Biography in her Own Words: I am The Sumia Of Emblem Warriors AKA Warrior Sunia to Outrealm Travelers. I fell in love with Warrior Gaius. Then I Met Warrior Cynthia. Then Warrior-Robcina made Warrior Morgan Join us after going to Ruins Of Time as well as Warrior Marc And Warrior Artmond Appear on the enemy's side. After Facing Warrior Lucina’s Judgement, Warrior Warrior Robin Proposed to her. Then Warrior Cia Started to Invade Warrior Hyrule. We battled Warrior Cia’s Forces alongside The Warrior Hylians. Then Warrior Cia’s Forces mysteriously got stronger and the Grima FE Army apppeared but Warrior Cia didn’t treat them as allies. The Warrior Shepherds And Warrior Link were sent to check it out with Light Male Robin, Light Lucina, Light Morgan, and Light Marc.  We find out Warrior-Sakura-X-Warrior-Elise are the leaders of Warrior Hylia's Chosen.  Then we stop Warrior Phantom Ganon.  Then we continue our battle against Validar In “Christmas In Warrior Emblem”.

Let’s talk how about Chrom and Robin’s bond evolved over time

With everyone clamoring over the new emblem I wanted to take a look back how we got here with their relationship and why I think at this point Chrobin is the intended or inferred Chrom pairing when it didn’t used to be.

In 2012 we got Fire Emblem Awakening, and as Chrom was related to Marth, his inferred pairing was Sumia a pegasus knight as a nod to Caeda, Marth’s canon wife. Granted because part of Awakening’s charm is you could pair anyone up, you didn’t have to pair Chrom up with Sumia if you didn’t wish to. But to IS she was the intended choice.

She had special scenes with Chrom and was the most likely to end up paired with him if you weren’t gunning for a specific wife for him

And you see her here in the opening with Lucina

Robin is you, the avatar, they don’t even have official art, just them with a hood

They had a canon design what we all know now but it wasn’t really used. And that should have been it as far as IS was concerned. Awakening was their last hurrah. And then FE blew up.

Robin’s canon design is now getting used, both the male and female version are now in Smash Bros. Then we have Warriors and Heroes and the Awakening cast shows up more. But not Sumia. Perhaps it’s because she’s not popular or the people flocked to Cordelia instead but she is the pegusus knight everyone loves. Sumia isn’t even in Warriors or the base FEH she gets added much later to FEH only with other less popular Awakening characters.

It’s here when FE became more maintstream I believe that IS changed their tune on Sumia being the intended wife and retconed it. I fully think Sumia was dropped and they no longer had an intended pairing for him all because she just wasn’t popular. Him and Robin were close of course they always were, obviously some would see it as friendship others would see it as something more the usual nothing really changed there.

And then 2022 ten full years after Awakening’s release...this happened

Couple things here. I fully believe the reason Chrom was paired with MRobin here instead of FRobin is for two big reasons reasons.

1) If they paired him with FRobin it canonizes a pairing so MRobin is the safer option, FEH doesn’t usually pair men and women unless they’re already a pairing. So MRobin got paired with Chrom and FRobin was on her own but she still has lines about how much Chrom meant to her.

2) MRobin is the more popular Robin as has been shown every year in CYL and he’d even win next year

So Chrom and Robin were always close it was a no brainer to make them a duo unit, they picked the male version on a very family oriented banner.

That said some of these lines...well let’s just say if a man and a woman were saying that to each other there would be no doubt here. Imagine if this Robin was the female version

Robin: There's Lissa, Emmeryn, Lucina, Frederick... I think we've got gifts for everyone. Don't we? Chrom: Well, all but one. What would you like your gift to be, Robin? Robin: What? Me? You can't just come out and ask like that, you know. There are rules! Chrom: You know I don't care about that. Just tell me what you want. Robin: Truthfully...I can't think of anything. Chrom: You don't want anything? Aw, come on. Think of the bind that puts me in. Robin: You gave my life meaning when I had nothing—not even my memory. The sense of purpose I've found at your side, working for peace in the world, is all I could ever ask for. Chrom: You're not alone in that, you know. I feel the same way. That's why I wanted to give you something nice. To show you how I feel. Robin: All right, all right. In that case, why don't you give me one of those flowers you're wearing? Chrom: It's only going to wilt. Robin: I'll press it into one of my books. That way I'll never forget this Day of Devotion.

