hold up i NEED to know more about your Xisuma Views thing.... I just saw the art with Joel and i'm obsessed

Well it's just how it sounds, it's Xisuma's view of the world. Unlike other players, he can't see the layers they have to hide.

Lemme put it like this. You're making a minecraft skin and have your second layer, yeah? That's their base layer. And then there's a second layer that's more heavily concealing.

Xisuma isn't from minecraft and his code is glitched, so not only do layers not work for him, but he can't see the layers either. Some people use only base layers to hide "actual forms" if they have one, and others use a second layer to hide scars or parts of their body that don't need a heavy cover.

So Xisuma sees people in a bit of a weird way. He thinks how he sees people is how everyone sees eachother. He sees their true character.

Skizz is a really nice guy. He's always looking out for people, tries to be there for someone, some people say he acts like an angel.

And so Xisuma never questions it. He sees Skizz as an angel, other people supposedly see him as an angel. Skizz is just an angel, why would anyone see anything else? It's just Skizz.

Though the Skizz people actually see is his layers with the torn suit and brown hair. The layers also affect his interactions with people too. If he's around Skizz, he tends to squint alot or avoid looking in his direction if he's not in his armour. Skizz is blinding to Xisuma, so he has trouble looking at him. Though Skizz does have features, but he's too bright to see any of them.

Xisuma also has a type of layer as well, but it's not on him. He's too broken in the games code (that's a whole 'nother can of worms) for him to use layers. So what does he do? He adds a layer to everyone else.

Xisuma doesn't leave hermitcraft too often, so everyone outside it will see what he really looks like. In the server though? Everyone has a layer that covers Xisuma from their eyes. He's lucky his admin panel isn't from minecraft or else he'd be screwed.

What's fun with Xisuma seeing people's real forms is that (in my au at least) he's kind of a grey character. If there's ever a fight or spat between hermits, he can have trouble taking sides. Not all Hermits are angelic or aliens like Skizz and Joel. There's hermits who are monsters and beings who do or did bad things in the past. Not all Hermits talk about those things.

He can get better insights to people's decisions or just things about them. Joel has a habit to make things around bright areas or access to a lot of light. Maybe because he's made of it. Skizz only ever keeps one pair of elytra. Maybe because he's missing his second pair of wings that can't glow anymore.

He can see people for who they were. Keralis is an eyesore (literally) and can hurt to look at. Grian has too many evenly split scars across his body and Xisuma knows what's behind them. Doc isn't a creeper.

There's a lot to Xisuma's View thing and I do wanna eventually start drawing how everyone looks to him, but I'm indecisive and don't know where to start. So idk maybe I'll open ask box for hermit requests. Can be interactions between Xisuma and specific hermits (both ones seen and not) or it can just be their design.

Idk but feel free to ask about them, I have designs for every hermit, empires member and even everyone in the life series. So he's got plenty of people to show you.

General:

• Okay, so Sun would be very panicy at the begining, but after some times later, he would handle it very good!

• He is a daycare attendant, right? Although, he mostly works with children, but the important thing is that he knows how to take care of people. Even if you're an adult, he can help you at least a little bit.

• He knows while you're on your period your mood will probably swing back and forth. He totally understands it and won't be upset.

• He'll often go check up on you, bring you pads/tampons, medicine and do his best to keep you comfortable. He'll also scan you, just to make sure that you're really okay.

• If you need something, you just have to say it and he'll get it for you. Want a snack? Let's see what's in the kitchen...

Water? Of course, you have to stay hydrated!

Comfort? He'll make sure of that as best as he can!

• Also also, he'll ask Earth's help to make sure that you're really okay.

• Because of that, he'll ask for Earth's advice and help a lot!

• He's not the best at comfort, but he'll try. He won't do kiss and cuddle, but he will try to make you feel comfortable as best as he can. He'll often scan you instead of just simply ask you if you're okay.

• The closest you can get to cuddling is watching a movie with him. Y'know, i don't think he'll stop his workmaniac ass from work, but to make sure that you're fine, and if you really wanna spend time with him, then he'll stay for a few hours. Mostly he will wait for you until you fall asleep. After that, he'll send Earth or Sun to check up on you.

