕ¨ŕ§ď¸śď¸śâšď¸ś
It's raining again.Â
Maybe it's a sign? Itâs been six days since your date with Shouta and you refuse to call him.Â
Youâve been thinking about it for days, fucks sake youâre thinking about it right now as you walk down the pavement. You think the rain will remind you of shouta for the rest of your life.
The rain started your love story, even if it was short. The dark and grogginess, how it always makes you lethargic. It pangs in the name of Shouta Aizawa.Â
You check the time on your watch and by the time you look up, youâre already at the crosswalk.Â
A familiar dark-haired man is standing across the street.Â
You have half a mind to turn and walk away, maybe go grab a bite to eat and wait out the rain.Â
Green lights flash and your feet are moving before you can think. You look down to see shoutaâs doing the same and you start to walk faster.Â
His hands engulf your face when you meet, his lips smashing into yours and you let him.Â
It tastes like mint and coffee grounds, it smells like earth and fresh rain, and it feels like home.Â
Forever your lips touch, moving together like matching puzzle pieces. You feel complete.Â
It takes a moment for you to pull away, and youâre staring at each other with rosy, kiss-swollen lips.Â
âYou look cold, you shouldnât be out in the rain.â He speaks first.Â
You nod and the ends of your lips curl into a smile. âNeither should you.â Your hand rests on his shoulder, your thumb grazing his collarbone.Â
âLet me buy you a coffee, thereâs a cafe right up this street.â He asks hopefully.Â
His eyes bore into yours for what feels like forever, youâre so close you can feel the uneasiness in his heartbeat. You know you canât leave him hanging for much longer.
âIâd like that.â

have yourself a merry little Christmas II Kim Little x Reader

romantic masterlist | platonic masterlist | word count: 1115
summary: Kim, the Arsenal team and reader are strolling through a Christmas market together. requested
author's note: dear readers, we hope you enjoy our oneshot, your feedback is always appreciated.â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
Visiting the London Christmas market with the Arsenal team became an annual festive tradition for your teammates and you. The delicious scent of cinnamon and chocolate was in the air as you made your way through the buzzing streets, the slightly wet cobblestones reflected the warm fairy lights surrounding you.
âGirls, whereâs Kim and y/n?â, Leah stopped moving alarmed by her realization that you two were suddenly missing from the group.
âThey were right behind us.â, Beth shrugged innocently. The strikerâs remark only intensified the blonde defenders frowning lines on her forehead.
âKyra, no!â, Alessia laughed, trying to prevent the young Australian to get anymore chocolate from one of the many stands, so she wouldnât suffer from a sugar shock.
âWhat?â, the midfielder responded sounding completely guileless.
âYou canât have chocolate right now, weâve lost our captain and her wife which means we need to find them.â, Leah shook her head impatiently.
âIâm sure theyâll be fine.â, Kyra waved it off unbothered by the dramatics of the vice-captain. With a huge smile on her lips, she added eyes gleaming joyfully: âBut thereâs hot chocolate over there.â
âIt canât be as good as Swiss chocolate.â, Lia grumbled.
âAmor.â, Mariona chuckled amused.
âMaybe try it before you slam it.â, Beth suggested winking.
âSee, listen to her.â, the Spanish midfielder smirked at the older Swiss woman who still looked unconvinced at the chocolate laying in front of her.
âOi, I think I saw them.â, Katie interrupted them excitedly, before the team could reach them though, Kim and you disappeared in the crowd again.
In front of a booth where one could win prices your wife came to a halt. Immediately, the Scottish womanâs light eyes spotted something she wanted to get for you. The unfolding scene felt like one of those cheesy Hollywood rom coms you loved while your lover hated them with a passion.
âKim, you donât have to do that.â, you crossed your arms in front of your chest
âDo what?â, Kim frowned.
âTo win that stuffed animal for me.â, you finished your sentence with a smile on your face.
âWho said I wanted to win it for you.â, the midfielder countered teasingly.
âSo, itâs for your niece and nephew?â, you asked her.
âI didnât say that either.â, she reminded you grinning. After a few rounds of playing, Kim triumphantly handed the stuff animal to you, announcing proudly: âHere this is yours.â
âThank you.â, you muttered too stunned to say something else.
âYouâre welcome.â, your wife replied.
Nervously you put a loose string of hair behind your ear: âKimmy, you donât think weâre too old for plushies?â
âWhat? No.â
âItâs really cute.â, you admitted touched by her soft gesture. Most people in your life were getting married, buying houses and having babies, the latter one you failed at it, you two were trying again in the new year. But for now, you were grateful for what you did had an amazing wife and a wonderful team which were also your found family.
âLetâs go, maybe weâll find the others again.â Kim cleared her throat. Â
You nodded slowly: âGood idea. Itâs a team bonding event after all.â
âExactly. But do you want to get some mulled wine first? I know you like that.â, Kim suggested, pointing into the direction of a stand close by. The smell of spices and warm alcohol wafted over to you.
You smiled, admiring that she remembered: âI do.â
âIâll get us some.â, Kim said and queued up before you could protest.
A few minutes later, she pressed a hot mug into your hand. You leaned forward until the steam touched your cheeks, inhaling the smell. âThanks, youâre the best.â
âBecause I bought you a drink?â, Kim chuckled before taking a sip from her mulled wine.
âNo, for⌠everything.â
A crease formed between her eyebrows as she studied you sternly: âIâm not doing anything.â
âNot through my eyes.â, you said, carefully drinking from the hot beverage in front of you.
Your wifes face softened: âThatâs sweet of you.â
You hid your face behind your mug while taking another sip: âItâs the truth.â
âThatâs just the mulled wine.â
You giggled about how bad Kim was at accepting compliments: âIâve not had that much of it yet! But you know itâs Christmas soon and you know what they say about Christmas. That you tell the truth.â
âI never heard of that before.â, the midfielder grinned.
âSadly itâs not from me. Itâs a quote from Love, actually.â
âNever seen that.â
You blinked at her in disbelief: âYou didnât? We need to change that as soon as we get home.â
âI donât even like Christmas movies.â, she complained. That fact definitely wasnât new to you. It was almost impossible to get her to watch anything Christmas related.
But before you could protest and explain to her that not all Christmas movies are predictable and cheesy, you found yourself right under a plastic mistletoe. Admittedly, that was even too cheesy for you.
âOh.â, you said as you looked upwards.
Kims eyes followed your gaze to the mistletoe: âAnd thatâs exactly why. Theyâre all so stupid and clichĂŠd. Like the tradition that you have to kiss under a mistletoeâŚâ
You silenced her with one raised eyebrow: âYou didnât hate tradition when you went down on one knee for me years ago.â
Kim simply rolled her eyes in response: âOh please.â
âYeah, right, forget it. Oh, look whoâs over there.â
A group of blonde girls stood out from the crowd. You immediately recognised your teammates.
âOh.â
âLetâs go back over to them.â, you suggested but when you were about to take a step forward, Kims hand snaked around your wrist, holding you back.
âItâs bad luck.â
She nodded upwards to the plant above your heads.
You bit back a smile: âI thought you detested Christmas traditions.â
âI do. But we canât risk it, can we?â, the Arsenal captain grinned sheepishly.
âNo, we canât.â, you agreed mirroring her smile before her lips met for a short, but sweet kiss.
Both of you were quickly interrupted by Leahâs statement, her arms were crossed in front of the chest: âUnderneath the mistletoe.â
âEw.â, Kyra grimaced who got playfully elbowed into her side through Steph.
The older defender warned her smiling: âShut it.â
Expectantly Alessia looked at Kim and you: â Are you coming now? We want to go on the Ferris wheel?â
âYes, weâre coming.â, you told her beaming.
âDonât worry.â, your wife added in a light-tone.
Somewhere in the background, have yourself a merry little Christmas was playing, and little Christmas was about to be soon indeed. The air was already full of laughter, joy and the promises of a New Year.

