Your Woman Crush Weekly is pro wrestling legend, Jazz!
The 45 year old rose to heights in 2001, debuting with the WWE after three years of training on the indy scene.  She was paired with Teddy Long, her eventual husband Rodney Mack, and eventually Chris Nowinski.
She would win the WWE Women’s Championship in 2002, and would defend the title at WrestleMania XVIII (18) against Lita and Trish Stratus.  She would again appear in a triple threat at WrestleMania XIX (19) against Victoria (the then champion) and Trish Stratus (the eventual winner).  She was eventually released in 2004 after the WWE had nothing new for her character.
She’d bounce around on the indies, before returning briefly to the WWE in 2006 for a short run, before being let go again in 2007.  However she’d start finding consistent work in Women Superstars Uncensored from 2007 to 2011, where she won the WSU tag team titles with then future IMPACT Wrestling star Marti Belle.
She’d win the NWA World Women’s Championship, and the NWA Cyberspace Women’s Championship, becoming the latter’s last champion.  As NWA World Women’s Champion, she’s held the belt for nearly 800 days, though for most of that time she, and the title have been inactive due to Billy Corgan purchasing the NWA.
She returned to action in mid 2018 when she defended her belt against Penelope Ford at the NWA 70th Anniversary event.  She then issued a challenge for the NWA World Champion, Nick Aldis to give her a title shot in her quest to win a traditionally men’s championship for the first time ever.  She’s an icon, a legend in wrestling, a trailblazer and so much more; so for all these reasons and more, she’s your Woman Crush for the Week.

WSU Tag Team Champion Miss April [2009]
Though it’s unclear exactly when this photo was taken, the Women Superstars Uncensored company featured a large amount of talented female wrestlers who would go on to achieve higher levels of superstardom in their careers. One such wrestler was Miss April, better known later as AJ Lee, who captured the WSU Tag Team Championship along with partner Brooke Carter in February of 2009. The two reigned as champions until the following May, when Miss April was signed to the WWE and Carter would choose a new partner to reign as champions with.

Origin: American
Meaning: Heaven (Spelled Backwards)
1. Meaning of the name "Nevaeh"
She is the most wonderful, loyal, caring and lovely person you can meet. She may seem shy and quiet at first, but when you get to know her she's really crazy and a bit weird, but when you have a Nevaeh, you should never lose her.
She is also the most down to earth girl you'll ever meet. Nevaeh is the name spelled backwards by heaven. She is the kindest person you will ever meet. She has the cutest dimples you have ever seen.
She is very kind but be careful when you mess with her she will go off but then feel bad about it as soon as she’s done because she’s a sweetheart. She cares about other people’s feelings and she doesn’t like to see people get hurt.
She often has brown eyes and black hair. She is very athletic and likes to cheer on people. But don't underestimate her because she'll prove you wrong faster then you can snap your finger.
2. Variation of the name "Nevaeh"
Neveah:
This unique name came out of the mist in 2001 to become a popular sensation. It was created from anagram - "paradise" in reverse - and many parents were fascinated by this concept. Think of it as a secret love message for a child.
However, please note that the attraction is different from the universal. Nevaeh may be the most divisive name in America, inspiring pro and child emotions.
Navaeh:
From 1880 to 2018, the Social Security Administration has recorded 1,246 babies born with the first name Navaeh in the United States.
3. Top 1 Famous Person Named Nevaeh - Nevaeh (b. 1986)

Wrestler Of The Year | Su Yung
When thinking of women who had a great 2017, one of the first names that came to my mind was Su Yung. Not only is she the current reigning Queens of Combat Champion she also holds the GirlFight Championship, ICW Women’s Champion, Kuiji Double Danger Tandem Tag Team Championship, and FEST Wrestling Championship. But that’s only the titles she currently holds. This past year she also held the WSU Spirit Title and ACW American Joshi Championship. That’s a heck of a lot of titles to hold in ONE year.
In the beginning of the year, Su started out as one of, if not the hottest acts in SHINE Wrestling as she continued to climb up the card and time and time again having the stand out matches on every SHINE card she was a part of which really became evident once news of her leaving SHINE came out as many fans flocked to social media denouncing the now-defunct FloSlam subscription service.
The undead queen continued her reign of terror in the state of Florida, holding onto the FEST Wrestling title, battling opponents such as Veda Scott, Jessicka Havok, Akane Fujita, and more while also capturing the Kuiji Double Danger Tandem Tag Team Championship, and won the vacant ICW Women’s Championship against Dynamite DiDi.
Yung also traveled quite a bit this year, wrestling for several promotions in the UK such as Lucha Forever, Southside, and Kamikaze Pro during the start of the fall before wrestling in Spain for RCW.
While she lost her Spirit title in WSU, she did score a big win in the first ever War Games match in the promotion and later on in the year teamed with Blackwater to win the King & Queen Of The Ring intergender tag team tournament. But that wasn’t the only tournament she won. In June she won the 9th Annual ACW American Joshi Queen Of Queens Tournament in Texas defeating the likes of Sage Sin, Angel Blue, and Dulce Garcia (yes, THAT one).
Su continued to reign supreme in Queens of Combat, defending her title and even gaveKennadi Brink her final match in the promotion before she went to WWE.
Su Yung’s unique charisma and superb in-ring work has taken her so far in 2017. Ever since becoming the undead queen her career has skyrocketed and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us in 2018.

