Don and Luigi left their babies playing downstairs and headed to the Lothario mansion’s private studio to record a PrimSim cosmetic endorsement.

Luigi had been stockpiling ideas for his next family promo ever since the first two had gone so well. Before entering the studio, he stopped to tell his great grandfather about some of the scenes he really wanted to work into this video, but Don interrupted him after only a few sentences.

“Those are all clever concepts, but you’ve got to remember that endorsements aren’t theater: nobody wants to hear scripted dialog and see special effects.” The ancient mage stepped back to wiggle his magical sparkling fingers before stepping in to clap a hand on his grandson’s shoulder.

“My promos have won acclaim for centuries, and it’s all about keeping it real. Just focus on having fun trying these products with your Grandpa Don.”

It was hard for the self-centered Luigi to take Don’s advice at first, but the older sim quicky broke the ice.

“I probably should have modeled this before I stuffed myself with a holiday feast,” he said as he spun into a ridiculous floral print mankini. “But we all worry about looking our best at the beach. Fortunately, PrimSims waterproof tinted sunscreen is just the thing to smooth out my tan lines.”

Arriving back on the island Noemi busied herself getting Skye ready for bed while Luigi spun into his PJs and went to upload his video footage.

“I’ll just cut a really quick rough draft with some of the best bits while they’re fresh in my memory” he said to himself, trying to justify immediately violating his promise to his fiancée to stay off the computer after spending so much time streaming with Denton earlier in the day.

“I can’t leave it looking like this!” the perfectionist murmured, steadfastly ignoring the painful ache in his mousing hand as he concentrated on edit after edit, rapidly shaping the promotion closer to his exacting specifications. Eventually his guilt got the better of him, and he went to find Noemi.

Luigi discovered why Noemi hadn’t caught him being naughty when he entered the bedroom to find her all dressed up to be a bit “naughty” herself.

She frowned with suspicion as he slipped his brace on but quickly converted it into a pouty expression. “Oh no, you’ve hurt yourself!” Her lover played along, changing his grin into a grimace while cradling his wrist protectively against his chest “Afraid so. I’m in sooo much pain and just don’t know what to do.”

As he eagerly complied with the “special healing technique” she promised would have him feeling much better in no time, Luigi reflected that Harvestfest had been a roaring success. With their wedding coming up soon, he looked forward to much more of the same in the days to come.

You can't do it, no matter how rich your boss is, or how much he was paying you, you refuse to dive into open water

It was supposed to be the most relaxing boat ride to an island off the coast. The water was beautiful, everything was absolutely fine until those words came out his mouth, "Grab your gear kid! and get ready to jump! this is a good place to start the shoot", not even looking up from his tiny monitor, the motor of the boat even seems to quiet down when he speaks.

"Excuse.... me" You say confused by all means, although you didn't get any but a flick of that man's hand in return, your body somewhat moved on its own as an assistant held diving gear for you to put on.

Once you had on your gear, a full scuba diving fit along with your waterproof camera with extra lenses, the assistant guided you towards the open door of the jet, that is how only a few fet above the water. It seemed to be going in circles to try to stay in the area that your boss said was good.

"We need you to take pictures for the Reef Coral corporation, they want to show the land species all the new updates to their little kingdom, they want humans to understand the ocean as much as they do outer space" your boss said, it wasn't hard to understand, there were a few merfolk that worked in your branch, they always had something to say about how humans waisted their time and money trying to go to space while they don't even know what lurks in their waters.

It was a simple job, just take pictures of the wildlife and the cities mainly the ones that have airways for human tourist. The merfolk have been trying to show the human species the wonders of the ocean and yet they are only interested in the things that are neverending.

What you didn't expect was to have to physically go and swim around to take the photos, the lab that is sponsored by your job even made something called 'Spider eel drones', some weird waterproof robot that looks like a moray eel and has multiple camera eyes all over it's body. It's job was to take pictures in high density waters, your boss had told you.

So, with a sigh, you grab the emergency inflatable raft, making sure it was strapped to your gear and hoped out of the aircraft. You did sign a contract after all, this job will pay you a lot and you will continue to earn money for it the more it sells, this is a great opportunity for you.

The water was cold, you couldn't physically feel it on most of your body, but it was still there. The water was clear and the sea floor was covered in life, coral rose from the ground and brought color to the area. You could see a tube it seemed to be travelling towards a large beautiful Coral City that had a glass dome located in the center of the town.

Why they didn't just let you travel through the tube to the city, you don't know why, but you made your way to the beautiful area. Flashes of beautiful reds, blues and pinks in the coral made wonderful photos when taken, like the reef was photogenic.

The merfolk of the city were kind but curious, some slightly couscous of the stranger in their waters. Though they saw that you were no harm and left you be.

After about ten minutes of taking pictures of the beautiful city, you notice that there are a few fish swimming around and grouping together to form colorful schools. You aim your camera to them making sure your flash was off, not wanting to stun the poor creatures, and took multiple pictures of the animals in their natural habitat.

You figured I'd be nice to keep taking pictures of the fish in the area, so you swam around the city looking for more.

Coming up to a beautiful red coral structure It was slightly larger than most of them, you cout see a beautifully colored tailfin, deciding that even if you can't see the full fish it is still beautiful enough to photograph, you aim your camera to the tail and snap a picture.

The sound of the camera seemed to alert the fish as it's tail disappeared behind the coral. Sadly you couldn't get more pictures of it. You look at the picture you just took of it and sighed softly.

