Minilla was adopted by Gojira when Minya was a baby still. He wishes he could hang out around his dad more often. Minya likes to "help" his father cook on weekends tho (when Goji gets everything done so Biollante can just heat up their food) and watch Masterchef.

Suko was abandoned when he was a toddler and has little to no memory of how his mother looked like, but still has some hope of finding his parents again. He really look out to when Kong visits the orphanage and he sees him nearly as a hero. Besides Kong, he's very close the orphanage's old janitor, Joshua (Gnarled Fingers).

Told you guys it was coming, didn't I? I apologise that this has taken a bit longer than expected, my mental health hit me like a bullet train, but I do hope it's sufficient.

Please note this is a general analysis. Although I do go into theories, both my own and others, this is just general thoughts. Also note when I speak of Vessel, I mean Vessel as a character, not the person, unless I specifically state so.

I get happy when I see the same users pop up liking and reblogging my work, because it means you're interested in this enough to go through the whole thing. Feel completely free to add your own thoughts, correct any errors I've made etc. As per usual, my DMs are completely open to anybody wanting to discuss ST <3

Let's start off with the basics. ‘Euclid’ is the anglicised version of the Greek name Eukleídes (Εὐκλείδης), mainly known via the ancient Greek mathematician Euclid of Alexandria, who is seen as the ‘father of geometry’, and most famous for his work on symmetry. Its general definition is something or someone who is renowned and or glorious (A) and the lesser known definition is something that is a copy of the same (B) (taken from Euclid’s ideas on symmetry), which we’ll come back to in a bit.

However, there is another Euclid in history that we’ll be referencing; Euclid of Megara. This Euclid, similar to our mathematician, was an ancient Greek Socratic (having been a pupil of Socrates) philosopher. I’ll be taking part of a text out of his Wikipedia article since his ideas have been explained thoroughly there.

First off, this is an incredibly interesting choice of name for a song. Outside of someone's maths and philosophy class, this name doesn't exist to most, so the fact it's been chosen at all is intriguing.

Vessel has shown time and time again he enjoys sometimes elaborate references in his art, an example being chemistry and biology in TPWBYT (most notable would probably be ‘Telomeres’), so, I think it would be easy to say that, whether it be a reference to Euclid the Mathematician or Euclid the philosopher, that said reference is understood and intended by Vessel.

So, let's start with our mathematician, shall we?

What I find interesting about Euclid of Alexandria is that his life and existence outside of his work on geometry is almost completely unknown. There's almost nothing known of him, as a person, other than where he spent half of his career (Alexandria; Egypt, hence his title), where he may have studied (Platonic academy) and a general idea of when he lived (around 300BC). What is known about this insanely famous man who created the foundations of symmetry is incredibly barebones. People take Euclid at face value for his work, just like Vessel (both as an artist, and a character).

Further, we, as listeners, don't have much of an understanding of who Vessel is other than being a mouthpiece of a deity known as Sleep, someone once human now grasping at the threads of humanity and someone sharing some of his struggles in life (both with Sleep and unknown people). Like Euclid, he is barebones, we take him at face value; a vessel. He is both a mouthpiece for Sleep, a mouthpiece for his own emotions (obviously) and a mouthpiece for us. His experiences transcend being just his, due to his anonymity, therefore allowing us to connect and express our own experiences. It's music for the sake of music; expression.

Now, having talked through Euclid as a person, it's time to talk about Euclid and his symmetry. Symmetry in shapes is 'reflections, rotations, translations, and combinations of these basic operations. Under an isometric transformation, a geometric object is said to be symmetric if, after transformation, the object is indistinguishable from the object before the transformation- a copy of the same’. So, of course, this means shapes like squares, rectangles, parallelograms and circles. Circles are a representation of infinity, wholeness, unity and loops. What does Euclid do? Loop itself (starts and ends with B major, which also happens to be the same chord that TNDNBTG starts with), and loops the three albums together, musically and lyrically.

Now, onto Euclid of Megara.

Euclid was born in Megara, Athens and was a follower of Socrates (sneaking into Athens to hear him speak, and he was also present during his death). He is most known for his philosophy that good is the knowledge of simply being and that the opposite of good does not exist, aka evil. The Good is described to be a perfect, eternal, and changeless Form, existing outside space and time. A form of Heaven without a God.

This idea could be linked lore-wise with Sleep Token; Sleep could, in a way, be The Good literally. Bliss. Further, with the idea that there is no actual opposite of good, then how can anything be bad? How can Sleep, as a deity, have bad intentions if there is no actual evil?

