Dragon!Reader: Looks Serious But is A Softie?! 👀

Okay, first of all: the fact that you're a dragon to begin with? I'm pretty sure Liyue just got a huge promotion. Their archon is a literal dragon! Their Divine Creator blessed their Geo Archon with the wrath that challenges the gods he faced in the Archon War!

Honestly, Zhongli would be amazed to know that the Creator is a dragon themself. Would legit admire you and see you as their idol or something.

Oh, but this is just the start. You were helping Sara at good hunter to collect some meat because you were bored. She greatly compliments your efforts, and you try to brush it off, play it cool. It would've worked if it hadn't been your darn traitorous tail wagging like a happy puppy behind you, showing the world the unnecessary fact that you were flustered.

With this in mind....guess who told Lisa, Kaeya, and Childe...

Lisa

The moment she heard the little incident at Good Hunter, she just had to try it herself! In a respective manner of course—she wouldn't dare nor want to do something that'll make the Creator angry! Just a little tease—surely, the creator won't be too mad?

She will probably invite you to help in the library, sorting out books or double checking the list of checked out books, making sure their not overdue.

When you're done the task, what happens, you may ask?

"My, thank you so much for your help, Your Grace~ You surely have a sharp eye even for such minor chores..." She says this with that teasing glint in her eyes, and most importantly: that smirk when she's being very sussy flirty.

The moment she sees the way your tail flaps around behind your back as your impassive face responds with something casual, this woman knows she's hit the jackpot.

"Aw...Your Grace, you truly are very adorable."

Kaeya

This man might be just as bad as Lisa, except much more sly than—ahem, flirty.

His excuse of seeing you becoming the big softie of a dragon was to ask you, of all things, to visit the gosh darn tavern for a drink or two. And, to his delight, you agreed.

It was also a good thing Charles was manning the tables tonight, because Diluc would give him the death glare for bringing someone such of high importance to get wasted with him.

But naturally, and as Kaeya suspected, you're persistence to help your people took over, and you instead spent half of the night helping Charles clean the tables. So, naturally, when Charles insists you relax, Kaeya's gotta compliment you.

"Your Grace, you sure do know how to keep things organized. That much is to expected by someone as high as you, though—must've been a piece of cake." You confirm that it was, but even with the that, your draconic tail does that little dance behind your back for the whole world to see how happy you were to be complimented for your hard labors.

This man will CHUCKLE at the sight, but won't comment on it. But he will give you that smirky smirk with THE eye that says it all. You groan into your palms again—your tail really seems to like betraying you, honestly.

"What, Your Grace? Don't be so shameful about yourself—honestly, I quite envy how cute you are." Get red-faced, bois. This captain will make you flustered till the end of your days.

Childe

The moment he hears about the incident in Mondstadt by his gossiping Fatui Agents, man's just got to try it.

So, he does the most logical, least-suspecting thing to request your presence: challenge you to a fight.

Yes, the others called him crazy for it, but does this mad lad care? Nope! This guy wants to see your tail flap in joy, that's all! Besides, it's not like he sees it often since Zhongli hides his draconic traits from the whole wide world.

So you accept the invitation to spar with him, and—do I need to tell you? You guys sparred for a good few hours. Unlike in-game playable Childe, you now have to deal with more of a in-game Boss-like Childe instead, with how many moves this guy has.

After a good sparring match or two, you guys decide to take a break. Mainly you, since you are legit dying right now.

"Good job, Your Grace! Your combat skills are as great as ever! Much expected, haha!" Yep, he delivers what his true intention is. And yes, your tail does the little dance it does, no matter how much you try to calm it and shrug it off as a daily thing to get used to.

This mad lad, like a true mad lad would, would grin. Very widely. He knows he won this "battle"—man is ecstatic about it.

But he is a little sympathetic if you act annoyed about it—it reminds him of what his younger siblings would do. If you're really upset about it, he'll try to cheer you up.

Look out for more sparring matches, he's probably pulling this stunt until you're immune to such things or you get your tail under control.

"Don't be upset, Your Grace! I'm sure if my little brother were here, he would find you cool no matter what!"

Never had Kaeya assumed the Gods would favor him. Not after the promise he made, the bonds he shared with both his fathers—his brother, and how easily his patchworked life tore beneath his feet, his right eye a constant reminder of all his failures.

So when Aether, Amber, and Lisa extended a hand toward his figure, purple light enveloping his being, bubbling with warmth that mended the bitterness of his past, and opened his eyes to the heavens—

How could he not become Your believer?

