NAME: Jacqueline “Jackie” Zhang GENDER & PRONOUNS: Cis woman / She/Her AGE & DATE OF BIRTH: 36 years old / May 11 HOMETOWN: Westerly, RI TIME IN WESTERLY: Returned 1 year ago RESIDENCE: Watch Hill OCCUPATION: Owner and artist-in-residence at the Klein Gallery
I HAD A FEELING SO PECULIAR THAT THIS PAIN WOULD BE FOR      ——      evermore.
Trigger Warnings: imbalanced relationship dynamics, racism, and implied pregnancy
The scent of lavender and bleach are as synonymous with her childhood, as the soles in her shoes and microwave dinners in the trash bin. It’s as if Jackie Zhang always lived on the periphery of beautiful things. She could bask in the refined scent of the Elliott Inn’s lobby, or peruse the fine string of pearls on mahogany desks - but she could never truly have it. After all, alimony payments and hotel maid’s wages only go so far. It’s not as if Jia Li Zhang married well. Alimony and child payments came few and far between, often coming after a dozen packs of smokes and an ever-present gambling debt. What remained of their money was diluted further. At least half, to family members remaining in Hong Kong. A family obligation and a familiar plight to those fortunate enough to find a home in the United States of America. Indeed, it was a childhood of have-not’s. Lonely evenings spent in front of the TV, or twiddling with a pad and paper on the beach.
It was in her loneliness that a veracious desire took root. One day, that will be me. She would have it all; a warm home filled with her heart’s desire, the present-mind of her loved ones, and a sense of true security. After all, those that come from money rarely worry about the ground beneath their feet. And what a thing it would be, to be rid of the pain of insecurity for ever more. But a goal without a plan is only a wish, and Jackie had no time to spare on plain old wishes. In the purview of her affluent peers, Jackie took note - how did they yield their fork and knives, what books and movies came up in dinner conversation… She took it all in, calculated and weaponized, awaiting deployment. It helped, of course, that she managed a scholarship to Bluewater Day School due to her artistic skill. God gave with at least one hand, and beauty sprang from the stroke of her brush.
Talent and will propelled her to the Rhode Island School of Design. A coveted arts school, the best of the best. Not that her mother thought much of it. Art was the avenue for those with a security blanket, and poor little Jackie Zhang had none of that. Though it may have been the case, she refused to accept it. And so, the first change was made from common-ole Jackie to seemingly-elegant Jacqueline Zhang. But that’s not all that changed. She re-oriented herself, designing a charismatic and intelligent persona that drew in friends in high places. The misdeeds of her past had nothing on the bright light of her future. After graduation, New York City and the promise of an art exhibition called.
A true, Manhattan fairytale; she was an aspiring artist and he was an affluent titan by the name of Augustus Klein the Fourth. The sort of New York City, old money elite bachelor who oozed certainty and prestige. It’s what she loved about him, looking back; the promised security in his well-established presence. He dazzled, as an amalgamation of the father she never had and the life she long coveted. Ten years her senior and a worldly financier, Jackie fell into the whirlwind romance. It’s with him that she first tasted oysters Rockefeller, or attended a prestigious ballet performance. It’s with him that the popularity of her art rose in the elite, Manhattan social scene. It’s with him that she stepped further into the person she wanted to be, and further from who she was. Her name became Mrs. Jacqueline Klein, well-positioned with a five carat ring on her finger and ownership of Klein Gallery in her name.
But all that glitter isn't gold, and the longer she remained in her marriage, the more apparent it became. It started with small digs; the growing irrelevance of artists in the modern atmosphere, the Klein family’s ever-growing charitable foundations, and colored remarks on her mother’s accent. From there, it grew; the scandal of her latest exhibition, the impropriety of her politics, and how far they were from starting their own family. As with all things, the rot comes slowly… But the decay? That happens all at once. Their once lovelorn relationship burns like ash. No matter how tightly she held on, it inevitably got away from her. By 2019, they were officially separated. By 2022, their long and laborious divorce is finalized. The pre-nup was generous, and in exchange for her discretion, Augustus was more so. With settlement in hand and tail between her legs, she comes home to Westerly and into the arms of the gallery - the final place she truly belonged.

The Last week of JFK Jr, a timeline.
Here's an incomplete list of the events that occurred during the last week of J&C. I compiled it using books and this thread.
Monday, July 12:
Morning: Carolyn was at the Vineyard with Carole Radziwill, and Holly.
Later on she heads out to the airport to return to NYC with Efigenio Pinheiro.
