#What if we were soulmates separated by hundreds of years and I slept with your mummified finger under my pillow to feel your cursed energy

There is something very delicious about Gojo satoru spending his whole life fighting curses since his childhood for humanity's sake while yearning for the King of Curses.
Do you think Gojo was tempted to eat Sukuna's finger given that he had it for god knows how long?
I mean ......He was lonely and bored.
Imagine feeling different from everyone else, like a freak, and being told that the reason curses are growing stronger is because of YOU being born into the world. and the only person you might possibly connect with is this 1000-year-old king of curses, to whom you are holding a mummified finger that you must destroy in some way in order to save humanity.
All of this for people who can't even begin to understand you.
However, you could just... eat it.
and HE will be present.
The only being who can comprehend YOU.
Do you think the finger's cursed energy was luring him to eat it? That thing has strong cursed energy, and the seal was weakening everyday.
I know Gojo was salivating 😮💨
There's only one in a million chance that someone survives eating it, but this is Gojo Satoru we are talking about; he's the first person born with six eyes & limitless in 400 years; he's as special as he can get.
he's also very confident, arrogant, and CRAZY; the fact that the higher-ups will not approve if he consumes it will just serve to entice him to do so. What are they going to do about it? execute him?
He appeared to be pleased that Sukuna had been reincarnated & was all giddy giving Yuji another finger to eat. he was giggling and shit, he was way too excited about this. I'm starting to think it's the reason he likes Yuji so much (lol)
The whole thing about him relating to Sukuna wasn't brought up before the Shinjuku showdown, but Gojo must have always felt that way.
He was a little shit when he was a child, and he was also an edgy teenager with a fuck the weak mindset.
I know he had a crush on Sukuna prior to his reincarnation.
I JUST KNOW IT OKAY??
#jjk#gojo satoru#ryomen sukuna#sukugo#gosuku#my post#I saw fan art of Gojo using Sukuna's finger as d*ldo and I've never been the same#What if we were soulmates separated by hundreds of years and I slept with your mummified finger under my pillow to feel your cursed energy#so I feel less alone🥺#Honestly we need more fics about this#We need more of gojo yearning for sukuna#I just need sukuna inside of gojo in every possible way please#Gokuna I will always love you#hashtag wish i could write

Have some Zelink fluff(?) hehehe
(slight spoilers for ToTk)
“Are we soulmates in every universe?”
“We don’t have a choice.”
I lost you again, Zelda.
…
After a hundred years in deep sleep.
Not even feeling a wake of consciousness.
The world I knew was overruled by nature.
The places I knew before were not the same.
The homes I’ve seen, destroyed, different.
The people are different. They don’t know me.
No one that I knew was here.
There’s Impa, and her clan.
The people of Hateno. The Rito. The Gerudo.
The Zoras and the Gorons.
Travelers, merchants, good people.
But no one that I knew.
Revali, Daruk, Mipha, Urbosa. The king.
They were gone.
You were gone.
But not anymore.
…
It’s been a peaceful three years.
Slowly, everything has been restored in new ways I couldn’t imagine.
The people love you. Their Princess.
I was anxious, scared actually. Of placing you in the position of Princess. A leader. You must’ve been so tired, so much energy, and time keeping the evil at bay.
I didn’t want to put you in a place where you’d have to stretch yourself thin anymore than you were.
But, the one lesson I always seem to forget that you have taught me time and time again, is to never underestimate you.
You placed yourself in that role you swore you could never uphold. And you became the person who brought up the whole kingdom out of such a dark rule.
And I followed in return. I’ll always follow you.
I’m your knight.
I’m the one who will follow you to every house, every village, every forest, every mountain, every desert, every corner of Hyrule. I will follow you, protect you, watch you and let you know you’re not alone.
You were never alone.
You’re never alone when we are exploring a large and dark cave, knowing danger lurks inside.
You’re never alone in the places you loved to travel to, to discover, for research or to simply to gaze upon and admire.
You’re never alone on nights when you couldn’t sleep because of the nightmares you’d have of that fateful day. And it was hard for you to go back to sleep.
Because I will be there.
With either a weapon in my hand, or my arms open for embrace. I will be there for you.
…
The night before we began our exploration under the castle rubble, our supplies were packed, and all of our equipment was ready for the day to come. You slept next to me, a gentle hum of your voice every time you’d gently breathe. You were asleep, but I couldn’t close my eyes again.
I had a dream.
I saw you, and I saw myself.
But we looked different.
First you and I were on large birds, in the sky.
Soaring without care in the world.
And then we were young, in a castle. You gave me such an odd instrument. But it played beautiful music
Then we changed again. We were at sea. What a vast sea it was.
Then we were under a blanket of twilight, only to be pierced by your light.
We changed again, and again, and again.
…
I understand now.
This life, our life, is a cycle.
That you and I are doomed to repeat over and over again.
To stop a malefic doom that none of us conjured.
We are here, together, because we don’t have a choice.
But I don’t care.
I don’t care if I die, and come back once again as the hero.
I don’t care that I’m linked to this chain of a spiral that will not cease due to a curse that has been placed thousands upon thousands, upon thousands of years ago.
I don’t care, because you’re here.
We don’t have a choice, but I wouldn’t want it any other way.
In all of the lives we’ve lived together, you were happy with me. You smiled at me. In every version of you, your gracious smile never changed.
And my love for you, never changed.
It’s a curse I’m happy to carry, as long as you’re with me.
A curse that has blessed me beyond measure.
…
Now we are separated again, you’re in a place I can’t reach you yet.
I only see your figure above so distantly. You’ve become a part of the sky. Your tears hitting the earth. Staining the land with your memories. You must feel so alone…I’m so sorry.
I lost you again, Zelda. And I’m so sorry.
But, I will be with you again. No matter what it takes.
You’re meant to be with me. My silent princess, my Zelda.
I will always save you.
Until the ends of eternity.

Looks Like Someone Picked a Whole Bushel of Oopsie Daisies
Chapter Ten: Shades of Blue
As always, thanks to @edward-or-ford and @pacific-ship!
How can you leave me on my own? Desperate and destitute, these seconds feel like lifetimes without you.- New Years Day, My Dear
Mabel marked off February 1st in her calendar with an X in her pink gel pen with sparkles (was it really even a gel pen if there were no sparkles? Mabel’s opinion was firmly on the side of ‘no, absolutely not’).
Just two hundred and twelve days to go. She was counting the days, the hours, the seconds (okay, maybe just the days, she wasn’t that good at math) till her parents could no longer keep her from her soulmate.
Because on August 31st, 2017, Mabel and her super awesome brother-boyfriend-soulmate combo would be turning eighteen, and there was nothing their parents could do to keep them apart once they turned eighteen.
Their parents had insisted they were monitoring their texts, and that they weren’t allowed to speak under any circumstances.
Of course, Dipper had called Mabel from Grunkle Stan’s phone (turns out their parents had been total liars about that, too, and neither Grunkle Stan nor Grunkle Ford was in any way opposed to the whole soulmate situation) as soon as she got home, and they had both downloaded an untraceable messaging app where they could text, make phone calls, and send pictures.
As one might imagine, they sent a great deal of pictures.
And also videos.
They had a lot of phone sex and sexy texting time, okay? They’d only gotten to have actual in-person sex twice (twice!), so they had to compensate somehow.
In any case, there was nothing they could do about it before they turned eighteen, so they had to come up with workarounds.
Not that it could prevent the withdrawals that were likely to hit if another month or two went by without them seeing each other, of course, but it sure made the days go by easier.
Mabel wasn’t sure what her parents were planning to do once they hit the three month mark and the first of the withdrawal symptoms started. It wouldn’t be so bad at first, according to what Dipper had told her regarding the massive amount of research he’d done. Probably just more of the usual depression she’d been having since she watched him disappear behind their car, and then sleepiness, then headaches and body aches, and then things would get progressively worse until eventually, they wouldn’t be able to function at all anymore.
She didn’t know what their plans were for anything, really. She hadn’t spoken to them since they’d left Gravity Falls. She hadn’t said a word to them on the drive home; just put her headphones in and tuned out. She hadn’t said anything to them since, either. Her parents would try to get her to talk sometimes. Her mom did it more often. She had headphones on most of the time. She wasn’t even home very much.
She didn’t tell her parents when she was going to a friend’s house the way she had before. The first few times, her parents had called the parents of various friends until they found her. After awhile, though, they stopped.
She didn’t care if they were worried. They clearly weren’t worried enough about her and Dipper to let them be together, so Mabel didn’t see any reason to notify them or her comings and goings, despite their protests. Just because they wanted to cherry pick their concerns for her well being didn’t mean she had to let them.
Besides, she came home every few days, anyway. It was usually only for a night, of course. Then she’d go back out again. And yeah, that meant she was out on school nights, but her grades were good, and she always made it to class on time.
She wanted Dipper. She wanted to be in his arms again. She slept in the shirt she’d taken from him every night, and she hadn’t even washed it. It smelled more like her by that point than it did him, and not in a good way, either, but it made her feel a little better.
Plus, whenever she sent him pictures of herself wearing it (sometimes leaving enough of the buttons undone to where her cleavage was visible, other times leaving all the buttons undone), he got all possessive and sexy, and the night usually ended with them panting each other’s names into the phone as quietly as they could.
Mabel stared at the cheery pink gel pen in her hand. She wasn’t feeling particularly pink. She hadn’t felt pink in just over a month, as it happened. Which was strange, because Mabel always felt some shade of pink or purple.
But she could hardly remember what Dipper smelled like. She could hardly remember what he tasted like. What he felt like. If she couldn’t remember those things, she couldn’t make herself feel anything that wasn’t some shade of blue or other.
She hung the gel pen back up on her calendar, grabbed her overnight bag, and opened her bedroom door.
She had her headphones in and was looking at her phone, pulling up a playlist, so she didn’t notice her mother there until she spoke.
“Honey, why don’t you spend the night here? I’ll make your favorite, if you want, and we can watch a movie, and…” tears welled up in her mother’s eyes. “Please, sweetheart, I can barely remember what your voice sounds like.”
Well, Mabel thought, maybe you shouldn’t have decided to separate me from my soulmate, then.
With that in mind, Mabel shot her mother a glare severe enough to make her flinch, and pushed past her, her overnight bag bumping against the hallway wall as she did.
Her friends were waiting for her in their car outside.
Mabel loaded her bag into the trunk and ignored her mother watching her behind the curtains in the living room.
Squeezing into the only empty seat in the car, she grinned at her friends.
Kristin, Eva, and Julie had been total lifesavers. They knew about Mabel’s soulbro situation, and they were, like, super supportive.
“Your ‘rents still giving you shit?” Julie asked over her shoulder as she pulled out of the driveway.
Mabel sighed heavily, her shoulders drooping. “It’s not shit, exactly, just…” she sighed again. “They just, y’know. They won’t let me see him.”
“Yeah, that still doesn’t make any sense to me at all,” Kristin said, adjusting her black lipstick in a compact mirror. “I get that having an incesty-soulmate isn’t, like, ‘socially acceptable’ or whatever,” she did air quotes with her fingers, the motion seeming a bit off due to the tube of eyeliner she had in between her pointer and index fingers that she was using in lieu of lipstick. “But if my parents can handle me being bi, yours should be able to handle your soulmate being your brother.”
