A/n: was watching Gilmore Girls a year in the life, the last ep, when I got this interesting idea

Summary: (if you haven't seen Gilmore Girls, a year in the life. Then let me explain) you, Matt, Nick, and Chris go on a trip to Argentina. You guys get up to many things, like going to the best restaurants and having to dress up, when you guys end up dancing, doing the tango.

Pairing: Matt x fem-reader !

Warnings: none :) well warning its very adorable so get ready for cuteness overload.

Be prepared because this will be quite long :,)

Care to dance?

3:00... in the morning. I was exhausted, but I knew I had to get up. Me, Matt, Nick, and Chris are going to Argentina for a week, and let me tell you. I was beyond excited. "Is everyone up?" Nick yells from the kitchen. I sigh, as Matt gets his stuff ready. He looks at me. "We can sleep on the plane" he says, coming over to kiss the top of my head. "Why is it so early though" I whine, flopping back on the bed. "Because, it was the only good flight.. apparently" Matt says with an eye roll. I huff as I get up and get ready. We decided that this trip wasn't going to go on YouTube. We wanted to have a nice, relaxing vacation away from social media. "You two ready?" Nick asks me and Matt. I nod, still half asleep. Chris then comes along, slouching with a yawn. "Nick whyd you book it so early" Chris says not amused by this time of the hour. "Because it's going to be a long plane ride and it's good to get up early" Nick explains as he puts stuff into the car. "Says who?" Chris says. I get in the front with Matt, because he's the only one who can drive us.

We finally arrived at the airport getting ready to get on the plane. Me and Matt were seated with eachother with another guy. While Nick and Chris were a couple seats down from us, together. I start to fall asleep exhausted from getting up really early. I suddenly feel a head on me, knowing it was Matt I sigh in content. A little while later, Matt taps me making my look up at him. He hands me an airpod with a small smile. I take it and return the smile back at him. We shuffle the Playlist and just listen to some music, drifting off into a peaceful sleep.

It was nearing to the end of the plane ride. We land suddenly. "I'm still so tired" Matt says huffing. "Me too don't worry. We can have the longest sleep when we get to the hotel" I say starting to get up. We go get the bags and meet with Nick and Chris. "You two look terrible" Nick says. Matt glares at him. "Ok, ok sorry" Nick says holding up his hands in defense. "Are we going to the hotel now?" Chris asks. "We will. We'll go drop our stuff off then I have a list that we can do for today" Chris whines as Nick finishes his sentence. "Dont be a baby" Nick says. "Why can't we go back to the hotel and chill for a bit?" Chris argues. "Because thats not what we will be doing this whole trip. We are going to get out and have some fun" Nick says as we put our stuff into the cab. Nick gets into the passengers seat as me, Matt and Chris sit in the back. After a long ride we finally make it to the hotel. "Hi there, I booked in the other day" Nick says to the lady. "Name?" She says typing the keys on the computer. "Sturniolo" he sorts with the receptionist. Me, Matt and Chris just sit down and wait. "I'm so beyond tired" Chris yawns. "We all are" I state, resting my head on Matt's shoulder, resting my eyes, but not fully sleeping. Nick then comes back over with the key. "Right come on, we have alot to do today" he says grabbing a few of the bags. We get into the elevator, and go to our room. I flop onto the bed with a exhale. "No no, don't get too comfortable" Nick says, going to put his stuff away. "Well then what's the 'big' plan for today?" Chris asks, following Nick's actions. "Well I have a reservation at this lovely restaurant tonight, and I wanted to... Now before you say anything.. I wanted to dress up, because you can!" "Nick" Chris says stopping and looking at him. "What? It'll be fun! Plus we aren't just sitting around in this hotel all day everyday" I look at Matt. "That sounds kinda fun!" I say then looking at Nick. "Thank you y/n" Nick says with a smile, shortly looking to and from Chris and Matt. "I mean, I'm not too bothered, yeah why not" Matt says. "You got to be kidding me" Chris whines. "Come on you big baby, I promise you'll get a nap in" Nick says. "Youre annoying" Chris says falling on his and Nick's bed. "Oh you're going to be a joy to sleep with" Nick says sarcastically. "Guys lets stop fighting and get on with the day, it's already 1 in the afternoon" Matt states. I get up and get my stuff sorted while they keep talking. Nick has always got an agenda so I wouldn't doubt we would be all set. "What kind of stuff will we be wearing?" I ask. "Its a surprise!" Nick says with a bright smile, obviously excited. "But we are going to obviously know when we all get to the shops" Chris says. "I mean a surprise until then you dumbie" Nick retorts. "Ok well I'm ready to go" Matt says. "Yes yes, ok get everything you need" Nick says, getting the hotel room key and going to the door. I follow suit, as do the others.

