Finally watched Kung Fu Panda 4, tell me why it unironically changed my life

Shen yuan casually gaming and maxing out his character luo binghe and trying to clear the game but each time he finds a wife hes like "eugh wtf get out of my way i have beasts to document" "dude wtf is this scene what is this cursed ass plant how did this pass censorship" "dude theres way too many women i thought this was action i didn't think action as in like that tf"

Meanwhile luo binghe on the otherside suddenly gained a persistent and basically controlling spirit

He cant talk to it, he finds, but it mutters to itself. "Sex? Why does this sword want sex? Just dunk it in a herb bath or something." Before forcefully guiding him to do just that. He finds that xin mo calms down with this method.

"Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous." The spirit mutters as it watched a poor girl get affected by the sex pollen. Luo binghe was immune, of course, but he didn't have the heart to leave the girl suffering, even if his own heart is already wounded. The spirit leaves when Luo binghe started helping the girl.

On a journey in the woods, the spirit looked at something.

"Interesting." The spirit spoke as it forced him to stop to observe a nearby beast.

The spirit seems to like beasts. Luo binghe makes a habit to stop everytime they find a beast.

The spirit was a charming companion despite its... frightening control on him. But the spirit seems to mean good. If anything, it was helping him get stronger, and.. helped him survive just a little more comfortably.

Hes gotten comfortable, maybe even safe with the spirit watching over him. It always knew what to do, even if it muttered nonsense half the time.

Somewhere in between, he could finally speak to the spirit. Albeit, it was rough at first, with the spirit cursing and wondering why luo binghe could talk to it, but luo binghe was patient, and the spirit would get used to it eventually.

The spirit's name was.. something Yuan. It kept getting distorted, his family name. Thats okay, he'll just call him yuan-ge.

when he merged the three realms and became emperor under the guide of the spirit, he was quite proud. "Ah, finally! I finally got the damn ending!!" Yuan cheered in joy, and luo binghe merely smiled.

he doesnt know what that meant, but as long as his yuan-ge was happy, he didnt mind.

He turned his head and looked to the side, expecting to see the spirit.

But all he found was a flickering, and ever blurring spirit. His smile fell.

"Ah.. the ending ■■■■■■." Luo binghe could see a faint hint of a smile as the spirit turned to look at him,

"Well, its been a good game, binghe! See you next time."

Yuan disappears.

..... what?

The emotional realization finally hit him, and it hit him hard.

No one questions why the emperor had cried, nor why hes now desperately trying to find ways to call for spirits of the dead.

Meanwhile......

Shen yuan on the otherside sighed at the ending screen. Damn, thst was pretty hardcore. Pretty good A.I too.

He went and made himself noodles, unaware of the absolute chaos he caused.

Somewhere in the future; shen yuan gets summoned to a different world, face to face with luo binghe.

Luo binghe, although shocked that it worked, was relieved and... now, unwilling to let go.

"We meet again, Yuan-ge."

The first time you met him, it was in your dreams; In a world that felt way too far out of reach, yet so close all the same. 

The sun was sitting permanently at daybreak, and the air felt thick and still around you. It was suffocating, like being stuck under a pile of potato sacks. 

You could only make out a few features of his face— white hair tied to the side with a few strands set free to frame his face, dulled red eyes as sharp as a hare’s that bore straight through you into the precious organ secured in-between your ribcage. 

His clothes were tattered and torn in some places, and a lone instrument was strapped to his back. He carried a journal with him, a cecilia pressed neatly between the pages as a bookmark of sorts. His lips were thin and pink, pulled into a small smile that was as unnerving as it was welcoming. 

The hat covering his head blocked your direct view of his face, but it was no matter. He already revealed his striking eyes to you seconds before. 

His mouth opened, his voice as soft as a whisper and as fleeting as the wind that carried his poetic words afar. A hand reached out, encompassing your vision. You felt like you were submerged underwater, watching from above as he moved and talked in slow motion. 

The movement of his lips was hard to read, but you could hear his words distinctly— like a twig cracking in a silent forest. Like an echo in a cave. 

The hand reaching towards you lifted, and your body moved with it, and now you were no longer submerged in that wispy realm of distorted voices and sounds, and you could feel your body moving on its own as he led you astray. 