Soon, he would travel the entirety of Mondstat, escaping his duties whilst discovering treasures, receiving divine gifts: goblets, circlets, feathers—and participating in...rather strange rituals. You made him carry a hefty bag of mora and flowers, gems, remants of slain regisvines, to the zenith of Starsnatch Cliff before imbuing him with unknown strength that coarsed through his veins.

Aether called it an "initiation", to forever be acquainted with divine blessings, to be Yours. He affirmed the sole reason he'd been able to save Dvalin, the entirety of Mondstat, was due to You, granting him the privilege of becoming a vessel.

"...Vessel, huh?" The word stuck to his tongue like a bitter saccharine. Even worse--You seemingly vanished, leaving he and his comrades hollowed by Your absence. After a desperate letter and trek sent back home, the reception back in the City of Wind was nothing less than suffocating.

A small gathering of vision wielders greeted them at the gate, welcoming them home. Yet, the sun never penetrated his body. The bite of sheer cold blossomed in his veins, making him tremble with every step he took—the first of many which he had to be conscious of; and breathing, keeping his heart beating, leaving him winded and dizzy. Your gaze took away his autonomy, rendering him a spectator in his own corpse, but You left him with the most joyous of dreams and slumbers; abandoning him forced everything back into his muscles, and he scrambled to remember what it was like to be alive without you. However, that was hardly the worst part.

His friends who cheered at his safety—

their smiles did not meet their eyes.

Instead, replaced was envy, resentment, and the brewing notion that he was a fraud, tricking the Creator and seducing You into loving him. They swirled, in vile concoctions, behind each of their pupils. Yet they paraded around him like he, himself, was divinity. Did they all wish he never came back? Would they tear each other apart for a chance at Your Grace?

Maybe his death was an opportune moment.

Unfortunately, he lived.

"Welcome back, everyone. I'm glad the Creator brought you back safe and sound." Jean bowed slightly, relief written on her lips.

"Hmm...go on and rest for now. Tommorow, you can tell us what all your travels uncovered." Albedo smiled, nodding at him and Lisa in particular.

Klee bounced on the soles of her heels, waving her hands to the weary travelers. "Yay! Kaeya's back! And Amber and Lisa and Mr. Honorary knight!" she cheered, beaming.

"Ah...why don't we all go back to the cathedral? I can heal you all of any injuries!" the deaconess suggested, a strain of a smile forming on her face.

"...Welcome back," Diluc muttered, most likely dragged along by the Acting Grand Master.

"Hey, on the way there, why don't I sing you all a song? No wine in exchange!" The enigmatic bard hummed, giving them all a wink.

Kaeya heaved a ragged breath, forcing a small laugh out his lips. "Sorry, but I think I'll pass. I'd much rather rest at Angel's Share," he responded, ignoring the pointed glare from a certain redhead. "After all, the Creator never afforded us any sort of wine; I'd certainly die if I had to spend another day without it."

"Huh...?" Barbara said, "b-but, Sir Kaeya—"

She was interrupted with a solemn headshake from the librarian.

"None of us are hurt," Lisa reaffirmed, "let him be...We'll tell you everything."

The Calvary Captain huffed, breaking away from the group and stumbling into the tavern, his countenance morphed into the expression he held all those years ago, when he first received his vision.

Haunted.

Nothing had changed since his leave, though there were far less customers than usual. Did the other citizens feel You vanish too? Or was that a curse reserved only for the puppets You deemed fit for control?

"Charles, the strongest, if you please."

Alcohol had left his throat burning, a reprieve from the sudden, chilling, desolation. After his "ascension", he was no longer the same man. In gazing upon him, You stole away a piece of his soul, a void only able to be filled by You and You only.

It wasn't too long before the bar's door opened again.

"What are you up to, Kaeya?" Diluc stayed near the entrance, not bothering to move toward the stools.

"I'm not in the mood," he hissed, downing his glass too quickly to savour.

Diluc forewent the usual quips he'd aim toward his brother, settling in a silent scrutiny. He was never one to favor the Gods. They stood in one another's solitude, drinking until the "Darknight Hero" woke to dusk.

Then, Kaeya was truly alone. Truly, utterly alone, with not even the eyes of which he'd come to expect. After all, he, a barely devoted follower, could never stay in the Divine's gaze forever.