"It's quite ride to take pictures of someone without their permission." You jumped at the sound of someone's voice, turning around you see a beautiful man with lovely blue hair that faded into orange, looking further down you took notice that his tail matched the one in the photo you took.

"Oh! I'm sorry, I thought you were on of the stray fishes swimming around, no offense..." You say, your voice slightly changed by the mask, your nerves flare believing that you angered one of the merfolk that lived in these waters.

"None taken, I'd gladly be your model" The mer teased, he swam a bit lower on the coral to a circle shapes hole and sat inside as if ready to pose for the pictures, "Is this a good angle?" He says, tilting his head off to the side, holding his head up high and closing his eyes.

He looked absolutely breathtaking, although you can't necessarily say that, seeing as though you just met him.

"Uh, sure" you respond and swim down to a reasonable level and take a picture, then changing the angle for another.

He seemed to like having the camera on him even when swimming to a new spot he made sure to do it majestically as to let you get in a few more pictures.

The day was filled with beautiful pictures taken until you ran out of film, then talking and swimming until your legs started to hurt.

"Say, I never asked you what your name was, I'm (Y/N)" You said, now on your bright red inflated raft, waiting for your boss to come pick you up.

"Oh, my name is Metao, your name is beautiful, just like you" is words made you flustered slightly, with a chuckle you thank Metao.

Before the conversation could continue the sound of a speedboat's roaring engine could be heard, only a few minutes later a sleek black speedboat with gold ascents pulls up beside your raft, your boss in the driver's seat.

"Common kid, you can talk to your boyfriend some other time!" The joyous old man said causing a blush to creep up on both you and Metao's faces.

With you now seated and strapped in, you waved to Mateo as your boss turns the boat around and drives back to shore.

Bruce gets the notification just as he leaves for a lunch meeting. He's not exactly foaming at the mouth over the meeting, so he doesn't mind the quick detour. There's an empty conference room just two steps away. No one's going to be questioning Brucie Wayne for being a little late after all.

As he unlocks his phone, he expects a text from Selina or Alfred. There's likely some appointment or date he's missing, he supposes. But to his great pleasure, he finds a notification for a new YouTube video.

He rushes to click on it, barely even reading the title that teeters off from how long it is.

The first thing that loads is a scream that follows a close-up of Jason's face. The next moment, the shot is entirely submerged in water. Jason swims to the surface, hair wet but sporting an ear-to-ear grin.

Bruce feels himself smiling just the same.

"Get in here, Roy! Don't back out now!"

"I'm the cameraman!" Roy shouts from the top of the cliff Jason just jumped off of.

"I'm getting Roy to join me this weekend. Mark my words," Jason says conspiratorially to the camera.

The video jump cuts to Jason and Roy in their hotel room. Bruce immediately recognizes the view. He and Damian video-called while Jason was staying in this very room. This must be from three weeks ago. Jason was entirely mum about what he was doing in Croatia, however. "You'll have to watch our video," he teased.

Bruce can't say he's entirely happy about seeing his son do extreme sports. Much less that he's filming it all for content online. But he will admit that he's grateful that he gets to see Jason so carefree and enjoying his life to the fullest.

Maybe he'll even make a trip out to visit the boys' next destination. He'll say that it's completely by coincidence, of course. He's got a multitude of excuses to choose from. Bruce just... he just misses his son, and Jason and Roy aren't scheduled back in Gotham for another few months.

He and Oliver were more than happy to let the boys mess around the world and travel, expanding their horizons. Somehow, recording these videos for their families to watch ended up becoming a pretty popular YouTube thing for them. Roy's a magnificent filmmaker and Jason's got next to no fear with every new adventure they try.

Bruce sighs. He'd still like to see his son more often. Selina calls it 'empty nest syndrome', but he staunchly denies it. He'd just like to have a full house again rather than just a few kids coming in and out of the manor.

"I'll do that thing you like if you jump with me," Jason says with half-lidded eyes.

Roy laughs and pushes Jason's face away from him.

"Come on, babe. Our families watch these videos!"

"Hey," Jason shrugs. "You're the one editing these bad boys."

Jason sneaks in a quick peck before making his move. He wraps his arms around Roy from behind and pushes them both over the cliff. Bruce figures that Roy's screams alone would've caused a tsunami.

"The equipment!"

Bruce chuckles as he continues watching. He remains in awe over the drone shots over the ocean and beach. They play alongside Jason's clear narration over the b-rolls. It gives the video an almost professional television quality to it. Bruce might recommend some voice-acting work for Jason when he returns. He has some talent for it.

"Mr. Wayne," he pauses the video as his head snaps to the door opening. "You have a lunch meeting with Mr. Kord."

"Of course, I'll be a minute. Thank you."

Checking the video's runtime, he decides that he can watch the rest of it on the way home. In the meantime, he sends Jason a message asking him where he'll be next week. Maybe he'll even take one of the other kids with him.

I know little about the twelfth-century temple complex in Cambodia. I've seen grainy nineteenth-century photographs and talked with architects who've visited. I remember the gorgeous footage from In the Mood for Love, in which Hong Kong film start Tony Leung wanders the grounds alone, in silence, running his hands along the stone, summoning a long-ago heartbreak that will shadow his entire life. The place obliges. It's sensual and severe, ancient and embracing, with chambers and corners in which to hide.

A smart video from the Worlds Monuments Fund goes a way to dismiss the romanticism. Drone footage highlights the vastness of the site and its lush watery surrounds.