Snippet from their duo convo. Usually when someone gives flowers it’s considered a pretty romantic gesture I’ve heard plenty of people call this alt playfully the gays and yeah this is very strong.

FRobin even comments on them in one of her lines.

“That man with Chrom is a Robin from another world, right? They get along so well, I'm almost jealous...“

There was no need for that line at all, we can tell from their lines how flipping close they are but they felt the need to have another character comment on it in base lines

I do believe MRobin was used not to canonize a pairing...at first. And then they gave up because it looked like people really liked it going even further in the next year.

In Awakening Chrom and Robin refer to themselves as two halves of the same whole which is already a loaded term. But it’s never been used after and was just part of the game

Enter the next time they pair up as the Emblem of Bonds which brought that back for the first time since 2012, in full force

Correct me if I’m wrong but no one besides them have referred to each other as their other half in Awakening

Lucina does it in Engage. For reference other half means husband, wife or partner (romantic). I think after the Valentine’s alt they decided sure why not and now they’re really going in with Robin being Chrom’s other half when they only touched the term once past Awakening in a FRobin cipher card. Other half in Engage is Robin and he pops up when engaged with Chrom to mix magic with the attack. I don’t doubt you can mean a friend with this term but when paired with everything else they say to each other, it’s pretty strong evidence it’s further than friendship.

Okay now for the the ultimate Robin is now Chrom’s intended partner view, Legendary Robin also released this year

I saw some people argue exalt could mean Lucina too but no it doesn’t, it clearly means Chorm it says so and if you didn’t believe that, we got a map that was the two called Chrom and his other half. Which is Robin.

His art also references his other half status, he now wears blueish green jewelry which stands for Chrom and the brand of the exalt is on his chest plate

Finally in his damage art he once again has the symbol of the exalt formed in magic.

And a ring, some have argued it’s his clothes but usually the magic gauntlets he wears are on his middle finger and not under his gloves; pretty sure it’s a ring, it’s even on the ring finger of his left hand, where you generally put a wedding ring.

All this together is some very strong evidence, but put it with everything else they’ve done since last year and it’s clear to me, IS now is pushing Chrom and Robin as the intended pairing. Not canon like Marth and Caeda or Alm and Celica, but intended like they do with Eliwood and Ninian and some others I’m probably forgetting. And because MRobin is who they use and their “canon” sort of like FCorrin is the “canon” Corrin, IS is strongly hinting at MChrobin

Which fascinates me, we went from Chrom with a intended implied wife to scrapping it and pretended it never happened to this, Chrom with an intended husband. Him and his best friend, both two guys, very much in love. In ten years IS changed it’s mind on the intended canon pairing that isn’t even possible in the base game. They are a fate defying duo, the emblem of bonds, the exalt and his other half, two halves of the same whole and they are showing that in symbolism harder than ever. I think that’s really cool

To end this I’m aroace and see romance a little differently from the amatonormic norm Chrom and Robin could just be really good friends lord knows I also think friendship should be just as important as romance BUT if they were, it’s very clear they are each others most important person over any wife they might separately have.  But even that doesn’t follow a typical heteronormative relationship no? Chrom and Robin’s bonds are so strong they transcend the concept of romance and friendship as we know it, there is no name for the type of love they share it’s beyond us.

But what about Lucina? (and Morgan) In a world with magic, dragons, people dying and coming back to life, time travel and more the idea of two guys somehow having a child is no longer far fetched at all really, or even surrogates exist.

Now granted IS could remake Awakening and MRobin will still not be able to marry Chrom and this whole analysis would have been for naught but I think if they do remake it they’ll add it. Look at how many people have been introduced to them just through Heroes and Engage you don’t think people are going to want to pair up the exalt and his other half in their game?

To sum it up, yes there literally is no heterosexual explanation for where IS has taken this. It wasn’t originally the intended pairing but it sure is now, I don’t think there is any room for denial anymore until we see what they do with a remake.

Who was your first ever Blorbo, who was your childhood Blorbo, and are they still your Blorbo?

I thought about this all day. I considered a Warrior Cat but I don't think any of them got to blorbo level. I considered childhood cartoons but couldn't remember enough to place any of the characters even though I know there was some glasses boy character I liked. It's always a glasses boy.