We end up going to this big mall, it was quite crowded actually, must be popular. Nick leads us into a clothing shop that I had never seen before. It was full of Tango dresses, suits and outfits. "Omg we are going to go tango dancing!??" I ask Nick excited. "Yes!!" He says matching my energy. Chris huffs. "Someone's grumpy" Matt laughs. "You can't honestly tell me you want to do this, wear this?!" Chris says picking up a peice of fabric, on one of the dresses. "Chrisy, we aren't wearing dresses" Matt mocks, placing a hand on his shoulder. Chris shoves his hand off. "I can't believe I'm doing this" "will you stop moaning about it, it's all I'm hearing. We won't be there forever Chris" Nick snaps. "Fine" he says. "Look I wanted to do something nice, and fun for us all to enjoy. If you really don't want to then you can stay back at the hotel while we all go out" he says turning back around to look for an outfit. Matt gives Chris a look, coming over to me and Nick.

We get our outfits. My dress was red, very flowing and puffy. I loved it tho, it had gold stitches and little gold details. The triplets had suits, Matt matched me, because I insisted. And the other two had different ones. We eventually go back to the hotel, after doing a bit more shopping. Chris flops on the bed, face first. "That felt like forever" he says. "Yes well I'm going to let you have a nap, so you aren't as cranky" Nick says getting the outfits ready. I sit on me and Matt's bed and go on my phone. Chris gets under the covers, ready to have a small sleep. I laugh slightly at him. Matt comes and joins me on the bed, also going on his phones. "Oh and tonight we are leaving our phones here" Nick says. "WHAT" Chris says sitting up looking at him. "Dont start with me cranky pants" he then says warning Chris. "I think thats actually a good idea" Matt says. "Matt!!!?" "Yes Chris" Chris stares at Matt then Nick. "Like I said before you could always stay here" Nick shrugs. He huffs and lays back down again. "Get some rest maybe that'll sort your attitude" Nick says. "I hate you" Chris says through the pillow. Me and Matt start to laugh at Nick and Chris' little banter.