A Surprise Visit
Neighbor!price x lil birdie down the road
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4
You groan and clutch your pounding head, as you slowly start to come to. Blinking your eyes, as you let out a loud yawn. Head turning to face your bedroom door, you could swear you heardâŚ
Was that a knock at your front door?
Honestly you didnât entirely remember getting home last night, but you do remember John helping you back. Maybe bringing over a bottle of wine to his place wasnât the best idea. Your hangover was certainly agreeing with that point andâ
Yeah thatâs definitely a knock at your door.
Reluctantly you sit up out of bed, stretching your arms above your head. It was lazy of you, but you were taking your time. Your body just hurt. It was embarrassingly difficult, but you pulled on your hoodie â since you werenât gonna answer the door bra-less. Just tits galore.
Your pace quickens when you hear shouting from outside. Struggling to throw on some sweat pants, usually sleeping in panties and a tank top coming back to haunt you. Stumbling down the hall to the front door.
âHey grizzly bear! Yeah you!â A loud, but very familiar voice shouts. âWhat the fuck are you creeping out front for?â
âNow maâam Iââ
Johnâs explanation is cut off as you throw open your front door. Heaving out breaths from the sheer panic you felt.
âH-heâŚhe isnât creepingâŚâ you breathe out an explanation, as you soak in the terrible physical performance you are demonstrating. âBut thank you for defending me, love you very much sissyâŚâ
âAhhh so is he a boyfriend then?â Your sister grins wickedly, seeing an opportunity to potentially grill him.
âNo,â you answer, at the same time that John answers yes. You shoot him a glare, âWould you justâŚheâs my neighbor. Just down the road.â
Walking up to the two of you confidently, she takes a peek at the items in Johnâs hands. âYeah all neighbors bring over hangover curesâŚâ she chuckles, âso how drunk did she get?â She asks her attention now on John.
âPerfectly loaded,â he grins, his eyes finding yours. Seeing the fury in yours, and matching it with adoration. âI donât want to ruin a sister visit though. Just wanted to bring these for you love, make sure youâre okay.â
A blush finds its way over your face the moment he places the pain killers and antacids in your hands. Warmth lingering where his fingers brush your skin. Silently cursing your sister for just showing up today of all days.
You had planned to tell John just how you felt.
How much you wanted him. How much you hoped he wanted you too.
âNonsense,â your sister waves him off, âIâd love to get to know you. Got to make sure thereâs nothing off with my baby sisters neighborsâŚâ she says, and itâs not lost on anyone the way she says it. She isnât buying your bullshit at all.
You lead them both inside. Filling the kettle as they both sit at your small dining table. Tea would likely settle your nerves, but you desperately wished for that wine from last night.
A few minutes later, you set a tray with three cups, some milk and sugar on the table.
âAnd she flipped straight over the handlebarsâŚâ your sister laughs, as she tells the story of the time you had flipped over your bikeâŚstopping for a frog.
In your defense, the frog was cute and who would want to smoosh any living thing. But also your knees, arms and palms were skinned for two weeks straight. Youâd do the same thing too.
John let out a low belly laugh, as his eyes flicked up to you. Reaching out for his cup.
âShe is quite the kind soul isnât sheâŚâ
Your sister canât hold back another bark of laughter, wiping her eyes, âKind. Yeah sure, until you piss her off. I advise not doing that. Sheâs a little like a puppy, all cute until you push too far â then she might snap.â
Itâs hard to ignore that your sister seems fiercely proud over this fact about you. And from even the short time speaking with her, John gets the sense the two of you are very alike in that regard.
He wouldnât deny that that fire and fierceness is a lot of what drew him to you. But your sister had hit it right on the head.
He loved your soft side too. He loved the mix of both. That perfect blend that made you exactly who you were.
Counted himself a lucky man to get to meet some of your family today. Get to see some of what shaped you into who you are, as you throw your head back in laughter he hasnât drawn from you. Yet.
To get to see you feeling so free. So light. With someone who knows everything about you, who grew with you.
He wants to be that for you going forward. Only deeper. Intimate. Longing to learn every part of what makes up your soul.
Later that night, John steps out onto your back porch. Cigar lit as he take a long drag. The sliding door pulling his attention.
Your sister walks out, pulling out a cigarette. Ah, something you two donât share. You always claimed you hated the smell, so preferred if John smoked outside.
Heâd do anything for you. So it was an easy change.
âSo, when are you going to ask her out?â She asks, taking a long drag of the dart. Letting the ember flare a bit.
John chuckles softly, shoving a hand in his pocket. The other grabbing the cigar from his mouth, âhonestly we were going to have that talk todayâŚâ
âYikesâŚâ your sister, sucks her breath in through her teeth. âSorry for cockblocking you guys unintentionallyâŚâ
Both of them laugh at that, and he decides that she wouldnât be a bad in-law one day. Could imagine a future of double dates with her and her future significant other. Losing himself in a daydream.
âEarth to grizzlyâŚâ she snaps her fingers at him, using her earlier title for him. âI was saying, you seem like a nice guy. Maybe a bit older than I wouldâve picked for her, but heyâŚas long as you treat her right I donât care.â
Slowly she stalks forward a bit, trying to seem a bit more menacing. Also completely unaware of who she is sizing up.
âBut if you hurt herâŚwhat I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long careerââ
âAre you quoting Taken at me?â John asks with a raised brow, and a low snort. âYeah you two are definitely sistersâŚâ he says taking a puff of his cigar.
âYou know your sister definitely threatened meâŚâ John said, as the two of you made it to his front door.
You had insisted on walking him back after he had spent all night being questioned (read harassed) by your sister.
You groaned, and facepalmed, âOh godâŚI am so sorry. I shouldâve known sheâd say something when she went out for a smoke.â
âIs good that you have someone watching over you dollâŚâ he smiles, as you two face each other. Reaching out to brush a strand of hair behind her ear. âMight have to talk about tha whole neighbor not boyfriend thing thoughâŚâ
You canât help but laugh at that, shaking your head at him. âWe can discuss renegotiating titlesâŚâ you tease lightly.
His warm hand settles along the column of your neck pulling you closer. âWe can talk after your sister leaves. Enjoy the time with her sweetheart.â
âJohnâŚâ you say softly, leaning in, pressing up on to your toes, âIâm gonna kiss you now.â
Before you can close the gap, he pulls you in the rest of the way. Your lips crashing together. Sharing the feelings that were unsaid but not unrecognized. Pulling away, breathing heavily a few moments later.
âI plan to do that a lot more once she leavesâŚâ you say with a gentle laugh, pressing one more kiss to his lips. âGoodnight JohnâŚâ
Your voice a caress to his heart, watching you until you duck into your door. Shutting off the porch light.
A contented sigh leaving his lips. Still tasting you there.
âOh little birdie, youâre all mine nowâŚâ he whispers to himself. And whatever God might be listening.
The whole universe should know. Youâre his.

i saw u write bleach too so what about ichigo college au bf hcs? đ¤
a/n: first bleach askkkk đ¸ yus i lob ichigoat thank you lovely. this is gonna be so self indulgent ilh <333
ĘÉ âşË college au! ichigo, who you met at your barista job near your university. heâs been more noticeable recently due to his need to grind out for his linguistics midtermsâ specifically for syntax and sociolinguistics. he orders the same thing: cold brew with light cream and one sugar, and camps out by the corner of the cafe with his eyes glued onto his laptop screen. you rarely see him with anyone else accompanying him at the cafĂŠ which causes for your co-workers to attempt to give you the push to talk to him.
ĘÉ âşË college au! ichigo, who notices your little notes and glances from across the cafe. in his opinion, you seem chill and heâd like to know you. from what it appears, you seem a bit shy and nice, the worker who always takes his order when he wants his usual, to the point where you even remember his redundant order. he appreciates the gestures but doesnât know how to reciprocateâshould he compliment you? he would really want to get to know you. it isnât until you stay an extra shift to see ichigo leave where as you pick up the dishes from his table do you notice a 20 dollar bill with a note aside stating âhereâs my number, call me âŚâ
ĘÉ âşË college au! ichigo, who, once you start dating, is a complete gentleman. he gets to the point during your first date at a local round 1 and gets a few things straight; he hates situationships and isn't into "just casual". he's a genuine guy who learns the little things about you; your likes and dislikes, what your favorite order is, favorite color. heâs the type of person to type it in his notes app in case he ever forgets (will most likely not). you also learn about his own goals; be a translator and survive his sophomore year as well as his own interests like rock and the whole punk aesthetic in a toned down way (which is super cool). something else you learn heâs a huge romantic in his own nonchalant way as you two soon get to know each other more.
ĘÉ âşË college au! ichigo, who walks you to class and loves to subtlety show you off on his social media. he enjoys letting you pick out what photos he should post and letting you pick the songs he chooses on his stories. he likes having you be active in his hobbies and even encourages you to go with him at his martial arts gym for moral support or if you want to also try it out. you also meet his sisters and they become fond of you, sparking him to fall even more in love with you. (his dad catches wind of you and teases him on his âgameâ)
ĘÉ âşË college au! ichigo, who is so boyfriend material. he def seems the type to also attempt to play basketball, point at you and say âthis is for youâ and not miss (bc ichigoat neva misses). heâs also the type of person to acknowledge that you can handle yourself. however, he is a definite overprotective guy and would defend you if you were to ever be in a misunderstanding with anyone.
ĘÉ âşË if anything, your dynamic would look smt like listener x yapper and would be interchangeable. he loves to listen to your rants about different people and about your hyperfixations. however, ichigo def yaps about what heâs listening rn. the two of you would probably have a shared playlist where he adds his radiohead, foo fighters, and occasional the weeknd songs. he would definitely be the type to dedicate playlists about you filled with cute love songs (just donât mention it to him, heâs gonna start nonchalantly denying it).
ĘÉ âşË he would def set up dates with you to go thrifting based off on the literal fire fits he has on and then later on, go to a record shop. dates in general would consist of either going to places like that, going to the park, or just going in his room and staying in. heâs a very simplistic person but he puts in a lot of effort. he cares a lot about you and your interests as well, showing it in his own way by buying you merchandise. remember talking about hyperfixations? mention a book series, manga, or show you like? heâs the type of person to âcasuallyâ drop by with one of those bouquets made of books or cds just to see your cute expression.
âââ
a/n : loved doing this on the train ty for this ask ml â this was fun đđ