• Don't worry, he cares, he really does! And he's more than just worried about you! It's just so much happening right now...

• Eclipse is not the best at comforting, and he probably won't just go and snuggle with you. However, he is a great listener!

• If you don't annoy him too much, he'll let you tell your problems and might decide to help you.

• He acts like he wouldn't care, tho ocasionally he will ask you if you're okay or how bad the pain is

• if the pain is that bad, he'll try to get you painkillers.

• If you're at the point where you can't even get up or just feels bad to reach for example a water bottle, if you ask him, then he will probably give you (with a slight eye roll) the thing you asked. Just don't bother him too much.

• We all know that Eclipse can be a lil shit- but if you tell him that you're not in the mood, then he won't tease you or be a jerk. Don't get me wrong, this doesn't mean that he'll be a total sweetheart, but he will understand that now is not a good time.

• She is gentliest and supports you all the time! She tries to make you feel comfortable as she can!

• She will order you food (even if you don't ask her) and buy you supplies. She isn't panicking or worried (okay, maybe a little), she knows excatly what to do and she can keep herself calm and steady.

• If it makes you more comfortable, then she'll cuddle with you (and tbh, Monty might will join) with icecreams and/or noodles (or anything else you desire) while watching a movie.

• If the pain is really bad, then she'll consider to call a doctor. But usually she knows what to do.

• In the end, she is really caring!

Lunar

General:

• He'll probably be misunderstood or confused abour your behaviour at the begining so you or Earth may have to explain it to him.

• As he catches up, he will pay more attention to you.

• Earth and Sun will help you the most, however Lunar will do what he can!

The Prologue:

Upon awakening from the cryogenic pod, the first fresh gasp of air, burning her lungs from the crisp sensation of the cool air around her, managing to get out, falling in the process, unsure if she was in that damn thing for days, maybe months - or worse… years. There was no telling how long she had been there, but the sight along from seeing, raiders is what some were called from the surface, hearing a while back that some heard of the vault she was imprisoned in, it was better than most, the food was the greatest, the water was most fresh and purified to the stomach and skin. When they let her out, they promised to reunite her with her lover, yet never saw him in any time that she was taken out, just to be put unconscious and back into the cryogenic pod. They never let her see what day it was, even the month was unknown, along with the year. Making it known that she would be fooled once again, because her feelings were always heightened, leaving her in such a state, her mental health was at its worst months ago. Fighting raiders wasn’t in her to do list, but she sure showed those fuckers that she was worse than any of them. From wearing the vault suit that was tight against her flesh to their shitty attempt of clothing, now she wore a worn out wedding dress that carried more blood stains from every son of a bitch that had crossed her so far. No one got near her, if so, they got to deal with her resting bitch face and dry responses or nothing at all.

“Doll, please lemme have some -” a poor idiot bastard tried to place his hand on her exposed knee that was wrapped by duct tape, attempt to expose a wound from a light stab, he had the tip of her double saw shotgun right in his lips, practically giving it a heavy smooch.

“Touch me the fuck again, and I will make sure you deep throat my fucking barrels,” she snapped, her tone cold as ice, cooling his nerve endings, “Now fuck off, you piece of lizard shit.”

The only time that a bounty hunter has talked to her, it was to find the whereabouts of a Skeeter Roman, a little pickpocket thief that roams in crowded pathways, easily sneaking a hand into a pocket and snatching a stash of caps. Tip tilted her head to the side, her light eyes spotting who was asked for, with no hesitation, pointing at the little radroach thief, taking an unconscious drunk idiot’s bit of caps from the pocket. Poor little bastard wasn’t warned or nothing, she watched the man walk up to that little person, grab from the neck and snap a quick snap. The man grabbed the body and slumped it over his back, walking towards her and handing her one hundred caps for the trouble.

Taking a full swig of her nuka cola quantum, all eyes on her, but no one dared to even pull a gun for such a thing she had done. It’s not the telling, it’s for the caps, fuck everyone else, it’s only you against the world of pure bullshit and hell.