So far, with these two notable figures in mind, we can perceive Euclid as one of two ways (and there are more ways to come). Euclid can be seen as quite literally being a form of symmetry; a parallel that Vessel lays his life on because it brings all of the produced albums, all of his stories, together. Or, we can think of Euclid as Vessel. This brings me to @euclidsvessel's post on their theory on Euclid; what if Euclid was Vessel’s name before he became a vessel?

The theory that Euclid could be Vessel’s old name is not only extremely insightful, but very plausible as well. They explained their points very well in their original post, and I don't want to repeat what they’ve already said, so I do implore you to go read that! It's not detrimental to needing to understand this post, but I highly recommend it. Despite this, I am here to both support their argument and bring my own comparison. Take a look at the cover art for Euclid:

Let me repeat the lesser-known definition of Euclid; a copy of the same. A clone. A replacement. Held in the right hand is the decapitated head of Vessel's old (2nd gen.) mask. Specifically, the one that covers his mouth; the version that relinquishes the most amount of humanity. The album art is a representation of change portrayed in a symbolically gory way. Beheading, depending on the era you’re working from, symbolises both vengeance as well as a form of purification. By cutting off the head, you remove any ‘unholy’ thoughts. It's also among one of the most horrific and humiliating ways of killing someone (since it was typically done publicly, and sometimes the heads were placed on spikes of battlements as a warning).

Furthermore, there's a theory that's popped up a couple of times, lore-wise, that Vessel is not the first person to be turned into a vessel of Sleep, and he certainly won't be the last. So, considering the literal album art illustrates a replacement of Vessel, I’d say that theory is pretty much confirmed. In conclusion, the album art can either be interpreted as how Vessel will eventually be discarded and replaced by another vessel, or how Vessel himself will change, for better or for worse; clawing out of his own skin to become “someone new”.

So, to compare the idea of Euclid being Vessel’s old name, and to create the third perception of what or rather, who, Euclid is, what if Euclid will be the eventual replacement for Vessel?

And I saw something saying about Annabeth that said "Annabeth is too good for Any Man, Annabeth Is too good for Percy".

And I just started laughing, like I wanted to comment something but I honestly knew that if I did I was definitely gonna get Attacked.

But I found that TikTok very funny because they seriously thought Annabeth was too good for Percy when In Reality it's the other way around.

Like she should be Lucky she's even dating Percy cause if Percy even had a ounce of Self-worth he would know that he deserves better than Annabeth and CAN do better than Annabeth.

Look, I really don't like how media portray "feminism" and how that media actually shaped how people especially girls herselves should act and behave.

From early 2000 to here, "feminism" media is about making the woman be a badass/extra intelligent/rude - while passing rude as girlbossing - who doesnt need any help - especially if it comes from a man - and reduce the man to either "stupid boyfriend who cant do anything without her"/"in dark romance they are sanctified because they would commit genocide but he wouldnt harm the girl and do everything she pleases"/"vile stupid idiot sexist who needs to be beaten up by the strong girl mc"

It is literally 50/50. Men are not equal to his partner in those relationships. They are bellow their girlfriend in literally... everything. In other words.... They are used as plot devices to prop up the female mc. It is as boring as the girl being only there to be what drives a man in the narrative.

Like. Their entire personality is reduced to that. And while sometimes that may work in the story, as you know a character in which the purpose in the story is especifically to haunt the narrative like how Epic treats OdyPen - all the new media is streaming this kind of thing and yelling "we are feminist".

No. You are just playing with sexism and believing you are being woke.

It is annoying. It is bland. It is cheap.

Why that long discourse? Because Fandom and Riordan since HoO is making Percabeth and especially Annabeth fall into this category. Where her flaws are not treated as flaws, actually they are praised. She doesn't grow, she acts worse then when she was 12 in many ways, especially regarding her treatment of Percy. Percy is always at fault, and Annabeth is always in the right. The entire dynamic of Percabeth is basically Percy trying to appease Annabeths feelings and insecurities and fears while they are in supernatural adventures, and when it comes to Annabeth, Percy always has to sacrifice something for her, while all of his own traumas are put in second place and in return Percy is mocked, disrespected and physically assaulted, guilty blamed many times by someone that should care for him as much as he cares for her.