[Opening sequence: Highlights from Episode 7, focusing on their intimate photoshoot moments and the surprise cheek kiss]
Narrator: "After showing their sweet side to the world in their magazine feature, our favorite couple is heading out for a day of fun and thrills at the amusement park!"
---
Seokmin arrived at the designated meeting spot outside Lotte World twenty minutes early, as had become his habit whenever he was meeting Y/N. He blamed it on professional courtesy, but the members had taken to calling it his "pre-Y/N panic time"âa chance for him to get his nerves under control before the cameras started rolling.
Not that it ever worked. Seven episodes in, and his heart still did that ridiculous flutter when he saw her approaching.
The magazine photoshoot from last week had complicated things further. The physical closeness, the staged intimacy that hadn't felt staged at all, the surprise cheek kiss that he could still feel tingling on his skin days laterâit was becoming increasingly difficult to maintain the mental barrier between reality and the show.
And now they were going to an amusement park. A classic date location straight out of every K-drama ever made. Seokmin had a sneaking suspicion the PD was working through a romance clichĂŠ checklist at this point.
"You're thinking too loud again," came Y/N's voice, startling him out of his thoughts.
Seokmin turned to find her standing beside him, looking casual and pretty in jeans, a light sweater, and a baseball capâa far cry from the glamorous styling of their photoshoot, but somehow even more appealing for its naturalness.
"I wasn't thinking," Seokmin defended automatically. "I was... strategizing."
"Strategizing what? Optimal cotton candy consumption techniques?" Y/N teased.
"Exactly that," Seokmin agreed with mock seriousness. "It's all about the fluffy-to-sugar ratio. Very scientific."
Y/N laughed, the sound still doing dangerous things to his cardiac rhythm even after all this time. "Well, I'm glad one of us is prepared."
The production crew approached, cameras already rolling to capture their meeting. The PD handed them each a small envelope.
"Today's mission is simple," the PD explained. "Enjoy a day at the amusement park together! But there's a twistâin these envelopes are three challenges you need to complete throughout the day."
Seokmin opened his envelope, reading the card inside:
1. Win a prize for Y/N at a game booth
2. Take a selca at the top of the Ferris wheel
3. Share one cotton candy (one stick, two people)
Easy enough. Though the Ferris wheel part made his stomach flip with nervesânot because of the height, but because of the romantic implications. Ferris wheels were where drama couples confessed feelings or shared first kisses. The setting was laden with expectations.
Stop overthinking. It's just a theme park date for a TV show.
Y/N showed him her card, which had similar couple-oriented challenges:
1. Buy matching accessories to wear
2. Feed each other some amusement park food
3. Hold hands on a scary ride
"Looks like we're hitting all the couple clichĂŠs today," Y/N observed with a wry smile.
"The PD is nothing if not thorough," Seokmin agreed. "Shall we start with the matching accessories? Get that one out of the way early?"
"Lead the way, fake husband."
The term "fake husband" had become something of an inside joke between them, but lately it had started to pinch a little each time she said itâa reminder of the temporary, manufactured nature of their relationship.
As they walked through the entrance gates, cameras trailing discreetly behind them, Seokmin was acutely aware of the public setting. Unlike their previous filmings in controlled environments, this one would have regular people in the background, potentially recognizing them.
Sure enough, he caught the whispers almost immediately.
"Isn't that Lee Seokmin from SEVENTEEN?"
"And Y/N Y/L/N? The actress?"
"They're the couple from that marriage show!"
"Are they filming right now?"
"Ignore them," Y/N murmured, noticing his discomfort. "Just focus on me."
Focus on me. As if that wasn't what he'd been doing helplessly for the past seven episodes.
"Right," Seokmin agreed, straightening his shoulders. "Just us, having fun. Nothing to see here, folks. Just your average idol and actress fake-married for television, wandering around an amusement park with a camera crew. Totally normal Tuesday."
Y/N laughed, linking her arm through his with casual ease that made his heart skip. "Exactly. Now, about those matching accessories..."
They found a souvenir shop near the entrance and browsed the options. Couple headbands? Too obvious. Matching t-shirts? Too committed. Finally, they settled on simple matching wristbands with the park's logo.
"Subtle but identifiable," Y/N approved as they tied them on each other's wrists. "Perfect for a couple who's been married for approximately five minutes of real time spread across seven episodes."
"When you put it that way, our relationship sounds very efficient," Seokmin joked. "Most couples take years to go through what we've experienced in a few filming days."
"The wonders of television time compression," Y/N agreed, her fingers lingering perhaps a second longer than necessary as she finished securing his wristband.
With one challenge completed, they headed deeper into the park. The atmosphere was lively, with cheerful music playing through speakers and the excited screams from nearby rides creating a backdrop of joyful chaos. Despite his initial nervousness about the public setting, Seokmin found himself relaxing as they walked, falling into easy conversation.
"What rides do you like?" he asked. "Thrill seeker or more of a merry-go-round enthusiast?"
"Somewhere in between," Y/N replied. "I like rides that go fast, but I'm not a fan of ones that spin or go upside down too much."
"What about heights?" Seokmin asked, thinking of their pending Ferris wheel mission.
Something flickered across Y/N's expression. "Heights are... not my favorite thing."
"Really?" Seokmin asked, surprised. "But we have to take a selca on the Ferris wheel."
"I know," Y/N said, looking slightly uncomfortable. "I'll be fine. It's just not something I'd choose voluntarily."
Seokmin filed this information away carefully. "We can save that for last, then. Build up to it."
"My hero," Y/N said with a playful smile, but there was genuine appreciation in her eyes.
They decided to start with some of the gentler rides to warm up. The bumper cars provided an opportunity for Seokmin to showcase his terrible driving skills, while Y/N proved unexpectedly aggressive, targeting him mercilessly.
"I thought we were on the same team!" Seokmin protested after she rammed into him for the third time.
"All's fair in love and bumper cars," Y/N called back, circling around for another attack.
The cameras captured their competitive banter, the PD giving approving nods at their natural chemistry. After bumper cars came the spinning teacups (moderately successful) and a carousel ride (during which Seokmin pretended his horse was in an intense race with Y/N's).
"I think it's time for something more thrilling," Y/N suggested after they'd exhausted the tamer options. "Maybe we can tackle the 'hold hands on a scary ride' challenge?"
Seokmin's heart rate picked up at the thought. "Sure, what did you have in mind?"
Y/N pointed to a massive roller coaster that featured multiple loops and a near-vertical drop. "That one."
"You're sure heights aren't your thing?" Seokmin asked skeptically. "Because that seems very... high."
"Roller coasters are different," Y/N explained. "You're moving too fast to really register the height. It's the slow ascent and hovering at the top that bothers me."
"Like on a Ferris wheel," Seokmin concluded, understanding dawning.
"Exactly," Y/N confirmed with a small smile. "But I'll be brave for the mission."
"We'll tackle it together," Seokmin promised, feeling a surge of protectiveness. "But first, let's see if I scream higher than you on this death trap."
The line for the roller coaster was long, giving them time to chat while the cameras captured their anticipation. Seokmin found himself sharing stories about amusement park trips with his members, while Y/N told him about a disastrous high school field trip where she'd gotten separated from her class and ended up accidentally joining a tour group of elderly tourists.
"They were so nice," she recalled with a laugh. "They kept offering me candies and asking if I needed to rest. I spent two hours looking at flower arrangements with them before my teacher found me."
"That's adorable," Seokmin said, genuinely charmed by the mental image of teenage Y/N being adopted by a group of grandparents.
As they approached the front of the line, Y/N's nervous glances at the coaster's imposing structure became more frequent. When they finally boarded and the safety bars lowered into place, she took a deep breath that was slightly shakier than her usual confident demeanor.
"You okay?" Seokmin asked, suddenly concerned that this might be more than just mild nerves.
"Fine," Y/N insisted, though her knuckles were white where she gripped the safety bar. "Just channeling my inner thrill-seeker."
"We can get off if you want," Seokmin offered, but the ride attendant was already moving down the line checking restraints.
"No backing out now," Y/N said with a tight smile. "Besides, we have a mission to complete."
Right. The hand-holding challenge. Though at this point, Seokmin was more concerned with Y/N's comfort than completing missions.
As the coaster began its initial ascent, he quietly offered his hand. Y/N looked at it for a brief moment before entwining her fingers with his, holding on with what might have been more force than strictly necessary for the show.
"I've got you," Seokmin said softly, giving her hand a reassuring squeeze.
Y/N's smile was small but genuine. "I know."
And then they were at the top, teetering on the edge of the first drop, and there was no more time for conversation. The coaster plunged downward, and Seokmin found himself screaming at a pitch that would have made his vocal coach weep. Beside him, Y/N's initial scream of terror quickly transformed into shrieks of laughter as they whipped through loops and corkscrews at dizzying speeds.
Through it all, she never let go of his hand.
When they finally jerked to a stop back at the loading platform, both were breathless and laughing, hair windblown and cheeks flushed with adrenaline.
"That was AMAZING!" Y/N exclaimed, eyes bright with excitement. "Can we go again?"
Seokmin stared at her in disbelief. "You were terrified thirty seconds ago!"
"And now I'm exhilarated," Y/N countered. "That's the whole point of these rides."
They exited to where the camera crew waited, still holding hands without seeming to realize it until the PD pointedly looked down at their entwined fingers. They separated quickly, both suddenly finding the exit signs fascinating.
"Challenge completed," the PD noted with satisfaction. "What's next?"
"I think I need to restore my dignity by winning something at a game booth," Seokmin declared. "My screams on that ride were not my most masculine moment."
"I don't know, I found them endearing," Y/N teased. "Like a pterodactyl discovering it can fly."
"That's... not the flattering comparison you think it is," Seokmin replied, but he was laughing too.
They made their way to the game section of the park, where various booths offered prizes for throwing darts, shooting water guns, or knocking down bottles. Seokmin surveyed the options, trying to determine which game gave him the best chance of success.
"How about that one?" Y/N suggested, pointing to a ring toss booth where players tried to loop rings around the necks of bottles.
Seokmin eyed it doubtfully. "Those are notoriously rigged, you know."
"All the more impressive when you win," Y/N countered with a challenging smile. "Unless you don't think you can..."
"Oh, it's ON," Seokmin declared, immediately falling for her obvious manipulation. "I am about to ring toss my way into the history books."
They approached the booth, where an array of stuffed animals hung as prizes. Y/N's eyes lingered on a large plush dog with floppy ears and a goofy expression.
"That one's cute," she commented casually.
Message received. Seokmin paid for a round of rings and took aim at the bottles, determined to win that specific prize for her.
His first attempt sailed completely over the bottles and hit the back wall of the booth.
"Just warming up," he assured Y/N, who was poorly concealing her amusement.
The second throw bounced off the rim of a bottle and ricocheted in an impressive series of bounces before landing on the ground.
"Physics is clearly working against me," Seokmin reasoned.
The third attempt actually made it around a bottle, but it was one of the ones that only won a small consolation prize.
"Progress!" Y/N encouraged.
The fourth and fifth attempts were similarly unsuccessful, leaving Seokmin with empty hands and wounded pride.
"One more round," he insisted, paying for another set of rings. "I'm getting that dog if it's the last thing I do."
Six more failed attempts later, Seokmin was beginning to understand why these games had a reputation for being impossible. The booth operator was watching with increasing amusement, while the camera crew had settled in for what was clearly going to be an extended segment.
"Maybe we should try a different game," Y/N suggested gently.
"No," Seokmin replied, a look of determination settling on his face. "I said I would win you that prize, and I'm going to do it. No matter how many tries it takes."
"My hero," Y/N said, and though there was teasing in her tone, there was something warm in her eyes that made Seokmin's resolve strengthen.
Three more rounds and fifteen more failed attempts later, Seokmin was contemplating whether it would be easier to just climb over the counter and steal the plush dog when he finally, FINALLY landed a ring around the center bottleâthe one that won the grand prize.
"I DID IT!" he shouted, jumping up and down with more excitement than the achievement probably warranted. "DID YOU SEE THAT? I AM THE RING TOSS CHAMPION OF THE WORLD!"