John flew from Martha’s Vineyard to Toronto to meet with Keith Stein. Once in Toronto, Stein drove John north to his offices in Aurora, Ontario.
John and his co-pilot flew back to NYC later on Monday night.
Tuesday, July 13:
Night: John showed up at a British advertising agency party in downtown Manhattan. Only stayed for forty minutes.
Wednesday, July 14:
Morning: JFK Jr was still in CAM Walker.
John called Empire Executive car and Limousine service of Manhattan to pick them up at home and deliver them to Paramount Plaza Building, where George maintained office space on the 41st floor.
John and Carolyn held a breakfast reception at George for the executive board of the Robin Hood foundation.
Following the breakfast, Carolyn went shopping at Bergdorf Goodman, then picked up her sister Lauren at the midtown Manhattan office of Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.
1:30 p.m: Carolyn and Lauren were dropped off at the Stanhope Hotel. John joined his wife and sister-in-law for lunch in the hotel cafe M.
After lunch, John returned to George offices and dealt with financial papers.
He also spoke to Caroline over the phone.
Richard Blow overheard John's conversation with Carolyn, which lasted five minutes. He was only able to make out the following, "Well, Goddammit, Carolyn, you're the reason I was up at three o' clock last night!"
4 p.m: John received a call from Janet Reno’s office to discuss an upcoming interview with Reno for George magazine.
5 p.m: John telephoned Jacques Lowe, and recounted details of his latest altercation with Carolyn. He told Lowe that he intended to spend the next night or two at the Stanhope Hotel.
8 p.m : John returned to the Stanhope after work, and checked into room 1511.
Ordered light supper from room service, and ate while watching the evening news on television.
Several hours later John received a visit from Julie Baker. She stayed with John and watched a video until 12:30 a.m. She then left, but insisted she join John for breakfast the next morning. .
John and his cousin Chris Lawford cruised West Village that night, having dinner then checked out some parties.
Thursday, July 15:
8 a.m: John had breakfast with Julie Baker at the Stanhope dining room, Cafe M.
After breakfast, John taxied to Lenox hill Hospital and his CAM Walker removed, he was given a walking cane, and a new pair of lightweight metal crutches.
10:30 a.m: He left the hospital and went to the North Moore apt for a change of clothes, and packed a weekend bag to take back with him to the hotel.
Afterwards, he stopped at Kennedy family offices on 500 Fifth avenue to retrieve his quarterly financial statement, and  bumped into cousin Chris K. Lawford. According to Lawford, John had lost his crutches was dragging his broken foot.
Early afternoon: He had lunch with publisher Peter Jay Russo to discuss the future of George. They lunched at San Domenico on Central Park South. They lunched in his usual booth. At one point, he hobbled over on his injured ankle to hug and kiss Diane Sawyer and chat with her lunch companions, Leslie Stahl and Peggy Noonan. He told them he wasn’t letting his crutches slow him down. Restaurant co-owner Marisa May says he was in a great mood. He thanked her for always protecting his privacy. “Remember, I brought Carolyn [Bessette] here before anyone knew,” he said. “I hope to bring the whole family soon.”
Afternoon at George: John called the edit staff into the conference room for a meeting. Then John met with the George business staff.
Later that afternoon, John showed up at La Palestra,he put in a two-hour workout, says a source, and handed studio owner Pat Manocchia a set of keys to his loft, so Manocchia could spend the weekend.
Met with Gary Ginsberg and both were driven to Yankee Stadium to watch a Yankee/Braves game.
After the game John, and Gary ate a ‘midnight snack’, and shared a car home, during which both discussed Jack Kliger, and Anthony Radziwill's sickness, John also told Gary he was ready to fly again.
After the game, John returned to his North Moore apartment to spend time with Carolyn.
Shortly after 1 a.m and by 2.am: John instructed the driver to head south on 5th avenue, because he would be staying at the Stanhope Hotel.  Friday, July 16:
9 a.m: John checked out of the Stanhope Hotel, and ate breakfast at the hotel Carlyle on Madison avenue.
10 a.m: John came into George offices, and began discussing the upcoming Rob Lowe cover.
John also attended a meeting with Jack Kliger at the George office to discuss the future of the magazine.
John told Rosemarie Terenzio that Carolyn didn’t want to attend Rory’s wedding. Terenzio was able to convince Carolyn to attend the wedding, and told Carolyn to go shopping for a dress.
Carolyn spent nearly 2 hours in the afternoon shopping at Saks Fifth avenue for a dress with a friend.
John returned to the Stanhope to collect his papers.