It’s been about a few days, everything seemed too quiet for her liking, her little home was a worn out house that was probably fucked by the nukes that were launched, a very late warning, leaving a lot of people running to vaults, under the house shelters that were later discovered as bullshit. The people that bought the high price were saved, but later killed, for what? For being selfish assholes that pushed others to their deaths or more, they either became ash forms or whatever mutated shit that was created by the radiation. Pulling out the metallic bottle jug that she managed to find, it was still fully intact, but filling it with the fresh purified water was so good, the way it washed the dryness of the throat, the refreshness felt so filling, pulling it away was so painful and limited. Pulling a bag that was hidden away, unzipping it to push the top to the side, the inside carried a lot of old worn out clothes that weren't too tattered, most of it was dresses, casual pants and tops, and some garments. Whoever put this together, they were either going on a vacation or trying to see if they would survive the blast, sadly anyone that did, well… there’s the aftermath of it all.

Scavenging was something close to surviving, but sometimes luck was a clutch, anything would be, if the cards were played right. Sighing, anything over nothing was better to none, it made no sense to make sense, it’s how it was. Letting her body go limp for a moment, hours of looking, breaking through things for something, just a bit to show some sight of hope, but even that was impossible to find. The vault was easy living, the problem was that it was too easy for food, for clothes, and overall… peace. Living on the surface wasn’t like that, it was like rats fighting for the last little sugar bomb, only to be shredded in the process, then eaten into nothing. Leaning her head back, swallowing the annoyance of the thoughts of differences, even to have the what ifs was irritating to think of.

What if they didn’t drop the bombs?

What if it didn’t get to that point?

What if…

Her brows furrowing, eyes closed, the thoughts were overflowing her mind. There was so much to think about, wondering if she would exist with how she was before, getting a chance to see what it was like to live… normally? Was that even a thing? It wasn’t that she wasn’t alive, no. It was more of being born in luxury, becoming a star like her parents, getting to be a popular model for cereal brands and even some cooking shows, and movies. Just the memories flowing again, this time they were clearer than before, just her being a damsel in the arms of a cowboy that held a smile after saving her. The way he fought off the goons, freeing her from a silly pathetic little scheme, then the shared kiss. Her hand touching her lips, her eyes still closed, wondering where he could be and if he could be alive, maybe he fixed his -

“Well, now…”

Her eyes snapped open with a panic, her hand quick with the gun by the side that was never brought up from her surroundings, but she sure kept it in sight to her side if need be. Staring where the voice was coming from, gun at hand and aiming at the person - no, pointing at a pretty much fully and mentally attached ghoul. It was odd to face one that talked, even if there were a few, they kept to themselves till they succumbed into madness, but this one felt different. Oddly different. He was a pretty interesting sight, the outfit he wore was cowboy like, the accent that lingered was something familiar, unsure where to place it, her image wasn’t a sight to see for sure, but what was a cowboy dressed up ghoul pulling up to where she was, and why was he there?

“Can’t find your own damn fucking house to claim?” She asked, her tone was steady with her facial expression holding a stern look.

His eyebrows would’ve risen, if he had any, but yet he was hiding the shock under his impression, ain’t no one ever had the balls like her to do what she just did. Not like he gave them a chance, because he was quick with the trigger, but this individual was something fucking ballsy to even find, especially that he was hired to bring her back. The cap was more than what any bounty hunter has ever been hired to do such a thing, most would pay that way to kill the person and call it a day, but this one was different, and he was determined to why. There was something about her that felt… familiar? Why? He didn’t know her, or did he? The questions were there, it was something that he never had to deal with, if it was, that was so damn fucking long ago to remember now, he was no human now that he was then. The two stared at each other in silence for a moment, till his mind grinding the gears going back some, maybe far back, just the eyes from her gaze and then it fucking clicked.

It was someone from his fucking past.

Although that's not what fate decided. In the party if this Rich guy...what was his name...Geto! After that you quickly dressed up and left almost cursing yourself for drinking the drink without checking and losing your dignity to a fuck boy. You didn't went to university for few days coping with this. You fucked a bit you liked but you are just a whore for him. You almost having a heartbreak but when your friend said huffing up and panting that The Gojo Satoru is waiting for you downstairs you went blank.