“Okay, so here’s the thing,” Eva cut in, turning around to address Kristin and Mabel. “I feel like, if it were me, and they were my kids, at first I’d be all freaked out, y’know? Cause like, they’re your kids, and then it turns out they’re soulmates and have to bang a whole bunch or they’ll get all eeeeuuughh, right? That’d mess anybody up, I think,” she paused for a moment before continuing. “But the thing is, though, I feel like after that initial freak out, I’d be kinda relieved, honestly.”
“Relieved? Really?” Julie was so surprised she forgot to use her turn signal when changing lanes. “Oops, my b,” she said, half to herself and half to the driver who had honked at her. Not that he could hear her, of course.
“Why relieved?” Mabel wondered.
“Well, if you’ve got a kid, right, and your kid finds their soulmate and it’s some stranger you don’t know, how do you know your kid’s soulmate isn’t gonna hurt them, or be a terrible person or something?” Eva reasoned.
“That’s a good point,” Kristin agreed, shutting her compact mirror with a snap. “Soulmates aren’t exactly exempt from domestic abuse and shit.”
Eva nodded. “Exactly, so like, if it were me, I feel like I’d be cool with it once I got used to the idea, because I’d know my kids, right, so I’d know they’d never hurt each other.”
“That makes sense,” Julie said thoughtfully.
“Mmm,” Mabel hummed. “I guess. I dunno. They’re weird about it.”
“Wait a sec,” Kristin interjected. “Didn’t you say your parents mentioned something about their parents being, like, religious fundies or something?”
Mabel nodded. “I think my grandmother on my mom’s side might be. Which would make sense, honestly, since my mom has been so militant about keeping the Dipster and me apart.”
“Okay, first of all,” Eva had a haughty air to her voice, and Mabel raised an eyebrow at her. “First of all,” she said again. “It’s ‘the Dipster and I’.”
The other three girls groaned, and Julie took a hand off the wheel to swat at her half heartedly.
“Ommigod, shut up!” Mabel giggled.
“Whatever, you love me and you know it,” Eva said with a grin.
The others grumbled but did not object.
“FYI, Mabes,” Kristin put a hand on her arm. “You should send him a selfie real quick.”
“Oh?”
“Mhm,” her friend nodded sagely. “You look hot, and it’s a damn crime he doesn’t get to see it in person, so you gotta help a brotha out!”
Mabel smiled and snapped a few dozen pictures of herself.
“Okay, which one’s best?” she asked, handing her phone to Kristin, who scrolled through and inspected each one.
“No, no, no… meh, maybe… no, no… oooo, yes, love it, this one, totes send this one! Look at how much boobage you got in there, just fuckin’ go for it, man!”
Mabel grinned and sent the picture to Dipper, along with a short little miss you <3 text.
He responded with a miss you too and then, two seconds after, fuck you’re beautiful.
She giggled and showed Kristin his response. “Mhm, mhm, told ya.”
“Okay, so, confession time,” Julie said, pulling into her parents’ driveway.
“Spill it,” Eva immediately demanded.
“So you guys know Chad, right?”
“Unfortunately,” Kristin said with a grimace. The guy in question was a bit of a fuckboi.
“No, don’t say that!” Julie whined, getting out of the car. “He’s really sweet!”
”Of course he is,” Eva deadpanned.
“He is!” Julie insisted. “Anyway, so he asked me out.”
Mabel groaned. “Jules, tell me you didn’t.”
“I might have, yeah.”
“Ugh, ew,” Kristin said.
“It’s not ew!”
“No, it’s totally ew,” Eva pointed out, and Mabel nodded her agreement.
“If it helps,” Julie was saying sheepishly as she unlocked her front door, “he’s really, really good.”
“Of course he’s really good, numbnuts,” Kristin said with an eye roll. “He’s slept with half the school.”
“So have you!” Julie said defensively.
“Oooo, gotta point there,” Mabel snickered, pointing a glittery blue nail at her friend.
“Yeah, but I’m, like, discreet about it,” Kristin pointed out. “And I’ve actually dated people seriously, too!”
“Anyway,” Julie cut in. “So the consensus is ew, then, huh?”
“Definitely ew,” Mabel agreed.
“Why are Chads always such Chads?” Kristin wondered aloud, opening the door to Julie’s bedroom.
“They really are,” Eva laughed, plopping down on the bed.
“Soooo…” Mabel trailed off. “Cards Against Humanity, anybody?”
———————————————————————Her friends always helped push the separation anxiety to the back of her mind, but with the other three girls asleep, there was nothing for Mabel to do but wallow.
Her phone lit up the dark room, illuminating the air mattress Mabel lay on.
Dipper had sent her a message.
I want you.
Mabel unplugged her phone and scrambled up as quietly as she could, crossing the hall into the guest bedroom and locking the door behind her and turning on the light, typing out a quick okay in response.
She knew from experience that as long as she was quiet, nobody would hear her.
Now? he asked.
Now.
And then he was calling her, and she was hastily stuffing her headphones in her ears and hitting the little phone icon on her screen.
“Hey,” he greeted, and she could hear the smile in his voice.
“Hey,” she said back. It was always such a relief to hear him. “I miss you.”
“We’ve been texting all day,” he laughed.
“I know, but…”
“It’s not the same,” he agreed with the words she hadn’t said.
“Yeah,” her voice was soft, and she heard him sigh on the other end of their call.
“Can I see you?” he asked after a moment.
“Y- yeah, one sec.” They’d done this more times than she could count, but somehow, she was always nervous.
She stripped out of her shorts and unbuttoned his shirt to let it reveal her breasts, pulled her panties down a bit with her thumb and smiled into the camera.
She only had to take six or seven pictures before she had one she was satisfied with. Sending it over and promptly deleting them from her phone, she waited for it to arrive.
She knew when he got it, because he said, “Fucking hell, Mabel,” with a groan, and she could almost picture him stroking himself.
She’d only seen him do that a handful of times, when they’d gotten the chance to do this on the rare occasion she was at their parents’ for the night. She could have watched it for hours.
“You’re so perfect,” he sighed in her ear, and if she closed her eyes, she could almost imagine he was there with her. He’d kiss her neck, maybe, and then squeeze her breasts and pinch her nipples. Mimicking the things he was doing to her in her mind’s eye, she trailed a hand down her body and stroked herself lightly through her panties, listening to the way his breath was quickening.
“I wanna see you, too, Dip,” she sighed into the phone.
A few seconds later, a picture came through of him holding himself, and when she saw him naked… well. She had seen him naked more times than she could count by that point, but it was always breathtaking each time.
“Are you wet for me, Mabes?” he murmured in her ear.
She nodded, pulling her drenched panties off and kicking them to the side, before remembering he couldn’t see her. “Yes.”
“Show me.”
She took another picture, this time of a part of herself she didn’t really understand why he wanted to see, but he liked it so she sent it to him anyway.
“I wish I had gotten to taste you,” he gasped. “I think about that a lot.”
“O- oh?” How embarrassing. She knew she was blushing. She could feel it.
“Are you blushing right now?” Dipper asked. “I bet you are. You’re so cute when you blush.” She giggled a little, and he went on. “Will you touch yourself for me?”
“Mhm.” She brushed her fingers over her slit, dipping one inside slightly, just for a second, and gasping as she did so.
“Pinch your nipples, too, okay? I know you like that.” He did know, didn’t he? He knew all the things she liked. He seemed to know them intuitively. To be fair, though, he’d said she knew all the things he liked, too.
Pinching her nipple and brushing a finger lightly over her clit, Mabel whimpered.
“Does that feel good?”
“Y- yes,” she gasped out.
“I wish… mmmf,” he cut himself off with a groan. “I wish this was your hand instead of mine.”
Mabel squeezed her breast roughly, rubbing a finger back and forth over her clit.
“Me too,” she whined. “God, Dip, I want… I want you inside me so bad, I-“
“I know, Mabes. I know. I’d give anything to be inside you right now.”
She rubbed herself a little faster, and her legs were going to give out, she could tell they were, so she allowed herself to collapse onto the cold of the hardwood floor.
“You okay?” Dipper asked when he heard her fall to the ground, concern evident in his voice.
“Yeah, I just had to… ah!” she gasped. “I had to sit down.”
“Oh, okay,” he murmured, and it sounded like he went back to stroking himself.
“I need you.” She’d resorted to begging. She always did that when she was getting close.
“I know,” he groaned. “I need you, too.”
“Dipper, I- please, I need…” she rubbed herself faster, and her hips lifted off the floor an inch or so.
“I know,” he said again.
“I need you.” She couldn’t stop. It felt too good. “I need it, I want you so bad, please,” she begged. “Please give it to me, please Dip, god, I can’t-“
“Are you gonna cum for me, Mabes?”
“Yes,” she gasped. “Yes, I’m gonna- fuck, I want your cum in me, yes-“ her wrist hurt, but she kept going. She was so close, so fucking close-
“Cum for me, I wanna hear you cum for me.”
“Dipper, ah, oh fuck, Dipper, I’m gonna-“ her body spasmed, and she fell limp.
A few seconds later, he followed her with a grunt.
It had felt so good, and Mabel felt so content for a split second, because she’d forgotten that Dipper wasn’t there with her.
The tears started to fall, and she began to sniffle. It usually ended that way. She couldn’t help it.
“Mabel,” he said with a sigh.
“I’m sorry,” she hiccuped.
“No, no,” he assured her. “I just… I wish I could be there with you.”
“I don’t care where we are as long as we’re together,” she cried softly.
“I know,” he sighed again. “But we’ll be together soon, okay? I’ve got an idea.”
“An idea?” What kind of idea, she wondered.
“Yeah, but it’s a surprise, so until I’ve got everything worked out, just be patient for me, okay?”
“Okay,” she sniffed.
“I love you,” he told her softly.
“I love you, too.”
After a few seconds, he said, “and on that note, I need to clean this jizz off my stomach before it drips all over my bed.”
She giggled. “Okay, I’ll talk to you later.”
“You’ll text me tomorrow, right?”
“Uh, doi, when don’t I?” She sniffed again. It was hard to force the silliness that usually felt natural when she felt so blargh.
“Good point,” he chuckled. “Night, then. Love you,” he said again.
“Love you, too.”
After they hung up, it took several minutes for Mabel’s body to stop tingling from her orgasm, and then several more minutes before she could stop the tears and go back to bed.
Being without him was tougher than she’d imagined.

Never Enough - Chapter 17
CHAPTER: 17

NOTES/WARNINGS: BIG TRIGGER WARNING -- mentions of infanticide and euthanasia, so please be careful before reading this chapter. Please let me know what you think!

Everything was dark. I couldn’t move or breathe; I felt like floating. I was in a timeless void, and I couldn’t get out.
Until I heard shouting.
Suddenly, my eyes popped open. I had to shut them again as the light violently shone on me. Not being able to escape from the light so easily, I raised my hand to cover the harsh fluorescent bulb above me.
“Dana, you’re awake!” I heard Tony. His voice was strained with exhaustion and worry. I peeped an eye open very slowly to see the dark shadows under his eyes. “Thank God, kid.”