So I think the earliest I can remember is probably Nico DiAngelo??? Probably?? I haven't read any of the more recent books he's been in though :(

I think my earliest super intense blorbo was Chrom though. I'm not sure I'd truly give anyone else the Blorbo title before him he genuinely changed my life and not necessarily in a good or bad way. Just like. I probably wouldn't be on Tumblr or playing so many games if not for him.

What’s the one thing the fandom gets wrong about your Blorbo?

I thought SO long about this. I do have Dio Opinions but nothing I could articulate. HOWEVER. I'm going to talk about Love Live now. So Ruby is the youngest member of Aqours and she's got a baby voice and she's afraid of everything and she's so cutesified all the time. And maybe this is more the actual text not doing what I want than fanon, but it's so so important to me that Ruby is stronger than it seems. She grew up in a strict family and one of the first things we learned about her was that she cut her hair! Against her parents will! She contrasts so strongly with her sister (Dia) who is the Perfect Daughter (in appearances anyway). Ruby is rebellious!! Ruby is shy but she puts that aside and can do big things for herself!

Also her song Cotton Candy Ei-Ei-Oh kind of overshadowed her actual character because it's silly and iconic and popular. But I actually am kind of for it. I like seeing Ruby be silly. I like showing that she is more than the shy trope. Anyway I don't think anyone talks about the Ruby haircut lore and I think they should.

Do you ship your Blorbo with any character?

I'm going to keep talking about Chrom because I'm not sure I've talked about my thoughts on his pairings a lot?

I used to marry him most of the time. And I do like him with Robin! I do! However I just don't love it the way I used to. I like the version of them that I had and don't tend to vibe with a lot of the fanon depictions if that makes sense. So lately I have been liking Chrom with Olivia (ur influcence) and I really do enjoy him with Gaius!! Thank u Gay Awakening! Gaius's dad interactions with Lucina are too cute. He's not my favorite for Sumia but I have warmed to them together too. And tbh I think Chrom and Sully is super underrated!!! I like him w Maribelle too but I don't remember if that was bc of the supports or just the idea of Maribelle marrying into the family before I had the gay mod.

Do you think this character will still be your Blorbo three years from now on?

I am answering this one about Dio because it's something I wonder a lot. 3 years is a lot in blorbo time!!! I'm not even 3 years into One Piece yet though I would consider them my blorbos still (Kobymeppo + Tashigi + Viola <3). And I think Dio will last because of how hard he hit me. And it was like a BAD hyperfixation for 2 solid months. Like "can't get thru a conversation without thinking about Dio and I'm going to go home and watch the same 3 hours of Dio moments" bad. But it also comes down to if I continue all the way through JoJo's. I have not made progress because I have only been playing My Time at Sandrock 💀

It was totally obvious that you had fallen head over heels for Vaike. Somehow, that brute had wiggled his way into the heart of the brilliant tactician. 

He was surprisingly sweet and charming when he wasn’t being a bonehead, and when you got to know him beyond the bluster of an axe-swinging warrior…well, you knew he was the one.

He made you feel safe, and happy, and assured. You knew you’d made the right choice. There was only one thing you had doubts about.

The impending evening following your wedding.

You didn’t know how to do anything after the party would be over. Your honeymoon was going to follow shortly after, and you didn’t know what to do on your honeymoon! You were an amnesiac; so if you had any experience with intimacy, it was long forgotten.

Worse yet, any knowledge you might have had before you filled your head with tactics and fighting styles…well, there just wasn’t anything left. 

To be honest, you were starting to doubt how on earth you’d managed to entice a man enough that he’d want to marry you.

These were thoughts that had been rushing about your mind for a while, but you had pushed them away and instead focused really hard on the more important details of the wedding.

But now there was no more planning, no more invitations to send, no more food to try (much to Vaike’s chagrin). 

Now you were being fitted into your dress, you were less than an hour from your ceremony, and…all you could think about was the fear of disappointing your future husband.

The women of your Shepherds were your maids of honor. And they were currently helping you get ready.

While you were sitting like a lovely porcelain doll, Maribelle, Sumia and Cordelia were working tirelessly to finish your hair and check the fit of your dress.

Lissa, Nowi and Panne were discussing food options; namely, which ones would disgust the Taguel woman the least.