You couldn’t remember his voice, not anymore, and you could barely remember why he spoke to you or what he said, but there was one thing that stuck with you— his music. 

He strummed his lute with a fierce, powerful hand. It resonated in the earth beneath your feet, hit every nerve ending in your body; from your toes to your head, and flowed throughout every vein. It whipped amongst the trees, rattled their branches and rustled their leaves. It bounced off the wind, soaring and flying into the sky like an angelic choir. 

Too stunned to move, you watched as the man entranced you, leading you further and further into this dream-like wonderment. 

The farther you walked, the further you grew from reality, and the heavier your steps became; as if you were wading through water currents that tried desperately to push you back out into sea. But you were stubborn, and you fought, eager to follow this man back to shore. 

He took your hand, and you could feel the coldness of his touch on your skin as he whisked you into a dance of beasts and horns. You hummed along with his singing, allowing him to lead you into this trance. You followed his movements and copied them. You stored the memory away in the back of your mind and felt the fabric of his clothes underneath your fingertips. 

It was smooth but prickly, like a cornstalk. The fabric of the long cape was tattered with tassels on the edges and firmly knit together like a potato sack. The cecilias tucked into his collar smelled sickly sweet, invading your senses and further dizzying your already hazy mind. 

Before you could ask his name, he was gone, and you were left by yourself in the woods. That was no dream, if the cecilia wrapped firmly in your fist was anything to go by. The Autumn breeze wafted through the trees, causing the chimes on your porch to trill a lovely sound. 

It passed over your warm skin like ice water on a fresh wound, and you found yourself shivering. That was no dream, and that man was no figment of your imagination. You picked up the crumpled piece of parchment laying by your feet, inspecting its contents. 

“We will meet again, in some corner of the world. Find me in the future.” 

So, that is what you did. 

You went searching for the man of straws and cecilias, with whom you shared a dance. The man made of the same fabrics that you had in storage in your house. The man of peculiar origin, who— now that the hazy veil was lifted from your eyes —was anything but human. 

The song he sang echoed in your head like a siren’s call, and the chimes on your porch danced with the wind. The hills in the distance sang of tales of ancients, and the forests weaved those tales into reality. 

In the future, you set out for those hills and left the forests that wove your tale in its pages. The hills jumped to life, and so did you— for you would be reunited with the man who oddly resembled the scarecrow in the storybook collecting dust on your bookshelf.

I'm doing this shang tsung MY WAY!

Which ignoring canon that he was in. And placing him in my version of mortal kombat. (Which aligns more to the original timelines)

So a young shang tsung,who was once an earthrealm warrior,felt betrayed and was cohersd by shao kahn to join his court in outworld and fight on "his side" so to speak.

As for the dark magic/soul magic. He was always curious,but only curious. He only dived deeper because he was 1. Forbade to without so as much as a decent explanation on why it's "forbidden" and 2. Because he was trying to help earthrealm in any way possible,by any means. But he was again told no. So in his mind. It's like "wtf do you want me to do? It's like i bring a solution and you don't like me playing by the rules you created,which i try to follow yet. I get it spat back in my face" type deal. Course there's nuance to this and it's mainly raidens falt for not telling shang properly and handling things better. And yes,shang was his chosen and student before great lao. Great lao came in a tad bit later. Then came the tournament. He was actually trained by the shadow priests,who worked for shao kahn but revered shang. As they saw a prodigy in him. And magic aside. That man was a fucking excellent warrior,deadly as is. Add sorcery to him and he's a beast. <3

But anyways

Like i have a whole backstory more on shang tsung and i feel alan lee's shang is a good baby days shang tsung. Freshly cursed,freshly courtly mage,etc.

When we get tagawa's shang,is only after he gets his island. Which i hc was given to him by shao kahn as a gift. He wasn't gonna use it. So it was shang's dominion. In doing so he kinda fucked up because now,shang tsung was a lord of his own realm or pocket dimension. He has full jurisdiction and power over his island. The island's natural soul well was fortified to work in shang AND ONLY SHANG TSUNGS favor. He made the island self sufficient. (More on shang's island in another post) now. Only after spending years there,gaining knowledge,power,secrets,etc and a bit of forcefed defeat. Does our lovely sorcerer become more of the shang tsung we know and love. Wisdom and decades even centuries of knowledge gained.

