!! CHAPTER 7 / DIASOMNIA ARC SPOILERS !!

Here are some details we can get with the new update so far (Part 2):

Lilia allows the group to go with him under the condition that they will fight as well, Silver then mentions to the others that we need to be careful since he doesn't know what happens when someone dies in a dream

A new battle system is introduced, which is similar to the tartarus battles in Chapter 6 (ah yes more suffering)

It was also mentioned that there were no "Knights of Dawn" when the group reached the human campsite

When the group were fighting the Silver Owls, they revealed a name "Henric" (don't know who that guy is yet btw)

Turns out that even in the past Lilia was still a bad cook 💀 (dude tried to roast mice)

It is also revealed by Lilia that they have more delicate tounges so it's easy for them to tell if something funny was added into the food

One of Lilia's homescreen lines mentions that he was taken in as an orphan by the queen thus having loyalty to her....(so like father like son) and this is probably also the reason why he doesn't seem to remember his actual birthday

Malleus mother namedrop (her name is Mallenoa), and she's expecting a child to hatch from her egg (and Sebek knowing it's Malleus calls him egg-sama 🥹)

Anyways Mallenoa is a badass as she commands the imperial guards

what are your fave mobile games??

to be honest i don't really play that many at the same time but ill talk historically, it makes the most sense anyway. btw this got really long

OG show by rock - one of the most fun mobage rhythm games EVER, the portait orientation 3 button setup looked deceptively easy but it has some of the most evil, vile beatmaps ive ever seen in a mobile game. AND THAT'S CRAZY!!! never gonna forgive sanrio for killing it and making its successor a shitty bandori clone (og sb69 was bound to die anyway bc it had insane rarity creep, but the cheap seeming bandori clone successor that didn't even have half the original bands at the time of EoS two years into launch was a huge slap to the face). the art in the cards was so much more charming than the ones in the new game, they weren't bad but you, me, her, he, them, everyone, we all KNOW what had more soul. i think the only thing the new game had over the old one is the interactive aspect via the homescreen live2d. also cause yasu was in it

fate/grand order - still my forever game, its a game where i dont feel pressure to do anything, you can use anyone you love. i can stop playing for weeks and come back and not feel an insane sense of FOMO which is an issue with a lot of newer mobage. i think a lot of people outsource their opinion on fgo exclusively from negative opinions which makes me kinda sad. the story is great, you can pick up the game at any time, and to those who find that kind of thing important: farming gems is easy. i say give it a shot yourself. ofc there are questionable things given the original source and its origins, not to mention the premise. but i do believe that despite its flaws i think people should reevaluate it fairly and not base it on the time they downloaded NA for 10 minutes and didn't roll an ssr right away after 20 rolls.

mahoutsukai no yakusoku - i'll be honest i have chosen not to play the game properly until an english version comes out bc i do not want to play a clicker in a language i am not very proficient in. HOWEVER. unironically one of the best stories i've read in mobage history, characters are great, i think it has wide appeal and the devs seem to understand that "joseimuke" paradoxically is something that can be enjoyed by all kinds of people (also it is a series that is kind to both fujoshi and yumejoshi. coexisting peacefully afaik). super recommend the story if you like magic, worldbuilding and interesting characters!!! bunta is a great writer. im a fan of idolish7 as well so i can vouch (also you can select your protag's gender which isn't crazy but in a game like this, i super appreciate it)

love live school idol festival - i want you idol twitter and adjacent cunts to put respect to her name. RESPECT. SIF has never gotten her flowers from any of you facetious little slimeballs and you can deny it all you want but not only was this the blueprint but it also was probably what got you into the things you like in the first place. in a world where every other rhythm game is a bandori clone, i smile knowing SIF2 will keep the spirit of SIF alive (hopefully). the cards were cute, mu's discography is certified classic and anyone denying it in 2023 hates fun, and despite how archaic it was and its MANY flaws, i believe firmly that it deserves respect not only as an idol game but as a mobage in general. it really broke ground being localized when it was.