Tharja and Miriel were most interested in your jewelry, checking the makeup of the metals for authenticity…and which would be the sturdiest when she enchanted them with protective charms.

All of the chaotic happiness and chittering of your dear friends should have been enough to distract you. But unfortunately, you were just getting deeper and deeper into your thoughts.

You felt isolated in your thoughts, and you’d be lying if you tried to think otherwise.

“Robin?” Cordelia’s voice touched your ear, “Did you hear me?”

“Hm?” You looked to her, “Did you say something?”

“I asked if the dress felt too tight here.” Her fingers brushed your side, “Does it fit comfortably?”

“As comfortably as a wedding dress can, I suppose.” You managed to pull together a response, “It’s not meant to give me a lot of movement, right?”

“That’s correct.” Maribelle nodded, her curls bouncing happily as she worked. “The purpose of your wedding gown is to make you look as stunning and gorgeous as possible; to display all of your beauty to the world! But, most importantly, to show your husband just how lucky a man he is.”

“He should already know- to think that Vaike of all people is marrying our Robin!” Sumia giggled, “He’s the last person I would have thought you’d fall for.”

“We certainly are different people, aren’t we?” You smiled weakly, looking at your hands. “I…do hope he’s pleased when he sees me.”

"Pleased won’t begin to cover it!” Maribelle clicked her tongue, “If that man’s jaw isn’t on the floor the second he sees you, then he won’t be worthy of you at all! You’re stunning, Robin. He’s far more lucky to have you than the other way around.”

“Come on now, that’s not fair. Vaike’s really a wonderful man. I’m…I’m really happy that he chose me.”

“I think you’re both perfect for each other.” Coredlia agreed, “You’ve made Vaike a better person in the short time you’ve known him. He’s changed a lot, and I think you’re the one we should thank for that. The less perverted, more compassionate and charming Vaike is a welcome improvement.”

“Ugh. ‘Charming’ isn’t a word I would ever associate with that brute.” Maribelle huffed, sliding another pin into your hair. “But it matters not. You chose him dear, and if that’s the man you want, then I will do everything in my power to make sure he knows just how good he’s got it.”

"Which reminds me-” Sumia slips away, going over to her satchel on the chair and producing a small parcel. “Sully and I were out shopping the other day, gathering up the last things we needed for your wedding. And well…we stopped by this particular store, where….”

“Just give her the present and let her see what it is!” Sully grinned and strode over upon the mention of her name, plucking the package from Sumia and tossing it to your lap. “You’re gonna love it, Robin! And more importantly, that big lug is gonna fall in love with you even more than he will when he sees you in that dress.”

You unwrapped the wax paper and untied the string, curious what this amazing treasure could possibly be.

Something that would make him love you even more? What kind of thing could that possibly-

“Oh, my!”

“Wow…!!”

“Wow, Sumia, are you for real? You and Sully bought this?!”

In your hands, which trembled just slightly…was a very intricate and beautiful set of lingerie.

And it was bright red.

“I-I…wow…” Your face flushed a deep scarlet, unable to mentally process the delicate lace that you were staring at. It left very little to the imagination. And you were supposed to wear this for Vaike, before you…

“I know it’s a little intense, but…I don’t know, I’ve been reading a lot of romance novels in preparation for the wedding, and lots of the endings had the heroines wearing a beautiful garment just like this! So Sully and I thought it’d be just perfect for you and Vaike!”

It was beautiful, and scandalous, and utterly terrifying. You stared at her in shock, the blood draining from your face.

It didn’t take long for the other women to notice the vibe shift.

“Er…Robin? Do you like it or not?”

“I don’t think she likes it, Sully.” Maribelle elbowed her, “Put that thing away!!”

“But she’ll need it for her wedding night-!”

“Robin, are you all right? You look like you’re gonna be sick…”

You shook your head, trying to indeed ignore the flips of your stomach.

It was Cordelia who ushered them out. Nowi was displeased that her fun was ending so suddenly, but even she could tell you were deeply upset.

Sumia lingered, coming to sit beside you once the door closed. 

“What’s wrong?” She asked asked you gently, Are you nervous about the wedding? It is perfectly normal to feel that way, you know.”

“I-it’s not the wedding, actually. I don’t feel nervous about all that…it’s…it’s what comes after.”