"What?"

"Just gooooo he's waiting for like 20 minutes!!!"

Kento Nanami is Nanami is may thing but a fuck boy. You were already attracted to him no doubt he was such a wif- husband material gwad. Opening the door , a gentleman, the polite tone in his voice, oh his raspy voice , those specs , those eyes, his lean but bulk physique, his abs, the tent in his pant-. You mean a total husband material.

Ranking Nico Di Angelo ships as a multishipper with a crazy imagination, a Nico hyperfixation of 3 years, and the willpower of a god:

1. Solangelo - 8/10 I love them!! I adore Will in TSATS and he’s easily one of my favorite characters. I wish Rick had let us get to know Will separately before he was immediately made Nico’s boyfriend, but I love him anyway. I think they’re good for each other and very supportive. I think I spend too much time consuming media of them than their actual book interactions, because in media I hate their fanon portrayals, but I adore them in cannon. I only had the chance to read half of TSATS, but I thought it was cute!

2. Jasico - 10/10 I love them for the same reasons I love Solangelo, but Jason got character development and Will didn’t. Also, they had a cool moment with Cupid that I think about once a week at least. Jason is constantly someone Nico trusts and (I may be wrong) hugs at some point in the series. The only people Nico has shown direct physical affection to within the series (to my knowledge) are Will, Jason, Hazel, and Reyna. This proves how much Nico trusts Jason, even after Cupid. Also they’re silly and dumb and I love them so I’m right always

3. Nico x Conner - 10/10 I FUCKING LOVE THEM SO MUCH. Lemme explain. So when Nico came to camp he stayed with the Hermes cabin, but Luke was already fucked off (I think) so Conner and Travis were probably in charge of the cabin. Conner’s age changes several times, so I headcannon him to be just a tad older than Nico. I think since he knew Nico when he was a kid he can make present day Nico less doom and gloom and know when he’s truly happy. Also, Nico went to a notably strict military school before coming to camp, yk what they say, strict conditions raise sneaky kids. Thats right, these two are fucking nuts. They are little thieves. And I don’t even wanna mention the implications of Conner’s dad (Lin Manuel Miranda) being the god of travelers and Nico essentially being an eternal traveller. They make me so sick I love them

4. Nico x Clovis - 7/10 they were mentioned as friends MAYBE once and I took that shit and ran with it tbh. I don’t even remember if it’s cannon. I just love them. I THINK it was mentioned that Clovis helps Nico with his nightmares, but atp this shit might just be my imagination or a fic I read once. Anyways, Nico is noted as a very anxious person, and Clovis is very laid back. I really like that duo and the idea that Clovis can help to ground him a lot and help him relax

5. Valdengelo - 6/10 while I do adore them, they have hardly any time together or any bonding moments at all (Note: I am a hypocrite over Clovis let’s fight abt it) I do love media about them and consume it at rates not comprehendible by mankind though. Aside from no time together, I think they’re epic. Nico experiences a lot of the same things as Leo, such as losing his mother and general sadness, but they cope in wildly different ways (neither of which are healthy). Also, Nico grew up in the lotus casino. I’m sick of us all acting like he doesn’t understand technology. Let them be engineer boyfriends PLEASE

6. Pernico. - 0/10 I don’t care at all if other people ship them, since it’s fandom and you can do whatever you want. I just personally don’t enjoy their chemistry and see them more as brothers. You do you tho.

Okay, two things I would say to this. Within the universe of Bungo Stray Dogs, I don't think that's something we are likely to see, like ever. We have no clue what could possibly happen post-season 5, and where the latest events will leave the plot. If this is nearing the climax of the entire story, a focus on minor characters like Gin isn't likely.

In the event that Fyodor is not the big bad endgame boss and we would have more time for smaller storylines, I still don't think Gin would have one like this? Mainly because during her short interaction with Dazai in present time, she still was visibly affected by his words. She still seemed to see Dazai as the man who knew her and her brother as kids, who picked them up from the slums.