I hear all the loud music from inside this restaurant/bar. It sounded so enjoyable and chaotic. We all had our outfits on. I was a little too excited, I had never done this before so it was enduring for me. We enter to a bunch of people. Some were sitting eating, some were up dancing and having a blast. "Hello there" the lady at the front, greets us. "Hi, reservation for Nick" Nick says with a smile, looking around the place. "Right this way" the lady says, taking us over to a booth. We sit down and look at the menu. "Whats a bet they don't have any good food on here" Chris says about to open it. "You better not be like this the whole night Chris, or I will call a cab to take you back to the hotel" "atleast I don't look too crazy" Chris says. "There you go, no need to be a party pooper" Nick says smiling at Chris. I look at it all, drinks, food, everything. We get started on drinks though. I watch amazed, at the Tango dancers in the middle of the room. I watch their movements carefully, seeing as I've never learnt I had to watch to see what I needed to do. I watch as the man holds the woman's waist. I love the art of Tango and how they move as one. It was ethical to watch. The way they connect, the eyecontact. It was amazing. Considering it was loud Matt had to go close to my ear to say something. "Why don't we order the food and then go out and do that for a bit" he says. I look at him with a wide smile. "Ok!" I say looking back to the dancers, as Matt rests an arm ontop the booth behind my head, that we were in. The lady comes to take our orders. I was so thrilled to go out there and try to Tango. Matt taps me signaling that he's ready. I get up out of the booth and fix my dress. Matt holds out his hand for me to grab. I take it as we go out with all the rest. Chris and Nick sit at the booth watching us. Without me and Matt knowing, Chris gets his phone out and starts recording us. "I thought I told you to leave that at the hotel" Nick says staring at him. "Oh well" Chris retorts, still filming us. "Give it" Nick says grabbing it. "Hey!" "No I will keep the video but I'm holding onto it until we get back to the hotel" Nick says, putting it in his pocket. "Can we add it to the group acc, photo dump?" Chris asks Nick. "Sure I don't see why not" he lets out a breath. Me and Matt keep dancing. He kept eyecontact with me like all the others. It's safe to say, I love the Tango. This was going to be a fun night. As he dips me, the lady with our food comes and puts it on our table. We look at eachother and go to sit down with Chris and Nick. "Had fun?" Nick asks looking at both of us, but mostly at me. Probably because I was smiling like an idiot. "This place is so much fun" I say looking around, then back at Nick. "I'm so thrilled you are enjoying it y/n" he says digging into his food. I nod and do the same. "How bout you Matt?" Chris asks, eating aswell. "I'm enjoying myself too" he says, looking at me smiling. I return the bright smile, and continue to eat.

It was maybe like an hour later. We were all laughing and having such a good time. No phones, Chris was actually enjoying himself which was nice to see. I was so full. "Lets go dance!!" Nick says. I smile at how excited he was getting. "I'm going to chill here" I say laying back tired. "Matt or Chris? come on" Nick whines. "I'll go out there with you" Matt says, starting to get up. They go off and start to get down to the music. Me and Chris sit there. "Yo, I took a video of you and Matt before, when you guys where dancing" Chris says getting out his phone. "You what?" I say laughing slightly. "Look" he says giving me his phone. "Wait hold on, the rule was no phone" I say looking at him. "I didn't listen" he says with a goofy smile. I shake my head while laughing still. I watch the video of us dancing and smiling at eachother. It made me feel so warm and fuzzy. This was going to be a fun trip. "That was sweet" I say shooting Chris a small smile, handing his phone back. "You think we could post it on the group account, for the photo dump!?" I look at him. "I dont see why not! Ask Matt too tho" I say smiling. "Oh yeah no I would" he says looking at Nick and Matt having fun out there. "Dont you feel ridiculous?" He says, turning to face me. "No? Why would I? This is alot of fun" I say. "That dress looks annoying" he says. "Its actually not that bad, it's huge but it's fine" I say with a laugh. I look to my right and notice the waitor about to come over. He did that quite often actually. "Everything alright here" he says with a smile. Chris nods. "Yep!" I say smiling back. I watch him walk away, I then notice the waitor look over at Nick. I tilt my head finally clicking. Awe my heart. "What?" Chris says, looking at me. "Did you ever wonder why the waitor kept coming over here?" I say, looking over at Chris with a smile. "Oh no, I have noticed that tho" he says. "I think he likes Nick" I say smiling brighter looking over at Nicks bright smiling face. "Wait actually?" Chris says getting excited for his brother. "I'd say so yeah" I say looking at both Nick and Matt. They then shortly come over. Nick sits next to me as Matt sits next to Chris. Nick puts an arm around my shoulder and sighs contently. I smile at how happy he was. I then whisper in Nicks ear, excited to tell him. And see his reaction. "I think our waitor has taken a fancy to you" I say, pulling back to see his features. He looks at me and then smiles. "You think?" He asks. "I have a pretty big hunch" I say. "He keeps coming over here, and when he walked away I noticed him looking at you and smiling" I say. Nick looks over to our waitor, they catch eachothers eyes and smile at eachother. Nick turns back around red in the face, smiling.