For godamm sake, Riordan made Percy incapable of tying his own shows and Annabeth needing to speak up for him, because according to Annabeth Grover and Percy were in awe in Hecates presence because she was a goddess in WoTG.

(You know, the same Grover who is the lord of nature and lived around Dionysus since he was born. The same Perseus who fought gods, titans and giants, who looked at the face of many gods and treats them either as friendly (like Hermes) or openly passive agressive. Perseus who was named Praetor and directly responsible for the fall of Typhoon in the Last Olympian. The same Percy who saved her life from primordials and monsters down in Tartarus. It is the first time in my entire life I see a MC be devolved so terribly on page only to prop up his own girlfriend in the narrative) I will stop here because talking about wotg is bad for my mental health.

In a relationship both people have to deserve each other. It is not about who is stronger. Who is smarter. Who comes from which family. It is about what they do for one another, what they do with each other and put it on the balance. They have to respect each other. They have to cheer each other up. They need to be each other safe place. Where they can be themselves free of cruel criticism, but still be able to grow and envolve to the best versions of one another. (I am highlighting "cruel" because that is important. I am not meaning construtive criticism.)

I will say it till my dying day: PJO Percabeth (the five original main books) it had everything to be a great couple. There were problems, of course, but they could easily - and I mean easily - be solved with the right narrative decisions. They had everything to be as great as hiccstrid in term of the relationship development and (as important as the other) individual development.

From HoO ahead: Annabeth doesnt deserve Percy and Percy deserves someone better.

Man, I’ve gotta say… going by Danganronpa case numbers, the second cases really have a chokehold on me when it comes to tragic characters. Mondo, Peko, and Ryoma are all characters who try to be good people, but feel as if they are unable or undeserving of living a life where they aren’t defined by their faults.

The saddest part of it is that all three of them die on a resigned note, even though in every case there is someone there who believes they deserve better than how they treat themselves (Kiyotaka, Fuyuhiko, and Shuichi respectively). At that point, though, it’s too late for the killers/victims to believe that they have reasons to keep going.

the power going out at Joker Out's concert today because of the weather, the crowd continuing the song when they couldn't, Bojan leading a prayer for the electricity to come back on, then Joker Out improvising and essentially doing an acoustic concert with Kris' guitar and one working microphone (??) while the crowd provides the backing vocals

is truly one of the most inspiring, heartwarming things I've seen lately. It's silly and it's "just a concert" and there's bigger problems in the world and whatnot but.... just the sheer joy, unity, and perseverance exhibited by everyone there. JO not cancelling the concert when they very well could've just given up and said "welp, nothing we can do." The crowd supporting them and lifting them up and being understanding and sticking around instead of going home, even though it was probably wet and cold and dark and miserable. Everything about it seems utterly magical and I'm a little sad this wasn't the concert I got to go to.

So about Frye's recent Splatfest victory...even in the beginning, playing on her team felt different from usual, and I had a suspicion about it... And after reading a tweet about the Autobots vs. Decepticons Splatfest from way back when, the suspicion grew stronger. And after seeing the final results, the suspicion was basically confirmed: The one factor in these lopsided Splatfests that's gone largely overlooked is how well each theme attracts older vs. younger players.

For many sets of themes, like the food themes, this isn't as noticeable. Everyone likes food, so the stats are gonna be muddier. But for more philosophical themes like the one we just had, I think the contrast was strong enough to actually affect the results. 'Save the World' (as it was localized pretty much everywhere outside of Japan) is a VERY kid-oriented option, especially compared to the other two choices. What child wants to do the Same Ol' thing at the end of the world?? How many kids even have a concept of what a 'Bucket List' is (and even if they do, would they recognize the phrase)...?

This would explain why Team Big Man, which usually either matches Team Frye or wins outright, did so poorly this time around...their performance was likely dragged down by an aggressively younger player pool.

It would ALSO explain why the Splatoon developers' obvious attempts to give Frye the most attractive themes kept backfiring: crowd-pleasers tend to attract kids. ^^; Meanwhile, Big Man and Shiver would have older player pools thanks to their more niche options, and end up winning more of the matches anyway.

If they really wanted to hand Frye an easy win after her year-long losing streak, rather than thinking along the lines of "Moldy Shoelace vs. 10-CARAT DIAMOND vs. Piece of Lint", they should have been trying stuff more like "New Club vs. New Apartment vs. New School". Y'know, make sure Frye's theme is something adults specifically can relate to, in order to attract older players (and thus, more experienced players) to her team.