There's a chance she wasn't quite so aware of the nature of her brother's relationship with Dazai. Or maybe she knew and figured that's the way of the Mafia. Or maybe she sees Akutagawa's respect and adoration still being pretty intact, so she assumes their mentorship still stands despite Dazai's betrayal. Or maybe she sees him as another enemy.

We simply do not know enough about Gin to make an accurate guess. Sorry if that wasn't what you were expecting, I know it's kind of a non-answer XD

I'm sure that she at least holds some resentment towards Dazai.

Hello, Mr. Lev, sir! They added Octopath Traveler to GamePass, and I've been itching to play it after seeing how much it has enraptured you. Any advice or anything I should know going in?

Oh absolutely, lemme lay out some stuff:

Gameplay-wise, this game is very strategy-based and often grind-heavy. If you wanna slap some mods onto it to make the gameplay less tedious in terms of exp/jp gain, I would not blame you At All. If you're into that kinda stuff (like me) it's a LOT of fun utilizing strategy to take down beasts, but if you're not, I say there's no shame in watching a playthrough instead.

You will see people talking a lot of shit on this game. These are typically people who got their opinions from people who already do not like RPGs and went into a game mis-marketed by Square Enix, who is already well known for botching the marketing on everything they produce except Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. The game is a pretty consistent 7-8 out of 10, it's not the best thing they've ever made but it is not even CLOSE to the worst thing theyve put out and people get wayyy too mad about it for some reason.

Don't, like...go in expecting super deep inter-party interactions. You get plenty of them, like 3-4 per chapter after everyone's chapter 1 (in order to get them you need to have the specific character they wanna talk to in your party. After a major plot beat the move is usually to go to the tavern and swap people out until you see the party banter icon in the corner, but if you don't wanna do that they're all available on the octopath wiki). It's annoying that there's not more of them but for me what really makes my brain like to gnaw on it is that the characters are all strongly written but there's a *lot* of space left in the air to be filled in, and if you mesh with the characters and the storytelling you'll find that it's so easy to fill in the blanks yourself.

If you don't vibe with one, that's fine. Two is generally considered the better of the two for the technical improvements and more inter-party interaction, but there's no right answer in terms of which one is narratively better. It's alllllll subjective

btw invest in Therion early. hes good as a dodge tank and a magic user but the OT1 Thief movelist is actually kinda nuts. He doesn't have to be the one you start with but if you do I apologize in advance for the funny purple thief brainrot

Same with Tressa, parts of the Merchant movelist may seem underwhelming at first but once you get to the point where money is easy to come by and you have A Certain Secret Job, it's VERY hard to justify leaving her at home for tough fights.

also you should play Live A Live. its not quite right to call it OT a spiritual successor but it takes some strong cues from it. also the remake on switch is really good

Blogs and sideblogs

Obviously, you'll have your main blog that you make when you get Tumblr(mine is @voidedmuffin, as you see here), but Tumblr allows the unique ability to have multiple sideblogs completely separate from your main. Some people use this feature to make a spam blog, art blog, interest blog, ask blog, etc. A common thing with the system community here is alter-specific blogs and/or a general system blog for catchall stuff. I'll be using some of ours as examples

Starting with comparing them. @legsystem is our general catchall system blog that our alters can post to publically or anonymously. I tend Not to post system-related things on my personal blog, just cuz I'm a little private about it. @timdrakesstaff is a fictive alter of Tim Drake from DC(he's a loser, lol). He made his own blog to interact with others as himself without needing to mask as the host. Some other alters Also use his blog because they like encroaching on others' property, lol

Our immediate bios aren't very descriptive because of our private nature, but it gets the jist across of pronouns and age. Some system blogs will link their Carrd or Rentry here, or do that in a different post.

The reason Tim's blog has two URLs listed is because if you view it on desktop, you can see a very personalized page! Very cool Tumblr feature that you can find layouts for!! That means you layout makers have enrichment here still! In fact, you have a lot more wiggle room!