It was now 8:00 pm. We were just about to get up and leave when the waitor comes over one last time. "I hope everything went well over here" he says politely. We all nod. "It was amazing, thank you" Nick says, smiling. The waitor then gets the last of the plates and secretly slides a piece of paper on the table. He looks at Nick and smiles. Walking off to go to another table. I look at Nick and go all fangirly. "Nick oh my gosh!!" I say excited for him. "Do I call him?" He asks me. "I'd say Maybe later on yes!!" I say. He looks at me and smiles. We all get up and start to walk out

It was now 10. We were sitting in the hotel just chilling out, watching TV. Safe to say, one of the most enjoyable days of my life. Being with my favorite humans, trying something out my comfort zone. It really was amazing. And I can not wait for what tomorrow brings.

Recently found your blog so I was wondering, thoughts on the Animaniacs reboot?

AAAA OMG WELCOME!!! HOPE UR ENJOYIN IT SO FAR \OUO/!!!

i LOVE this question and i have sO MANY THOUGHTS ABOUT THE REBOOT so ima try to break it down into my likes, dislikes, and hit or miss (things i liked some of the time but not all the time)

🌈 10 things i liked!!!!! 🌈 <-- in no particular order

1. THE THEME SONG REWRITE!!!! ITS GREAT!!! og series callbacks, DELIGHTFULLY MORE INCLUSIVE, all those unnecessary side characters cut out, no weird celebrity references JUST RLLY WELL DONE and im glad they just redid the old one instead of making a brand new one ITS A CLASSIC!! plus this way u rlly notice those differences and how great they are

2. SPEAKING OF nO BORING SIDE CHARAS... YEAH!! THAT!! perhaps an unpopular opinion but ive never been a fan of the side characters and watched the og show p much exclusively for the warners so i LOVE that its mostly about them now!! (( i do miss the mime tho but they shoulda been nicer to him u_u ))

3. also like the theme song: MUCH LESS CELEBRITY CAMEOS/REFERENCES there are still a few but i feel like they were WAY more abundant in the og series and im rlly glad they calmed down w that, its actually Not That Fun to try and spot all the celebrities

4. mORE “IRL”/TIME IN THE TOWER!!! while there are some shorts where the warners are “acting” (gold meddlers, warners unbound etc) the VAST MAJORITY(19) of the 26 warner shorts take place “irl”!! WE GET TO SEE THEM IN THE TOWER SO MUCH!! eating together, shopping together, TRICK OR TREATING TOGETHER!!! and i just LOVE this stuff its sO GOOD FOR CHARACTER BUILDING!!

5. DIVERSITY!!!! EVEN THE BG CHARACTERS!! EVEN IN BODY TYPE!!! no more fatness only as a joke and hotness as the only other option for women, PPL ARE AVERAGE AND I LOVE IT

6. OVERALL CONSISTENT QUALITY!!! THE ANIMATION IS REALLY INCREDIBLE AND BEAUTIFUL TO WATCH!!! that was one of the BIGGEST flaws of the og series, so many eps were animated poorly bc they were handed off to studios that rlly didnt know how to draw the warners so its HELLA to see them beautifully animated in EVERY ep of the reboot so far

7. nO HORNY JOKES...POSSIBLY ANOTHER UNPOPULAR OPINION?? bUT I NEVER RLLY LIKED ALL THESE HORNY JOKES GIVEN TO KIDS IN THE FIRST PLACE LKDKD its actually rlly neat to see how creative the writing gets when they cant just horny joke their way out of a situation ALSO THIS BIT WAS AMAZING

8. I RLLY LOVE THAT THE CEO DOESNT HATE THEM!!!!! it was so frustrating in the og series that the ceo wouldnt even hear them out EVEN WHEN IT WAS STUFF THAT WOULD BENEFIT HIM its nice that this lady is insane AND greedy aND YET ISNT REALLY MALICIOUS TOWARDS THE WARNERS AT ALL at least not any more than she is to anybody else ITS REFRESHING!! I LIKE NORITA

9. ANIME-NIACS!!!!! thATS ALL I GOTTA SAY ABOUT THAT LDJLKD

10. FANGIES!!!!!!!!! they always had fangy energy im so glad it finally manifested...

⭐ 4 things i didnt like ⭐ i was gonna make this a top 10 list but i couldnt think of 10 things i didnt like djkldkljd