“What comes…oh, of course.” Sumia blushed softly, “There’s no need to worry about that! You’re a capable woman, a-and Vaike loves you very much. So long as you communicate and are gentle with each other, it’ll go great.”

“But I don’t know what to do! I don’t know what to communicate, let alone what’s the threshold for gentle versus…w-well, anything else!”

“Trust your instincts, Robin! It’ll be wonderful.”

“But what if it’s not?!” Your voice rose, your nerves following close behind. “W-what if all my instincts are tied to battle and tactics, and I don’t have any left for romance, or intimacy, or- I read those romance novels you lent me, but it still…the idea of letting someone in, in such a physical way….!”

“It’s very intimidating, I know.” She agreed with you, “But it’s going to be all right. You trust Vaike, don’t you?”

“Of course I do…”

“Then you should trust that he’ll take care of you. The last thing he’d ever want is to hurt you!”

“But what if I hurt him? What if I perform so terribly he regrets his choice? W-what if we’re not compatible at all, physically? We’ve hardly so much as kissed before this, Sumia!”

"Wow…that’s…that’s a lot to deal with, Robin. I understand why you’re so frightened.” Sumia finally said, stunned by the revelation. 

“We’ve both just been so busy since the war ended, and the wedding planning has been a challenge too, but…but now that we’re here, it made me realize that I’m…I’m just hopeless.”

“Oh, that’s not…” She trailed off, hearing a knock at the door.

Sumia spared you a glance, but chose to address the visitor while you took a moment to collect your thoughts. However, when she opened the door that peaceful second evaporated.

“V-Vaike?? What are you doing here? You know you can’t see the bride before the wedding!!”

Said blonde bachelor was practically hulking in the doorway, a flash of worry bright in his eyes.

“C’mon, just let me talk to her for a second! Nowi said she’s upset, and that I had to come help her!”

“B-be that as it may, you still can't see her! You don’t want to curse your married life, do you??”

“N-no, of course not! But if Robin’s upset I wanna help her. So, er, can I at least just...what if I just talk to her through the door?”

“Well…” She looked back at you, who nodded nervously to let him talk. Vaike was right; when you were upset, he was the one you needed.

“All right, but just for a little while! We don’t have much time before the ceremony begins!”

You made your way to the door, minding the delicate dress that threatened to trip you with every step.

You waited until she slipped through the opening, when you two were finally alone. Carefully you shifted so that you’d be well hidden by the door, invisible to your husband-to-be.

“Robin?”

“I’m here, Vaike.”

“There you are.” You could hear the smile in his voice, albeit it was a nervous one. “What’s goin’ on, babe? You gettin’ nervous about the big ceremony?”

“No, the ceremony’s not a problem. It’s what comes, uh…after.”

“Oh, I get it- the first dance. I know I’ve kinda got two left feet when it comes to dancin’, but I’ve been practicin’ a ton since our last rehearsal!! I guarantee there won’t be any stepped on toes tonight!”

“N-no, that’s not it, either. I’m not worried about the ceremony, or the reception, any of that. It’s…it’s what comes after everything. I’m worried about our first night together.”

“What?” Vaike sounded genuinely surprised, likely because his face was just as flushed as yours was, no doubt. “W-why would, uh, why would ya worry about that?”

“Because!” You swallowed thickly, trying to stave off your insecurities long enough to tell the man you loved why you were upset. You took a deep breath, touching your forehead to the door. 

“Because?”

“Because…I don’t know what to do.” You finally forced the words out, as mortifying as it was.

“Oh.”

“Yeah.” You sighed, “I-I don’t remember anything before Chrom found me, Vaike. I don’t know if I’ve ever…had experience, before, or if I’m any good at it! I don’t want to ruin our first night together by being useless! I want-- I want to make you feel good! I don’t want you to regret choosing me because I can’t do the bare minimum expected of a spouse!!”

“Hey, now…” Vaike sounded a lot less shaky than you did, which you found a little surprising. Wasn’t he worried about it, too?

You leaned away from the door, finding his hand carefully slipping through the crack in the door. 

“Gimme your hand, Robin.” He held his palm up, gesturing for you to join him. You hated how your fingers trembled when you did, the silken glove doing little to block the warmth that radiated from his touch.

Vaike squeezed your hand, holding onto you tightly. 