It just lays out some more information and ground rules. This is often where people will put their DNI's and stuff. We didn't use a lot of tags on it just out of preference. These can be as short or as long as you want. You don't even have to have one if you don't want to!

Sourcecalls/Canoncalls

The main difference between these two things is that the system community tends to not use the canoncall tag, as that's primarily used by the kin community, cuz it's a spiritual multiversal connection thing? I dunno, my knowledge on kinning comes from 2017-2020 Qutev kinmunity and uhhhhh, that was just a large group of systems who Didn't Know Yet, lmfao. Sourcecalls are just for finding fictives from the same source as you!

Like I said, there are lots of blogs out there that let you submit anonymously for a source. @findinyourkin @findthebae @kincalling @problematickincalls1(specifically for problematic sources or characters, or specific timelines. They don't tag triggers, so be mindful) among many other blogs, I just know that these are popular and active ones to use!

These blogs will often have their own criteria for sourcecalls, but it usually follows Character-source-age-age range you comfy with-contact with added option of adding in memories you have to make your distinguishable or who in particular you might be looking for. Some blogs ask you to specificy if you're kin/fictive and if you're okay with the other interacting As for contact, you can link/@ a blog in the call, reblog the call to said blog, or add a "interact(like/rb) this post and I'll reach out to you!". You can turn on notifications for a post, but it doesn't always work

When you go to look for sourcemates, you'll want to look up the #[media] fictive or #[character] fictive. (Alternatively #[media] kin or #[character] kin). The former is Everything, the latter is for a specific person. This can be used to find that specific guy you might be looking for "I'm a X fictive looking for Y fictive from Z source. I will go into the #Y fictive tag to see what I can find. Or I will see all the different/unsorted people by searching #Y fictive]"

Here's a couple examples from our system! (Click on the second image to actually see the full thing, lmao)

On the left is a sourcecall post anonymously to a search blog. It follows the basic criteria I listed above. In the blog's post, they'll end up tagging it with #canon calls, #lance mcclain fictive, #voltron fictive, #fictive some blogs will tag a little differently or more in-depth. Lance ended up reblogging his sourcecall post to @legsystem so people could find him/the blog easily

On the right is a sourcecall post made by the alter on their own blog. It's very direct. Tim lists more stuff in his post than Lance did in the anon one, but ultimately they're very similar! Tim also made his in 2022 and still gets interactions(like, 2 in the last week alone, lol). So, if people look for you, they will find you!

Nightbow has none of that, they hate each other's guts. People say they can fix them, nah, with Palux you can make them worse (/j) HEJWJEJWJSJA

"Petro and Alux's entire dynamic is mainly built off of manipulation" YES but thats on Petro's side. Most people ship it due to it being tragic on Alux's side because everyone in this fandom likes doomed mlm i guess (I'm one of those people but again the plot reasons goes on for both of their dynamic)

"But he stabbed him" YES. I have not seen a single person who ships them currently its mainly a one sided ship. For alux its built off genuine love and care for Petro, knowing he's the only REAL connection in his life. The people who ship them (from what I've seen) mainly do it for tragedy and narrative purposes. no one is actually here WANTING alux to be stabbed and abused

And for Petro it adds much more conflict to his character if you add like any romance to him. like, loving the person your meant to kill and killing them anyways is a really interesting narrative plot idea. Its also really funny tbh but oh well.

Narratively it adds more to their characters as long as you dont romantize it and treat it like it'd be healthy especially at this point in the story.

This is literally doomed Yaoi (it's funny I wanna say that) and it works so well because of how they were narratively written this way towards each other. This cooked better than some enemy wanting to, excuse my language, have freaky SHIZ going on with the Hero 💀

i genuinely think this man was the blueprint for gojo (or just the blueprint in general for the goofy powerful sensei trope) so some of gojo's characterization can fit with him BUT what makes urahara stand apart imo is his intelligence and manipulation. he’s soo good at reading people and understanding their wants and motivations and he hides how calculated he can be behind his easy-going attitude. there are a couple of points in the story where he deliberately manipulated the main characters by doing and saying whatever he needs to get them to do what he wants (he has apologized before and come clean about it after the fact but not always.) urahara is always looking waaaaay into the future and taking whatever steps he needs to take to get there. he does have limits though. he knows when he’s going too far and everything he does is generally for the greater good not just his own personal agenda. very much the embodiment of “the ends justify the means.”