Now back to young shang.

Young shang(alan lees shang/ mk12/mk1 shang) is a tad more prideful,maybe even jovial,always ever confident but in a youthful way. A spirit never breaking no matter how many times kicked down. These traits are amplified in his youth. He gets chiller and more relaxed and composed as he becomes more and more like out like elder shang tsung (tagawa's shang tsung/mk 95/mk11 shang) so that being said. Not too much difference,yet the aura is different and more of someone genuinely scholarly. Tagawa's shang is already a master,to get to that part. We need more development.

Now Lee's shang has great potential but i doubt that nrs ever would give him that genuine opportunity given how the script and story is being written. It feels its holding him back. And that kills me because it's such an amazing talent.

Now a young shang tsung to me is ever the curious. Not that ever stopped. But in his youth,he was always asking why or how. He wants to just know. He has to know. That can bite him in the ass or save his ass. Either way that is a core trait.

Shang tsung not being given an opportunity to join earthrealms warriors is a crime and honestly really really stupid on nrs.

It's rushed and they know it but they dont care because $$$ and micro transactions...

Anyways. Young shang tsung to me also needed a lot of reassurance not because of that lack of confidence,nah it's more of a reminder of "is this good? Is this wise? Am i crazy for feeling this or is this pride getting in the way?" He is confident in skills,he is not with other aspects more so he just doesn't want to disappoint. And Because he doesn't want to screw things up for the long run. But as trial and error happens,he gets more confident in his decisions.

He has his moments too and showing vulnerability and humanity in antagonists is very important. But not done in a backhanded slap to the character and audiences intelligence. Which unfortunately mk12/mk1 kinda does unfortunately.

And honestly,i felt bad for him. More than i ever did.

In conclusion,young shang tsung should be shown and given an opportunity to show with that an insight into shang's mind,heart,and things we actually don't see.

And some things in mk12/mk1 shang i absolutely am like "YES YES YES!" but because of everyone else,it's hard to enjoy because everyone else is insufferable.

Genuinely. Insufferable.

Like compared to shang tsung who gets something real,raw,human,believable,grounded,and interesting.

Nobody else in the story feels like characters,they feel like action figures playing along. And in a way that feels forced and fake to fit a boxed in trope. The script and writing feels ai generated.

Shang tsung seems to be the only one given some kinda agency and not even 100% either. It's not the greatest and it has flaws but by comparison it's great. Comparing that shang to every other shang tho? Kinda rushed and sloppy. And a disappointment. But it sucks because i want to really like that shang tsung.

So i jusy said fuck it. Im rewriting that shang.

Young shang tsung,mr. Alan lee. You deserve better. And honestly i think it's a wasted opportunity to have a shang centric game for once. It would be different,fun,and a change of pace.

Ninjago Dragons Rising Episode 18 Spoilers

So when I first watched Episode 18, some of Levo's dialogue towards Ras put me off, especially since I was expecting a great emperor that was nothing like Beatrix.

But watching it a second time, I realized that Beatrix shares some of her attitudes with her father, especially regarding Outlanders.

Because we see Levo insult Ras, even saying "what could an outlander such as you do" (To which Zeatrix side-eyes him for a second like "wtf dad").

And yes, he does say that he accepts visitors from other realms, but we don't see many, and his dialogue shows that he doesn't really respect them.

Plus, he, like Beatrix, obviously believes that Imperium is superior to everywhere else, talking about how it's the most advanced civilization as a way to shut Ras up (regardless of if he's telling the truth or not)

Which, again, is something the Beatrix constantly does to people.

And these actions could have also been a factor for how easy Beatrix's takeover was.

Because yes, she did convince everyone that dragons were mindless beasts after everyone knew they weren't. But what if she also had to convince them that Outlanders were bad? Then she would've had a tougher time, and probably would've faced more resistance to her rule earlier.

(And Zeatrix probably had some of these attitudes as well, at least the superiority complex. But depending on where she is, she may not have this attitude anymore (if she's still alive. Because the writers could do a plot where she isn't alive but she has a child who is that inherited her elemental power))

The young appleonian threw the apple he was holding in the first draft of that scene in The Core of the Matter, so it's hardly outside the realm of possibility. Admittedly, a little unlikely because generally he'd be singing to those already too weak or weary to be defiant.