“Robin, it’s gonna be okay. I wouldn’t give up on ya just because our first night might be awkward. Or hells, worse case scenario? Our first night could be just plain awful!”

“Vaike!”

“I’m not marryin’ you for your body. I’m marryin’ you because I love ya more than anythin’. And even if you don’t have any experience at all, I do- which means I can help you while we try to figure out what’s gonna make both of us feel good, together.”

You sighed shakily, his goofy voice having been replaced with this firm, comforting gentleman. It was a little shocking to hear him so calm.

“We’ve got our whole lives together to learn about how to take care of each other. And honestly, babe, if you don’t even wanna have sex tonight, we don’t have to!”

“Really? B-but the first night seems so import-”

“Nothin’s more important to me than makin’ sure you’re comfortable and happy. If it’s too much stress to try and, er, ‘perform’ tonight, then we won’t. I’ll be just as happy to be sleepin’ right beside you for the first time than I would be doin’ anythin’ else. All that matters if we’re gonna be husband and wife. Okay?”

“Are you…are you certain you’re okay with that?” You asked again, earning another squeeze of your hand.

“I’m positive. I love ya, Robin. That’s never gonna change- and besides, I promise it’s not nearly as hard as ya think it is to have a good time, especially when it’s the person ya care about more than anybody!!”

“And I do, Vaike.” You made sure to confess, pressing a chaste kiss to the back of his hand. “I love you so much. I’m so excited to marry you, today…I just never want to disappoint you, or hurt you…so I’m glad I could tell you about this.”

“You could never, ever, in a million years disappoint me. If anythin’, I’m more worried about disappointin’ you! In fact, I’ve never been more proud of ya, tellin' me somethin’ you’re so worried about. It takes guts!”

“Well…I just needed you to know what I was thinking. And I’m glad I did.” You added, feeling the relief finally wash over you.

Vaike was right- maybe it wasn’t that big a deal, to not know if you had any experience. If you Even if you didn’t, Vaike was going to support you and love you regardless; because of course he was.

He was a big, brutish oaf more often than not, but he was always on your side. And he loved you deeply- more than anyone could possibly fathom (maybe even hiself).

“So you gonna be all right, babe? You wanna talk about it some more?”

“I’ll be all right. Just talking about it a little bit like this helped immensely.”

“Well we don’t have to leave it all here. When the ceremony’s over, and everythin’ is done…we can talk some more. I just want you to feel safe with me. I’m never gonna make you do somethin’ unless you’re ready to, okay?”

As if your heart couldn’t be more full.

“I know. Thank you, dear…now let’s take a little break so we can finish preparing before the ceremony. I need to make sure I didn’t smudge all this makeup…”

He laughed, brushing his thumb over your knuckles before he pulled his hand back through the door.

“You got it, sweetheart. I’ll see ya in a little while. Oh, and Robin?”

“Yes?”

“I can’t wait to be married to ya.”

Now it was your turn to laugh.

“I can hardly wait, too, Vaike.”

The wedding ceremony went off without a hitch. Vaike was floored to see you in your wedding dress, convinced he was the luckiest man alive to be marrying a woman as wonderful as you. The reception was beautiful and jubilant, with no stepped on toes, miraculously.

And that night, you laid in each other’s arms, simply basking in the reality that you were officially husband and wife.

The confidence would come with experience, and Vaike was with you every step of the way. There would be no doubting or worrying allowed, while you learned how to take care of one another.

And once the honeymoon was in full swing, that little red thing your friends bought you made an appearance…and judging by the expression he made when he saw it…it was definitely worth the wait.

The Ruined Future - Ylisse

(Lucina P.O.V.)

"So, what do you think our parents were like back then?"

I looked at Inigo, grateful that he had tried to lighten the mood. He, Morgan, Brady, and I are on our way back to Ylisstol, Naga's mission in mind. "Well," I reply, "Mother used to say she was a lot more cynical before she met Father. I also remember her saying that Father was more impulsive before his injury."

"Y'know," Brady added, "I heard Aunt Cordelia and Aunt Sumia both had crushes on Uncle Chrom."

Well, that's surprising. Inigo, voicing our disbelief, says, "Seriously?"

"I know, right?"

"Wow, they really just said "screw the love-triangle", huh? Or would it be a love square, because of Aunt Rob-"

At the snap of a twig, a decade's worth of experience got the four of us into fighting stances, facing the noise. A group of Risen warriors appeared from behind the trees to our right.