A hand gently grabbed my other arm, giving it a squeeze. Thor was smiling at me, his eyes bright with joy and relief, but there was something else in them. I could only faintly see the desperation beneath them.
“What happened?” I croaked.
Nat handed me a glass full of water, which I accepted gratefully. Steve recalled to me last night’s events with Lorelei. Apparently, she had done no real damage to me, fortunately missing all the big arteries. She had escaped, of course, but Loki was currently in pursuit.
“He left only after he knew you were okay,” Thor whispered to me. My heart felt lighter at that, but it didn’t drown out my worry over him. Why was he so adamant on killing this woman? Yes, she was evil, but there were plenty of evil people in this universe.
“Clint and Bruce are trying to track her down as well, but so far, nothing.” Nat refilled my glass, anticipating my needs expertly.
“And if they find her?” I asked.
Tony’s eyes were hard as he looked at a spot in the wall. “Then we destroy her.”
I spent the night under Tony and Thor’s watchful eyes. Nat and Steve would come in every now and then with food and water. However, the one person I really wanted here wasn’t around. My thoughts kept flipping to him and stressing over if he was okay or if he had found her.
I detailed hundreds of possibilities and scenarios of Loki finding Lorelei, that by the time he came back, I was so wound up with anxiety that I almost shot out of bed to hug him. Only Tony’s presence stopped that.
“What have you found?” Thor stood up to speak to Loki quietly, but the whole room was silent enough to where I could still hear them.
Loki shook his head. “Barely anything,” he hissed. “I do think I know where she’s headed, though.”
“Where?”
“She came to us,” Loki’s eyebrows were drawn together as he focused, “she’ll come to us again then. She needs something we have.”
Thor took a step forward. “And that is?”
“I should head to bed, kiddo,” Tony interrupted. He stretched in his chair before getting up and patting Thor on the back on his way out.
Loki’s eyes were drawn to me, and I instinctively wrapped my arms around myself. Thor noticed this subtle exchanging of looks and let himself outside. Loki slowly crossed the room to my bed and sat down on the chair Tony had vacated.
“I’m sorry I left you,” he whispered, his eyes turned downward in shame. “I just thought I might find her if I searched sooner.”
I shook my head. “It’s okay, I understand.” I put my hand over his without thinking, purely to calm him. His hand relaxed under my touch and brought his fingers through mine.
“She could’ve done much worse to you.” His hand suddenly bunched into a fist, and I could tell he was about to go into a blind rage.
I grabbed his hand again and placed it on my lap. “But she didn’t,” I pointed out.
He gave me a very weak smile before kissing the hand that held his. “I am immensely glad to see you okay, my little one.”
His face also looked taught and tired. I could tell he hadn’t slept either, nor did he plan to.
Dawn was coming through a bit a few hours later when Nat showed up with breakfast. Loki and I had separated ourselves, and he was seated across the room. She looked at him suspiciously but let it drop.
“You holding up alright?” she asked, a little smile showing on her face.
“So far.”
She handed me more toast, but I refused. “Dana, you need to eat more and gain your strength before we go kick the shit out of that witch,” she teased. I giggled at her joke, but I saw Loki stiffen immediately.
His hands clawed into his thighs as he tried to hold himself back. Something was up, and I needed to find out.
Once Nat left to go help Clint, I took the opportunity. “Why do you hate her so much?” I blurted.
Loki seemed startled at this outburst, but he swallowed and unclenched his hands. He came back to sit by me and tried to smile. “It’s nothing important,” he said quietly. Too quietly.
“Yes, it is,” I demanded. “Thor told me, okay? He told me you and her were engaged.”
Loki changed. His face went pale white, and it looked like a battle just went off in his head. “Aye, we were,” he muttered.
He didn’t say more only looking elsewhere for help. His eyes were scared and furious, his Adam’s apple bobbed up and down as he tried to swallow his words.
“Loki, please tell me!”
He stood up, startling me. “It is of no concern,” he shouted, glaring at me.
I shrank back in my covers at his fury. I had never seen him so angry, not even when he sent the Destroyer.
He realized his affect on me and softened his eyes. Running his hand down his face to clear his head, he apologized. “I’m sorry, little one, it’s just…”
“Just what?” I encouraged. To no avail. He sat down again and remained silent.
I couldn’t stand it anymore, the secrets, any of it. So, I kept prodding. “Thor said she killed a noble.” Loki’s face grew dark. “Did you know the person?”
He turned away from me for a long time, contemplating what to say next. When he finally turned around, his cheeks were wet with tears, and I knew he couldn’t hold back anymore.
“Aye, I did,” he whispered. I felt his hand reaching for mine and gave it without a word. “Lorelei and I were engaged, but she turned to darker magic.”
I had already known this part but listened intensely to him describe their early relationship. They both had felt like outsiders and seidr brought them together. Frigga had even treated her like a daughter.
It was only common sense for them to have been together intimately.
But suddenly, she changed.
“She read a book, in the hidden depths of the library where no one ventured to,” he explained. “I had been there some times myself, but she had found a book on dark magic. Frigga had forbidden me to read it, and I respected her enough to listen. But Lorelei, she fell to it.”
She had become mean and agitated at the tiniest of things. She snapped at Loki more than once a day on inconsequential matters, and he had tried to reason with her.
“Nothing helped. Soon she started harming people. She would break a leg or drive a woman crazy, things that were too evil to be just simple pranks.
“She tried to pull me into it, and a little bit of it connected with me then. Of course, more of it would help me, well doom me, later.”
He paused, rubbing his left hand with his right—a nervous tick he had since he was a boy. “She got pregnant,” he breathed. I almost shot out of my bed, my heart had kicked so wildly. I couldn’t believe this, in fact, I wouldn’t!
“At this point she was downright cruel, but she chose to keep the child saying that her child would be as powerful as she, and we would rule as a family. I don’t know what she meant by that, maybe taking the throne of Asgard.
“Well, the pregnancy had complications, and the baby, my beautiful daughter, was born early and with severe disabilities. The healers assured us she would be fine, though.”
His eyes welled up once again as he relayed this part. “I told Lorelei, I kept telling her I would care for her and our daughter no matter what. I would always have them wanting for nothing.”
He took a break, clearing his eyes of tears. I gently ran my fingers over his cheek. “What was her name?”
He smiled faintly. “Her name was Sigyn,” he laughed. “Legends told of her as my beloved, but in the wrong way. She was my beloved, my gorgeous daughter.”
“Lorelei was not happy, though,” his whole body shook with this. “She was outraged that a baby of hers would be born not as powerful as she. But when I left one night to grab her food and more blankets, she…”
He didn’t need to finish. His fists were clenching the side of my bed as tried to regain himself, but it could not be done. He had let himself be shown to me, and his body wouldn’t stop now that the words were out.
My heart broke for him. I wanted to ease his pain, wipe his tears, do SOMETHING. But I could do nothing. A part of himself was ripped from him.
“Frigga and Odin kept it between ourselves,” he sobbed. “We never told Thor or anyone else. We locked her away in the darkest corner on Asgard and kept her there for hundreds of years.”
I then understood his desire to hunt her down. She had taken away a precious piece of him for no reason at all. “So, your threat to her about dying alone, it’s because…”
“It’s because she had our baby die alone. Now she will come to feel that by my hand.”

OMG YOUR REQUEST ARE OPEN YEAAH, can i request possessive nsfw with freddy (and if not too much, inkubus and buckman) x fem s/o with a soulmate au? I LOVE YOUR BLOG SO MUCH YOUR WRITINGS ARE SO AWESOME💞💞 and sorry for my bad english
Of course, you can, honey! And don’t you ever apologize for how you’re speaking. You’re learning, and that’s all that matters! But if it helps, you’re doing a great job, honey! Since there are many Soulmate AUs that I’ve seen, I’ve just chosen one if that’s alright! ♡ I’ll probably be making a separate part for the possessive part of this ask since I was mainly trying to get down the AU aspect, so I apologize!
Freddy• Whenever you had slept, your dreams went wild, and sometimes you would catch glimpses of the thing that stalked you. It was hard for you to see what was chasing you since you had only seen small movements from the corner of your eye, but you never saw a face.
• It got worse and worse as the days progressed, and your friends noticed the change in your face. The black circles under your eyes were getting more and more difficult to hide. “You’re never gonna find your soulmate if you’re always sleeping,” your friend would say, but little did they know that you hadn’t slept in weeks.
• You thought about that as looked at the bleak black and white world, no colors filling your eyes like it did with others. You envied your mom and dad; they had found one another and your dad had brought color to your mom’s world when she needed it the most. But now, all you wanted was a decent nights sleep. The whole ‘soulmate’ thing everyone went on about was always so cliche and obnoxious, you just wanted sleep.
• The fear welled in your throat as you ran from your unknown assailant, the dark and steamy halls caused your footsteps to echo around you, and all you could do was pray to find a way out. You’ve run out of options as you backed into a corner, and that’s when you heard the heavy footfalls approaching.
• Your eyes were squeezed shut as they approached, bot wanting to look your death in the eye. Your heart sped up as you could sense them hovering over you, and that’s when you heard the clinking of metal too close for comfort.
• The snap of metal caused you to open your eyes and look up into the face of your demise, but suddenly there was an explosion of color. You weren’t entirely sure how to react at this moment, but you sat against the wall and stared up into your soulmate’s eyes with the most horrified and amazed expression.
• The contrasting colors of his sweater hurt your eyes, his melted skin had so many different shades of colors that your brain couldn’t even explain it all to you. But the most horrifying thing was that your soulmate was about to murder you.
Inkubus • A creature like Inkubus had needed to be reborn every hundred years or so, and his time was coming soon. He had ended up in a large city and claimed many innocent lives, toyed with them like a cat would to a mouse. He enjoyed what he did, and he had usually gotten away with it.
• He had chosen you as his next target without even having to be close to you; he could smell your incredible scent from miles away. You had innocently been having a cup of tea at the local cafe when you had an odd gut feeling all of a sudden. You adjusted your hair and pushed it away from your face as you read your book, the black words not really standing out from the greyed page.
• Your world was void of color and you had just wanted to see the beauty of flowers for the first time in your life. Maybe your soulmate would be holding a bouquet for some reason, and upon seeing them with the bursts of color would brighten your day. You sat there and thought about whoever it could be when you had gotten a call from your mother, asking you to pick up some things for her before your visit today. You agreed with a heavy sigh.
• The demon was keeping close tabs on you as you had begun to drive off from the cafe and could easily keep up with you as he followed, his thoughts solely trained on you, making sure not to lose your scent or he’d have to start all over again. When you had reached the long driveway of the house, that’s when he tried to strike.
• It was as if he appeared out of thin air as he pushed you against the car door, his hand immediately covering your mouth to repress your screams. You tried to get a good sense of what was going on as your body jumped from the shock, but your eyes met his and that’s when you felt your entire body surge with a jolt of electricity.
• Your world was no longer the shades of black and grey, it had expanded to the extraordinary colors you had dreamed of seeing for so long. Inkubus was suspicious of your lack of fighting as you just slumped against your car, so he removed his hand from your face and questioned you.
• “Do you not fear what’s about to happen to you, mortal?” he teased as he glared down at you. When you had suddenly raised your hand, that was when he figured you would try to escape, and he awaited a good struggle, but your hand had gently rested against his face, causing him to pull back.