Y/N was laughing, clapping her hands in genuine delight at his childlike enthusiasm. "That was amazing! I can't believe you actually did it!"
The booth operator handed over the coveted plush dog with a look of mild surprise, clearly not having expected anyone to actually win it. Seokmin accepted it triumphantly and presented it to Y/N with an exaggerated bow.
"For you, my lady. Only took half my yearly salary and possibly the development of a gambling addiction, but totally worth it."
Y/N accepted the stuffed dog, hugging it to her chest with a smile that made all those failed attempts completely worthwhile. "I shall treasure him forever. What should we name him?"
"Persistence," Seokmin suggested. "Or perhaps 'Financial Ruin.'"
"How about 'Lucky'?" Y/N countered. "Since it was lucky throw number twenty-something that won him."
"Lucky it is," Seokmin agreed, feeling oddly touched that she wanted to name it together, as if it were their shared pet rather than just a carnival prize.
With the ring toss challenge completed (albeit at great cost to Seokmin's wallet and dignity), they moved on to the food section of the park. The "feed each other" challenge from Y/N's card was next on their list.
They surveyed the optionsâcorn dogs, ice cream, various fried foods on sticksâbefore settling on a stall selling hotteok, the sweet pancakes filled with sugar, cinnamon, and nuts.
"These look dangerous," Y/N observed as they received their order. "Very messy potential."
"That's half the fun," Seokmin replied. "Nothing says romance like getting syrup all over your face while cameras document your humiliation."
They found a table and sat down, the hotteok steaming between them. The cameras positioned to capture the feeding moment, which suddenly felt more intimate than Seokmin had anticipated.
"Ladies first," he said, breaking off a piece and holding it up for Y/N.
She leaned forward, eyes locked with his as she took the bite from his fingers. There was something deliberate in the way she maintained eye contact, something that made Seokmin's breath catch in his throat.
"Your turn," she said after a moment, breaking off her own piece and offering it to him.
Seokmin leaned in, hyperaware of her fingers brushing against his lips as he accepted the bite. The sweetness of the hotteok was almost overwhelmed by the rush of emotions flooding his system.
It's just for the show. It's just for the cameras. It doesn't mean anything.
But the soft smile Y/N gave him as she wiped a bit of sugar from the corner of his mouth with her thumb felt anything but staged.
"Two challenges left," she said, glancing at their mission cards. "Cotton candy and the Ferris wheel."
"Let's get the cotton candy now and save the Ferris wheel for sunset," Seokmin suggested. "It'll look better for the photos."
And give Y/N more time to prepare for her fear of heights, though he didn't say that part aloud.
They found a cotton candy vendor and ordered a single stick, the fluffy pink cloud almost comically large between them.
"How exactly are we supposed to share this?" Y/N wondered, eyeing the sugary confection.
"With great difficulty and maximum stickiness," Seokmin predicted. "Want first bite?"
Y/N tore off a piece, the sugar immediately dissolving on her tongue. "So sweet!"
"That's kind of the whole point," Seokmin laughed, taking his own piece.
They wandered through the park, passing the cotton candy back and forth, occasionally tearing off pieces for each other in a continuation of their feeding challenge. It was simple, silly fun, but Seokmin found himself treasuring these lighthearted moments even more than the more obviously couple-oriented challenges.
As the afternoon wore on and the cotton candy dwindled to nothing but a sticky paper cone, they found themselves approaching the final challengeâthe Ferris wheel. The sun was beginning to set, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink, creating the perfect romantic backdrop.
Too perfect, in Seokmin's opinion. It felt like a setup, a manufactured moment designed to push them into something neither was ready to acknowledge.
"We don't have to do this if you're really uncomfortable with heights," he told Y/N quietly as they approached the imposing wheel.
Y/N took a deep breath, clutching Lucky the plush dog a little tighter. "It's fine. I can handle it. It's just a slow-moving wheel, right?"
"Right," Seokmin agreed. "And I'll be right there with you."
The line moved quickly, and soon they were being ushered into a glass-enclosed carriage. The camera crew couldn't join them in the small space, instead giving them a handheld camera to capture their own footage. This created an unexpected sense of privacy, despite knowing the footage would be viewed later.
As the wheel began to turn, lifting them higher into the evening sky, Y/N's knuckles whitened where she gripped the edge of the seat.
"Hey," Seokmin said softly, covering her hand with his. "Look at me, not down."
Y/N's eyes found his, gratitude clear in her expression. "Sorry. It's silly, I know."
"It's not silly," Seokmin assured her. "Everyone's afraid of something."
"What are you afraid of?" she asked, seemingly grateful for the distraction as they continued to ascend.
Seokmin considered this. "Professionally? Losing my voice before a big performance. It's my recurring nightmare."
"And personally?" Y/N pressed gently.
The question caught him off guard. They'd shared a lot over the past few months, but rarely ventured into territory this vulnerable. The privacy of their current situation made it easier to be honest.
"Being forgotten, I guess," he admitted after a moment. "Not just as an idol, but as a person. The thought that I might not leave any meaningful mark on the people I care about."
Y/N's eyes softened. "I don't think you need to worry about that. You're pretty unforgettable, Lee Seokmin."
The simple sincerity in her voice made his heart constrict. "What about you? Besides heights."
Y/N was quiet for a moment, her gaze drifting to the sunset visible through the glass, though she kept her hand firmly in his. "Becoming irrelevant, I think. Not necessarily in my career, though that's part of it. But more... being someone people can easily replace or move on from."
The vulnerability in her admission struck a chord in Seokmin. Without thinking, he squeezed her hand. "Also not something you need to worry about."
Their eyes met, and Seokmin was suddenly acutely aware of how alone they were, suspended high above the world in their glass bubble. The moment felt weighted with possibility, with unspoken words hovering between them.
Then the carriage jerked to a stop as they reached the very top of the wheel, and Y/N's fear resurfaced as she glanced down reflexively.
"Oh god, we're so high up," she breathed, her grip on his hand tightening painfully.
"Hey, it's okay," Seokmin soothed, shifting closer to put an arm around her shoulders. "Don't look down. Look out at the sunset instead. Or at me. I've been told I have a very distracting face."
That earned a small laugh from Y/N, though it was tinged with nervousness. "You do have a distracting face," she agreed, turning to look at him rather than the view. "Very expressive."
"One of my many talents," Seokmin confirmed seriously. "Along with pterodactyl screaming on roller coasters and spending obscene amounts of money on rigged carnival games."
Y/N's laugh was more genuine this time, her body relaxing slightly against his. "Don't forget your superior cotton candy sharing skills."
"A comprehensive skill set," Seokmin agreed. "I'm quite the catch."
"You are," Y/N said, and something in her tone made him pause. There was a sincerity there that didn't sound like part of their usual banter.
Before he could respond, she seemed to remember the camera in his free hand. "We should take that selca now, while we're at the top."
"Right," Seokmin agreed, grateful for the distraction from the suddenly charged atmosphere. He held up the camera, angling it to capture both them and the sunset behind them. "Smile!"
Y/N pressed close against his side, her face next to his, smile bright despite her fear of heights. Seokmin took several photos, wanting to make sure they got at least one good one.
"Perfect," Y/N declared, reviewing the images. "Mission accomplished."
As if on cue, the Ferris wheel began moving again, beginning its descent back to the ground. Y/N visibly relaxed as they moved downward, though she didn't pull away from Seokmin's side.
"Thank you," she said quietly.
"For what?"
"For helping me through that. For distracting me."
"Anytime," Seokmin replied honestly. "That's what fake husbands are for, right?"
There it was againâthat slight pinch at the reminder of their arrangement. But Y/N's smile didn't falter as she nodded. "Right."
When they reached the bottom and exited the carriage, the PD was waiting with an approving smile. "Did you get good footage up there?"
"I think so," Seokmin replied, handing over the camera. "All challenges completed successfully!"
"Great work, both of you," the PD said. "That's a wrap for today's episode!"
As the crew began packing up equipment, Seokmin and Y/N found themselves standing together in the fading twilight, the park's lights beginning to twinkle on around them.
"That was fun," Y/N said, still holding Lucky the stuffed dog to her chest. "Even the terrifying parts."
"Especially the terrifying parts," Seokmin corrected with a smile. "Those make the best stories later."
"True," Y/N agreed. "No one wants to hear about the time everything went perfectly according to plan."
There was a moment of comfortable silence between them, neither quite ready for the day to end.
"Do you want to grab dinner?" Seokmin found himself asking before he could overthink it. "The cameras are off, but we could still..."
He trailed off, suddenly unsure if he was overstepping. They rarely spent time together off-camera, though their text conversations had become increasingly frequent.
Y/N hesitated, and for a terrible moment Seokmin thought she was going to decline. Then she smiled, nodding. "I'd like that. I'm starving after all that cotton candy and hotteok."
"A balanced meal of pure sugar," Seokmin agreed with relief. "The cornerstone of any nutritious diet."
They ended up at a small restaurant near the park, tucked into a corner booth away from prying eyes. The conversation flowed easily, moving from reflections on their day to stories from their respective careers to childhood memories. It was the first time they'd spent significant time together without cameras recording their every word, and Seokmin found himself cherishing the authenticity of it.
"Can I ask you something?" Y/N said after their food had arrived. "And you don't have to answer if it's too personal."
"Sure," Seokmin replied, curious.
"Why did you agree to do 'We Got Married'? You mentioned losing at rock-paper-scissors, but was that really it?"
Seokmin considered the question, wanting to give her an honest answer. "Partly, yes. The members volunteered me when the offer came in. But I could have refused if I'd really wanted to."
"So why didn't you?"
"I thought it would be good exposure," Seokmin admitted. "Both for me personally and for the group. And I thought it might be fun, in a terrifying sort of way." He paused, then added, "I didn't expect..."
"What?" Y/N prompted when he trailed off.
Seokmin met her eyes. "I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I have. Or to..."
Like you as much as I do. The words hovered unspoken between them.
"Me neither," Y/N said softly, seemingly understanding what he couldn't quite say. "It's been... unexpectedly nice."
There was that word again. Nice. Such a simple word for the complex emotions swirling between them.
The moment was interrupted by the arrival of their check, breaking the spell that had settled over their conversation. They split the bill and made their way outside, where reality awaited in the form of their respective managers parked nearby.
"Thank you for today," Y/N said as they prepared to part ways. "For winning Lucky, and for helping me on the Ferris wheel, and... everything."
"Thank you for making it so easy," Seokmin replied honestly. "Being married to you, even just for a TV show, has been... nice."
Y/N smiled at his echo of her earlier word. "See you for episode nine?"
"I'll be there," Seokmin promised. "With bells on, probably, knowing our PD's penchant for increasingly elaborate scenarios."
Y/N laughed, then surprised him by stepping forward and giving him a quick hug, Lucky the stuffed dog squished between them. "Goodnight, Seokmin."
"Goodnight," he replied, watching as she walked to her manager's car.
Later that night, as he lay in bed staring at the ceiling, his phone buzzed with a message. It was from Y/Nâa selca of her with Lucky the stuffed dog positioned on her pillow.
Y/N: Lucky says goodnight. He also says thanks to his ring toss champion dad.
Ring toss champion dad. The casual implication of shared parenthood, even of a stuffed animal, made Seokmin's heart do a complicated flip.
Seokmin: Tell Lucky he's welcome, and that his Ferris wheel survivor mom is the real hero of the day.
Y/N: We make a good team, don't we?
Such a simple question, laden with potential meanings.
Seokmin: The best team. Even if we disagree on rug colors.
Y/N: Especially when we disagree on rug colors.
Seokmin smiled at the callback to their decoration argument. There was something comforting about these inside jokes they'd developed, these shared references that belonged just to them.
Y/N: I had fun tonight. Both on and off camera.
Seokmin: Me too. We should do it again sometime.
Y/N: I'd like that.
Three simple words that made Seokmin's chest tighten with hope and fear in equal measure. As he set his phone aside, he couldn't help but wonder where this was heading. Two episodes left, and then what? Back to their separate lives, with nothing but memories of a fake marriage that had begun to feel anything but fake?
For the first time since the show began, Seokmin allowed himself to admit what he'd been trying to deny for weeks now: he was falling for Y/N. Not for the cameras, not for the show, but for real.
And that realization was both the most thrilling and terrifying thought he'd had all dayâfar scarier than any roller coaster or Ferris wheel could ever be.