Maybe writing, maybe not writing, I don’t know. I’m conflicted on the matter of how to handle Volume 2, Disjointed.

The original opening chapter is good, I like it, but from there on out, on the whole, it is a bit shit. It’s a bit forced. And now I’m having to calculate the [Intermission] and what it changed, how it changed things. I feel like I hit a good stride there, with the exception of the chapter length (as a short story type of beast). It’s good, it moved things along nicely, and Vol 2 feels very stagnant. Sort of. And I’m struggling with the end of the intermission, itself. It ends with Aaron being jettisoned to the It’iokh’s realm, right? Major cliff-hanger shit, and I dunno how to handle that now. STRUGGLES!

Not to mention all the nefarious shit circling around in my head, but that’s neither here nor there.

It’s just that, things have become unwieldy, and while the only way out is through and going through Vol 2 now, and fixing it feels like a valid option, so does starting it over, maybe keeping the first chapter. Maybe, because now I’m beginning to question whether or not I stated a bunch of what had already been stated in the [Intermission], and how the events of the [intermission], in particular between Amelia and Eleanor have changed the shape of things.

LIKE, the Black Giant told Eleanor in her last scene to leave Amelia ASAP, to step away, full-on, that Amelia is going to end up taking her down, right? A warning, right? And a good, accurate warning, which I want to play with before separating them (more or less) at the end of Vol 2, Chapter One… and then there’s the whole Aaron thing. That was such a perfect cliffhanger ending, I’m questioning where it should be placed, at the end of Vol 1, or as a Prologue to Vol 2? And then, to keep that mystery brewing, how long should I wait to reintroduce his plight? My brain hurts, and I don’t like this.

I’ve made a mess of this, by being impatient and too slow-burn for my own good. I have created my own fucking problem, and I’m getting pissy about it. That’s all, I’m just pissy, and here I am, trying to work it out, without a big splash of inspiration, meaning — what? Should I wait and not write today, just sit here and babble about possibilities until I work it out (okay, I had a brief flash of inspiration on how to handle things, but I lost it).

The thing is, see, the thing is… I could just create a new document, and see where it takes me. Let the story dictate where it’s going, instead of my fucking bullshit of trying to over-think things and make them too clever. That will be my biggest downfall, being too clever for my own good.

The catch is, I could end up cutting huge swaths of Vol 1, make Vol 2 a whole lot shorter, then Vol 3 fairly short as well, and do it all as one book, cut all the bullshit out of the way, and do it that way. I had originally wanted to do a series of interconnected short stories, but Vol 1 ballooned as I was trying to figure out wtf the story was going to be, so maybe that is the best course of action. And I introduced the devil, literally, Mr Cadwallader, from the Nowhere stories. Shit.

I have made a big old mess of the whole damn thing, haven’t I? Do I cut Cadwallader? No, he’s too integral to the end-game, right? Like the Epilogue. But cutting him and his team way back may be a good course of action. And sticking with the original plan… Fuck me.

And it is moments like these where I consider just shuffling off to Buffalo, so to speak.

I wanted something clean and interesting, not this bloated fucking 200k word epic mess. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit.

Fun fact, did you know that while he is often regarded as being short, Napoleon Bonapart was fairly tall for the time, standing at I believe 5’8 to 5’10?

I don’t know what to do, though, my brain is screaming and I’m tired, so settling back and just breathing while I noodle on the idea may be the best course of action. I think cutting everything down, to maybe 100k, 125k goal length may be the best course of action, and that may be the key, here. Maybe.