At about noon, John received a telephone call from Brian Calcagne, director of sales for Air Bound Aviation. Calcagne asked John if he was planning on flying the Saratoga later that day. Confirming the flight, John asked the caller to have the aircraft ready for departure by early evening.
John then got a call from Robert Merena, a flight instructor who wanted to know if Kennedy needed somebody to accompany him to Martha’s Vineyard. John told the instructor he wanted to fly the plane himself.
1 p.m: John went to lunch with Richard Blow at the Trionfo, John was still using crutches even though his cast was off. He ordered salad, chicken in white wine sauce, and peppermint tea.
After lunch with Richard, John returned to George offices.
3 p.m: John placed a phone call to William Noonan, to cancel a dinner appointment the two had set up for later on Friday night.
5:00 p.m: John went into Richard’s office to ask him about publishing a poem in the magazine, both of them thought it was a bad idea, and John returned to his office, phoned New York literary agent Sterling Lord, and John let him know the poem won’t be published.John also wrote a rejection letter and sent it to them.
5:30 p.m: John was on the phone with Lauren Bessette and agreed to meet her at 6:30 p.m in front of his office building.
John informed Rosemarie Terenzio he was going to work out, then head off for the weekend.
Rosemarie Terenzio reminded John to meet Lauren in the lobby at 6:30.p.m
He then checked the Weather Service International’s aviation website to determine the weather conditions for Martha’s Vineyard.
6:30 p.m: John left George offices and went to meet Lauren.
6:45 p.m: Carolyn was seated in the back of a Lincoln Town Car en route to Essex County airport.
8:25 p.m: Carolyn called Carole Radziwill and told her “We’re getting a late start, I’ll call you in the morning.”
8:38 p.m: Tower at Essex County airport cleared John for takeoff.
9:24: John flew over Westerly, Rhode Island.
9:39 p.m: John radioed the airport and said he was 13 miles from the airport and 10 miles from the coast.
9:40 pm : John’s plane descent rate eventually exceeded 4,700 fpm (53 mph). The target's last radar position was recorded at 2140:34 at an altitude of 1,100 feet."

yo-hoo and HUGE greetings from this side ! i’m alex, a massive sucker for mints that burn ur tongue & specialist at c r a p  intros. welcome to my clusterfunk of a babie .
- theodore turner, always goes by todd. born in westerly, rhode island during parent’s honeymoon tour ‘round the states. lived in bristol for a couple of years, or until parents split up and father quickly married a nice lady from leeds, who at that time had a one year old daughter.  - todd moved in with them shortly after his mother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (ms), as that’s when she, herself, decided she would not be able to take care of the child.  - his father and step mom own a hotel, good business; going great, and thus there’s always some money in the house.  - this is still a pretty fresh muse soooooo . . more backstory details will come at some point  - personality wise todd is very disconnected. probably had his brain fried by some acid n other. narcotics at a fairly young age.  - he’s v mellow, melancholic, a ragdoll type. you can do with him whatever the heck u please. he’s always somewhat dazed, despite not being high all the time. it’s just.. the way he is, really. think 2d from gorillaz.  - is in a band. plays the keyboard. goes to music festivals a lot, has all these types of bracelets all over his wrists.  - despite his genuinely confused and chill persona, he gets attached to ppl a lot !! someone’s nice to him? BAM he’ll make a mixtape !! because of this he’s had some troubles finding a girl-boy-friend-whatever-partner thing, ‘cause uh he kinda just starts writing them songs n poems and that usually . scares any possible love interest away ??  - not a stupid kid. quite book-smart which def helps him get by  - a part of the riot club , but doesn’t let that get to his head  - doesn’t really identify as anything. completely neutral, but goes by any pronoun.  - looks ill all the time. skinny child. gets frequent nosebleeds. - has almost overdosed twice. on what?? well the first time he was told it was mdma, but .. you never know. the second was a bad mixture of pills and alcohol, however not meant to be a suicide attempt; just a thoughtless action rly  - his step sister is 17. they get along just fine.  - todd is very much into human contact. all for cuddling with ppl, having someone play with his awkwardly long fingers, touch his hair, etc etc.  - lives with two very lovely girls.  - is very good at getting himself into strange or dangerous situations.  - lovable kid however. VERY harmless. perhaps somewhat misunderstood?
if interested, u can find the pinterest board here
wcs: someone he has a huge crush on / attached to ,  friends with benefits, housemates, close friends, enemies, hook-ups, boys n girls who will just hold him–– you name it !