• You were both too confused to even consider speaking just yet, but you knew that this man who had just come from nowhere had appeared to you as if fate intervened. You swallowed the lump in your throat and offered a crooked grin. “H-Hi, my name is Y/N…” That’s all you could say, but something about you tickled his curiosity, so maybe he wouldn’t end your life just yet.
Mayor Buckman • How could you hide such a discovery from your entire group of friends and get away with it? How was it that some old school Southern mayor turned out to be the one to bring color to your life - literally. You and your friends were staying in town just long enough to enjoy their annual Jubilee celebration, so all you had to do was hide it until then.
• When he had personally came to the quarters you and your friends were staying to invite you to dinner, you kept your head bowed the entire time while holding your breath. You wanted to face this and tell him everything, but you had only met the man and knew nothing about him, only that he was very proper, which you had usually been quite the opposite sometimes. You were a free spirit.
• Buckman had found himself staring at you as he watched your interact with the townsfolk or talk to your friends; he was rather curious and dare he say, a bit infatuated. The way you presented yourself was reserved and yet had an undertone of dark humor, you were almost irresistible as there was an invisible pull.
• You had dressed a bit more nicely since you were having dinner with the mayor and a few of his chosen circle, but you continued to keep your head bowed when in his presence. He noticed but said nothing as your friends all laughed and conversed with Granny Boone and the mayor. You almost slipped up a few times in your own conversation about your newfound sight to color when your friend commented on your dress, your cheeks reddening like crazy.
• After dinner, you had slipped out quietly to get some uninterrupted fresh air, but you were spooked when someone had stepped up behind you and cleared their throat. The mayor stood there with a small smirk playing at the corner of his mouth as he bowed to you. “So sorry for the intrusion,” he would say gleefully. “It’s been brought to my attention that you clam up a tad when I’m around, was there something I had done to offend you, Y/N?”
• This was a moment you had wished to avoid altogether, but if he even noticed your awkward behavior, maybe you weren’t playing it as cool as you’d hoped. “No, you haven’t done anything of the sort!” you’d stutter and wave your hands dramatically, trying to find a way to slip away again, but you knew there was no escaping this time. “I just…it’s really hard to explain.” He would just laugh and shrug his shoulders. “Try me.”
• He was relentless and wouldn’t let you leave until you told him, and when it was all over, you covered your face and hid your blush, but he stood tall like he usually did and remained silent for a few moments, taking it all in. Buckman tipped your head upward to face him with his index finger and thumb, his eye staring directly into yours as he wore that playful smirk. “Well butter my biscuits, I think we have an interesting night ahead of us, darlin’.”

Cupid Can’t Fall in Love
Part 1
Summary: (AU) Eternal and true love is a business transaction for you. Soulmates are simply two file folders tied together with a golden bow. But when eight folders come across your desk, your job gets a little bit stickier with each passing day. Being a Cupid isn’t so easy as it sounds...
Pairing: (Jihyun x Reader)
| Part 1 | Part 2: Upcoming
It’d be beautiful. The golden grass, the falling sun, the gentle and warm wind, the serene silence… It would all be so beautiful if he wasn’t staring into your eyes so tearfully. You trace your eyes over his blue hair and follow the line of his jaw, then his neck, over his collar bone and to his heart. Your e/c eyes widen to the size of the moon; a glowing arrow burns frantically in his chest. You harshly draw in a breath and smack your hand over your own arrow, hammering in your heart.
You can’t process the tear trailing down your cheek as you turn your eyes away and up to the scattered clouds in the sky. Why? How did this happen? It’s got to be a mistake…
It’d all be so beautiful… If only you could fall in love.
How… Did it come to this?
Working for Aphrodite isn’t the most exciting employment option. When you were first born, you took a little bit more to your father’s side, preferring to kick ass here and there. But after a run-in with a seething Achille’s, – you told Zeus to just kill the guy but he insisted you talk it out – you got your butt kicked so bad that even Ares himself worried over you. Your mom said your warrior days were over that day. Nobody defies the word of Aphrodite, after all, and that’s why you’re holed up in this stupid office. Battle armor feels much more natural than the pencil skirt and blouse you’re wearing, but this is what you have now; platform heels, scrunchies, paper cuts, and the sound of typing like chinese water torture to your ears. Lucky you, though! You’ve put in your two millennia to get a personal office, away from all the typing and scratching on parchment; its maybe one of your greatest achievements in the past two thousand years since Aphrodite and Ares put you on the bench.
This tiny little office is your hell a little bit away from hell, you like to say. You still have mental break downs and panic attack under your desk, and you’ve forgotten what wood your desk is made out of; but at least you get some damn silence. Except for the obnoxious banging on your door that’s happening right now. Is it eight already? The dread of a thousand punished souls in the underworld escapes from your lips in a groan; you barely even filed the cases you finished yesterday. Nevertheless, you roll in your rock hard chair – Hera was kind enough to make you a small cushion, even if it looks like a grandma’s afgan turned cushion, you and your butt love it – to swing your door open at a dangerous speed.
The young blonde before you smiles and points towards the soft close door.
“Isn’t it great Ares installed those personally for you?” Her raspy voice sputters to you quickly. Her scrawny finger then points to the coffee mug in your hand, “Hey, is that coffee.”
“Yeah, what el-“ Your hand becomes lighter as she snatches it from you and takes a long swig.
“I haven’t slept in like three days,” She babbles to you as she puts the coffee back into your hand and turns to the cart littered with folders, “Finals are next week and I haven’t studied all semester.” You’ve grown used to the incessant mumbling that Angelia lets loose every morning while handing in your cases… She’s like this every week, even without finals. “Becoming a god sure isn’t easy work!” She loudly laughs before continuing on about offerings and the rules of appearing to humans.
“You know, Angelia, if you didn’t spend all of your time programming social media sites for humans, you’d be able to get your work done.”
“How else is a messenger god supposed to stay relevant? Dad already does all the messaging between gods, so there’s no work for a dumb college god like me.”
“You’re in college… That’s your job right now.” Your lidded eyes meet hers as she blows a loose strand of curly hair from her face and drops two folders onto your lap.
“Yeah but I’ll disappear if I loose followers.”
“No. You won’t. You’re a god born of two gods, not a god born of need. There’s a clear difference. We survive whether or not humans worship us individually. Plus there’s other jobs for gods to do other than meddling and fucking around.”
“Yeah but I wanna be a messenger god!” She whines as she drops four more folders onto your lap. “Only eight new assignments today. Lucky you.”
“L… Lucky me?” You screech at her. “I already have two hundred and eighty- eight active cases!” She surrenders her hands and pursues her lips at you.
“I don’t decide who gets what cases.”
“Yeah but you could also maybe throw in a word to Aphrodite and be like, ‘Yeah, boss, don’t you think MC already has enough assignments right now?’ You know, maybe stick your neck out for a friend once in a while?” Angelia continues to stack cases on your lap, unphased by the explosive temper you let loose every morning, and you keep on crying up to her, “Are you listening to me Angelia? I’m drowning in stress right now! If I were a nymph I would’ve shriveled up and died three hundred years ago.” With your pouting expression and whiney voice, you can be compared to a kid whose mom put her favorite cereal back on the shelf.
“But you’re not a nymph. Yay! You won’t shrivel up and die.”
“But if I were a nymph I would have. Doesn’t that concern you? I could die!”
“Gods don’t die.”
“Yes we do!” You snap up to her grinning face, “And the leading cause is stress!” The over caffeinated girl isn’t moved by your whining, so you switch to a bargaining strategy quickly.
“Okay, hear me out,” You begin with a lowered voice, “Maybe if you just slip these onto someone else’s desk, and then pretend that you didn’t notice when Aphrodite asks you “What the hell?” By then that Cupid would have already started the assignment so there’d be no point in bothering me to do it.” Angelia drops the last heavy file folder on your lap and shakes her head. You blink as the weight of your coffee is lifted from your hand again.
“No can do, my friend.” She begins as she sips loudly from your coffee mug, before her face scrunches, “Too much creamer.” Angelia puts the mug back in your hand, all the while you watch her with eyes the size of the moon; is she serious right now? Of course you know there’s too much creamer in there; you just had a late morning so for all you care she can take her scrutiny and shove it. “Anyways, Aphrodite and Eros both said - very strictly, I might add - that these files are meant for your hands only. Anyways, I’m only part time, here. That all is way above my pay grade.”
“Angelia,” You suck in a heavy breath through your nose to try and curb your frustrations with the shrugging girl before you say, “You suck.” At that, she laughs heartily. She giggles her good-bye to you over the sound of her clicking heels as she moves to give the next guy his shackles for the day. “Hey!” She turns over her shoulder to acknowledge your head poking out of your office, “You tell Aphrodite that if I get any more cases this week I’m going to go ahead and fall in love, ya hear?”
“Yeah, right. Someone like you, fall in love?” She snorts, “Not even Eros would take that assignment.” You lift your lip, eyebrows pinching together, and shout back to her:
“Go bother someone else… I’m gonna be here all night because of you.” She waves and smiles pleasantly, which you return half-heartedly. The door shuts gently, and you groan back over to your desk.
Eight files don’t sound like much to the human ear, but these files hold every single aspect of the subject’s life, so it looks like the holy bible. It’s not that you mind the read all that much – it’s like a nice little short story – but it’s the paperwork and scheming that you hate with every fiber of your explosive being. You look to the mirror hanging on your wall after glancing through one of the files – these were all a little bit bigger than the normal case – and decide to put your work order in for their vial’s early; it’s going to take a while to gather their life essence. You grab a drachma and turn it about in your hand as you scribble the eight names onto separate blue ribbons.
“Ánoixe.” You cough, watching the solid mirrors surface begin rippling like water after a stone is thrown into it. “Eudorus.” The rippling increases before orange begins to reflect in the mirror; it slowly stops to reveal the freckled and smiling face of your good buddy. “How are you this fine morning?”
“Don’t play coy with me, MC. I know you’re only here to give me more work.” Your lips snap shut before you laugh lightly.
“I’m sorry. I usually wouldn’t bother you about it until tomorrow but… I just got eight new assignments and they’re really big files. I thought I’d give you a head start on getting their essence for me.”
“Eight!” He cries at you, his freckled cheeks becoming red and eyes watering. “You’re already drowning in work already!” He purses his lips and puffs his cheeks as he mumbles under his breath, “Mom really has to stop giving you so much work. You’ll keel over soon because of lack of sleep.”
“Can you do this for me? I’ll buy you dinner tonight?” He smiles at you.
“I’d do it even if you didn’t offer food, but since you did you can’t take it back now. Give me the ribbons and I’ll give ‘em to you at dinner.” You push your hand through the mirror, flinching as the humid air of his workplace gathers to your hand.
“How do you even breathe in there Eudorus? It’s so humid.”
“You get used to it after a little.” He stops as he eyes you, his lips parted and brows slack in what you can only dreadfully identify as one thing; concern. “Are you getting enough sleep, MC?”
“With all these cases on my desk, I can’t afford sleep.”
“We might be gods and all, but we need our sleep just like the humans.” You grin as you roll your eyes playfully.
“You’re starting to sound like Apollo.”