Even so, the ache in Kaeya's heart screamed that the Gods had forsaken him again; being a vessel was far more merciful than being 'Kaeya'. Because if he wasn't a vessel, he was emptier than he'd ever been.

And when Lisa wrote to him, musing about how his Prototype rancour ended up in the hands of the Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing, how strong she was—he knew he'd been discarded.

What if God!Reader had a kid? Either adopted or not. What if they were pregnant when coming to Teyvat or got into a secret relationship and it happened? What would the acolytes think? What would they do?

Rest assured the child will be the most spoiled child to ever live in the whole world. You want the toy? The little teddy bear? Auntie Ningguang got it for you. You want to go out and pick some flowers around Mondstadt? Big sister Amber has your back with big brother Razor on guard. Do you want to go and play? Take Klee with you but promise not to do anything bomb related okay? The acolytes will see the child, adopted or not, as an extension of you which means if something happens to them the perpetrators should be ready for an incoming war. 

If the child has been there way before you two were thrown in Teyvat and then the acolytes would take it as their responsibility to be the second parent. They’ll happily become their guardians, playmates, teachers and protectors if you become busy with your job in Teyvat. I have a feeling it will take time for the child to adjust because they are used to technology for sure and Teyvat’s closest technology is not social media related but fine tools for work and adventures. 

In the adjustment period, acolytes will make their own schedules and it will be a by nation schedule to ensure that the time spent is equal. In Mondstadt they have activities such as learning how to use a wind glider with Amber and playing around with Klee and Diona. Kaeya for sure will be their guardian in the city because Jean is busy with her job as the acting grandmaster. Sucrose will be a dear and teach them the language of Teyvat with Albedo teaching them how to draw. Venti loves playing music with them but Rosaria has to keep watch because she left Venti alone; they were both found on the top of the statue in front of the cathedral. No worries about getting injured, we have Auntie Barbara on call. 

Lisa loves helping them fall asleep by reading a book for them and seeing them napping in the library is a common occurrence. Outside the city, Diluc would be their protector with Eula at the distance watching out for whoever that will try harming them. A small part of the Dawn Winery was converted into a mini playground for them to play around with Elzer and Tunner teaching them about the grapes. No wine though, just grape juice. Bennett and Razor will be their big brothers and would take them to adventures (with another acolyte following them to ensure their safety of course). 

They have more playmates in Liyue than in Mondstadt. The Liyue teens (Chongyun, Xiangling, Xingqiu, and Xinyan) will always set a time aside to play hide and seek around, Liyue is a big place at all and sometimes hide and seek takes a long time to finish. Qiqi’s memory is not good, which is why they are paired with Ganyu and Keqing if something happens. Yanfei once tried to teach them law saying that ‘the earlier the better’ but she was chastised by Madame Ping and the law book reading became story times. 

Hu Tao once tried to take them to Wuwang Hill but it got them frightened and ran away, luckily Xiao was able to calm them down. Hu Tao is grounded from taking them outside the city from then on. Ningguang and Childe, though they hate each other, will do their best to provide for the child. It has become a competition inside Childe’s brain though. From time to time when Yun Jin needs a time off, she will sneak outside the city with the child and Shenhe tagging along with them. If the city becomes suffocating, Zhongli will take them to different places like Qinghe village or carry them in his arms to go up Mt. Aocang to meet Cloud Retainer. 

Going to Inazuma, Kazuha and Beidou would be their guards. Thankfully, the Shogun already removed the storm barrier around the city or else it would be hard for them to move around. I have a headcanon that Beidou can take care of kids because the crew has a small boy and that also means that the child has a playmate whenever they need to travel. 

Kujou Sara’s headache doubled after the child took a liking and started going around with Arataki Itto. Yomiya’s fireworks shows became double as well with the child becoming their mini designer. The Komori teahouse is now filled with laughter because Ayaka and Ayato will always come visit. By Thoma’s words though, they are banned from using weird stuff in hotpot games. Taking a nap at Narukami temple with Sayu is now allowed by Yae Miko who loves spoiling the child with sweets. I have a feeling Sangonomiya shrine is their new favorite place as well and that some parts of it was child proofed by Gorou and Kokomi. Raiden who has been lonely for years will do her best to be a big sister or even a second parent to the child wondering if the warm feeling in her chest is the same feeling Makoto felt when she was still around her. 

If the acolytes are yanderes, they will not hesitate to use the child to gain your attention and might even subtly force them to pick a favorite place or acolyte. 

