Australia's highest permanent single drop waterfall. . Stoney Creek takes a 268m drop over Wallaman Falls and often halfway down the light off the mist makes a beautiful rainbow effect. . You can gaze at its beauty from the lookout or take the 4km round trek to the bottom through some stunning rainforest. . Girringun National Park where this stunner exists sits in the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. . Happy Adventures and Safe Travels. Hope to see you out there 🤙👍 _________________________________ Kept on the road thanks to @marknixonautomotive . Use code: JURS10 for 10% off at checkout with @hikeit_performance . Another 2 days visit to Greenville with gorgeous weather, means we have to make a stop at one of our favorite places to stretch our legs. Something about walking around Greenville, SC, and visiting Falls Park on the Reedy just energizes me! If we didn’t call Kentucky home, we’d be hard-pressed to not live here!

The Timeless Beauty of Living Root Bridges: Nature's Masterpiece.
The living root bridge—a marvel that's not built in a day, or even a year, but over many, many decades!
The process of building a living root bridge starts with planting Ficus Elastica on either side of the stream. Like most things in nature, time plays a huge role for the roots to be long and strong enough to be guided across the river.
Once the roots get long enough, they are twisted together and guided across the stream with the help of a bamboo or a wooden bridge, one that needs to be repaired and fixed multiple times over the decades that it takes for the roots to reach the other side.
Once the roots are strong enough, to take the weight of people walking on them, these bridges can finally be called a living root bridge!
Check out this incredible sketch of the double decker living root bridge by @divin_div

Happy World Tourism Day!