“If he sees you like this MC he’s going to tear you a new one about taking care of yourself, and you know he’s going to crack down on your eating habits! You’re worse than Hades sometimes…”
“I know, I know… I’ll just avoid him at all costs.” Your half-brother grins at you before he waves the ribbons held lightly in his smooth hands.
“I better get to work on theses. And you better to, if you want to cut down on those piles on your desk.”
“You’re right. Have a good one, Eudorus.”
“Yeah, you too.” You watch as your red-headed brother disappears, and the mirror hardens again. Staring at your reflection, you realize you really do look like you’re on your deathbed. Your skin is a shade or two lighter from its usual hue, hair messily tossed into a bun, your bags much more prominent, and lips pulled down in a frown much more than usual. You look away quickly, recalling Angelia’s words from earlier…
“Yeah, right! Someone like you, fall in love?” You stare critically at the stack of finished reports you need to put in their rightful files; you will never have one of these for yourself… It’s strictly off limits for you as a Cupid. If you fall in love, you lose your job. Sometimes it makes you mad, other times sad, and some rare times, you’re glad.
Filing cases is the easy part of your job; all the hard work’s done, now all that’s left is topping off the paired folders with golden ribbons and filing them into your large bookshelf for review and approval by Eros. Eros, that sleaze. It’s been at least a millennium since you went through the trouble of pairing him with Psyche and he still has the nerve to waltz into your office and flirt with you shamelessly. Plus, he gets to keep his job despite being head over heels for his wife; who cares if he’s a primordial? He should be held to the same standards as everyone else!
That’s not what matters at the moment though, you guess. Getting these cases off of your desk is the priority! You managed to close thirty cases last night, so you just need to focus on getting them all patched up nicely. You glance to the new files on your desk; once this is done you can stick your nose into the new assignments.
“Is this a joke, mom?” Saying you sounded as loud as Zeus when he and Hades butted heads would almost do a disservice to your anger. You are livid, fuming, downright insane with rage. Her beautiful violet eyes snap up to your own as she gracefully pushes her blonde hair from her face and folds her hands in front of her.
“Is what a joke, MC?” Most of the time, her voice would’ve calmed you down to the point of rational thought, but not today. You’re ready to body slam her into Tartarus. You wave the files frantically in front of you and drop them onto her desk, eyes on fire and steam running out of your ears. You’re an Ares level threat right now.
“What the hell are these assignments?” You screech. Opening the top folder you drop the picture of the blonde on her neat, tidy desk. “Yoosung Kim, 21, college student. He’s fucked up right now, mom. He recently lost his cousin, who, might I add, is also one of these files. How the fuck am I supposed to make a dead woman fall in love? And how the hell am I supposed to make someone like Yoosung fall in love while he is like this?” She opens her mouth to respond but you slap another picture in front of her. “Jumin Han, 26, an executive who doesn’t know the half of relationships and trusting another person. I can’t work with this yet! And don’t you even get me started on Saeran and Saeyong, have you even looked through these files? And Jihyun? What the fuck is going on with this guy?” You feel a large hand plop down on your shoulder. A growl nearly comes from you as you look up to your father, his yellow eyes telling you to try and calm down. “Well when the hell did you get here?”
“I was here the whole time MC. You just marched in, ready for the kill.”
“Well if she wouldn’t hand me such bullshit cases on top of all my other cases I wouldn’t feel like murdering everyone on this damn mountain!” Ares chuckles as he shakes his head in amusement.
“You sure are my daughter, but you’re almost worse than me. What have I always told you, little soldier?” Your mouth draws into a thin line, before you mumble your response so lowly that no one could understand you. “No matter how hard it gets, it is your duty, and so you shall finish it.”
“It could also be Eros’ duty. Or Agata! She only has like, ten assignments right now.”
“Yes, my dear. But Agata is also very new to working as a Cupid.”
“She’s been in the department for two hundred years!”
“These cases require experience and power greater than that of a two hundred-year-old nymph.” You draw your lips into a thin line and eye your mother critically. What the hell does she expect you to do with this? You’re originally a war goddess. You were meant to fight, not shoot people with metaphorical arrows and make sure they fall head over heels with each other!
“This is the life you have now, MC.” Ares begins, for like, the millionth time this month. You grind your teeth and step away from him. You know that you have to content yourself with working in a quiet office, watching others fall in love, constantly typing on a computer, wearing these stupid pencil skirts and bows…
“But I hate wearing these damn heels!” Is all you can screech, childishly. Aphrodite giggles as she stands and walks to you.
“But they make you look so beautiful.” You send a harsh glare up to her; of course, she doesn’t even flinch cause your glares are as harmless to her as a feather is to a rock. “I trust you to handle these assignments better than anyone working here… Even myself. I wouldn’t have given them to you otherwise.”
“How do you suggest I start these, then?”
“Drink their essence and see what they need.”
“I’m not a damned therapist.”
“Hear, hear!” Ares uselessly calls as he resumes his seat on the couch. He shrinks a little when Aphrodite sends him a harsh, menacing glare; if there’s one thing all the gods have learned, it’s that Aphrodite – and possibly Persephone – are the scariest when they get mad.
“Yes, but you will know where to go. I can assure you.” You puff out your cheeks and cross your arms.
“Fine, but you owe me three weeks of vacation since I can’t go next week anymore!” You hiss as you take the files she’d gathered in her hands before you even simmered down – it’s like she knew she’d win you over – and stomp to the door. “I had tickets to the premier of the new marvel movie! Do you know how expensive those are?” You cry, ready to slam the door shut, but giving your mom one more, half-hearted stare.
“You’re a goddess, sweetheart. You have an endless supply of money.”
“That doesn’t mean I want to waste it!” And you move to slam the door shut, but it slows just at the end. You swear your eyeballs set on fire as you realize that your father installed yet another soft close door because of you.
What’s your plan? Dive in head-first and get blind-sided at every corner like Zeus? No way, just thinking about that has you ready to start another war. You need a plan, a good plan, and as much information as you can get. Meaning you’re going to have to work with their guardians. Pompous, inconsiderate, above the law shit heads is what guardians are. In your millenniums, you’ve avoided most, if not all, contact with them. You don’t work well with big heads; they always mess things up because they’re always right, narrow-sighted, and rash. Add to that the state that these wards are in, you can’t imagine these guardians will be the best help… But you’ve got to take whatever you can get.
And that’s why you’re sitting at a large table of seven guardians, enjoying a measly meal of chicken tenders and fries; ambrosia is too damn expensive these days. But you suppose that as the times have changed, your offerings and followers have fallen to a measly, absolute zero. No worshippers? No ambrosia. It’s a good way to stir up some envy here on Olympus.
“So, what do you need, Cupid?”
“I need to know about your wards.” You sigh as you plant a folder in front of each guardian. You point to the empty chair and raise your brow, “Where’s Mina’s guardian?”
“Uh, she’s out on sick leave.”
“I thought you guys were invincible?”
“Well, after all the times she’s worked, I’m sure she needs a break for a little.” Aeneas snaps at you. You roll your eyes; guardians were specifically designed to do everything but need a break. You’d have to check in with Zeus later to see what the hell is going on with her.
“Okay, whatever.” Continuing, you decide to get straight to the point, “Tell me everything you know about your wards. Why are they in the state they’re in?”
“Some wards are harder to guide than others.” Jac gently speaks. You look to the soft-featured man, nodding your head. You know that… You’ve always treasured Jac as a guardian, he’s one of the few to look at you on equal grounds.
“I know. I’m sorry if it felt like I jabbed at you. Could you all maybe explain to me what you’ve learned does or doesn’t work with these wards?”
“Of course… We’ll do as much as we can to help…”

Never Enough
TITLE: Never Enough CHAPTER NO./ONE SHOT: Chapter 17 AUTHOR: the-devil-herself ORIGINAL IMAGINE: Imagine finding out that your soulmate is Loki and your very first kiss is interrupted by Thor shouting “Yeeessss” RATING: M NOTES/WARNINGS: TRIGGER WARNING: mention of infanticide and euthanasia. PLEASE PLEASE be careful reading this chapter as there is content on the murder of children and the disabled. Read with caution please! Can also be found on Ao3 here.
“Clint and Bruce are trying to track her down as well, but so far, luck.” Nat refilled my glass, anticipating my needs expertly.

Us Against the World
Fandom: Star Wars (Childhood Best Friends AU)
Pairing: Poe Dameron x Reader
Summary: You and Poe have been best friends since preschool. At that young age, Poe made a declaration, a promise. One that he intended on keeping. Based off of this post.
Age 4
You were nervous entering the preschool. When your mom said she’d be leaving you there for a couple of hours, you were scared. You didn’t want to be alone.
“Don’t wanna go,” you said with a whimper as you clung to your mom’s hand.
She knelt down, “Y/N, it’s gonna be okay. You’re gonna have so much fun! You’ll make friends and you’ll forget you’ve been gone for a while.” You still had a scared look on your face. Your mom sighed, “If you’re good, I’ll take you out for ice cream, okay?”
You smiled softly and nodded. She walked you into the classroom and was instantly greeted to a woman about the same age as your mom, “Hi there. I’m Mrs. Organa. And who might you be?”
“Y/N,” you said shyly.
The woman smiled, “Hi, Y/N. Nice to meet you. Do you wanna go play with some toys?” You nodded and hugged your mom good-bye before heading towards the toy chest.
You spotted a big fire truck and grabbed for it, but so did another kid. You looked up to see a boy with tan skin, black curly hair, and brown eyes. He picked up the truck and look at you, “Do you wanna play with me?” As if feeling your apprehension, he smiled, “I’m Poe!”
“I’m Y/N,” you said shyly.
“Wanna play, Y/N?”
“Okay.”
After that, you and Poe could not be separated. You both always got upset when you weren’t in the same groups for play time. You always wanted to lay next to each other for nap time, and you two always shared your snacks.
One day in class, Mrs. Organa asked what everyone wanted to do when they grow up. Poe immediately stood up from his chair, “When I grow up, I’m gonna marry Y/N!” he said proudly. You blushed as all the kids laughed and made noises of disgust. Poe immediately got upset, “It’s not funny! Y/N is my best friend and I wanna be with her forever!”
Age 10
You and Poe sat in the principal’s office waiting for your parents to arrive. You and Poe held each other’s hands as Ms. Tanno looked at both of you disappointedly.
Your dad and Poe’d dad, Kes, walked in frantically, “Is everything okay?”
“What happened?”
“Is anyone hurt?”
Ms. Tanno held up her hand and they all silenced, “The only person who got hurt was Mrs. Organa’s son, Ben Solo.”
“What exactly happened?” Kes asked.
Ms. Tanno gestured to you, “Go ahead, you two.”
You sighed, “Ben was making fun of me. Saying I was ugly and that no one would like me.”
“Then I was defending her and told Ben to buzz off!”
“Then Ben called Poe stupid and knocked him down. Poe looked like he was about to cry and then...”
You looked at Poe’s who’s eyes fell down to his lap and were filled with hurt, “He said ‘What are you gonna do? Cry to your mommy? Oh wait, you don’t have one anymore.” Poe started sniffling and you tightened your hold on his hand.
“So I punched Ben in the face.”
Kes knelt down in front of both of you, “Y/N, I appreciate what you did for Poe, but violence isn’t the answer.”