Inigo and I immediately get in front of Morgan and Brady, the latter two ready to support while we prepare to confront the Corpse Soldiers. Before they can reach us, however, the space above us starts to crack open. Lines of multi-color light appear amongst the treetops, like the air is being cut by a blade of rainbows. My friends and I back away from whatever this is, and I would seem that our undead foes have enough sense to follow suit. Eventually, the lines converge into the shape of a person before it shatters like a cocoon, revealing a red haired boy with a white cloak. He stays in the air for a split second before he falls to the ground with a surprised yelp.

"Ow..."

The Risen, now with a new target in mind, rushes red head while he's getting up from his prone position. Another victim to the Corpse Soldiers. Another head chopped off by an axe. Another stomach skewered by a lance. Another body riddled with arrows. Another person I couldn't save.

"NO!"

Before I can even register what I'm doing, I'm already rushing to the boy's aid. The first of the Risen brings its axe down, but the Falchion blocks the blade as I kick the undead dastard into its comrades. Some of the others try to flank the two of us, but are stopped by a wave of Elfire to our left and Inigo coming to protect our right.

"This is why Eisen makes the plans." the latter jokes while slicing off the head of a Risen.

I start to go through the motions, tearing through the servants of Grima. One of the zombies blocks my strike, and the redhead takes the opportunity to slip behind it with speed that would make a myrmidon jealous. Is he trying to flank it? Doesn’t he know that there are more behind-

“Trace. On.”

A curved white sword slices through the Risen at the waist. The two halves turn to purple mist before they can hit the ground. As the mist before me fades, I see the cloaked stranger sliping between the Corpse Soldiers, slicing them with dual blades. It’s hard to tell, but I think those blades are cutting through the Risen more easily than the average sword. An enemy axe slices him on the arm, but a blade comes out through the wound and skewers the foe who wounded him. He is a blur with his blades, cutting up his enemies as he works his way to the Risen Chief.

The Corpse Commander brings down its axe, the stranger blocking it with his swords. He kicks his undead enemy in the shin with enough force that I hear the rotten bone crack, the Risen falling (ironic, I know) to the ground from the shift in balance. The blade protruding from the redhead’s arm flies into the head of a Corpse Soldier behind him as stands over the Chief. The stranger puts his swords into a reverse grip and stabs his foe through its empty eye sockets, purple mist once again replacing the slain zombie.

The rest of the grunts were easily disposed of, especially with the strange redhead. When the last of the Risen are dealt with and Brady heals whatever wounds we may have sustained, the cloaked warrior turns to us with a smile that doesn’t reach his eyes, a smile all too common in this world.

“Uh, hi,” he says, giving an awkward wave, “I’m Shirou Emiya. It's nice to meet you.”

oh youre answer for how fell chrom would interact with robin is interesting. I never considered that he would try to make robin just get away from him. Seeing how fell chrom is consumed with guilt and regret over things, him wanting to be protective over robin would probably get overshadowed by him thinking he failed him

I mean, even Chrom who hasn't fallen will occasionally reveal a display of absolutely horrific self esteem. It's particularly clear outside Awakening proper—his Warriors support with Robin is probably the most obvious example, and hey, let's not forget that time he appeared in Dragalia Lost with a description talking about how "he himself worries he comes across as cold." But even in Awakening, you can see the cracks in him sometimes. How about the Chapter 11 conversation with Maribelle (he is about to propose) where he apologizes for worrying her, she gets embarrassed and says she was actually worried about Lissa, and he immediately backtracks and apologizes, like he thinks it's totally reasonable to be wrong about her caring about him (he is about to propose)??? Or the Chapter 11 conversation with Sumia (he is about to propose) where he's relieved when she agrees to marry him because he??? was worried she (SUMIA) might not??? Like, apparently to him, even the people closest to him would be totally justified dropping him like a hot potato for being too much trouble. And this is in the good timeline!

So of course Chrom as a fallen hero isn't going to think he has anything to offer Robin. He really is the tremendous failure he always feared he would be. Everything he was scared would happen did. Is it any wonder he ends up falling in line with Grima's beliefs about the inevitability of fate? Deep down, I'm sure he "always knew" he wasn't good enough.