1. THE REDESIGN.... yes i know i was just celebrating the fangs bUT other than that i rlly wasnt a fan of the redesign.. its just too ...animal?? the triangle noses and changing their white faces to beige just seemed rlly unnecessary imo..

aLSO THEY LOST THEIR CLOWNINESS!!! ;;;;; i miss that clown aesthetic... big round red noses, white faces.. also i loved it when characters would try to describe them and say things like THEY HAVE FACES LIKE A CREEPY CLOWN dLdlkjdJLK

im not sure why they couldnt at least stay w the white n black like the old cartoons theyre based on??? THERES EVEN A SONG IN THE REBOOT THAT SAYS “LIKE US, ITS BLACK AND WHITE” bUT... THEYRE NOT BLACK N WHITE ANYMORE LDKKDJ

also the redesign is a lot more angular/less round than the original and i jus prefer the sof..

i miss this ;n;

2. GROSS OUT HUMOR ..LIKE HONESTLY WTF LDLJKLJKDD theres not too much of it thankfully but the og series had like.. nONE so it was a shock when theyd suddenly zoom in on marie antoinette’s finger and it was LIKE THAT and the pigeon scene at the end of “the cutening” actually made me feel sick sdjkdjk JUST IN GENERAL IM NOT A FAN OF GROSS OUT HUMOR SO .. EUUGHGH

3. those random new shorts that are like???? whyd u get rid of the side characters if ur gonna have these guys anyway?? the gnome in ppls mouths and the alien guy?? neither were funny to me and again the gnome short was mostly gross

4. YAKKO CANT DO MATH?? YAKKO DOESNT KNOW WHAT PLEBIAN MEANS??? HELLO?? HE HAS A VERY COMPLICATED SONG WHERE HE BREAKS DOWN MULTIPLICATION AND ANOTHER WHERE HE SINGS EVERY WORD IN THE DICTIONARY!! hES SO SMART LET HIM BE SMART hES A HUGE NERD PLS...

💣 HIT OR MISS 💣

THE SONGS!!! while i love that they brought back the musical aspect of the show (its rlly not animaniacs without singing tbh) the songs were sUPER VARIED IN QUALITY IMO

the reboot song? AMAZING

the song about dot’s zit??? ... no..

🌈 OVERALL I HAVE A LOT MORE POSITIVE TO SAY ABOUT THE SHOW THAN NEGATIVE AND IF ANYBODY ASKS I ALWAYS SAY I LOVED IT!!! 🌈

IS IT PERFECT? NAH

IS IT FUNNY AND FUN AND IN GENERAL A SHOW THAT MAKES ME AS HAPPY AS THE OG SERIES DID? ABSOLUTELY 100%!!!

✨ GO WATCH IT!!! ✨

I just can't lol.

So yo guys. You wanna just umm pretend season 15 didn't happen.

Like it feels like a bunch of fanfic tropes all collage-d into one season like umm...

1. The whole filler episodes just. Wtf. Like I get it. The writers wanna make us feeel for the characters more so the ending will be more gut wrenching. But . Write it into the plot y'know? Don't waste my time Kay.

2. The Destiel confession, like applause for Misha's consistency of acting cause it didn't really come outta no where. But Dean's reaction?

And cas' death was just so wjfjwjwkf. Like I remeber this badass angle.fro. season 4 amd now he just dies like this. Like I get it. He's been on earth for so long and he's died multiple times and his grace has been taken multiple times but damn.. I want season 4 cas back so badly like they made him weaker throughout the show and just opf what an unsatisfying death for him.

3. Hahaha don't even get me started on Midam.

Like. Adam just dies off screen!!! Un how ? Explain! And like Chuck just somehow Bill cipher his ass?? So a vessel can be split from their archangels. And you're telling me Michael just didn't know about that and didn't like take precautions or did it himself safely!! So that he could snap Adam away to a safe place cause he cares about Adam, we saw that in ep. 8 sooo ummm...