You looked down in shame, “I know, but after Ben mentioned Aunt Shara, I just..I just couldn’t help it.”
Your dad looked to Ms. Tanno, “So what’s going to happen?”
“Well, since Y/N punched someone, I’ll have to suspend her.”
Poe’s head shot up, “No! Suspend me!”
Ms. Tanno shook her head, “But you didn’t punch Ben, Poe.”
“So? I-It’s my fault that Ben got punched! I interfered! I should get suspended, not Y/N!”
“I’m sorry, Poe. It’s not how that works.”
Poe frowned and crossed his arms over his chest, “Well if Y/N is suspended, then I’m not going to school until she’s back.”
“Poe, stop,” you tried reasoning with him.
He looked at you, “No. Best friends forever, remember? They can’t separate us no matter what.”
Age 16
Poe was anxious. He stood by your locker, waiting for you to get out of math class. He kept muttering to himself, “You can do this. She’s your best friend. You got this, Poe. You got this.” as soon as the bell rang, he tensed. It was now or never.
He stared at his shoes, his old beaten up Converse, waiting for your arrival. He tried not to let his nerves get the best of him. He’s known you for his whole life. He shouldn’t be afraid, he shouldn’t-”Whatcha starin’ at?”
His head slowly raised and his brown eyes met your Y/E/C eyes. He smiled, “Nothin’. So, uh, I have something to tell you.”
“What’s up?” you asked as you switched your math book for your English book. You closed your locker and looked at Poe expectantly.
Poe gave a deep breath, “I like you. A-A lot. L-Like more than a best friend kind of like.”
A smile formed on your face, “Really?”
“Well, uh, yeah. I mean, you’re smart, funny, beautiful, fun. What’s not to like?”
You blushed, “I like you too.”
“R-Really? Like how I like you like me?”
You laughed, “Yeah, Poe.” You leaned over and kissed him on the cheek, “Now let’s get to class, yeah?” you slipped your hand into his.
Poe looked down at your intertwined hands with a big smile on his face, “Yeah. Okay.”
Age 18
You had Poe had graduated high school. Despite it being a joyous occasion, both of you were saddened. Poe had be recruited to the Air Force. Within a week, he’ll be shipped off to training. So you two spent as much time as you could together.
He took you out on dates, he slept over your house, you two went on a day trip out of town, and Poe had gotten you a puppy.
“He’ll keep you company while I’m away. Right, Beebs?” the little corgi-shiba inu mix wagged its tail as Poe pet him, “Oh!” Poe pulled out the necklace he always wore: his mother’s ring hanging from a metal chain, “Keep this safe for me, yeah?”
You gave him a sad smile, “Okay,” you said sheepishly.
“I’ll think of you every single day. I’ll try to write as much as I can. But you have to promise me something, sweetheart.”
“What?”
“Don’t push everyone away. Don’t isolate yourself. This is your summer before you go to college. Don’t waste it crying over me.”
You began to sniffle, trying not to let the tears fall, “I’m gonna miss you so much,” you whimpered.
“I know, baby.” Poe kissed your cheek, “I know.” then he hugged you. He held onto you as long as you needed him to.
Age 21
You were typing away on your computer when you received a Skype call from Poe. You immediately answered it, “Poe?”
The grainy image of him appeared. He waved, “Hello, my love. Whatcha doin’?”
“Working on my novel.”
He nodded, “Ah yes. Our love story.”
“It’s not our love story! It’s Oscar and Angela’s love story!”
“Uh huh, which is based off of our love story, which technically means you’re writing about us. You even used our own descriptions for the characters!”
You looked at him surprised, “You actually read some of it?”
Poe scoffed, “Of course I did, baby! And you’re not subtle at all about the parallels between our story and theirs.”
You chuckled, “There are some differences...”
“Oh yeah, like how Oscar is taller and has more abs? You tryna tell me something, baby?”
You laughed, “No! You’re fine just the way you are.”
“Uh huh. Suuuure.” You both giggled, “Anyway, I got permission to visit next month.”
Your eyes lightened up, “Really?!”
Poe nodded, “Hell yeah! Can’t wait to see you, kiss you, hug you, fu-”
“POE!”
He giggled, “I’m kidding! Maybe...not really. Anyway, let’s see our lil fur baby!”
You called Beebs over to you and lifted him to your camera, “He’s doing well!”
Poe leaned closer to the screen, “He’s gotten fatter!”
“But he always whines when I don’t give him enough food! I feel bad!”
“You’re making our baby fat, Y/N!”
“Okay! I’m sorry! I’ll take him out more to work it off.”
“Yes. Sounds good.”
You sighed, “Well, I better get this chapter finished up. Talk to you later?”
“Of course. Bye, sweetheart. I love you bunches!”
“Bye, babe! I love you bunches more!”
Age 26
You and Poe socialized with your family. It was your dad’s birthday and your mom threw a barbeque for him. You stood next to Poe as you spoke with your neighbor and long-time friend, Rose. Meanwhile, Poe talked to long-time friend and Air Force pal, Finn, while his arm was around your waist.
It felt so good to have Poe back, even for a little bit. As time passed, you’d gotten used to his temporary stays. Despite that, you two had gotten an apartment together. Something that was your own. It was a big step for the both of you, but it was a long time coming. As was this.
“Everyone! May I have your attention please?” Poe called out.
You looked at Poe confusedly, “What’s going on?” Everyone circled around you as Poe pulled you closer to him.
“Y/N, when I was four years old, Mrs. Organa, our preschool teacher, asked us what we wanted to do when he grow up.”
“Oh my God.” you held your hands to your mouth, already knowing what was about to happen.
Poe chuckled, “Don’t get ahead of me here, sweetheart!” He cleared his throat, “My answer to that question was that I wanted to marry you. And this is me keeping my word.” He pulled out a ring and knelt down on one knee, “Y/N L/N, you’re my best friend, my soulmate. In front of our closest friends and family, I’m here declaring my never ending love for you. Will you do me the honors of becoming my wife?”
With teary eyes you nodded, “Yes!”
Poe took your left hand and slid the ring onto your finger. He then gave you a kissed and picked you up, spinning you around as everyone cheered.
Age 30
You were wringing your hands together as you paced back and forth in the hall. Rose, Phasma, Kaydel, Jess, and Rey watched you.
“Why are you nervous? You’re marrying the love of your life?” Rey asked.
“Oh, I’m not nervous about marrying Poe. Fuck yeah I wanna marry him! I just don’t wanna trip down the aisle or stutter my vows. You know how I am with speaking in public.”
Rose shrugged, “Don’t think of it as talking in front of a couple hundred people. Just think of it as talking to Poe. Making your promise to him and declaring your undying love and all that lovey dovey stuff,” Rose said. The other women agreeing with her.
Your dad approached you, “You ready?”
You sighed, “Yup. Let’s do this!”
Meanwhile...
“Oh God. What if I stutter? I don’t wanna sound stupid!” Poe whispered anxiously to Finn, his best man.
Finn shook his head, “Man, calm down. Whether you stutter or not, Y/N will still love you.”
The doors to the venue opened and in walked the flower girl, ring bearer, and bridesmaids. They all joined Poe and Finn at the end of the aisle. Then the wedding march began to play and everyone stood. Poe gave a deep breath and then turned towards you. He was floored.
You looked absolutely stunning in your wedding dress. You looked angelic even! You joined Poe at the end of the aisle. You chuckled as he wiped his eyes.
“Sorry, you’re just so beautiful.”
“Thank you and you look even more handsome.” you nodded to his formal Air Force uniform. You loved when he was in uniform.
Poe chuckled, “Thanks, babe. So, together forever?” he asked, intertwining your fingers with his.
You smiled at him, “Together forever.”
“Us against the world, baby.” he whispered as he faced the officiant.

Adventures of Bree & Alex: Part 10
“So, umm, should we get a room for the evening?” Claire stuttered. He was her husband, her soulmate, but for some reason, she was nervous.
“I have a place, but, I reckon yer not going to want to leave the bairns here alone,” Jamie said shyly, giving that half-grin that made Claire weak at the knees.
“You’re right,” Claire smiled back. She could feel the blush on her cheeks radiating with her pounding heart.
“Aye. I’ll take care of it,” Jamie took a step to away to make the arrangements, but quickly turned back around. “Would ye come with me? I ken it’s ridiculous, but I’m afraid if I turn around, ye’ll disappear on me.”
“Of course,” she said, following him to the innkeeper.
-----
They got the last room left at the inn to Claire’s relief, but the walk to the room quickly washed away any ease she was feeling and replaced it with anxiousness.
Why on earth should she be nervous? He was her husband for Christ’s sake. They’d seen each other naked dozens, even hundreds of times. But here she was, feeling more nervous than she did before her first time. And just because they were heading to their room didn’t mean anything was going to happen. It had been 20 years since they’d seen each other. Maybe, maybe he didn’t want her like that anymore.
When they reached the doorway, she gave a brief glance over her shoulder to make sure he was still there. Sure enough, he was, and the paleness of his face and twitch of his eyebrow showed that he too was nervous.
Claire turned the key in the lock, and upon feeling the hinge pop, pushed the door open.
The room was small, but not the smallest room they had ever stayed in. There would be no escaping each other in here though. Claire walked over to the small table and took a seat on one of the chairs. She hadn’t slept in two days, and the exhaustion was catching up to her.
“Aye Sassenach, ye look like yer about to pass out,” Jamie said worriedly.
“It’s been a long few days, is all. So...I don’t really know what to say actually,” she said embarrassingly.
Jamie sat down on the end of the bed, leaning on his knees. “Aye. I’ve waited what feels like a hundred lifetimes to see ye again, and now that yer here, I don’t ken what to say.”
“I suppose we could start with a normal conversation, as if we were two old friends catching up,” Claire suggested.
“Alright. How have ye been Claire?”
Claire couldn’t help but laugh slightly, and Jamie joined in at the ridiculousness of it all.
“I’ve been well. Obviously, you’ve met our children. They are the best things that have ever happened to me. We live in Boston, it’s a city in the states. I’m a surgeon there.”
“A surgeon? I thought ye already were one,” he said with shrug of his shoulders.
“I didn’t have the title before, but I went back to school, and now I’m one of the best in the area. It’s been a ray of sunlight in what has felt like a very long, cloudy few years. With the children gone at school, I spend most of my time at the hospital.”
“And, Frank. He doesn’t mind ye not being home?” Jamie asked rather tensely. He was trying to stay calm about it, but he didn’t look at Claire when he asked the question.
“Frank and I live separate lives. We have for a very long time,” was all Claire could manage. She was still utterly furious with Frank, and could barely stand to speak his name. But she knew that this wasn’t the time to talk about Frank. Jamie was and always would be at the center of her mind. “Tell me about you. What is your life like?”
“Well, I reckon ye ken that I own the printing shop here. That’s where the bairns found me. I spent a fair amount of time in prison after Culloden. And, well it’s been one heck of a journey to get to here,” he said, not sure on how much to share.
“And Jenny and Ian? How are they?”
“Aye they’re well. Still at Lallybroch with more children and grandchildren than when ye last saw them,” he said happily.