nikke - definitely top 10 most shocking things of the century that i played this and am still playing. its uh, very flawed, the wall sucks and once you hit that plateau in power level the struggle to catch up to content power walls is kinda depressing, but it has a lot of heart that keeps me logging in and talking to my girls. it's still unabashedly horny (though its a trick actually, a lot of the characters are more covered up than expected and it REALLY pisses a lot of the game's fanbase off), but i'm really enjoying the story. i think my pleasant surprise is so insanely high that it deserves a spot on here-- i think if you let it cook it mostly won't disappoint you. i love most of the characters :) korean kamige

argonavis AAside - i miss you. argonavis still lives, so i do not mourn what is living, but dabues was a special little game because it did not contain the evils of bandori. the gacha was fair, the spark ceiling was 100 rolls(!), but it was mismanaged from the start, fuck dena. im sad the new game will be a clicker but i will be there for argonavis no matter what. was pretty much what garupa should strive to be in terms of A GAME but unfortunately such days do not come to pass.

honorable mention cause its EOSing soon probably and im too bitter to talk about it positively rn given the current shitshow the jp version is in (ily global): vanguard zero, also megido72 because i only started playing it in december but im enjoying it a lot so far. i guess dream!ing also gets a mention. i will not elaborate

this is a postscript but i've played a lot of kusoge for tapjoy rewards and let me tell you. people playing regular well known japanese/korean/chinese mobage do not know the shit and crap that comes from the dregs of the play/app store. you do not know what a kusoge is until you've grinded earnestly and faithfully in shit like state of survival for an entire month. after those experiences i have Truly learned what it means to be a shit game

“Hey bitch,” one of the mean-girls in the hall called out. You knew she was talking to you, but like usual, you decided to ignore her.

You felt a sharp slap on your cheek before someone grasped your arm and dragged you through the hall. You noticed it was Erin, the leader of the popular girls. “What are you doing?” You called, your attempts of escape useless.

You were finally brought into the washroom where three others were waiting. “It’s about time you learn what happens when you ignore us,” Erin declared, smirking menacingly at you.

Someone from behind kicked your legs, forcing you to the ground. Erin began kicking your ribs and the girl you recognized as Gina kicked on the other side.

“Feel that? Feel that you worthless bitch?” You heard Belle’s voice as she joined in, stomping on your from above. They continued yelling terrible things at you and kicking you until you felt a bone snap in your side.

You couldn’t really describe the pain, it wasn’t really a feeling so much as the absence of feeling. The four girls smirked and left you waiting for someone to find you. From what you could see you were bleeding in multiple spots, and someone must have used a key on you, as you could see an overly large cut going down your thigh that read ‘fat’ in shaky letters.

As tears streamed down your face your sobs became silent, and you realized everyone had left the school. You were all alone, left here to rot away until tomorrow.

With a pained expression, you managed to slip your phone from your pocket and hit the ‘emergancy’ button on the homescreen, which dialled Enzo’s number.

You knew he was a vampire, and you knew his blood would heal you. The issue was that you didn't want to explain what had happened, and why anyone would hurt you.

After a moment you heard his voice, that beautiful accent ringing out. “Hello, love. How can I help you? Need a ride home?”

You gasped the words ‘help,’ and ‘school’ before you felt yourself fall unconscious, as you should have long ago.

“(Y/n), love? Please wake up. You’re all better now,” you heard Enzo’s voice talk into your ear.

Your eyelids fluttered open and you focused on Enzo, who was holding you up with a worried expression. “Hey,” you smiled.

“What the bloody hell happened here?” Enzo growled, helping you to your feet. “There was so much blood and broken bones. Who did this to you?”

“It doesn’t matter,” you replied, testing your feet as you walked forward. He wrapped an arm around your waist, holding you up for support. Whether it was emotional or physical you couldn’t tell.

At that moment, the bathroom door swung open, revealing an annoyed looking Erin standing in the doorway. “What the hell?” She said as she saw Enzo helping you.

He glared at her and glanced at you, noticing the slight amounts of fear in your eyes.

“Who are you, cutie? And why are you helping that whore?” Erin batted her eyelashes and leaned against the door.

“(Y/n), sweetheart, is this the woman who hurt you?” Enzo questioned, tilting your head up to look into his eyes and gently pushing you behind him at the same time.

You gave a slight nod, which seemed to anger Erin.

Enzo, however, was furious. He vamp-speeded to Erin and held her dangling body by the throat against the wall. “Don’t ever touch her again, or I’ll kill you.” He compelled, dropping her.

