My wifi is shit so this gorgeous gifset by @eddie-dustin only partially loaded, which is how I sat waiting for Michael Meyers Eddie to pop out for a solid 15 seconds before realizing what had probably happened
Look at the pelt Wapol is wearing! Its eyes are bugging out in fear, too!
Luffy just popped up out of nowhere and goes straight for the suckerpunch.
He winds up helping Chopper, but that wasn’t originally his goal. If asked, Luffy would probably have said that he doesn’t want to get involved in other people’s business. But he doesn’t realize he’s barreling straight into the middle of other people’s business. He’s just out to kick the ass of someone who pissed him off. It isn’t until later - once he sees the pirate flag - that he gets invested.
Ok but that specific moment where someone pulls him back by the chin when he’s on the exam table I literally felt that in my whole being like who else felt that ✋
if the combination of heartbreak and anticipation makes me seem desperate, know that I am, and I'm also fooling myself into thinking I'm fixable by daylight and that this is wrestling my angels instead of running away from my problems
YESSSSS MALICIOUS!!! I'm so glad my bikeriders propaganda is working on you!!! it is SUCH a good movie that I saw it in theaters 3x already and want a fourth 😂 rewatch value is high, as I keep absorbing/realizing more in terms of themes, char analyses, circling back, etc etc the more I rewatch it. hopefully I didn't give ya any spoilers but let me know if you do end up watching it!!! <333
Awesome! Thank you so much @ellis-peace for providing these additional details. I am not immune to Bikeriders propaganda and this makes me even more excited to see the film!
And definitely no spoilers here, although personally I never mind spoilers to begin with. If I do happen to find out a major plot point or twist in advance I then get curious about how the story got there. Definitely always good to err on the side of caution though; I appreciate your thoughtfulness about this!
When I applied for the library job last year, it took 15 days between my final interview/presentation and the form rejection letter. I reapplied this year and had another interview/presntation on September 28th, so 15 days later would be this coming Friday the 13th (spooky). I don't know how long it will take for them to vet all the candidates this time, so I'm just sitting here waiting for them to rip off the bandaid, and lucky number 13 seems like as good a day as any for the news to come. I have a feeling. It's not a good feeling or a bad feeling, just a feeling. I'll keep you all posted.