"Hello, you must be the doctor. I'm here to visit my brothers and sisters. Is this where visitors register? Okay - Logistics Officer Entry Contract? Sister Nian! You lied to me again!"

At dawn, Yu set up a breakfast stall in front of his store.
The first batch of customers had already been waiting on the street. As usual, they asked for a few steamed buns, left coins, and hurried to work. Some of them left their things in a hurry, and Yu had to run a few steps to stuff them into the hands of the customers.
As the sun gradually rose, the elderly who were exercising in the early morning and the residents who went out to buy vegetables came to the stall in groups to buy breakfast for their families. Some wanted the fried dough sticks to be older, some wanted salty paste with spicy sweet paste and less sugar, five or ten portions were all different requirements, but this did not prevent Yu from chatting with the neighbors while turning the fried dough sticks over and putting them into the oil pan. Soon, they carried large and small bags to their homes.
The hawkers were calling out from all around, and the bells and horns were ringing on the street. Students were rushing to class, but they didn't mind spending a few minutes watching the chef, who was about the same height as them, making pancakes or rice balls. Those accompanied by their parents would occasionally be nagged by gossips like, "Look at the young chef", so Yu had to quickly smooth things over and hand the breakfast he had just made to the customers. After they opened their mouths and took a bite of the food, they had no time to criticize or refute.
Stop the chattering mouths and feed the hungry stomachs, whether it is the morning market, afternoon tea or dinner, this is what cooking is all about.
The food delivery cart stopped in front of the store, announcing the official end of breakfast time. After Yu sold and gave away the remaining meals to several latecomers, he took the stall back to the store. The waiter Lao Jiang got off the car and helped his small shopkeeper chef to move the dishes into the back kitchen, cleaned the shop, set up the benches, and lit the stove.
Thus Yuweiju was officially opened.

so long i've been here, so long are the stories i've written. of what i gathered and lost, loneliness becomes me and pain refuse to depart from me. i've embraced that which ate me away so when you came along, i had no part of me left to give.

Lately, whenever you came back home from work, rather than fatigued, you simply felt giddy. Work had become less of a responsibility and more like a friend hang-out you were paid to do. It was even comparable to the study sessions you and your friends usually have where you did have responsibilities to tend to but you had so much fun doing it.
Maybe Hyunjin was right. Maybe Jongho WAS your sugar daddy.
What kind of a boss would just instinctively take his car keys, grab your bag, and ask "We're trying that new sushi restaurant you talked about yesterday, right?" the moment your working hour ended. Not to mention the fact that Jongho had been driving you home every single day which may or may not have caused Mingi to turn into such a big baby, showing up at your place at 10 pm in his PJs with a deep frown on his face and stated that since you have replaced him with your boss, he now has the right to claim roommateship so he can get his fill of his best friend which caused you to sit him down with some milk and cookies and explain that your boss was not in the best headspace and you wanted to help him just like how you helped Mingi when he lost the ticketing war to his anime convention thing, like a toddler.
So even now, after spending yet another evening out having dinner with Jongho, distracting him from the pit that was his anxiety, you felt a sense of fulfilment.
"Hey pops, I'm home!" you called out the moment you got inside the house. Upon locking the front door, you heard sounds from the living room and you realized that must mean your grand uncle had spent time watching the tv with the caretaker before he went home. So you went over and just as you had suspected, your grand uncle sat bundled up in a blanket and his pyjamas on his wheelchair, watching some old movie about the war with his gaze seemingly zoning. You couldn't help but chuckle as you went over to sit down on the couch near him. "Are you even watching the movie, gramps?" you teased. Your grand uncle slowly turned his head and scoffed, "Watching? I lived through that war, you damn brat! I was barely a teen when I was dragged out of my father's rice paddy and shipped off to capital to defend my country! I was so green, I farted out grass! But even then, I managed-" "You managed to grab a general by the balls and knock his sorry ass to the ground, I remember the bedtime stories you old fart," you smirked which made him chuckle.
That was the relationship you had with your grand uncle. He was a no-nonsense guy who had proudly built a life for himself so even when you were merely five years old, he would not adhere to your temper tantrums when he wouldn't let you eat chocolate after 8 pm. He was not built to be a parent, that was obvious to everyone which was why he never did got married and he never had children. You were sure he was asexual or was just wound up to tight to actually understand what sex is or perhaps his scary demeanour scared any and every girl he tried to approach. But still, he raised you as best as he could with no complaints and that was something you will always be thankful to him for.
"Did you have a good day today?" You asked. He raised an eyebrow at you and frowned, "The little fruitcake you forced as my caretaker almost dropped me in the bathtub today, how do you think my day was?" You couldn't help but roll your eyes at the way he addressed the quirky Gen Z caretaker who matched his freak, "Gramps, that's offensive. You can't just say the word fruitcake so casually to address people behind their backs!" you scolded. Your grand uncle let out a sound of discontent as he waved his hands, "I call him fruitcake to his face and he called me a turtle ballsack to my face, it's all good fun! You people are so soft nowadays with your feelings and pushing your dislikes onto people and making them feel bad for the feelings you have, I have to wonder how do you communicate? Back then, we mocked each other's ancestors and wished the other would get cursed and by the evening, we pretended like nothing happened and we move on. That is how people should have kept being. Not these... Emotional cushions to avoid facing reality just because you don't like them," he scoffed.
You were about to retaliate when his words dawned on him, and then as you gazed at his face, facts started dawning on you as well. A long pause caused your question to hang in the air but the more you looked at him, the more you couldn't help but think of a certain someone who was also an old soul.
So, you blurted out, "What was it like?" "What was what like?" "What was the past like?" Your grand uncle narrowed his eyes at you and poked you on the knee with his bony finger, "Are you asking me to mock me, girl? I could have you investigated for elder abuse!" You scoffed and lightly tapped his wheelchair armrest, sending a vibration to him, "I'm serious gramps, I wanna know how it was back then! Particularly compared to now, is it... Hard for you to adjust to time? Did you... ever worry? Did you miss what you had back then?"
Sensing your genuine curiosity, your grand unlce exhaled slowly and leaned his body back on his wheelchair, joining his hands together in the middle as his elbows rested on the armrests. "The short answer is, it was the me that I lost," he stated confidently. You remained silent but kept your whole focus on him, urging him wordlessly to explain himself. "The past... Back then... I was a different person, obviously. I was abrasive, I was a shark, and I was unforgiving. I was a power to be reckoned with and you can see that with how people have often come to me to kiss my ass to get me to help them which was fine but I find that time mellowed me down a lot. When you were young, time moved slowly but as you grow older, time suddenly moves at a pace where you can't keep up so I feel... I feel that time has forced me to be slow without my consent." "Do you hate it?" "Do I hate time? I resent it. I resent time for allowing me to age to this point, a point where I can't even go to the bathroom by myself. But in a sense, I had to thank it for everything it had given me for without it, I would not have developed the character I needed to take you in and dear girl, while you can be a headache to handle when you were still growing up," a scoff from your lips cut his words but he smiled as he took notice of the small smile blooming in your face, "I will never resent it for bringing you to me."
By the end of his words, you were tearing up and thankfully your grand uncle took notice as he took your hand in his and patted your skin gently. His words struck deep because while you knew he was thankful to have you, the circumstance that brought you to him was unfair, bordering on cruel. "Why would you thank time for me? Why would you thank time for cutting my parents' life so short? Why couldn't have time let me be with my parents longer? You were allowed to have vast memories about the past when I can't even remember my parents. I hate it, I hate that I was too young to remember them," you shakily said as tears poured down your face slowly. Your grand uncle furrowed his eyebrows, "Time did not take your parents, girl, the gods did. Time is not cruel as it has no whims, it has no intention, its flow allows us to move forward instead of being torn between the past and the future. Time, as cruel as it seem to us and as much as we, I, resent it, I don't blame it and neither should you. You studied history so you should know better than others that the gods... They like to play with us mortals, they like to impose themselves on us and so, don't you blame time for your parents, you hear me? You may, however, blame it for my bad back because back then I could spend an entire afternoon catching tadpoles and insects but now I can't even bend down to put my sock on." You couldn't help but chuckle at his attempt of making you feel better and while you wanted to retaliate, you wanted to tell him how you know some of the gods he was talking about and they weren't half as bad, you figured it wasn't the time and also that he probably wouldn't believe you either. So you kept your mouth shut and nodded.
It was a known fact that your grand uncle hated seeing people crying but for you, he was okay with it. Or perhaps he had gotten used to it so much so that he was desensitized to it. But anyway, he waited until you calmed down for a bit before he patted your hand again, "You should get cleaned up, girl. Wash the stink of the day off of you because it's burning my eyes. No wonder no man has taken claim of you yet." And there he was. Almost automatically, your tears dried up as your eyes rolled, "Better my stench of hard work than yours. What is that, despair and misery eau de toilette by death?" you poked back as you stood up. "Try parfum you brat, I have the money to get the top-shelf shit, not the watered-down piss your giant twink often parades in my house," he snickered.
Even with the name-calling, no matter how seemingly harsh they were, you knew he loved you and he tolerated Mingi. He was just so allergic to positive emotions that he had to resort to his natural instinct to cancel them all out. He was a sad man before you came, alone and stuck dealing with people trying to exploit him so you learnt to navigate through that. Just like another man you knew.
With a hug, you bid good night to your grand uncle, offering to wheel him out to his room (or out his driveway to be taken by the garbage truck in the morning) but he denied, saying he wanted to give his caretaker something to shriek about in the morning, letting you know that a bit of fun would be interesting. You simply chuckle and agreed because from your experience with him, you knew he was right.