For $4.99m, the Carousel Suite at R.I.'s Ocean House
Megan Johnson — Globe correspondent
April 7, 2021 2:51 pm
A luxe property at one of Rhode Island’s most prominent resorts is now on the market.
The Carousel Suite, Unit 3-2 at 2 Bluff Ave. in Westerly, R.I., is located on the third floor of Ocean House, a luxurious hotel in the storied village of Watch Hill. The 2,650-square-foot condo, which is listed at $4,995,000, is one of only two Ocean House units that overlook both Little Narragansett Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
“When you’re in one wing of the condo, you’re looking at Little Narragansett Bay, Stonington Harbor, and the borough of Stonington, and when you’re out on the terraces, just outside the Carousel Suite, you are looking at Block Island and the Atlantic,” said Donna Simmons of Mott & Chance Sotheby’s International Realty, who has the listing.
The property’s name comes from Watch Hill’s iconic Flying Horse Carousel, and its inspiration is clearly noticeable in the stunning “three-season” room. Boasting a vaulted fir ceiling, it’s adjacent to an expansive sundeck.
The two-bed, three-bath property, which comes fully furnished, features an open living area with big windows and stunning water views. Plenty of seating, a slate fireplace, and a separate dining area make the space ideal for entertaining guests. The primary suite is also luxurious, featuring a beach stone floor in the adjoining bathroom with a standing shower and deep soaking tub. There’s also a small bunk room, and the family room can sleep two. A second deck off the kitchen is the perfect spot for eating breakfast in a beautiful outdoor setting.
Potential buyers will be happy to know that the Carousel Suite is also part of Ocean House’s rental program, so if they’re willing to give up that view for the summer …
“In the summer, it generates a ton of revenue when the homeowners are not in residence,” said Simmons, who added that even with the homeowner living there for most of August, the suite generated more than $140,000 last year.
The unit comes with two designated parking spaces and membership in Ocean House Club, which includes access to the beach, clubroom, croquet lawns, putting green, movie theater, catering services, special member parties, and discounts on purchases.
Take the video tour.

NAME: Nicholas “Nic” Rubio GENDER & PRONOUNS: Cis Man / He/Him AGE & DATE OF BIRTH: 35 years old / February 4th HOMETOWN: Dallas, TX TIME IN WESTERLY: 4 years RESIDENCE: Misquamicut OCCUPATION: Unemployed
TAKES ONE TO KNOW ONE, YOU’RE A    ——      cowboy like me.
Trigger Warnings: pregnancy, stealing, car accident, death.
How someone like Nic could come from two of the most loving and nurturing people around is a still a mystery for his parents, though Nic has done anything but wonder. He knows what they would say about him if they could see him now, what happened to their sweet boy? He was supposed to have a happy life; a good and honest life. It all went downhill the moment he had his first taste of freedom.
He was a sheltered kid, his mom didn’t even let him ride his bike with just friends until he was fourteen. His parents didn’t let him do any contact sports out of fear that he’d get hurt. He was an extension of his mother and father.
His life was perfect until it literally wasn’t. A car accident left his mother and father dead, and a newly orphaned Nic found himself in a foster home with nine other boys. It wasn’t fair. It wasn’t fair how someone running a red light took him away from his parents and everything he had known. He vowed that he’d get out of there, and make something of himself. It wasn’t like the state cared about him once he turned eighteen. He hit the ground running once high school graduation came around, attending Kansas State University. He had loans, but still had unexpected day to day expenses. And that’s where it all began.
Some people are naturals at being a fraud and a crook, but for Nic, it took some time. He had no idea what he was doing, getting taken under the wing of an older man that pitied him. He was always told to frequent different locations, and hotels were a good place to start. It was a revolving door of visitors where people wouldn’t catch on. And so he’d wait at the hotel bar, using a sly smile and a charming tongue to lure his oblivious targets back to their hotel room, stealing their money and belongings. He pawned the belongings off, using that extra money for food. The lifestyle became addicting, and soon Nic had a degree with very little to show for it. Instead, he had his fair share of partners in crime, moving around from state to state.
He stumbled upon Westerly and he only intended to stay for a matter of weeks, if that. He could never stay in one place for too long before locals became suspecting of his antics. This time it was different, however. He had to stay.
Having a kid should’ve changed the course of his actions, but it didn’t. It just meant that he had a reason to work harder against his targets, and to not get caught while having to stay in Rhode Island. It created quite a challenge, and it still is. But he’ll be damned if he can’t provide for his son and give him a stable home environment, even if that means staying put in a town he had no intentions of sticking around in, he’ll suck it up and make sure that his tricks don’t get tracked back to him.