“It has been quite a while since I’ve seen them, hasn’t it?” Claire said with a smile, but hints of sadness seeped into her voice. “When I found out you survived Culloden, I, all I felt was heartbreak. All that time we could have been together, the four of us” Claire managed before the tears started to spill from her eyelids.
Jamie stood up and strode over to Claire, kneeling down so he could look her directly in the eyes. He grasped her face in his hands, bringing her eyes to his.
“Ye’ve nothing to cry over. Yer here now. Ye’ve given me something I never thought I’d have, and that’s the chance to meet the children, to look in your eyes again. To touch you,” his voice trailed off as his eyes glanced down at her lips.
Claire’s heart began to race again, but this time it was with anticipation. But she couldn’t wait. She had waited long enough. She threw herself out of the chair, wrapping her arms around his neck, tackling them to the ground.
Jamie hit the ground hard taking the majority of the fall, but it didn’t matter to him. Their lips came together with a passion that Claire was sure she could have felt in the 20th Century. Their tongues moved in harmony, and their hands grabbed at each other, never getting enough of what they so needed and desired.

Sound Of A Heartbreak Pt.01
Pairing: soulmate!Jimin x Reader (1st POV)
Genre: Angst
Summary: It hurt when he loved someone else. It hurt when his girlfriend wanted to separate him from you. But it was even more heartbreaking when you found out he was your other half.
Park Jimin was a real angel in disguise. The boy whom everybody loved, whom my mom praised everytime she saw him. He was the guy who could make even the saddest person in the planet laugh, his existence itself was calming. His laugh was equal to the ringing bells, his warm embrace could cure diseases. He was my everything and there was no other person whom I could call you like this.
This boy came to my life, when I needed someone the most. I was the outcast in middle school, whom everyone avoided as much as they could without taking a look. I felt horrible in those years - I wasn’t rich, I wasn’t pretty, I wasn’t anything. I had pretty good grades though but my grades had never cheered me up.
I was a loner, I sat at the back of the noisy, crowded classroom, all alone. Even if I had seatmates, they only used me for my brain, then made fun of me behind my back, telling jokes about me to their friends.
People say we can feel the change when it comes. On the first day of my last year in that school I heard loud whispers around me.
“Ah, new classmate?”
“Is it a boy or a girl?”
“Why did someone transfer to this school for the last year?”
I didn’t pay any attention to them as per usual. I didn’t expect anything from the new student, I learned how to deal with the loneliness but I secretly prayed for the divine powers to give me someone who wouldn’t look down on me like the others did. At least not that much.
I didn’t look up but I knew someone came in, judging by the changed atmospehere. The whole classroom went silent.
I heard our teacher’s voice. “You must be the new student. Would you be so kind as to introduce yourself, mister?”
That was when I glanced up to a boy next to our teacher’s desk. He let out a friendly aura, his eyes ressembled to the stars in the sky and he seemed to be pretty excited to be here. Behind his mask, I knew he was nervous as hell but I was sure he would fit in just fine. He was handsome, a real pretty boy, no one would hate him.
“Hello, I’m Park Jimin, please take care of me!” He chirped and flashed a warm smile, he tried to look at everybody from the class, I was the last one whom he looked at but he didn’t stop staring at me.
“Jimin, as a new student would you like to sit in the front or in the middle? I will ask someone to sit behind…”
“Sorry but actually I would like to sit at the back of the classroom. I see there’s an empty seat.” Jimin said and my eyes widened but I could hear the others’ gasps, too. No one had ever wanted to sit next to me. No one.
“Alright, then your seat is next to Miss Y/L/N.” Mr. Lee said, Jimin nodded and started to go to his place. Jimin clearly ignored the utterly surprised faces and he was just smiling. If I had been him, I would have felt awkward but as I saw, he didn’t care about them.
As he sat down, Mr. Lee started talking about the last year’s school events, Park Jimin turned his body to me and gave me a friendly smile once again.
“Hey, seatmate, what’s your name?”
“Y/N.”
“So L/N Y/N, nice to meet you. I hope you will endure me sitting with you.”
And I endured. God finally listened to my pleads, making the new guy, Park Jimin my one and only best friend. Only seeing his eyesmile made my day hundred times better so if he was absent, I felt even more lonelier. I learned a lot about his life - Park Jimin was the only child of his parents, who had battled with his weight years before we met, who became a player of our football team. He was the boy, who had dreams… he dreamt of finding his soulmate, getting a well-paid job, having a pretty big and loving family. I was a constant visitor at the Parks just like he visited our home almost every weekend. My mom almost fainted how handsome and polite he was.
“Y/N, you had better not let him go. He’s amazing.”
I knew I would never have a soulmate but Park Jimin kept telling me I would find that guy one day and he hoped he would like him a bit.
The years passed and we went to the same high school together, on the top of that we went to the same class. We were like the conjoined twins - we were always together. Beside me, Jimin had tons of friends while I didn’t really have anyone. Many girls tried to make a good impression on me to help them setting up with him - in the end they failed and they sent me a death glare. Jimin politely but turned down the girls, I always wanted to ask him but he never said why he was against dating with someone.
Park Jimin was my only remedy. I was strict to myself, he would always come over to cheer me up and he was the only one who could see me crying if I broke down. Somehow I felt we were similar, only he could comfort the way I needed. He usually patted my back and murmured some sweet words to help me relaxing.
“Y/N, you are one of the most amazing human being in this world. You are my best friend, you will always be.”
I was his biggest supporter like he was mine - I was his number one cheerlader, he continued playing in high school, too. His other friends and teammates, Hoseok, Taehyung and Jungkook often teased me or him with the idea of we getting together on a nice day. The both of us denied and shook our heads, the boys then went further it was bad thing we were lying to them.
“You are pretty much dating. You are together 24/7, you know each other’s family, you buy cute presents without a specific occasion. Don’t lie to us.”
As much as I hated to admit, I was deeply in love with him. When did it happen? I couldn’t tell. Park Jimin was by my side when I lost my beloved grandmother and I was by his side when his father left him behind with his mother to be with a younger woman.
We were each other’s painkiller, each other’s psychologist. Although I knew he would never love me back but I was still grateful to him and loved him unconditionally.
Once again, I could feel that a change would come to my life. Jimin was seated in front of me. The teacher made him sit beside a boy, who’s name was Taeyon. I was sitting alone again but at least I had someone to call my friend. My class in high school was better than my previous class, I didn’t feel like outsider at all.
I heard clapping shoes on the floor and I saw a pretty girl, with long hair and long legs. I envied her - she was so beautiful…
Mrs.Kim greeted her and she introduced herself. “Hello class, I’m Yoo Areum, please take care of me!”
“Areum, please sit next to Y/N.” She pointed at me, Areum smiled at me. I had a déjà vu.
“Hello Areum, I am Y/N, I hope you will love to be here.” I said softly.
“I hope so too.”
Areum became my best girl friend. Jimin was happy I could finally find a girl to whom I can open up a bit, not only to him and his goofy friends.
“I’m glad you made a new friend, Y/N.” Jimin said and gave a soft kiss on my forehead. “She seems nice but be careful, she will regret if she ever betrays you.”
“Jimin, you can’t protect me everytime. I need to be my own hero, sometimes.” I giggled with him and stopped me from pinching his cheek.
“Y/N…”
I hoped my face wouldn’t become red, it was hard to keep my original skintone when he was around me. I loved how he said my name, rolling off gently of his tongue.
“Yes, Jimin?”
“I’m happy I have you in my life.” He stated, looking deeply in my eyes.
“I can say the same, Park Jimin.”
Areum was a child of a businessman and a fashion designer. She came from Seoul - but I learned her parents were also divorced, I couldn’t understand how because as she told me, they were soulmates. Every people have soulmates, and they only find it if both of them reached the age of 18. Jimin even in high school couldn’t stop talking about soulmates, he swore he would never act like his father to run away to have fun with someone who wasn’t his. Maybe that was the reason why he was more excited to find his loved one.
Areum also knew all of my secrets, she tried to give me useful tips and some pieces of advice when it came to fashion and beauty trends.
“Oh, you have a crush on Jimin?!” She cooed when I finally told her. She was the only one whom I admitted it.
“Yes, I have.” I replied nervously, playing with my hair.
“Why don’t you tell him? You have known him for so long.”
“He’s my best friend, I don’t want to lose him. I wouldn’t confess him, I’m sure he would reject me.” I let out a long sigh and upon hearing this she wore an unreadable expression on her pretty face.
Jimin and I had lots of sleepovers. Many parents would have freaked out, if their daughter had asked them to let a guy sleep in their house. However, my mom and dad had been way too fond of Jimin, they were more than happy when he slept at our place.
It wasn’t strange to lay on the same bed with him, we even slept on the same bed. I could remember to our first sleepover, Jimin wanted to sleep on the floor but I didn’t want him to. I knew how hard was him to fall asleep, I just wanted him to sleep well for once.
“Y/N… do you like someone now?” He asked with curiosity in his eyes and put my soft pillow under his head.
“Hey, don’t touch my favourite pillow!” I hit him playfully with my other pillow.
“Hey, don’t dodge the question.” Jimin rolled his eyes. If Jimin wanted to know something, he never gave up to gain the information.
“I don’t.” I lied and put my poker face on, hoping he wouldn’t see through me. “Do you, Jimin?”
“Yes.” He confessed and my heart started beating in an unnatural pace.
“Who?”
“Areum.” Jimin smiled at me, his face was glowing as he thought about her.
That was the first time when my fragile little heart broke.
“I didn’t expect this.” I laughed, trying my best to hide my sadness.
“Thanks to you, I could meet her and talk to her and I find her really cute.”
“Yes, she’s cute.” I nodded and I could feel how close I was to an outburst. I could hide and control my emotions very well but this time I knew it was only matters of time to cry.
“I hope she will go out with me.” Jimin sighed.
That night when he told me he liked Areum, it was my turn to be insomniac. Jimin’s closeness this time couldn’t calm my nerves but hurt me more than I expected.
When the people think it can’t be worse… I could see the situation becoming more awful at the party which was organised by Jungkook and Taehyung. Jimin left me alone to get drinks to me and him but he stopped halfway just to slid down his tongue on Areum’s throat. Betrayal hurt like hell as I thought Areum was my friend. If she had been my real friend like I thought she was, she wouldn’t have done this to me.
If my heart hadn’t been broken before, now it was in pieces.
After that party both Jimin and Areum sent me a message. Jimin couldn’t stop talking how happy he was to kiss her. On the other hand, Areum wrote me how much she hated herself, she betrayed my trust. Yes, she did.
But I knew how much Jimin wanted her, and as his best friend, I put his happiness first and I told Areum to take care of him… to love him.
They got together so soon, I wasn’t prepared. I had to accept the fact quickly but seeing Jimin everytime with hickies on his beautiful skin didn’t make it easier. He forgot to cover them many times and it was a real torture especially if I saw the same colored bruises on Areum’s neck. Seeing him kissing her made me throw up sometimes. I needed those goddamn feeling to fade away.
Now instead of the five of us, in the school canten at our table 6 people sat. I could see the boys’ eyes how disappointed they were, as they really wanted me and Jimin to be together. As Jimin and Areum got together, I promised myself to forget Jimin in romantic way… but I couldn’t. We still spent a lot of time together, even if a bit less often.
“Y/N, can we have a sleepover? I know your parents won’t be home and we have always talked about having a movie marathon.”