Hello. Could I request a fic with f reader working at Richmond and Jan Maas faling in love with reader. Just fluff. â¤ď¸
Jan Maas*Sweet As You
Pairing: Jan Maas x f!reader
Word count: 1134
Warnings: pure fluff
Masterlist here
There were definite perks and draw backs of working at Richmond. On one hand as a receptionist, you got paid to do honestly not very much. However, on the other hand you had to deal with a weird amount of prank calls from football fans.
One recently developing perk was the free coffee you received every morning. No, it wasn't a company thing or from your boss or other colleagues. Every morning this week Jan Maas walked in with a black coffee in one hand and an iced caramel mocha latte with an extra shot of expresso in the other.
It all started when you happened to walk into work at the same time and he noticed the Starbucks cup in your hand. "Is that even coffee at this point?" He half teased half seriously wondered.
"It is coffee," you said, drawing out the words as you defended yourself as Jan opened the front door for you, "caffeine not enough for me. I need that sugar high to deal with you lot,"
Jan chuckled at you, walking you over to the desk where your coworker pretended not to be listening in. "Funny. I thought you were sweet enough. See you later," he said, walking away to leave you a blushing mess.
However as soon as he got out of sight Jan became equally as flustered as he realised what he'd said. What was worse was Sam hearing him muttering under his breath about it resulting in Sam telling all the guys who then set up a plan to teach Jan how to flirt.
The issue was he wasn't very good at it. Instead, every morning without fail he got your coffee for you. "Hey Jan," you called, rolling down your car window as you slowed down. It was 7am and he was walking to Richmond with two coffees in hand, "need a lift?"
Jan preferred to walk. He'd never really seen the big deal around cars. However, he was quick to accept your offer. "My coffees will bankrupt you," you joked as you accepted the drink before resuming your drive.
"Donât worry about it," he laughed, "your worth the money,"
"Think you can buy my affection? âyou teased as you were pulling into Richmond.
"Maybe," he said it quietly, his eyes darting away before back to yours. "Is it working?" He asked.
You turned the car off, taking a long sip out your coffee while pretending to think about it, "I think it might be," you finally said, a smile on your lips and a large grin on his. "Throw in a pastry next time and I'm yours,"
When people saw you get out the same car there were some rumours to say the least. Another drawback of the job. However, another perk was walking in right now with a coffee and a suspiciously sweet-smelling brown bag.
"I wasn't sure which to get so I picked whichever looked the sweetest," he said as he placed the bag down.
"You know me so well," you grinned, "thanks though. Take it you don't have time to have one before practise?" You asked despite knowing he didnât, but you couldn't help but try.
Your smile plus the way your eyelashes batted had Jan Maas willing to pay the late fee. "I suppose one wouldn't hurt," he said as he moved to sit on the edge of the reception desk as you offered him a pastry, "You should make Stroopkoeken with me one day. You'd like them,"
"What are they?" You asked, not realising how adorable Jan thought your head tilt was in your confusion.
"They're like a Carmel biscuit. My mum would make them for me growing up. Better than any Starbucks pastry," he joked, âBut you have to make them from scratch to get the best experience,â
âYouâll have to teach me some time,â you smiled back and is if on queue his phone began ringing.
Jan deflated when he saw his teammates call, âIâll need to go now. Iâll see you later,â
As he began to walk away you cringed before taking a deep breath, âWait!â you called making him stop in his tracks. âAre you free tomorrow night? Maybe we could try making those biscuits,â you offered with an awkward smile that he found insanely endearing.
A wide grin broke onto his face, âIâd love to. Itâs a date,â he said before actually turning to go to practise, leaving you a grinning mess.
-
âA baking date is perfect!â
âNah man you should go out to a restaurant for the first date,â
âOh, what if you take her to Samâs place for dinner first?â
âThereâs a new bar up the street you could go to after,â
âWhat you gonna wear bruv?â
âMake sure you actually clean up. Chicks notice that kinda stuff,â
âOh, you should get her flowers. Birds dig flowers,â
âAnd make sure when you go to kiss her- â
âWoah woah guys!â Jan said, standing up from the bench and pushing past his teammates whoâd essentially jumped on him after practise when they found out why he was late, âItâs just a first date. Well, I think itâs a date. I said itâs a date, but people here donât always mean date, oh god what if she doesnât realise itâs a date?â Jan began to panic, turning to his equally clueless mates.
They were all panicking till a loud, âOi,â stopped them, âDonât listen to these pricks,â Roy told him after pretending not to care the whole time, âShower, shave, tidy up, and calm down. Sheâll know itâs a date since all you two do is flirt like some snot nosed teens,â he said, rolling his eyes.
âRoyâs right,â Sam said, standing to put a hand on Janâs shoulder, âYouâve got nothing to worry about,â
âNot what I said but alright,â Roy shrugged but this time he got ignored.
Well apart from Jamie who rolled his eyes before adding his own words of wisdom. âYeah, mate just be yourself,â
-
The kitchen was now a mess, sugar spilt everywhere, and a pot that looked like it would never be clean again and of course a plate of perfectly made biscuits. âI donât know how my mum made it look so easy,â Jan said.
You laughed as you reached up to wipe the flour off his forehead, âYeah but they taste good so who cares,â you said, noticing the way his cheeks tinged pink whenever you touched him.
âTheyâre almost as sweet as you,â he smiled softly, brushing your hair out of your face making your own skin flush.
Enough was enough you thought, âSo tell me something,â you said, Jan humming as he waited for you to ask, âWhy havenât you kissed me yet?â you nearly whispered.
âI thought youâd never ask,â

Warnings: pure fluff
See you later," he said, walking away to leave you a blushing mess.

boyfriend drabbles (pt.23)