SOOO if we take that and try to guess how he would be in a romantic relationship i think urahara kinda clocks it immediately when you start to feel attracted to him and even worse he knows the second that that initial attraction turns into genuine feelings. i think it could go either way from there depending on what he wants from you. if he’s down for a fling but nothing more i don’t think he’ll change much about himself and if you end up in his bed then it happens. he’s not going to use your feelings against you to get you to sleep with him when he knows he doesn’t want the same thing you do but he’s also not going to stop anything from happening like some moral knight. he’s of the opinion that you’re an adult with your own will and if you wanna have some fun then he’s more than happy to give it to you. (munch enthusiast btw this man eats pussy from the back)

BUUUUT if urahara does want to be in a relationship with you i think everyday is a struggle for him. because he knows. he knows all the words he could whisper in your ear to make you his. it’d be so easy too. a couple of promises about how he won’t treat you the way others have, soothing insecurities you never even told him about, giving you the attention you obviously crave from him. he daydreams about different scenarios he could weave for you, maybe dangerous maybe just humiliating, that he could then rescue you from so that you see him as your saviour. he could have you so easily but he won’t do a thing because he thinks you deserve a genuine love, a true love. so he’ll draw that line for himself and change exactly nothing about how he interacts with you.

it sucks for you in both situations cause you can't tell how this man feels for you at all. you get surface level flirting and some touchiness and that’s it. if you two do end up in a relationship, you’re the one who’s gonna have to initiate a lot of it and do a lot of the heavy lifting at first. it’s only when urahara is sure that the relationship was organic and he can look himself in the mirror and be sure that he didn't manipulate you into being with him that you get his full authentic self.

Mucha was staring down hard at the flooring of the dojo, his tired muscles now shaking and aching. His father’s massive form looming over him. Leonardo was seated of course, his steely eyes closed in deep concentration, one who didn't know the mutant would think he was deep in meditation. Curved into a perfect form for the clearing of the mind, Mucha knew the older mutant very well however. He saw the taunt balled muscle of his Master’s shoulders. The hard line of his face, deep breathes too deep to be calm. More acquainted with trying to be. Trying to stitch together his worn thin threaded patience. Mucha knew look intimately, and his mind would not calm. A torrent of nerves rattled and washed his brain as he held his own seated position. Dirt and scratches littering his hide stinging sharply, with every twitch of his overworked flesh. His gaze had flickered to his father’s face after being sat down. He had grown too anxious to stare at the older turtle’s prized teapot. It had long grown cold. His father’s cup was still full, untouched through the night. “You're supposed to have your eyes closed,” A solitary brilliant blue eye opened, Mucha almost choked. “Or will you be breaking those simple rules too?”  Leonardo’s voice cut deeper than his twin blades ever could, any bit of composure that Mucha had was flayed away. “D..dad I'm sorry-” Leo’s fists clenched, brow bunching. “Do not ‘sorry’ me Mucha! You,” A deep breath through his nose, " broke the only rule I gave you.” Mucha bit his tongue to suppress his choked noise of guilt. “A rule I made you swear to, if you were going to take your cousin’s on patrols. What was it again Mucha?” Leonardo tilted his head, anger coating his words in a lowly growl. The young turtle whimpered softly, guilt clogging his throat. “Dad let me- Say. It.” With a shaky breath, Mucha forced out, “Never stay out past four, but Dad-” Leo interrupted him, “The only one, and you broke it! To what? Take a peak at a human?” Mucha opened his beak to argue, that the pretty redhead was more than just a ‘human’. His father blocked the response. “Oh no, I'm sorry, to chase after a human girl endangering your cousins,” Leo’s voice grew angrier with every syllable. “ Almost getting Maddie KILLED.” Mucha winced hard, Madonna's crumpled form flitting across his mind. “Over a crush?!” Leo was losing his temper, now frustration surfacing in a boil. Leonardo’s young son bowed his head, face and eyes burning. If he could just understand. Leo took a deep breath rubbing his temples, while something akin to anger began to overwhelm Mucha’s earlier guilt. His brow furrowing in memory of the girl’s soft crying. His promise to protect her. “Fathe-” “No stop, I don't want your excuses.” While Leonardo’s anger began to temper and harden. Mucha curled his beak into a scowl.