If the god! reader got pregnant by one of the acolytes in secret, it’s gonna be a mini war. You thought the secret relationship could be hidden until you went to the Narukami Shrine and Yae sniffed what’s going on already. The others brushed it off as Yae just joking until you woke up one morning complaining about the smell followed by throwing up. Before any of the archon could even go near, your acolyte lover came barreling to the door asking you if you’re alright and that’s when things clicked. 

Almost immediately regardless of power or money, your acolyte lover will be put to questioning because ‘really bro? Our god?’  This lover of yours will only be released by your orders. Some acolytes are salty about it though but it won’t stop them from trying to get your attention. If the pregnancy is sensitive, it’s high likely that the acolytes won’t let you travel and you’ll be spending the whole three terms in one nation only. Healers all around will be having their own home to stay in the nation that you choose and everyday the nation will be receiving tons of offerings and baby clothings and toys.

Once the baby is born, jealousy is likely to happen because it’s over. Your attention is now focused on the baby and your lover. Acolytes like Klee, Qiqi, Diona and Sayu don't mind it though, they just see the baby as a smaller sibling but to the older ones, it is different. Once that happens, they will persist and do their best to take care of the baby. In yandere context, having the baby born doesn’t save your acolyte lover though because the other acolytes will try their hardest to take them out of the picture.

Summary: (Anon Request) Orphanage sagau au; A lovely couple unable to have children of their own visited the orphanage in hopes to find a family. But instead of that, the children in the orphanage all tried to avoid them. It was a surprise when you got a call a few months later telling you how the wife is now pregnant, thanking you much to your confusion and…. Jean, Barabara what did you do???.....Lisa??

Razor

You looked at the couple and then their profiles as they looked at you nervously, unable to have a baby of their own they hoped to find a son or daughter to adopt and create a family. The man worked as a small businessman with his own small company while the woman was a housewife.

You looked at Razor who was looking at you curiously at what you were reading and why you have brought him to the office and smiled softly at him. To be honest you were really really worried about this. Worried about how something could go wrong here but you took a deep breath and just hoped that everything turns out well and that Razor would find a new home.

Razor is a good kid, a kind child. Sure he is clueless sometimes and has a huge dislike to vegetables that he would turn his nose to rather than eat it that you have to reason with him that he should eat them but other than that he listens to you and almost always follows you around when he could… he was almost like a lost puppy. So surely nothing would happen here.

How wrong could you be... the conversation between Razor and the couple was going great at least that is what you thought how should you know that when one of them tried to pat Razor in the head would lead to Razor biting the person's hand???

The situation got out of hand really quickly so you weren't surprised the couple didn't want to adopt the boy after the man's hand was somehow infected and choose to look for another child… Razor also avoided them and even you when he notices them here. You sighed mentally when you watch him avoid you, unknow to you that Razor was listening to his mentor, Lisa. Who was watching you from afar with a small smile on her face, it would take more than this to get rid of them, sweetie.

Arataki Itto

You dreaded when you heard Itto's surprise and amazement when he heard what Razor had done to the person who wanted to adopt him. The sparkles in his eyes as he asked Gorou the full details.

You hoped in your heart that you would not be seeing another incident like Razors again after teaching the boy that he was in the wrong and that it was bad, when you saw Razor's sad face as guilty as you felt you thought that it would be the last time this happened.

WHAT were you supposed to do when the husband was bitten again by another child and to your suspension, it was actually Itto! The couple was trying to talk to the cheerful, and because the boy was so positive and full of energy they started to like the boy.

You weren't sure how it happen but after they left from what Itto told you gloomily that he knew that they want to adopt someone and that he didn't want to go. And because Razor was able to avoid getting adopted by biting the person he thought that it would a good idea to do so too!

As much as you became soft for the boy with his pleading eyes and begs, you didn't give him his dessert that day as a punishment for biting someone.

You didn't see Itto, raving to Gorou that biting others worked and that the boy should also do the same thing if someone was looking to adopt the boy.

Jean and Barbara

Maybe because of the two incidents the couple started to look at the girls instead, a bit scared of being bitten again by the boys. (When they went near Gorou the boy showed his…rather sharp canines that surprised the couple while boys like Kaeya and Childe both tease the couple that they would bit them if they came near. That gleam in their eyes both even with a smile told the couple that it was a bad idea to go near them)

The girls were much easier to talk to, some were sassy (*coughcoughtSaraandRosariacough*) sure, some avoided the couple almost as if they were scared (Ayaka and Sucrose) while others cut the talk short….. Okay, maybe they were having a little bit of a difficult time.

