hello! we have a question, no worries if you cant answer or anything :3 but uh, we downloaded weave chat!!! yayyay!!! we’re wondering if you guys know how to like,, edit or delete the premade words? we want to have all custom images ^^’

Sadly can’t delete but what we did is Make New Board and then hide all presets except Topics and put all folders in topics ( also make sure to hide the one button in topics :3 )!

You can hide images by going in Board Builder and holding on button you want hidden ( also just hiding buttons visible on board is good , no need to hide ones in folder )

How you make own images / folders is go into setting and click button editor

And either click images ( if just want regular button ) or click catagories if want a folder :3

OH AND IF NEED GOOD SIGHT TO FIND CUSTOM IMAGE CHECK OUT AACIL

I made this using AAC to show that AAC is beautiful and a wonderful tool. I think AAC should be normalized and celebrated.

Does anyone know how to use Weave chat? We finally downloaded it and it’s so confusing, how do I edit things? How do I make a board??? Help please

we are a autistic disabled DID system with a AAC users in the system. we use CoughDrop and Text To Speech on our ipad tablet device to communicate. we are looking at other free AAC apps.

Thank you so so much @/kpopwerewolf for helping explain Coughdrop, we just downloaded it and it is SO ocpd-brain happy, we can build it from scratch and organize it how our brain likes and have it neat instead of needing to add the individual blocks and reusing them (Weave Chat's button adding flaw)

Then I do share > share as text > copy, and share> share as image > Tumblr post

Then I paste the text into the post under the image

I am useing AAC phone app to write this wow I really like weave chat but I am slow at finding words

no daily words today because AAC is making us really frustrated. We tried using CoughDrop but then our words delete and then we try using Weavechat and we have a new layout but it is not right and has not saved how we want it and we are not happy and just want to sleep

I made aac board but think 6x12 is actually too bug because looked at other apps besides weave chat and like bugger boards but those app have smaller sentence and recommend bars so have more room

Might try cough drop but expensive and scared waste money and need wait for it on sale anyways. Hard to try apps when not able sample features, wish had SLP sometimes

the first thing you see when you open your eyes are colors. so. many. colors, all in dancing in your vision like a colorful array of gemstones. it's beautiful, and wonderful, and Archons it makes you dizzy so for a moment you just close your eyes and sit there in the quiet cavern, relishing the sudden silence. where you were slashed and stabbed and eventually slain still ache, but the pain slowly fades as you lay there in the dim light, intermittently opening your eyes and squeezing them shut again to get used to the new vibrancy of the world around you. you reach your arms up to give them a good stretch, stiff all over, and are greeted by a pair of colorful mittens rather than fingers and human hands

you freeze, holding yourself back from screaming when you take a look at your legs, all covered in swirling patterns almost dusted with tiny, shimmering stars

Autistic Odysseus headcanon time

He's the total opposite of Diomedes.

For example, he has mastered the arts of social clues.

Why he is a so good liar ? Bc all of his reactions actually are lies.

Even when his feelings and thoughts are sincere, what he shows (facial expressions, tones, body language...) are all consciously made up to look more "normal". So it's pretty much impossible to tell if he's sincere

Picky eater. He would rather starve than eat any of his no-foods.

Blood is a sensory hell (sticky + warm is a horrible combination) so not only he's usually the first one to the baths but also he will do pretty much anything to avoid getting blood on him

Eyes contact is horrible. He will do anything to avoid making eye contact (and if he rly has to, then he's gonna be terribly awkward)

He has echolalia but will gaslight anyone who points it out ("wdym, I didn't say anything")

Masking so much all day long (although "acting normal" has became a habit and he's barely aware of doing effort anymore) is actually exhausting and every day he needs a little "time out" when he's alone (or with someone he's comfortable with, but not directly interacting) to cool down properly. (Which tends to take on his hours of sleep. For example during Troy the war councils sometimes lasted until late in the night, and once back to his tent he still needed his calm time before being able to fall asleep)

When he gets overwhelmed he tends to go nonverbal, and to shut down if it gets too bad.