Condescendingly. “Not fun being a punk huh?” The jerk's smile dropped. “Maybe you’ll think about it next time, before you drag your cousins on some venture. Right at dawn may I add.” There was coldness glinting in the mutant’s eyes, Mucha felt the hurt filled frustration run over. It coated his heart, drowning his guilt at disobeying. The pain of disappointing the most important person in his life. Of Dad not listening, never listening. He felt an angry sob tear from his throat. Leo stiffened. Tears overflowed and Leo sighed softly. “Mucha-OH FUCK YOU!” Leo blanched. Mucha strained to stand, the sixteen year old’s legs trembling from jumping and climbing for hours on end.  Three fingered fist clenched and breathing heavy Mucha began, and demanded his Father’s attention this time…

1) Lost Kin Food Adventures/Also Hallownest Restored AU:

Part of me wants to keep it brief since I've story boarded a whole chapter of this I've kept but I got to edit it first (if I ever do ;-;)

- Lost Kin being a student and having an informal child/father type relationship Nail master Oro

- Lost kin learns that it's Nailmaster Oro's Hatchling day coming up soon, and they are invited by Sheo and the Nail Smith! Both teach them about birthdays/Hatchling day traditions

- They intend to make a cake! But learns that not many people in Hallownest don't know how to

- Although Lemm is a Relic-Seeker, Lost Kin learns that Lemm had heard of knowledge of adventurers cooking and baking, so they venture out to find the ingredients themselves together

Sideplot skirmishes/Character Moments:

- Hallownest is being rebuilt, and more bugs are flooding in! Hornet makes Quirrel an informal advisor to The Hollow Knight to help organize the kingdom a bit much to Lemm's chagrin

- Lemm × Quirrel: Lemm worries that Quirrel is not thinking about himself after seeing him devote more time to restoring to kingdom. This leaves Quirrel kind of hurt and they fight over it sometimes.

- Lost Kin figuring out themselves battling trauma between the Radiance and Pale King, trapped between void and light.

- Canon Drama: There's still tension between Oro and Mato and the Nailmaster family is tryna fix that

- Minor Drabble: Quirrel and the Hollow Knight reminiscing over their trauma and how they heal to being scared about rebuilding the corpse that is Hallownest

**(I'd imagine Quirrel here thinking fondly of Lemm when he says "it's okay to be useless" from the Stag Beetles and Broken Legs fanfic and somehow paralleling that to the Hollow Knight's new responsibility as king to not have as much pressure. That fic by Aryashi and relationshipcrimes on Ao3 is amazing, go go go)

Notes:

- I'D ASSUME Sheo, Mato, and Oro are all triplets since they're practically identical but for that AU they've hatched on different days

- After installing Tumblr, I've seen SO MUCH food AU Stuff and I'm excited I'm not alone :_) I can't remember the exact creators that I've seen tho sadge

- Its funny since with this AU it assumes that Hallownest's gastronomy (at least in the baking department) being underwhelming as heck. I mean most people in Hallownest are warriors so I don't expect them too kek.

- Battling the fine line betwixt reality and fiction because I've done baking research on what Lemm and Lost kin CAN cook realistically but then like can bugs digest milk? Can bugs make a human cake and eat it too? Or do I have to use realistic substitutes? (Help I learned cockroaches can make milk, now you can know about it too HAH but yea no don't want that)

- Finally, definitely wanna flesh out Lemm and Lost Kin's relationship but I'm not sure how they would bond over in story. Maybe over Lemm's curiosity over the Pale family history and why these bugs look all the same and Lost Kin wanting to just experience life suffering from possession from radiance and such.