4. Also the fact that Michael really said aww shit lost Adam the only thing I care about, welp let me join the person who killed him!!!!!!

Like nahh fam. If you wanna give Michael an evil arch have him go ballistic, have him try to kill EVERYONE Chuck included.

And this is crazy have him actually grieve like he would . Like why show Midam being friends then just have Michael as soon as he loses Adam just join the person who killed him?

5. Luci. Baby. What have they done. Brought my man back just to kill him. And so damn easily too. Like this biss didn't make us have half a season just trying to defeat him only to be killed just like that.

And him joining Chuck. I know we're trying to sell the whole daddy issue trope but umm I swear he would've still helped the Winchesters cause like he wants to stick it to the man y'know.

6. And Jack. Oooo Jackie boi. I know you're like the new Chuck but are you so conceited that you don't think to bring back you're father (cas) like again writers why show any father son shit between cas and Jack if he was just gonna forget about cas?

7. Also back to the fillers why show any bonding between team free will in past seasons and episodes. And just say f cas when the family fluff episodes came around like what!!!!!

8. Also the kill all gays shit. Like I couldn't care less for spn romance, but like why? Why kill Cas like lol sure be homophobic if you must but try to keep it in your closet....damn man killing my boi and for what.

9. Charlie. Whyd she have to die.

Why I like them:

for all my angry yelling and kicking and complaining you may be surprised to learn that clow(riol) is one of my favorite parts of ccs!

i think that having the Mystery and Legend of a long-dead wizard that hangs over sakura’s head at the start get light shed on it more and more so that we can see he’s just a person makes the world of ccs feel small and personal. it really stabilizes the heart of the series, what i love most about ccs- that it’s a story about individuals and the choices they make. the magic itself all traces back to one man and the way he felt it was right to act and to treat other people. i think he’s a fascinating character and a very very good choice of central figure.

Why I don’t:

THAT SAID, AAAAAGHHHHH HE IS HORRIBLE HE IS JUST A TERRIBLE LITTLE MAN I HATE HIM I HATE HIM SOOOO MUCH. even putting aside everything he* pulls as eriol, just the things he does as clow reed make me SO upset....LYING ABOUT HIS DEATH??? ELABORATE SETUP TO PRETEND KERO AND YUE HAVE A CHOICE IN THE MATTER OF CHOOSING THE NEW CARD MASTER BUT ACTUALLY KNOWING ALL ALONG AND HAVING A SPECIAL MAGIC ITEM MADE TO SEE THAT IT GETS DONE??? BREEZING INTO A TOWN TO STEAL A FORTUNE TELLER’S BUSINESS, GETTING HER NICE AND KATE BEATON NEMESIS.PNG’D, AND THEN IGNORING HER FOREVER??? it’s bad!! *(it’s complicated,) ive said this jokingly before but i think he just doesnt even think about other people having agency, that he’s not trampling but Guiding and Helping. i think part of his controlfreakiness is also a deep fear that he’s not enough, that he can’t keep a friend on his own merits so he’s gotta get his claws sunk in as much as possible, whether by emotionally living rent free in people’s heads or magical dependance. and that’s not a uniquely horrible belief, yknow, i think it’s very human and normal, but the problem is no one can criticize him. not with the amount of control he has over the people he surrounds himself with, the fact that he can physically shut down kero and yue any time he likes, etc. it’s not that power inherently Makes You Evil, it’s that power made it harder for people to say “hey stop that”, and if no ones telling him to stop then he must be doing fine!

Favorite episode (scene if movie):

GENUINE TIE BETWEEN THE BACK TO THE PAST EP OF THE ANIME AND THE SAKURA SEES THE TRUTH SCENE IN MANGA. i think both of them are great- the tightly controlled dreamy guided tour where she sees just what he wants her to see, AND sakura outpowering him and seeing the reality of his lies. in the manga when sakura sees him gives gentle headkisses to kero and yue before putting them to bed and eriol+fujitaka-ing i go AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ....... THEY LOVE SOMEONE WHO IS TERRIBLE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUU MY HEART. i headcanon that’s when he mind-messed with them, too, i think he had to touch them to do it and that was how.

