Wes Gordon admitted that he was also inspired by the series "Empress" - a Netflix production about the Austrian Empress Sisi or Elizabeth of Bavaria and costumes from the Habsburg era created for the series by Gabriela Reumer. He was delighted by the combination of what he called romance and rigor, military discipline and wealth.

Wes Gordon przyznał, że inspirował się także serialem „Cesarzowa” – produkcją Netflixa o austriackiej cesarzowej Sisi czyli Elżbiecie Bawarskiej i kostiumami z epoki Habsburgów które dla serialu stworzyła Gabriela Reumer. Zachwyciło go połączenie – jak się wyraził – romansu i rygoru, wojskowej dyscypliny i bogactwa. Po tej „bogatej” stronie kolekcji znajdowały się m.in. czarna, krótka kurtka i spodnie ze złotymi wykończeniami oraz podobnie wykończona królewska czarna suknia z długimi rękawami. @alexis_forte_costumes July 24th I got married to my best friend. It was at a castle on the beach in Estoril where I grew up, close friends and family gathered from all around the globe in this little town to celebrate us, a dear friend officiated, we had the only mariachi band in Lisbon play!! It was all around perfect! @wesgordon lent me the most magical dress for this setting. It felt like a fairytale. I can’t believe I got this experience and moment to relish and celebrate our love @raulcastillo. 10 years together and it’s just the start. Couldn’t be happier to spend my life with you Raúl 💗