pairing: jungkook x reader
summary: the one where your friends ditch you and you call jungkook to come pick you up
word count: 970+
boyfriend drabbles masterlist!
âSo howâs your sugar daddy?â Chaeyong teasingly asks you from across the table, leaning closer to hear your response.
You frown, âHeâs my boyfriend, Iâm not with him for his money, you know,â
Chaeyong had always been inquiring about Jungkook, bringing up how much money your boyfriend had and how much he spoiled you with buying designer items and jewelry.
Although your other friends, Yeji and Sohee, had never said anything bad about your relationship, they hadnât defended you or told Chaeyong off about it either.
It hurt you deep inside, knowing that Chaeyong had probably thought of you as feeding off Jungkook because of his money. It wasnât true either, your job paid you well and you always tried to pay for your own necessities and things you wanted.
It wasnât as if everytime you wanted something, you asked Jungkook to get it for you. He always insisted on you using his credit card for purchases, one of his love languages being gift giving.
So to see your closest friend belittle your relationship and genuine feelings with Jungkook, it broke your heart, it made you emotional.
âAre you sure youâre not just there to suck him off and earn some cash? Because I swear, that man has enough money to buy you a whole new house and a new car,â She snickers, taking a sip of her drink.
âWe both genuinely love each other, Chae, and no, I donât simply have sex with him just to get his money, if he ever spends money on me, it isnât even because I asked for it!â Your voice begins to crack, upset at how cornered you were feeling.
âGeez, okay chill, why are you being so sensitive? Anyways thereâs nothing wrong with admitting you also benefit off his money too yâknow,â
Thatâs how you found yourself tearing up at the table in this small cafe, Chaeyong raising an eyebrow at your reaction.
âDamn you donât have to cry, I didnât say anything bad,â She laughed menacingly in your face, as Yeji nudged her as a memo to stop, seeing your eyes turn red.
âFuck off, Chaeyong, you donât have to comment on my relationship like that,â You sneer back at her, glaring at the said girl through teary eyes.
She raised her hands up, chuckling, âOkay, then letâs leave,â
The next thing you know, Chaeyong drags both of your other friends out of the cafe, even though both of them attempt to resist her pull, she manages to lead them out the door.
Thatâs when you finally broke down into tears, feeling cornered and now abandoned by your friends.
You scroll through your contact lists, hovering your finger above the name, âKook â¤ď¸â
You click on it, hearing the line dial, as you try to control your sobs from catching the attention of other customers in the small cafe.
âHi baby, having fun?â Thereâs a cheerful voice that rings over the phone, Jungkook must be feeling the total opposite of what youâre feeling at the moment.
âYeah, Iâm done, can you come andvpick me up?â You hold back your sniffles, trying your best to talk in a stable and calm voice.
The last thing you wanted was for Jungkookâs mood to be ruined simply because you were being sensitive over your friendâs words. So you quickly ran to the bathroom to wash your face, blinking back tears as you slowly breath to calm yourself down.
Kook â¤ď¸: baby iâm outside in my car, come out đ
The notification on your phone pops up, as you hurriedly dry your hands, making your way out of the toilet.
When you enter your boyfriendâs car, you donât make eye contact, hoping that he wouldnât see your bloodshot eyes.
However Jungkook on the other hand is bewildered why you were currently sitting and looking out the window in silence instead of being your normal chirpy self, excitedly giving him a kiss before rambling on and on about what had happened and how your day went.
âBaby, whereâs my kiss?â He looks over to you, using his finger to guide your face to look at him, his eyes flash with worry as he spots your red eyes and nose.
âWhat happened? Did you get hurt?â He immediately searches your body for any bruise or cut, but none were to be seen.
You shake your head, whimpering as you try to hold back your sobs. The fact that your comfort person was right in front of you made it hard not to simply just lean into his embrace, to let him tell you that everything would be alright.
âIâm sorry, I didn't want to ruin your mood by showing you I was crying,â You sniffle, tears dripping onto your skirt as it darkens the material.
âWhat? Baby you know you can tell me anything, I want nothing more than to comfort you, you know that,â He whispers, giving your temple a peck as he swipes away the tear rolling down your cheek.
âI know, itâs just, you know how Chaeyong always comments on our relationship, and she kept insisting that there was a part of me that was with you for your money, but I really-â You canât seem to even finish your explanation as you bursts into sobs, body shaking as more tears roll down your cheeks.
âOkay, itâs all right, Iâm here, itâs okay just breathe yeah?â Your boyfriend comforts you, as he kisses you, in an attempt to console your distraught self.
âLetâs quickly get home and Iâll cuddle with you in bed, we can watch a movie together okay?â He suggests, stroking your cheek fondly with his thumb. You nod your head in response, relief flushing over you as you already feel better with his presence.
You let Jungkook take care of you for the rest of the night, and you also make a reminder in your head to solve the issue with your friends.

Here is allllll the canon and non cannon thoughts I have about Caramel arrow put into a neat little post ^^
Also, thanky @speadrunner for prompting me this was high quality enrichment for me brain.
Allright!
To start we're only going on cannon stuff and there's actually alot to work with compared to the usual bg character im obsessed with! We have the main story and beast yeast. [last cookie standing too if you consider that cannon. I personally don't]
đ˛ Canon đł
đ¤She's very passionate.
We've seen how heated she gets when defending herself or just talking about other people she likes even if it gets her in trouble at times.
đ¤ she's very loyal
Her loyalty to the dark cacao kingdom and dc himself is stated many times. I don't think I need to defend that ^^u but there's also her loyalty to her comrades! It's shown really well in the scene with the alter of the fallen where she takes time to light an incense for them before heading to the citadel.
đ¤she works extremely hard
I would say she overworked herself but we've really only really seen her in stressful times tbh. [Other than in the cookie kingdom too]
Buuuutt! We also know that during her banishment she made her own arrows, gave her rations to the villages near by, traveled between them, was implied to be protecting them I'm pretty sure, oh! and was hunting for herself [and probably the villages] during her banishment which was around 4 weeks or so [based her saying "a moon has passed"] so she's no stranger to working hard! [Becoming first watcher also is a big achievement so add that to our list!]
đ¤she's close to dc and knew dark choco
For her being close to dark cacao, it's implied in the first story but really comes out in beast yeast.
1] She can read his fighting style from the scene where they are lost in the fog
2] She quickly clocked that he was uneasy about something when his sword was acting up.
Not to mention the end scene where he held hers and crunchy chips hands [that was so sweet ;.;] he clearly cares about them just as much.
Now with being close to dark choco! They have dialoge in the kingdom where they talk about training together again and she says she knew him when he was a general in the citadel. So yea ^^
đ¤oh! and obviously Boba is her favorite drink. It's literally in her ideal animation and often shown in official art of her.
Fun fact! Her name isn't actually Caramel arrow in other translations! It's brown sugar ^^ but I like Caramel arrow more tbh it fits her design better.
đłless cannon but I have circumstantial evidence đ¤ đ˛
đ¤she uses work to avoid her emotions
I know the opening scene with her saying "no more tears" can absolutely be taken as "i have work to do, we can cry later" but the fact she starts listing all the stuff she has to do after helps my case.
She also tends to stay relatively calm in comparison to others during stressful times which can also be interpreted as her working hard to avoid her feelings.
đ¤she's not someone who holds grudges often
Ok so, obviously affogato is a whole other story. I think you would also hold a grudge if that happend to you but she doesn't give any "on sight" energy to dark choco, infact she wanted to spend time with him again in their kingdom dialoge.
She hasn't really shown that much anger toward anyone other than affogato tbh.
đ¤ her and crunchy chip have a sibling relationship
You can obviously say they just banter or "are friends" but as a person with siblings, those two are siblings.
đ˛Head cannons đł
Cannon has left to go buy milk and wont be coming back ^^
đ¤she likes to do wood carving ^^ on long nights it's something readily available to keep her busy
đ¤she has alot of scars on her hands and legs just from exsploreing, fighting, and crunchy chip being a fucking menace.
đ¤she's got a pretty stong stomach and started to eat deer crackers during her banishment I elaborate in the tags about this here ->[https://www.tumblr.com/dreamyblanket/778323584757137408/sorry-guys-wafer-on-the-brain-its-terminal-uu?source=share] [note, I dont recommend eating them yourself have a little nibble if your so inclined but you will probably give yourself a stomach ache if you do]
đ¤she has a hard time accepting anything beyond familial love [yes, I am talking about this in relation to wafer]
đ¤she's really good at hands on learning but as soon as a book is infront of her she checks out, please for the love of witches don't tell her to write anything other than a work report she will hate it.
đ¤on that note! she's good at visual maths but not written math. Her skills are mostly practical. [Again, please don't giver her a math test she will cry.]
đ¤has tried dog treats before, mostly because crunchy chip eats them [assume they all eat weird stuff ok?] She thought they were ok.
đ¤has never left the dark cacao kingdom and has no desire to other than for work, it's her home she knows it inside and out.
đ¤because she has deer crackers on her 24/7 the wild deer know her usual walking routes.
đ¤doesn't like fizzy drinks or sour things.
đ¤fucking loves sweet drinks, her order at Starbucks would make most people sick. [Whatever your thinking go sweeter.]
đ¤also! big fan of cool rocks, one time she accidentally cracked a geode and picked up a book about rocks willingly for the first time in her life! She promptly put it down after learning about geodes but still impressive for her!
đ¤her and affogato have never got along so during the time he was working his way into the advisory position she was his #1 opp
Yayyayayyyyy đ đ đ you made it to the end!!
I hope this is readable, I went over it 3 times but if anything is weird please do tell me^^
Anywho, this is the end for now >:] I plan on updating this with her like, childhood and relationship with wafer soon but that's going to be a separate post because this is allready freakishly long and that's like 2x long ///^^u///
Uh, I like her a normal amount.
#i hope you dont mind me @ you speadrunner ^^u if you do tell me and I'll remove it no questions đ#fun fact about me i can tell how serious i am about a charater based on if i write fanficton for them#i have only ever written stuff for caramel. metal. and purple#I've written the most for metal though.#and made multiple mini comics about her but that's besides the point#unedited and including the 2nd half of this post this was over 3k words which is alot for me#dreamy talks#[đ§]#god. i want her to be happy#which is funny considering i usually put my faves through the meat grinder. even metal wasn't free from such a fate#but Caramel gets a nice life ^^ âĄ#also I've been thinking about a shop name for wafer and Caramel! bc i have âstardust hourglassâ for me and metal but no special one for her#it'll come to me but whennnnnnnnnnnn >.<#im a little nervous to post this all the sudden //o.o//u

