Sometimes I wonder if I've improved at all and then I see my old art like this and see how far I've come.

I’ve been spending my days imagining me and my friends ocs as warrior cats

Ermineclaw was Snailsteps true love, her soulmate. But unfortunately he was killed on the thunderpath during a hunting patrol.

His death was what pushed her to become a medicine cat

They had three litters of kits together, but I didn’t have it in me to draw all seven children in the last pic 🥲

They are such a creature! They also have a special interest in "Flying Monsters" aka Planes and has dreams on flying in the sky with the birds

They are often lost in their own little world

As fun as the relationship with spec and moon is, I wonder how rabbit is feeling now?

The world was much brighter and beautiful with lamb in her life.

Now it’s bland, miserable. If the guilt doesn’t kill her, the Loneliness will.

Moon 0 | Catastrophe

The camp had bern upwind of the fire, set down in a hollow where no cat had much of a chance to take note. Honeyfoot had panicked- of course he had, everyone had taken to shouting and fretting- and nobody had wasted the time it would have taken to organise.

He’d grabbed Phloxkit and run out onto the plains- trying not to fall behind or be trampled, knowing he could meet up with the others once the danger had passed. She didn’t protest for long, understanding his fear, if not the situation.

But they were exhausted, and the camp had burned so very hot, and Honeyfoot had run till his paws bled, and covered quite the distance. . As rain started to fall, bringing an end to the white-hot terror, and the two cats found some meagre shelter, Honeyfoot promised himself- and Phloxkit- and they’d search for survivors tomorrow.

I just had an image of the girlies at the Black Water where Rosehiptree is lamenting while Dogwoodmoth is trying to comfort her, but Rose can’t see or hear her, hence why she’s not looking at her but at the sky (I guess it would make more sense if she’s looking down at the pool, Augh)

Cats know the term blade of grass so technically a name like darkblade or or frostblade would work as a name. Ironically because they likely only know blade as in blade of grass, darkblade is probably a quiet shadowclan medicine cat named for how she can walk through the territory at night while being as quiet as grass

The flower is a red carnation btw! Didn’t feel like going super in detail on it so I figured I’d just clarify bc it does look like just some random red flower ngl… I don’t know if they grow in the wild but also I don’t care because I’m drawing a comic where cats talk so. Also if anyone is curious, I will be on artfight this year, with these two as characters and… perhaps one more character if we get to a certain moon by July. Also I referenced a scene from a certain movie, if anyone thinks they recognize it and comment it I’ll let you know if you guess it right! Happy pride month y’all!
