Kunlun Zhao Yunlan & Shen Wei, inspired by the beautiful work To wild uncharted waters by @the-marron . I started it months ago and it could remain buried in my art wips, but @meluci-fer can be pretty persuasive and now it's finished. Marron, I hope you don't mind me painting, but I read your fics and the art is already in my head before I finish the thing...
Long short story, I read this fic at least 3 times, but I started painting right after finishing the first reading. I'm not surprised that is one of Marron's stories that sparked my desire to paint. It happened many times before, but not every time I was brave enough to put ink to paper. Luci would throw me off a cliff if I didn't finish and post the art now that she's also read the fic.
This is an A3 painting (big thing), so the little guys are smaller than you think and in trad. art is nearly impossible (at least to me) to make them look perfect. But I try to make them look cute, at least.

I like these ones better. In the daytime the colors are brighter, but also glossier and harder to photograph.