The Most Cold-blooded Child Soldiers pop out of these Giant Juggernaut Suits wtf is this!!? These Kamikaze Children charge at them armed with only Machetes, except wait a minute, they're wearing some kind of Chemical Bomb Vest, Dispersing a barely visible smoke into the air. It is the next Wave of Hallucinogens and Fear Gas. Meanwhile what the Hell!!... Invisible Soldiers!! They use these Special Energy Beam Guns look like some kind of Ghostbusters shit, except what it does to a Living Body is Scatter the Shattered Pieces of the Soul acrossed the Quantum Realm to be Lost Forever. And it looks Painful too. These crazy Invis Fucks use some fucked up Swords too. Don't let it Impale you. These Swords will Inject Spider Larvae inside you FUCK THIS!!! And I also heard that you might Imagine it's ur Loved Ones stabbing tha shit outta you. Like what kind of fucked up Republic Shit is this?!!!! To make matters worse they sent in their special Drones to make little EMP microbursts just to jam our Radios like that's really even necessary we're all Dead already. Some of the soldiers get their heads chopped off by a Ghost, then Spiders come crawling out like Look at Me, Here I am, FUCK YOU Kermit. Speaking of Frogs I mean seriously KILL MEEE I'M RIGHT HERE DO IT DO IT NOW GET TO THE CHOPPERRRRRRR!!! We're all gonna Die... Them Drones have smothered the Beach with Poison Dart Frogs. The Child Soldiers aren't even Immune to them, I find that even more odd. It's as if they want the Children to die. Hold up wtf is this? All the Coast Guard is Randomly Vomiting and experiencing super Nausea. How the fuck did that happen? Hmmmm. Okay now I'm mad. So this whole time... The Invis Soldiers and Drones have some kind of Kinesis Module, where they could just Snatch the Guns outta our hands whenever they so please??!! FML!!! And even the Juggernaut Suits too, somehow they're operating themselves I'm not totally sure if they're remote controlled Drones, or one of them Invisible Fucks hopped into one. I swear this is Abuse. War Abuse!! I'm calling War Abuse!! Yeah I called it first! I'm surprised they don't use Radiation Bullets fuck me. Okay so the Juggernauts take Easter to a whole new level. You think that's nasty, they finally Rolled in their War Beasts. And when you think of War Beasts you think of Giants right?,,, Battering Rams to Breach the Gates na. Story: 4 out of 5 Smut: 0 out of 5

I’m sorry, but where is the hype for this book, people? Did it have some spelling/grammar mistakes? Yes. Did it distract from the story? Absolutely NOT.

When I tell you I am obsessed with these characters, I mean it. I started this book yesterday evening (10.8) and finished it this afternoon (10.9).

The author pulled me in with the promises of a dark retelling of a childhood fairytale favorite, and I was sucked further in with the detailing and story. Briar and Casimir have my heart right now, y’all.

There’s heartbreak and joy and laughter… and I really wish there’d been a Beauty and the Beast film made from this book. It’s everything an adult would love.

Now here are my rambling thoughts…

* Dagan’s a dick. I can’t wait until he gets his ass kicked.

* Papa Hart also seems dick-ish. Where’d our lovable papa go 😂

* Fuck you, Dagan! Papa Hart did NOT say yes to your proposal for his daughter’s hand.

* Dagan is a slimy bastard, using papa Hart’s disappearance as an excuse to get close to Briar. Open your eyes, B!

Picture this: two lone warriors, dressed in Hospice-shop hand-me-downs, nails gritty with the grease of a thousand vehicles, hands scarred from endless new battles of resurrection of iron beasts, eyes bloodshot from the exhaust fumes and the late nights, and endless cups of double-shot coffees ('tis the only luxury we have afforded ourselves), armed with a spark (...plug?) of determination, battling the odds in a land rife with chaos and soaring tensions (holy shit! wtf is going on? #TAXIS #TAXES # TATERTOR - RIP little fella - you were a brave one). Those warriors; my friends, my foes; are none other than Craig, The Resilient and Sonnet, The Stormbringer!

Now, we've never backed down from challenges, oh no - our mottos: 

"bring it on", 

"is there going to be coffee?", 

"we'll sleep when we're dead"

(ok, so, that hits a little close to home right now - a nod to both Hugh and Shannon - both whose recent deaths came a little too soon), 

"holy fuck, were you not happy with the deal the scrapyard offered you?"