Basic History

Kiyo was born in a little island town tucked away out on the Ruby Sea, and she would have been born into a peaceful life, but fate had other plans. Since the town's leader refused to have dealings with the Confederacy (not wanting to be beholden to anyone), it caused the place to be a prime target for a contingent of Garleans that came across it on fateful day

The few townsfolk that were actually able to fight, including Kiyo's father, sadly lost against the much more prepared soldiers and the town was crushed under their rule for a time. The people of the town could do little but comply with their captors as their home was used as a means to supply more soldiers and resources to the enemy. After Kiyo's brother was taken and forcibly added into their ranks like many other young men in the town, the siblings' mother set an incredibly risky plan in motion

Unfortunately, the plan didn't go as it was supposed to, and it resulted in the religious sect that Kiyo's mother still ran in secret to be weeded out and slaughtered by the soldiers that found them. The sheer trauma from witnessing this event as she hid is what caused her to develop mutism for the majority of her life

Kiyo thought her life was over after losing what she thought was the last of her family and support, but thankfully her brother had returned after escaping the confines of his forced conscription. Secreting himself and his baby sister away one night on one of the few merchant vessels allowed to pass through freely, the siblings sought their freedom far from the Ruby Sea and Othard itself.

After a lot of traveling by various means, the pair unfortunately had to stop their journey in the Dravanian Forelands; more specifically, Tailfeather. Thankfully the hunters there were kind enough to help the pair of them survive the wilds there and didn't ask any questions about why these strangers had draconic features. That was mostly due in part to a kindly old merchant that actually met a few Au Ra in his travels. Said merchant felt for these lost souls, especially for little Kiyo, and got in touch with his wife about taking them in.

Kiyo and Ryu's lives took a turn for the better, as the man's wife ended up being part of one of Ishgard's High Houses, and she adopted the pair in a heartbeat. While she did have to secret them into the city and keep them hidden for a time due to closely resembling the dragons the city was at war with, Lucinne gave the siblings a second chance at life

Growing up in Ishgard was tough, even despite being part of the nobility, but Kiyo powered through and eventually began her journey as a holy woman under Halone's will and a healer. Then one day she discovered she was one of Hydaelyn's chosen and her simple life was forever changed since then

Kiyo is selectively mute and really only speaks to those she's closest to

She has entirely too much aether for one person to have and it's aspected to water. Because of the nature of it, she can easily get sick if she has to travel a considerable distance with aetherytes. City traveling is fine though

I’ve gushed about this already in Fates, and 3H has a similar concept in regards to skill levels and such, but Awakening also does this, so I thought to lay it out.

Putting it under the cut because it got really long lol.

Chrom: Cavalier and Archer. Typical heroic classes, access to all physical weapon types, almost all of the resulting classes have sword access for Falchion.

Lissa: Pegasus Knight because she’s a pure maiden, Troubadour because she’s a member of high society + connection to Maribelle. Could also relate to her staff training.

Frederick: Knight because he’s an Ylissean knight. Wyvern Rider because he has a subtle inclination for violence.

Emmeryn: Pegasus Knight because she’s a pure maiden. Troubadour because she’s high society. Also the same classes that Lissa has, gives off a cute sisterly vibe.

Yen’fay: Wyvern Rider because he’s from Chon’sin. Archer because he keeps himself detached and separate from the rest of the party-especially Say’ri-because he’s not originally from this world.

Aversa: Wyvern Rider because of her ruthless personality (maybe she’s originally Valmese, too). Dark Mage because she’s noted to be gifted with magic.

Priam: Myrmidon because he’s a great swordfighter. Fighter because he’s a fucking hobo who lives to fight stronger people lol. The classes also let him use swords and axes to keep his connection to Ike.

And while child characters just inherit classes from their parents, some start with different classes, and that ties into personalities as well.

Owain: Myrmidon because he’s trained in House Ylisse’s sword techniques.

Inigo: Mercenary cuz you obviously can’t have two dancers, but he probably inherited Olivia’s skill with a blade regardless.

Brady: Priest because of gender locks, but also cuz he’s sensitive under the tough guy persona and scary face.

Kjelle: Knight because she canonically sucked at riding horses.

Severa: Mercenary because she wanted to escape Cordelia’s shadow.

Noire: Archer because of her reclusive personality.