He vamped over to you, lifted you, and had you out to the car in the blink of an eye. “Let’s go home, okay (y/n)?” He brushed a strand of (h/c) hair behind your ear, smiling sadly.

You nodded and allowed yourself to be lead your boyfriend’s car.

Needless to say, you were never bullied after that day.

Isami quietly confessed to Megumi nearing the end of their second year, during a celebration party thrown by PSD for everyone’s safe promotion. they were in a corner by themselves, with pretty much everybody still rioting and cooking random dishes. they started off talking about the past year, and Megumi kinda starts talking about how her anxiety is still really bad, maybe she really isn’t cut out to be a chef? and Isami is Really Upset to see Megumi, shining star Megumi who managed to clinch 9th seat all on her own, talking down about herself and says, “that’s not true, you’re incredibly capable as not just a chef but as a person. there’s not many as special as you are.” and Megumi blushes “oh, you’re just saying that to make me feel better.” and Isami’s like "no, no im not. i wouldn’t lie to someone i like.” and Megumi. freezes. so does Isami, tbh. then he awkwardly laughs. oops. “aha, looks like the cat’s out the bag. i didn’t mean to...say it so suddenly. but i mean every word, Megumi-san.” and then he smiles and Megumi is 100times confused and blushing and Isami tells her "ah, i don’t need an answer right now! im sorry for suddenly springing this onto you, ill leave now.”and he smoothly walks out the room but sp r i n ts down the corridor and out the dorm silently screaming why did he do that he’s no takumi how did he get so embarrassing. (btw Megumi replies him a week later w a positive answer)

Who would have the other’s picture as their phone background: ...both. they have a matching homescreens !! Megumi has a seperate pic of Isami for her homescreen that she looks at whenever she’s nervous to give herself courage lmao. 

Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror: BOTH. Isami occasionally draws a flower or positive messages for Megumi and Megumi replies in turn !! they do it for each other when they know the other will be having a tough week or has had a tough week :”)))

Who buys the other cheesy gifts: Isami !! he buys all sorts of trinkets for Megumi whenever he returns to Italy/explores Japan with Takumi. Megumi’s dorm room is full of souvenirs and knick knacks. 

Who initiated the first kiss: Megumi ..!! she kisses Isami on the cheek (as per Yuki’s command suggestion) when saying goodbye, and is super flustered, and Isami is So Surprised. then he asks if he can kiss her too and she nods and he leans in for a proper one that Megumi shyly accepts :”))))

Who kisses the other awake in the morning: honestly? neither of them are that mean to each other, plus they wake up at about the same time together anyway lol. Isami sometimes does though, on days when he’s feeling cheeky.

Who starts tickle fights: surprisingly, Megumi !!! both Aldini twins are ridiculously ticklish and Megumi LOVES IT. so she tickles Isami A Lot. also Megumi is not ticklish At All (altho she laughs a lot out of sheer anxiety if ppl tickle her). 

Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower: neither ! shower time is kinda important for Megumi; it’s a quiet alone time for her to relax and have some time to herself and unwind. Isami respects that and doesn’t like to disturb it. on days when her baths are especially long though, Isami prepares scented candles in their room and thoroughly pampers her when she’s out the bath w massages and quiet conversations.

Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch: Megumi !! she’s used to making lunchboxes for her dad so she does this waaay more often than Isami does. also Isami tends to resolve lunch with cake/dessert sampling while prepping for the dinner crowd and that’s No Good !!! he also has ridiculous eating habits (which is part of what affects his extreme weight loss/gain during changing of seasons) and Megumi is Determined to help him kick, or at least curb, them.

Who was nervous and shy on the first date: Megumi !!! she felt utterly unprepared and unqualified. Isami was kinda nervous but seeing someone else more nervous than him kinda calmed him down lolol. Isami was good at making her feel comfy and realise its just like any outing, just with more handholding and food sharing :”))))

Who kills/takes out the spiders: they’re both ok with it !! usually whoever spots the bug first. 

Who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunk: more likely, Isami. Megumi is a very giddy drunk who blacks out entirely too easily, and Isami becomes a very silly drunk; he’ll tap Megumi on the shoulder, cup her ear and whisper things like “you’re really cute tonight.” and giggle. though he hardly ever gets drunk bc he has an incredible alcohol tolerance so this doesn’t happen as often as Megumi would like it to :”DD
