I recently met a handsome little baby. With a father known to be hateful, sexist, racist, egotostical and materialistic. I try to look for and encourage the good in everyone, but in this case year after year I have seen nothing but disrespect and hate. I feel sad for his life for the most part and more for this innocent childs future. For the last week the words this man said in reference to his newborn son keep echoing threw my mind. "I WILL MAKE HIM A BEAST!!" This is what he told a room full of people on a Sunday that he would normaly have been coming from church. Which only resonates even more deeply with me since in the Christian bible time and time again God refers to Satan, as a Beast! Why wish this on your child? Why when looking at the innocence of a baby think, one day he will be a beast? Why not, he will be a leader, a healer, a protector, a teacher, a lover of all things, a hero, an amazing caring husband, a loving father, a commpassionate man and a role model for others. These are the qualities we desperatly need in this world!
