marathoned the entirity of detentionaire because I was feeling nostalgic, I'd forgotten how fun these characters were and how interesting the plot was. I wish the show had gotten another season.

Ep 11 of Banana Fish was so beautiful!

I'm watching this anime, I was intrigued by the title taken from a Salinger story.

At first I wasn't very convinced, I had read good opinions about it, so I had some expectations.

But I persisted and I found the last few episodes to be very good.

This one in particular alternated between extremely funny and more profound moments, which I really appreciated.

The Idea of You is just awful. I seriously think it could be used as a torture device. But this one line was so hilariously dumb that I had to pause the movie for a good 10 minutes because I was laughing so hard and just couldn’t stop. So I had to make it a gif. Now every time I see Nicholas, all I can think about is that line, so I’m gonna use this gif against his photos from now on.

I'm just amused by the usage of de-aging filters in this opening to keep the corpse of an old school white male pulp adventurer lead going.

Every time Gammamon cries and suffers, I also cry and suffer ｡⁠:ﾟ⁠(⁠;⁠´⁠∩⁠`⁠;⁠)ﾟ⁠:⁠｡

Like, yes we finally understand a lot of things wrapped up in one episode but, I don't think I'll forgive Hokuto for not "warning" sooner about the possible outcomes since, I doubt he wasn't aware of Gulus.

And the cliffhanger, oh my god.

AND TO BOOT, I'M NOT READY TO WHATEVER THE FINAL EPISODE HAS IN STORE and I'm gonna miss Ghost Game a lot.

To be honest, I wasn't sure about watching this week's episode because I don't want it to end yet; I've been enjoying this trip so much, I wish we had at least one month more ಥ⁠_⁠ಥ

Also, too bad I was wrong about Hokuto being the final boss xD and a part of me genuinely though Gulus would be some kind of anti-hero/last hope to defeat the villain; end up being the edgy villain final boss.

Lastly, bless Sawashiro Miyuki-san for her amazing performance as Regulusmon (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠)

It's actually hilarious that Moriarty is so territorial over Joan and Sherlock, that she assassinates the person who tried to kill Joan. Also the letter she writes Joan is a LOVE letter and you can't convince me otherwise.

Also every episode just makes me so emotional over Joan&Sherlock, they are the brotp of life. I am so happy the writers never made them romantic in any way. They are platonic soulmates.

So I've been watching Batman Beyond and let me tell you, until I was scrolling through the Terry McGinnis tag and found screenshots? I had no idea that was where the "Do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down?" reaction image was from–

So I'm watching it today and my sister sees Blight and goes "Oh, are you that part now?" And I say "Nah, not yet I don't think, he's just a main big bad." And then?

Apparently it's in the same episode! I called my sister over to watch it too–

I dunno why I'm so excited about this, it's just super neat to see that moment in context I guess?