Our quest? To empower ourselves and those of us that are playing life's game in uber hard mode (those of us born with a disability - disclaimer: not all disabilities are physical or even visible - especially those dorks that park in the handicap bay at PNP without a "I am disabled" sticker - shame) and to revolutionize the auto-electrical realm. We want to buy a business and we want to offer training for new little sparkplugs - Why? because we can, we have the necessary qualifications, we have the experience, we have the drive to do this, and we have the balls (well, you know what we means - no reference to anyone's body bits) The business is a longstanding, functional, profitable and up scalable venture in the Western Cape, and it is right opposite a coffee shop (jeeshlike! how can people not see this amazing investment opportunity!!!) A noble cause, you say! Well, hold your horses, for this journey has been no walk in the park.

You see, dear readers, The Financial Fortresses (aka the South African banks) — declared us unworthy of their aid. Apparently, we don't quite meet their lofty requirements. After not thinking about it for a day it totally brained me in the head like a boomerang, The king probably wasn't a balanced heart

Ok so, miles of rambling before i swing back around to the point, the only wishes we know have been made are:

Link wished to uh fucking kill demise in skyward sword, ghirahim immediately hits him with the uno reverse after

The King in windwaker wishes to wash away the old hyrule and give hope to the kids

It is unclear if Ganon did make a wish here? Like he has the full triforce, and then he becomes the beast ganon, it was canon in that lttp manual idk if it still is anymore cause the wording in current stuff makes it super unclear? he probably did make that wish here, dunno how his beast ganon form in oot is different to the beast form he gets after making a wish tho

At the end of lttp Link gets the triforce and hits the status quo button, gets his whole uncle back and everything good for him

At the end of lbw Link and Zelda wish to restore Lorules triforce

This is also unclear because its refering to Hildas ancestors destroying Lorules triforce which like, i assume they had to wish to do that but the wording is vague

This is in the prologue to Zelda 2, the king like wishes for prosperity or whatever

Also kinda vague, at the end of zelda 2 it says Link uses the power of the full triforce to wake zelda the second up but dunno if the triforce just does it or if he explictly wishes for it

I love the encycolpedia entirely cause it adds timelines to show where so many things are when so here's the timeline of the triforce, i just think its neat

And from what we know about the triforce there are only 2 ways to make a wish, to smack your hand on it with a balanced heart and you just get it, or you smack your hand on it with an unbalanced heart and its splits off and you get the one you embody most, if you then collect the pieces again you can make a wish

So back to the point, in King windwakers case he totally didnt have a balanced heart he was piggy backing off ganons work, the triforce split and had been collected meaning i guess the next person to touch it get a wish scott free, (like i feel like there should be a clause in there to make it so only the guy who first touched it and got the pieces back can make a wish but then that can be cheesed by just smacking it before he can and making it split again to dely/yoink his wish, idk this doesnt seem very well thought out by the goddesses in universe)

Also sub thought, oracles wtf? it become bird?

Like i mean yeah i guess, it is all powerful it is in its skill set to be able to do that But why tho (i need to draw fanart of the triforce as birds now)

Mandrag Ganon is a fucking hilarious name and it should have become as vaguely canon as Ganondorf Dragmire is, oh my God, plus enchanted thieves? looping that in with his surrogate mothers being kotake and koume, two very old witches and him being a sorcerer in gerudo form mayhaps he had an enclave of powerful magic wielders as his like cult within the gerudo, all the other gerudo generally arent magic wielders, (inserts gerudo hcs here, maybe Ganon being the rencarnation thats pick out able from the other gerudo and fated to be their leader not because he man but because hes born with magic, most gerudo leaders we have seen that are born into that role have some magical ability of some kind, maybe the one man born every 100 years isnt a gerudo myth but a hylian one and how gerudo veiw gender is very different, i already hc a large portion of the gerudo population is made up of trans women, idk i should make a word vomit post about all my zelda race gender thoughts)

I do find the oots whole map is just the south forest in tp actually hysterical, its so funny, best theory ever, i love it so much and as much as i don't think it is canon its my favorite i love that guy, i think about it so much haha, I do think its kinda canon that the Zonai build the great plateau? dont quote me on it but i think there was like a comparison from a zelda memory with the walls of it and the walls were zonai style and probably rebuilt by the hylians like they rebuilt the temple of time (botw ruins site) ontop of the temple of time (zonai in the sky one) i do like plateau and lost woods swap theory tho so maybe the zonai did that who knows, if you want some fun zelda map vids to watch here are my faves plus a bonus triforce hero's theory

Similarities Between Noblesse and Bleach.