Favorite season/movie:

bold answer but im going to say the implications left behind in the clow card arc of Why Do Cards Act Like That/Have Those Specialties. what about clow made him want to make a voice-stealing card, a small-object-moving-card, a body-swap card, etc? it’s good questions.

Favorite line:

in the mokona book when they say he said dogs dont have owners they have housemates, bc that explains SOOOOO much abt him and how he treated kero and yue lololol. if you think being a pet owner and a roomate are the same you’re gonna treat your roomates, uhhhm, bad.

also if eriol counts its him in the wonderland ep like YOU DONT KNOW IF IM NOT THE KINDA PERSON TO PRETEND TO BE A CAT and I THINK YOU AND LI ARE SO DUMB I HAVE TO BITE MY TONGUE CONSTANTLY TO NOT INSULT YOU and BUT I CANT ACT LIKE THIS OR KERO AND YUE WILL KNOW IM CLOW. so like. was clow just like that then.

Favorite outfit:

uh his regular clothes are cool. theres an illustration on him in this cool coat with like a sun pin on it too. whenever i draw him in something frilly i have a huge brain. cant deny the guy has style and aesthetics. sakura’s first staff, look at it!! the style it has!!!

im neutral-positive on clowyuuko cuz i havent holic’d since high school. you can refer to the answer i gave abt yue for clowyue thoughts (tl;dr: [touches ground] “something terrible happened here” ). madoushi is just kate beaton nemesis comic.

i think it would be funny if albus dumbledore was his ex.

yuuko again i guess? and him and all his creations. headcanon territory even though that’s actually the next question but you asked for my thoughts so here they are: i think of him as trying to be a sort of fun camp counselor or teacher type for kero+yue and the cards- specifically a role with an authority behind it, but without the same sort of responsibility that a parent would have. or, i guess, lacking an unconditional love, always an undertone of you having to prove yourself. someone who you go to to learn from, but if he likes can also go “no no im just like you, now let’s have fun!”. it’s hard to explain, but there’s a difference.

what i’m trying to get at here is i think it’s significant that the only creations he has that we see him truly ‘raise’, (going by the info+lack of it we have, anyway, i fill in the blank for myself that kero and yue and the cards all showed up full of knowledge, fully formed, CLAMP DO NOT INTERACT!!!!!), were the mokonas, with yuuko. it was another person’s influence that brought a parental attitude in, it’s not something he ever wanted to be. there’s also a healthy dose of “yue textually had a crush on clow and i will not, no way, let you make that any more unfortunate than that already is”, i’ll admit, but i think that’s just a puzzle piece of the whole theory here. i think it would also be funny if he knew people like tolkein (eriol’s a tolkeinverse name if i remember correctly) and c.s. lewis (side note, i find the fact that clow is an actively practicing christian really funny), but i dont want to think too deeply about that sort of realworld mix, yknow.

Head Canon:

i think pranks were highly encouraged in his house and none of the clow cards are being intentionally destructive, just acting in ways that were totally normal at home, and are genuinely shocked to learn that people will get seriously injured without clow there to cushion their damage.

Meanwhile, far away from this garbage...

Chris, having been evicted from Fine’s McMansion, wanders the streets of mumblemumble aimlessly. Don’t be fooled by her new fancy dress. Basically, she’s a combat-competent hobo.

“no food. no home. no victories. this sucks. whyd you do it, fine? we coulda been great together. but no. ya fired me. now i look like im prancing the red light district with a highly advanced superweapon around my neck.”

“no... hibiki’s to blame. ever since that genderbent little mac showed up to fight me, it’s been all downhill. fine thought me a laughstock because i couldnt take out her oversized boxing gloves, and now she beat me while i had nehushtan. god... i wish i never met that damn hamster faced chubby cheeked nerd.”

Chris spies two kids talking to each other, one of them crying. Chris immediately makes an assumption, believing the big bro is bullying his sis.

