Heya, you can call me Mun. xP I'm a twenty-something year old (still current) scene/emo guy. I'm the creator of Scemo Lives On, this blog. I made this blog to document all the cool things I find while browsing little bygone forgotten corners of the internet. I do this just for fun, mostly out of enjoyment I get from the nostalgia fieldtrip. I am sharing these in the hopes that 1. May they reach the people in these images/videos and hope we find you well! I am always curious what the people in the content are up to now and how they're doing. And 2. That it inspires others to embrace the emo/scene style, themselves! As well as 3. Just reminding others what a time it was back in the early 2000s! Sometimes it's just nice to enjoy that lovely nostalgia and take a glimpse into the past haha. I'm also open to submissions, even if they're your own images! I would prefer no content from 2016 and up, as I consider that too recent for content that belongs on this blog. I would like to keep my blog strictly for legitimate old media! I am considering making a blog like this for the "modern (internet) emo" style from 2014-2018 and other "modern" bygone alt styles, such as "2014/2015 tumblr grunge" and so forth. 2003-2007

He desperately tried to make Yuuji’s first word be “fuck.”

He got so sick and tired of having to watch the same Barney VHS tape while babysitting that he ripped the film out and blamed it on toddler Yuuji.

Yuuji always begs him to draw his tattoos on him every time he babysits.

One time toddler Yuuji broke Sukuna’s flip phone in half. Sukuna was too impressed to be mad at him for it.

2008-2013

He brought five year old Yuuji to a Slipknot concert and had him up on his shoulders with big noise cancelling headphones on… and also “forgot” to ask Jin permission to bring him beforehand.

He tried to do a trick on Yuuji’s razor scooter and accidentally broke it.

He took Yuuji with him to Warped Tour.

He got really embarrassed when Jin showed Yuuji his high school yearbook photos of him with a mohawk.

He has a leather jacket with pins and patches all over it and Yuuji LOVES wearing it when he comes over.

2014-2017

He cut Yuuji’s hair when he got into middle school and told Jin “I’ll be damned if my nephew has a bowl cut.”

When Yuuji got into a fight at school he asked him “did you win?” When Yuuji said yes he took him to get ice cream.

He had a white iPhone and dropped it, cracking the glass on the back; Yuuji colored in the cracks with neon pink sharpie.

The first time Yuuji snuck out Sukuna chewed him out when he got back home, telling him “I don’t care if you sneak off, but you fucking tell me next time.”

Whenever Yuuji gets in trouble at school, Sukuna is always the one to pick him up because the principal is afraid of him.

Modern AU — Hashira music taste HCs

A/N: my husband and I spent a lot of time in the car this weekend as we moved to our new city, so we decided to come up with the niche modern music tastes for each of our faves. Enjoy!

Tengen Uzui: early 2010s pop — think Cobra Starship, 3OH!3, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, etc. He goes feral for anything off Kesha’s Animal album. 1000/10 hogs the aux at any party.

Obanai Iguro: anything you could find featured on a Warped Tour set list. Also loves pop punk and Reputation-era Taylor Swift, but will be caught dead before admitting it.

Mitsuri Kanroji: Arianna Grande (especially her 2013 era). A huge lover of K-pop and girl groups.

Sanemi Shinazugawa: Doja Cat.

Kyojuro Rengoku: he’s such a sweet, good boy. He loves Disney music and show tunes.

Muichiro Tokito: he doesn’t really care much for lyrical music, but he does enjoy lo-fi and vaporwave YouTube channels. Tengen let him pick the music for a party ONCE and Muichiro played “lo-fi anime beats to chill and relax to.”

Shinobu Kocho: Viking death metal, but she only ever listens on her headphones. She never plays her music out loud.

Giyomei Himejima: mid-2010s indie. Think the Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, etc. he finds it calming.

Giyuu Tomioka: 90s/early 2000s divorced-dad rock. Unironically thinks Higher by Creed is a good song. If he ever gets his hand on the aux, the whole group collectively groans.