So I love Noblesse and Bleach.

And I’ve noticed a lot of similarities between them.

So I’ve decided to write them all out here, as well as some of my personal head canons, to see how many I can come up with xD

Gotei 13 vs. 13 Clan Leaders

Headquartered in Soul Society, The Gotei 13 (13 Court Guard Squads) is an organization of people who are more than human, whose primary purpose is to protect humanity. 

Headquartered in Lukedonia, The 13 Clan Leaders are a collection of 13 different families who are more than human and whose primary purpose is to protect humanity

Most Squads do not have a specific role or job other than to fight, but some do. 

The 2nd Squad (Division) acts as scouts and assassins, like the Kertia Clan. 

The 11th Division is always lead by a Kenpachi, which basically means ‘No matter how much you cut him, he’ll never fall.’ This is similar to Gradeus’s clan, especially since both the current Kenpachi and Gradeus uses an axe as their weapon.

Weapons

Every member of the Gotei 13 has a zanpakutou, which usually take the form of a katana. Each zanpakutou’s ability is unique to the user. The Captains of each Squad all have very powerful zanpakutou.

The 13 Clan Leaders each have a Soul Weapon that is unique to their clan and are very powerful

Each zanpakutou has a material form.

Each Soul Weapon has a material form.

The Loyard Clan has the Death Scythe as their Soul Weapon. It is also known as the Scythe of the Grim Reaper.

The members of the Gotei 13 are called Shinigami, which means ‘God of Death.’ There is no known canon member of the Gotei 13 that possesses a true scythe like Death Scythe. Coincidence? I think NOT! :)

Something called ‘Kikou’ is used to execute criminals who have committed severe enough crimes. It takes the form of an enormous phoenix-like creature that, after it pierces through the criminal, vaporizes him/her. Sound familiar, Noblesse fans? 

Not all zanpakutou specialize in direct combat. 

Not all Soul Weapons specialize in direct combat (see Eleanor and Tradia Soul Weapons). 

This isn’t to say that they’re weak, it just means it’s not quite their specialty. It’s the same for the non-direct combat based zanpakutou.

Gotei 13/Soul Society vs. Werewolves

Both the Noblesse and the Bleach Universe have werewolves, though they differ in appearance and abilities. 

It’s possible that Komamura from Bleach (one of only two werewolves we see in the Bleach Universe) is simply the soul of a werewolf from Noblesse. :)

I may make a whole other post about this, because I am JUST finding out that there is something called the ‘Beast Realm’ that exists in the Bleach Universe that I did NOT know existed. This was NOT explained in the manga. They mentioned it once, apparently, and dropped it! There is also very little info I can find about it, so... yeah... wtf!! This is serious head canon material, so I’ll have to carefully research this...

Ahem, anyway.

Hollows vs. Dark Spear

A Hollow is a human soul that has devolved due to strong attachment to the human world, and who therefore linger on instead of moving to Soul Society. The attachment is usually negative, i.e, your loved ones moving or the house you died in being torn down. It can also stem from what happened in your life, like being bitterly disappointed you never found true love or became rich. It can also stem from your death itself. Regardless of what it was, the reason grows in the minds of souls who linger and takes over everything, their mind, their thoughts, their bodies, and most importantly, their hearts. They eventually become mindless beings called Hollows, beings without hearts who devour the souls of others to ease the pain of losing their hearts. 

The stronger Hollows don’t eat other normal souls, but eat other Hollows. The strongest Hollows have eaten thousands and thousands of souls and have gained great power as a result.

Hollows normally exist by themselves, but a person can possess a Hollow, which is to say that a Hollow lives within the soul of a person, normally a Shinigami. The Hollow, like a zanpakutou, has its own abilities, personality, and material form.

To possess a Hollow is not natural. An unchecked Inner Hollow causes pain and disrupts concentration by attacking both the mind of its possessor. If the possessor is too weak, or gives the Hollow an opening, the Inner Hollow will take over the possessor’s body.

All of that was to say that Dark Spear very much resembles an Inner Hollow, albeit an earlier model than the ones shown in Bleach :)