“hey! stop nicking her lunch money, twerp”

Chris currently is a firm believer of corporeal punishment.

But the sister deflects the blow. Chris can’t even defeat children right now. Truly, this is a record low for her. You know you blew it when even kids are schooling you on basic morality. She then tells the little girl to stop crying, ironically mirroring her brother.

The infamous double T-Pose maneuver. Chris, you might as well get a shovel and start digging your own grave.

“i keep doing bad things badly, and now im doing good things badly... when fine said i was bad... did she just mean im not talented?”

Chris, finally, does a good thing and helps these kids find their parents.

“yeah. hibiki saved a kid when she got her gear. guess what? bam! im saving two! that’s fifty percent more kid per kid saved. take that, weirdo.”

The kids call her out on Chris singing unconsciously, and Chris gets flustered over it. Dawwwwww.

Chris manages to get them to safety to their Dad...

...while brutally lying about it, making Chris look like a predator. There’s a very crushing irony at play here, given who Chris used to serve.

“ugggggggggggggggghhhhhh hes not even gonna payyyyy meeeeeee why the fuck did i dooooo thiiiiiiissssss”

“hey, you know. you kids have a really nice relationship with one another. care to give me tips on how to be an empathetic human being capable of making friends?”

A cold wind blows through Lydian Apartment 69-L. (I don’t actually know if that’s their room number, I just made it up.)

“you already killed me the moment you lied. also im taking the bottom bunk so i dont have to see your face coming down the ladder.”

“miku you cant hide in this depression den forever. i know i hurt you and im sorry for it, but please understand i literally couldnt do it. you saw there were punches and violence and stuff... i didnt want you tied to that...”

Sadness wafts in the den of lies Hibiki has been forced into.

Ryoko loredumps about how the Symphogears work and are immune to the noise on her blog, ‘hornyonmainforscience.org’, her hybrid science journal slash kink zone. It’s mostly a recap with some pretty good soft techno beats in it.

“i made a custom brew of red bull, five hour energy drink, coffee, and cream. i call it gamer girl piss.”

“damn. that’s some good piss.”

She muses about how Hibiki has managed to break the limitations of her Symphogear, making her a totally unique specimen. Wait, where have we heard this before...?

Hey... Ryoko... let’s just... cool it a bit with the Hibiki pictures... come on...

Ryoko touches upon the Custodians and the Curse of Babel. We ain’t touching that shit until later, because that’s another shitfuck box of crazy just ready to jump us in a dark alleyway to rob us of our wits.

Back to Lydian:

“miku whats the answer to the first three multiple choice questions”

The Anime Janai crew show up to break some icebergs with a goddamn sledgehammer. As the self-aware Gods of this realm, they got very tired of this poor display of angst, and have decided to directly intervene.

Nevermind. They came for her kneecaps, and they most certainly got them.

They bring up the fact that Hibiki isn’t doing her work and wonder if she has a job on the side, which isn’t allowed by the school. Miku gets annoyed and bails, with Hibiki running after her. Unfortunately, Miku runs faster...

“oh god miku not the rooftop whatever you’re thinking just dont do it! please!”

“no. i came here to angst, since this is the Maximum Angst Zone.”

“i..... okay! okay, that’s fair! rooftops are the perfect place to look sad while getting proper air ventilation, thats fine”

It really would have been better played if it was played off that she felt hurt not because of the lie, but because she felt like she could have helped her better having known the truth, and it being a self-loathing sort of scenario for not being there better for her and not fully understanding the risk at play.

But no, instead, we get this.

there's kind of a rush from starship to make mx big before they start enlisting i think :( it's kind of sad to think about. that's probably why they've been working nonstop since all in. i think starship expected them to make it big from debut (thus the rush to get a first win and taking their phones away) and mx was promised that but things didn't go as planned. at least that's the feeling i'm getting. i think the success of part 2.5 will determine if they're going to stay in japan or korea

Personally I think that some were gonna make it regardless (jooheon, shownu, kihyun) and that the others weren't finalized until later, but idk man it's still a big debate