horse girl zoro/prince sanji au that @redgitanako and i talked about way back when because it suddenly crossed my mind OKAY HERE WE GO
zoroâs a travelling bounty hunter with three horses. yes, three. donât tell kitetsu and enma but wadoâs his favourite
wado was kuinaâs horse; when kuina died she was so sad because she didnât get why kuina was gone and for a while zoro had to emotionally support a horse AND himself, but horses are smart creatures. wado understood by herself after a while. they donât really talk about it.
on that note, zoro talks to his horses. people look at him like heâs a few crayons short of the whole pack but they donât say anything because he looks scary as hell; built like a brick wall, one eye gone, gnarly scar across his chest and all
(theyâll never know that heâs having an argument with enma about buying supplies where one party is contributing in possibly-misinterpreted horse looks. the crayons arenât missingâ but itâs admittedly a little hard to prove theyâre there, zoro, we canât keep defending you like this)
sanji's the third prince of the kingdom that hires him; soraâs the queen, and his siblings are all decent other than regular sibling assholery. judge is on the run and theyâve made the collective decision that they want his head on a stick.
zoro expects sanji to be a stuck-up priss because he LOOKS like a stuck-up prissâ look at his perfect hair. his clothes. his heeled boots and his stupid curly eyebrows
but NO. well, yes, sanji IS a little bit of a stuck-up priss but also, heâs good with horses?? wado takes to him like a DREAM and zoro's flabbergasted because anybody who has ever tried to coddle her other than zoro or kuina has gotten kicked in the head, but sanji's petting at her neck and cooing at her in baby-talk and she's licking sugar cubes and apple slices out of his palm. zoro feels so betrayed.
like of COURSE his horse had to take a liking to the boy he hates OF ALL PEOPLE.
(zoro. at this moment the horse is smarter than you. listen to her.)
reijuâs the princess here, but sanjiâs the one who got all the magic-esque affinities. animals LOVE him. he would be a literal disney princess if not for the fact that he doesnât love them back
like SQUIRREL. WHY ARE YOU SHITTING ALL OVER MY YARD. GO AWAY. WHY IS A DOG TRYING TO LICK MY HAIR. WHYYY IS THIS BIRD BRINGING ME STICKS ALL THE TIME. heâs trying to fall asleep. he hears a TSKTSKTSKTSKTSKTSKTSK. he sits up and gets right out of bed and starts yelling at the lizard on the ceiling.
he does have a pretty mare called maple, though! (and zoro canât help but love her too; itâs a sign that the mosshead doesnât clock until much, much later)
and then zoro comes into his life with his three horses and sanji yanks him in by the collar like "listen up, swordsman. i do not CARE how sweet your horses are. i do not CARE howâ howâ WHATEVER you are. if you stink up my stable i will make you sleep in it, are we clear?" and zoro just nods because heâs having a bit of a gay crisis
sanji is 1. pretty 2. entirely able to hold his own and 3. Wado Approved⢠and zoro does NOT know how to deal. at all. heâs holding onto wadoâs reins for dear life. he wonders if the same ultimatum would apply if he swapped out the word stable for bed and immediately wants to dunk himself into the horse trough.
meanwhile sanji isnât spared at all. sora sits on her throne, one eyebrow raised as her son goes on and on about how "mother i hate the swordsman you hired. he's green. and ugly. like a troll. like an OGRE. his hands are too big. his boots are too shiny. his earrings are cute but only because i want them. his EVERYTHING smells like horse. he might as well be a horse with how strong he is, did you know how many hay bales he carried at once??" and sheâs just like,,, "honey are you sure this is hate"
she certainly wouldnât mind them being together. zoro is rough around the edges and does smell a bit like horse, admittedly, but he was clearly raised rightâ heâs respectful in his own gruff way and he does things with immense care. soraâs noticed. she knows her son well enough to know that heâs noticed, too.
one day sanji bumps into zoro on his way out of the baths and wow. okay. so he doesnât smell like horse ALL the time and oh his hair is damp and there's a towel around his waist and he is very, very shirtless and sanji turns around in a panic and walks face-first into a pillar.
he watches zoro care for his horses, carefully brushing through their manes and coats as he speaks to them softly, and alright. maybe this guy isnât all bad. animals, sanji has noticed, are brilliant judges of character; horses especially can be testy and temperamental, and they donât hesitate to kick anybody they donât like.
zoroâs horses love him, and itâs obvious. maple looks forward to the snacks he slips her when he thinks that nobodyâs looking. that says a lot more about his character than anything else.
after a few days zoro has a solid plan down and sets out to find judge, and suddenly the stables are empty. sanji finds himself going out with maple more and more, exploring the woods around their forest to pass the time because he needs something to keep his mind occupied and thereâs only so much he can cook. judge might be a piece of shit, but heâs also an evil genius, and sanji refuses to admit heâs worried even though he is.
and then zoro comes back with judgeâs war helmet wrapped in a cloth, gore dripping off the bottom edge as he sets it at soraâs feet.
heâs a little banged up, tired as hell with a couple of scratches here and thereâ nothing serious, but sanji still drags him to the infirmary and cleans him up perhaps a little more emotionally than either of them had expected
he passes out for a good few days afterwards but sora invites him to stay for a little longer, a time frame that nobody specifies. zoro just kind of⌠doesnât leave. itâs strange for him; heâs wandered, always. he gets antsy staying in one place for too long, but this blond prince that is strangely kind and gives back as good as he gets is really something else.
the days pass. they race and bicker and soon enough, all three of zoroâs horses have brass name plaques tacked above what are now their stalls. he had a room in the palace and a place at the dinner table. sanjiâs hair has grown long, now, and neither of them talk about the way that zoroâs stay has become something that feels more permanentâ
until zoro finally finds the balls to give sanji one of his earrings as a courting gift. itâs the first one of many, but at that moment sanji just looks at it wide-eyed and zoro starts to shrink back all like "if you. don't want it that's alright. i'll get you something new, something elseâ" because look, he knows heâs not much. he has money, but not enough to give sanji something really nice. not enough to get something thatâs more impressive than all the jewels and gold that the prince could have at a whim. heâs a bounty hunter that came from dirt and this earring is the most precious thing he has to offer, but he understands ifâ
sanji kisses him. yells something borderline incoherent along the lines of about fucking time as he shakes zoro by the shoulders, but heâs smiling very brightly and heâs very beautiful and zoro has a feeling they're going to be just fine.
(sora and the siblings breathe a collective sigh of relief, because the pining looks and dejected sighing were really getting a little ridiculous.)
(they speak too soon. after they get together it somehow gets WORSE.)
this was a ride⌠(get it. get it.) okay iâll stop HOPE YOU ENJOYED HEH i know a lot of places are having a flu season/covid wave going around rn so make sure to hydrate and eat well!! muaks đ˝

Swapped sugar daddy anon crawling back into ur inbox, (I am continuing to write the beginning of their relationship, and ngl my respect for fic writers has tripled. I have no idea how you do this I feel like a 5 yr old smacking 2 barbies together and yelling kiss) and apologies for how long this is but Iâve been thinking about how everything eventually blows up in their faces and I kinda want it to be a pregnancy scare in her final year? Theyâve been seeing each other for a few years now, and they get a little relaxed about things, theyâre exclusive and sheâs on the pill so they donât have to worry about it. Until her period is several weeks late so she takes a test just in case and suddenly they really do. And oh god she wants kids, especially Emmrichâs kids, but not right now??? She doesnât want to have to juggle pregnancy/a baby while writing and defending her thesis. They havenât even talked about kids yet even if sheâs pretty sure he wants them? He hasnât acknowledged her hints about marriage, is it because he doesnât want to marry her? Sheâs so scared about what this means and she needs Emmrichâs support and why is he being so weird and cagey about this? Does he think sheâs trying to baby trap him? (She doesnât know but he wouldnât mind, heâd probably say thank you)
And Emmrich is in crisis mode. Now, he is a pro choice king so whatever rook wants is what happens, but also oh god he wants this child sooo bad. Heâs always wanted kids but heâd kinda given up on it at this point and add in that itâs Rooks baby? a little piece of their love made physical (Donât think too hard about how she doesnât really love you Emmrich). An excuse to still see her sometimes, even if it means watching her eventually move on and marry and start a family with someone else. Even if she doesnât want to be involved he could keep this little part of her (its only for a second, but he thinks heâd give her anything she asked for, heâd pay off her student loans, heâd buy her a fucking house, if she let him have this even if she walks away from it) but she canât know that. Heâd never forgive himself if he pressured her into this no matter how much he wants it. And he realises how completely and utterly fucked he is. Rook is the love of his life but he isnât hers and thereâs no way that this can continue as it is. If she keeps the baby sheâll never really be able to leave him behind, and is he selfish enough to ruin her life like that? Heâs already bought the last three years with fancy restaurants and expensive gifts, what can he possibly offer her thatâs worth the rest of her life?
Iâm still not 100% sure about how it all comes out but I imagine that it's probably a fight, their first big real fight, about how rook feels like Emmrichâs being avoidant and unsupportive and Emmrich is fighting for his life bc internally heâs hanging on by a thread, like why is she treating this like their relationship is actually real? Heâs trying to build up some emotional distance bc no matter how this goes heâs kinda fucked and he wants to make sure that he makes it through this at least somewhat emotionally intact. I think rook eventually calls him out on this, saying something about how she thought he was serious about this, about her, how she thought they were gonna get married but how heâs acting is making her rethink that bc it doesnât seem like he is very serious about her right now. And he says something about how of course he wants to marry her but he wouldnât put her in that position bc he knows it would be unfair to ask her for that. And rook is like what the actual fuck are you talking about Emmrich? And Emmrich is crying at this point, quietly and very prettily but he is crying. And this is when the misunderstanding comes out, where Emmrich is like âI know you donât actually love me and I donât expect you to, but I would appreciate it if we could discuss this situation without pretending that you do.â and this is when rook starts to put the pieces together and is like âwait do u think i'm only with you for your moneyâ and Emmrichâs like âyes? Why else would you be dating me?â
I have absolutely zero ideas on how this is actually resolved but i know that emmrich 100% ugly sobs at some point. And realistically heâs probably still quite insecure about whether or not rook actually does love him but i feel like they work it out eventually and get married and are disgustingly happy together.
Also idk if they keep the baby or not, but they absolutely have at least 1 kid at some point.
BABYYYYYY I am ON MY KNEES begging you to publish this because I have read and re-read it so many times that Iâm basically in a parasocial relationship with your asks. At this point, just reading your ideas is activating my primal hunger instincts. Iâm starving. I am THIS CLOSE to organizing a fandom-wide intervention where we collectively cyberbully you into dropping this holy manuscript.
The way I flatlined at "pro-choice king"âlike, I ascended. I left my body. LMAO
Listen, I am normally violently allergic to the "and they lived happily ever after with 2.5 kids and a suburban mortgage" trope. I break out in hives. I see it, and suddenly the book I loved turns into a mid-tier Hallmark movie where the protagonist goes from slaying demons to clutching her stomach and whispering âoh my god.â Like, girl. GIRL. No. Keep that away from me. Anyway, thanks for attending my TED Talk.
BUT. FUCKING. EMMRICH VOLKARIN. This man was engineered in a lab to be a father. He was born for it. I go absolutely rabid over the idea of him having a daughter. He is so girl-dad-coded that itâs spiritual. Rook so much as mentions her period is late, and this man is weeping.
Heâs already drafting a will.
He's calling his lawyer.
Heâs distributing his gold bars.
Heâs making her his sole life insurance beneficiary.
"And rook is like what the actual fuck are you talking about Emmrich?" â lmfao nah for real. What did you think these last three years were? And Emmrich does that Gob face from Arrested Development, you know the one:
I want him to cry and then I want them to fuck and then I want him to cry while they fuck. That's it, your honor.