Wrestler of the Year 2017 | Jordynne Grace
As the year 2017 comes to an end the Squared Circle Sirens teams will be highlighting different wrestlers from across the globe that we feel have made an impact over the past 365 days! Today we will be looking at Jordynne Grace!
2017 was the breakout year for Jordynne Grace, and what a year for a breakout star to have. Jordynne has been a prominent feature of promotions ranging from WSU, to Shine, to WWR, to Nova Pro.
Starting in 2017 with WSU, Jordynne defeated the likes of Britt Baker, Faye Jackson before stepping up to her biggest challenge in the company, the WSU champion, Mercedes Martinez. Although Jordynne did not capture the title, she clearly showed she was making a mark in the company as a viable competitor for the champion.
Jordynne continued her impressive ways into Shine, debuting in July in the Shine Nova Championship tournament. Jordynne impressed with victories over Aria Blake and La Rosa Negra before falling in the semi-finals of the tournament. Jordynne would end up challenging for the Shine Nova title on two separate occasions almost capturing the title both times.
Jordynne has also been a staple for WWR, defeating the likes Renee Michelle, Tessa Blanchard, and Rachael Ellering in 2017 before heading into the Tournament For Tomorrow, defeating Skylar, Tasha Steelz and Davienne to be crowned the winner of the one day tournament.
Jordynne is also a key player for Nova Pro, standing in the ring against the likes of Angelus Layne, Allie Kat, Veda Scott and being the last woman standing on Team Faye in the 5 on 5 elimination tag match at 11th Dimension. Jordynne even had a match of the night candidate against Fred Yehi in October that had the crowd solidly behind her and again showing what she can bring to the table.
She’s the last pure athlete, she’s thick mama pump, and she’s the truth. If 2017 is any kind of sign of what’s to come, Jordynne Grace is about to destroy 2018 the same way she’s been destroying whoever stands across from her in the ring.

WWE Signs Independent Scene Standout
We can confirm that WWE has signed inde[endent wrestler Kris Statlander to a developmental contract with the company and that she will be reporting to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Kris Stalander has had a meteoric rise on the independent scene. She is the first female graduate of the Create A Pro Wrestling Academy which is headed by WWE agent Pat Buck and WWE star Curt Hawkins.
Having debuted in 2017 Kris has wrestled for many promotions, most notably WrestlePro, Women Superstars United, Women’s Wrestling Revolution, Beyond Wrestling, and Queens of Combat to name a few.
Whilst wrestling for Beyond Wrestling she captured the IndependentWrestling.TV championship from Orange Cassidy becoming the only female to hold the title. That wasn’t her first taste of gold as she’s held the WSU Spirit Championship, NYWC Starlet Championship, and the Victory Pro Wrestling Women’s Title on two different occasions.
Back in February, she was selected to be an extra at the NXT tapings after attending an EVOLVE/WWN Live seminar. She also appeared on an episode of SmackDown Live alongside Karissa Rivera as one half of “The Brooklyn Belles” who were beaten down by then WWE women’s tag team champions, The IIconics in April.

RESULTS: WSU - Just A Bunch of Hocus Pocus
Women Superstars United presented its latest offering of 2019 with WSU Just A Bunch Of Hocus Pocus on Friday, October 18th from the Coliseum in Voorhees, NJ. Here are the results:
Vita Von Starr defeated Ashley America. Both competitors were making their debuts. Von Star picked up the victory after a back-and-forth encounter.
Corinne Mink defeated Karen Bam Bam with Nevaeh Chantelle. Mink sported a new look and declared herself One Tough Broad.
Sonya Strong defeated Megan Mason with Mother. Strong & Ariela Nyx formed an unlikely team last month & appear to be on the hunt for the tag team titles. Strong picked up the win with a hook kick.
Candy Cartwright defeated Gabby Gilbert. Cartwright came out singing happy birthday to the Endless’ Mason and appeared to host an impromptu Candy Shop Segment with Gabby Gilbert. After a lot of high pitched discussion, they both decided their match would be a Falls Count Anywhere Sweet Fight. Candy & Cake & all sorts of silliness were involved until Gabby ended up face-first in some cake.
WSU Spirit Champion: Davienne with Megan Mason & Mother defeated “All That” Ava Everett to retain the title. This was a classic encounter that almost didn’t happen. Davienne appeared to encourage Mother to attack Ava Everett in the early stages of the match, leading to the referee calling for the Disqualification. After deliberation, it was determined that the match would continue where a winner would be found through Pinfall or Submission. Everett came close on several occasions to picking up the victory, but Davienne remained a dominant force.
WSU World Tag Team Champion: Kasey Catal defeated Angel Sinclair. This match stemmed from the events over the summer where Angel Sinclair appeared to be unable to attend her scheduled tag team title defense against Catal & Exo. Catal continued her cheating ways leading to her getting a victory.
Ariela Nyx and Violette went to a No Contest in a match that was billed as determining the top contenders for the WSU World Tag Team Championship. Kasey Catal returned and laid out both women, seemingly solving the problem of having any contenders in December herself. Catal continued to pummel Nyx until Sonya Strong chased her off.
It was announced that Kasey Catal & Delmi Exo would be forced to defend the tag team championship against both Ariela Nyx & Sonya Strong and Violette & Masha Slamovich on December 28th.
WSU Number One Contender’s Tournament Final: Kris Statlander defeated Diamante with the Big Bang Theory. It was announced that in order to clear up the WSU World Championship Title picture that the winner of the tournament would be declared Interim WSU World Champion in an attempt to secure a unification match with the current champion, Tessa Blanchard.
WSU closes out the 2019 campaign with a double header on Saturday, December 28th. The event will feature all 3 WSU Championships being defended on both events.