“I don’t know, we’ll see it. I am going to the toilet, I’ll be back soon.”
I managed to hold back my tears like pro but I needed to get out of his sweet words, his eyes which was about to convince me. Park Jimin didn’t know but he was the only person who could make me really happy but break my heart at the same time.
I heard the door open after me and felt fingers tapping on my shoulder gently. It was Areum.
“Y/N… I heard what Jimin proposed you and you know what you should do…”
“No, enlighten me.”
“You should decline because remember… I am his girlfriend, not you. Sleepovers are childish anyway.”
“You should be happy I let you have him.”
“Happy? Oh, honey. Even if you hadn’t agree, I would have got him anyways. Because just be realistic, do you think he would fall for a girl like you?”
That was the time when she showed me her true colors. She never once regretted hurting me. I meant nothing to her, she just climbed up on me to have a boy like Jimin - but contrary to other girls, I really did believe she was my friend and fell for her act.
After my conversation with Areum, Jimin and I spent much more less time together. The boys were shocked to see how controlling his girlfriend was and everytime she wasn’t around they told Jimin how much they disliked her.
“Jimin, this girl is extremely clingy. You can’t be alone with your best friend, Y/N… how interesting.” Jungkook said sarcastically.
“You never had a girlfriend, you don’t know this. Besides, only Y/N never complains because unlike you, she’s understanding.” Jimin retorted. He really hated how much was Areum brought up to their dialogue in negative aspect. As much as I wanted to diss that girl, I knew someone had to take his side. Who else if not his best friend?
“Don’t hurt him because he’s madly in love.” I laughed elbowing him.
“Finally. Thank you.” Jimin flashed me his signature smile and my heart raced.
“You’re welcome.”
“Still Jimin, you are too good for her.” Hoseok sighed and Taehyung nodded, agreeing with him.
The topic wasn’t continued by the boys when Areum appeared out of nowhere.
“Jiminie… your birthday is coming…” She whispered loud enough for us to hear.
“So is Y/N’s. They were born on the same day.” Taehyung stated causing Areum to glare at me.
“So what?” The girl tried to maintain her cute act but she was about to break it down. She hated how Jimin and I shared traits, hobbies…and a birthday.
“They both will become adults. So, we are organising a party the two of them.” Hoseok said.
“I wanted to celebrate with him privately.”
“Sorry to say but I have always wanted to celebrate our adulthood together with Y/N.” Jimin told her and he locked his hand with hers.
Areum wasn’t amused, everybody could tell. She was drumming with her fingers on our table, she knew she would be damned if she let the invisible mask fall of her face.
“Fine.” She said, not before giving me a death glare.
Jimin was really in love with her. They had been together for months when our birthday came. I slowly got use to he would never be mine. He was happy and I wished that Areum would never hurt his feelings.
“I hope she will be my soulmate. She reached eighteen in August, so we will see it. And I want you to find someone. I want you and Jungkook to be together, maybe you can distract him from being grumpy to Areum.” Jimin said while we were decorating his house. His mom had to go away on a business trip, she celebrated him in the morning before she went to the airport. She asked me to keep an eye on Jimin, while she was away. I didn’t understand why she asked me when Jimin had Areum. Didn’t she like her? Maybe that was the case.
“What would happen, if it wasn’t Areum?” I questioned him as I put some bottles of alcohol on the kitchen table.
“Well, I would be upset, that’s for sure.” He answered and I saw a thought crossing in his mind but he shrugged his shoulders. “Now, let’s call those lazy jerks to help.”
In the school everybody adored Park Jimin. He was the star, the captain of the football team, a polite student who could help anybody so it was understandable how many people wanted to be at his and my party. I knew they came only for Jimin but our classmates were fair enough to give some cute presents as they gave something to Jimin, too.
Areum, an almost award winner actress, gave me a make up set and a parfume.
“Thank you, Areum. You are very nice.” I said to her politely as she was next to Jimin.
“Now, Y/N. It’s my turn.” Jimin said and pulled out a small box, he put softly in my palm. I raised my eyebrows at him, not understanding what could be hidden in the pink box. To my surprise, it was a beautiful golden necklace. Judging by the grin on his face and the beauty of the jewelry, it must have cost a fortune.
“Park Jimin, you are crazy but sweet. Wait, I also have something for you.”
I couldn’t miss the jealous look on Areum’s face but I couldn’t care less.
“Open it.” I gave him a big box and he didn’t hesitate to tear off the wrapping paper.
Jimin’s face matched the happy face of a toddler. I knew what he wanted and now he got it. New pair of football shoes.
“Did you remember…?” He asked in awe.
“Of course I did. You eyed this for hours.”
He instantly wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into a suffocating hug.
“You are the best.” Jimin whispered in my ear.
“Tell me something I don’t know.”
Areum cleared her throat and I realized what we were doing in front of her, sending an apologetic look.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIMIN!” Everybody yelled and cheered.
“I hope you know, it’s not only mine but the most amazing girl’s birthday, too.” He said and sent me a warm smile which usually caused me a heart attack but with alcohol in my system I wasn’t that flustered.
“Y/N… aren’t you excited? Maybe you will find your soulmate.” Hoseok giggled as we drank a shot together.
“I’m not.”
“I hope that idiot and you will end up being soulmates. I don’t want to lose a bet against Taehyung again.”
“Hobi, I’m sure we won’t. Besides, we are only best friends and he really loves Areum.”
“I know what she told you that day in the girl’s toilet. That girl’s a real snake, I wish you weren’t a martyr and confessed to him sooner.”
“It’s almost midnight!” Jimin squealed and I admired how he wasn’t afraid of his future like I was. I was always afraid of the well-known loneliness, I just hoped Areum being on his side for life would never destroy our friendship for good. Before witnessing how they find each other again but this time permanently, I needed to calm myself down so I went out to breath some fresh air. Soon after that I had a strange sensation - I sensed a heartbeat along with mine and they surprisingly beat the same way. My jaw dropped - I found my soulmate.
The curiosity got the best of me and I wanted to break the news to Jimin and the guys. First I didn’t find anyone but luckily I met with Jimin who stared into my eyes and I felt like the time suddenly stopped around us. His orbs changed its colors to blue for few second then back and that was when everything clicked- the boy whom I loved with all my heart was my soulmate. My arm got a strange symbol and I could see an identical one on his arm, too. I wanted to touch him, to kiss him, to hold him. He was mine, only mine…
We woke up from the trance and as he came back to his senses as his soulmate, I could feel his emotions. Anger, confusion… disappointment. I wasn’t the girl whom he wanted to love for the rest of his life, I was far from his ideal type. Surely, he could be disappointed. Sensing those feelings hurt me and I was sure if I could sense his emotions, he felt mine’s.
The guests who had witnessed the whole scene couldn’t speak up, not even the boys. Areum was furious as she stormed off, exiting Jimin’s house. Jimin panicked, looking at me with a straight face and followed his girlfriend. Of course, she was upset with the situation. I could understand them.
I was only standing in the middle of the living room, some people were looking at me with sympathy and sorry but I couldn’t handle it, I ran to the bathroom to lock myself up for the rest of the night.

Why you called the letter fanservice and not the wedding, the engagement, the wedding shopping, the mistletoe kiss, Stefan with twins on xmas and so go on, all those things that were asking for scers to Julie, how was it? Right #30Sterolinewishes...you're asking for a wedding we're asking for a endgame Julie and Kevin make both fandom wishes to come true.
Ok honey you came into my ask box guns blazing and I’ll deliver a fight if you want one 😉 You really have an audacity to come here and say we the steroline fandom are the ones who ask for fan service? Well get ready for a long read cause I’ll blow your fanon klaroline mind away 😂 and btw I specifically tagged this as anti klaroline so honey I feel sad you feel the need to lurk in your fandoms anti tag 😂😂😂 I guess you just feel the need to attack everyone who doesnt share your opinion. You could have at least written this not as anon but whatever let’s get started shall we?Our ship has been developing since day one of tvd and those requests weren’t for fan service, they were what fans expected a developing couple to do. I’ll break it down for you: fan service is when the writers make something happen that has no impact on the storyline. And all things that steroline fandom got was for their development and growth as partners and best friends. Now lets talk about YOUR “ship”. I’ll admit that till season 4 you could’ve expected something out of that train wreck you call love story because the writers seemed to have been going in that direction. But everything changed when originals got a spinoff. And that’s when fan service started. Lets break it down: in season 5 we found out that Klaus would be coming back to laugh in Katherine’s face as she died, yet with writer logic he saw Caroline in the forest and abandoned all thoughts of getting revenge on a girl that was running from him over 500 hundred years. Yeah that’s believable 😂 the big bad klaus completely forgot his long time nemesis and fucked Caroline against a tree. That’s fan service and you know why?? Cause neither tvd or to plot changed because of that, Katherine was an excuse to bring klaus to MF so you could get your forest flop. Funny thing is after the whole thing Stefan was the one who helped her get through the hate she received from Tyler. Oh, another great point yeah Caroline surely would have slept with a man who killed her at the time boyfriend’s mom and banished the said boyfriend from MF lmao Writers made her lose all morals for your two minutes of yes:fan service. Moving on another fan service moment you received was the infamous phone call, again that did nothing to further the plot 😂 it was solely to throw a bone to your fandom. At the time Klaus was in love with his soulmate Cami and Care loved Stefan yet you got another moment between them when it made no sense. I mean sure when Klaus told Stefan to get out he “accidentally ” left his phone and the next second caroline called him and klaus as the good samaritan that he is answered and oh lord * pretends to be shocked* it was Caroline. And then at the end writers made Stefan say that Klaus loved Caroline when he never did… Yes he was very much infatuated with her but love was never there. Just look at his relationship with Cami. He knew her and she knew him and what about Caroline?? She knew nothing about him other than the fact he enjoyed hurting her friends and buying her pretty things trying to make up for it. Oh I made Tyler bite you? Yes sure I’ll make myself look like a hero when I give you my blood lmao That’s your otp and I don’t think you realize how toxic it is. Candice herself said how she doesn’t understand the whole thing and I recall her saying: he buys her things and then hurts her friends that’s NOT romantic. So honey you wanna talk about fan service? Your fandom is the definition of it. You know that tvd and to fans say in this fandom we don’t say klaroline we say fan service😬 It’s already a catch phrase. And even now this letter thing? Total fan service cause again as I mentioned it did nothing to further the plot actually it just made the plot have big holes, because at the time Care got that check klaus was literally in a dungeon hallucinating about his soulmate. You might see this as a win that you got that letter, but Plec is just baiting you once again, because everyone who watches both to and tvd knows Steroline and klamille are the real endgames. There’s a very slight chance that you get what you wished for, but know that everything you get is because some of your fandom(not all I am aware there are very tolerant kc’s) are rude, loud and send hate to sc and others. Remember the death treats to Leah Pipes after klaus kissed her character cami??? Yeah I’m sure you do your fandom cant accept canon and cant separate reality from fiction. Leah was doing her job and members of your fandom said she should kill herself. Really mature….and the hate that Candice gets because she openly talks about her dislike of kc. I mean I can talk about this all day, but this post is getting long lol So please try to come at me or my fandom again I have plenty to say about YOURS.