The couple was really having a hard time and they almost gave up but gave their last shoot when they saw two blond girls sitting together as the shorter one helped the older sister with her ponytail.

Jean and Barbara, the couple smiled at how sweet the two were. The two girls were hesitant to talk to them but they weren't really able to outright deny talking to the couple. The couple didn't say anything about adoption but instead asked the two girls about their relationship and how it is like living in the orphanage and what was their favorite colors and food, small talk.

The girls were kind to answer also asking the couple how they meet each other and small questions here and there. The man noticed how mature Jean was, almost too mature.

You were watching them from the window, peeking at how things were going. Really you should not be doing this and give them their privacy but after the fact that the husband got bitten twice you were a bit worried even tho you didn't think that Jean or Barbara would bite the couple you just want to make sure! Anything could happen!!

But after a few minutes, nothing happened. No biting, no big negative reactions just chatting away, you can't hear what they were saying but you watched the couple’s faces which didn't show stress like before and after a while you let them talk, giving them privacy when Lisa called you asking you to get a book that was too high for her to reach.

You didn't see what happened next… and maybe it was something that was already planned when Lisa smiled at you gave her the book telling you how this book was actually Razor’s favorite books because there was a wolf in the story.

You let the girl go, and when you returned the couple finished talking with Jean and Barbara. You asked the couple how did it go, and they told you that they don't think they would be adopting anymore… They weren't rude about it or anything even after the much trouble the kids put them in. They were polite to you when they said their goodbyes. Yet you noticed the determined look in the wife’s eyes as she pulled her husband's arm speeding towards the car…. Did something happen?

You asked the two girls and they told you nothing happened instead they just talked about like and such which confused you even more but you decided not to dig too deep and let them go play with the other children.

(They immediately went to Lisa. Who was waiting for them as she read a book for Razor.)

It was after a month or two did you get a phone call, where they introduced you as the couple that visited before much to your surprise. What surprised you even more was when the wife told you that she was pregnant! You congratulate them, and the husband jokingly said that if getting bitten by kids was the reason why they finally had their own children he would do it all over again.

There was a hint of seriousness in that tone of the man, yet you can't ask for more information when the couple was quick to change the topic. The last thing they told you was to say hi to Jean and Barbara and that the two girls have their thanks. The moment the call ended you called the two girls.

You asked them what happened but they avoided your eyes as they told you that nothing happened that time a month ago you tried to gently push them again but the more you pushed them to talk the more stubborn the two girls got that in the end you had to give up.

Lisa was hiding behind the door watching the whole scene with a smile on her face.

When you first came into tevat it was almost like a dream. I mean you were just sitting inside your room waiting for your Genshin screen to show up and then you all of a sudden came here!? You were confused and scared I mean how did you end up here? The first thing you did was check your surroundings and off the bat you immediately knew that you were in mondstad. Just like in your dreams of meeting this beautiful world with all your favorite characters by your side “wow” you said “so this is really what Mond looks like!” But that all ended when you first entered the city. So many people were staring at you but why? It started to get worse when you could here distant insults coming from the people in the city. When you were done walking around the city for a bit someone finally said something it was a knight from the knights of favonious. Ordering you to come with them to see Jean you ofc immediately said yes not like you really had a choice because they would force your either way . When you entered to headquarters Jean immediately told you to to not do anything but wait outside of her office. it was quite the long wait but until you entered you saw keaya , Lisa , Jean , Amber , Eula all glaring at you with dark cold eyes. Jean was the first to speak “who are you and what you doing inside are city wearing are creators face.” You responded and told her your situation telling her that you just randomly got pulled into this game. “Well imposter! Your going to have to prove your our creator.” “What!? No way who even is this creator or god your talking about I’m no imposter!” You pleaded. “SILENCE.” Immediately you shut your mouth and just took what ever was about to come your way. “Jean” Lisa said “our creator has golden blood maybe we should test to see if they really are the creator?” “Your right.” So there for Jean took out her sword and and made her way over to you. Amber held you down while Eula forced your hand to Jean. And Lisa and keaya was prepared to attack if your blood was not gold. “Well imposter are you ready?” Jean didn’t even wait for a response and forced open a cut in your hand. “Well what do you see?” Lisa said. “I see gold” you had no idea that you had gold blood this whole time and when they immediately saw they all bowed down to you. “Welcome to Mondstad your grace.”
