I know you were scared to post that starter, but really, thank you. As someone who has had multiple attempts myself, you handled that with such grace and respect. You never stray away from the hard stuff with Angel, and it really helps people like me to feel seen. Angel's inner thought process captured depression stunningly. Just. Thank you. Thank you for being vulnerable and writing the hard stuff. Thank you for doing this character's pain and trauma justice.

I???? Am sobbing??? I don't....even know how to respond, honestly. I know I take a lot of risks on this blog, and people might hate me for it, but it's things like this that....really make a difference. I want my art to touch people, whether that be cosplay, photography, writing, music. This sounds random, but a tattoo I've been wanting since my dad died is a quote from Dear Evan Hansen - you will be found. And if one person can be found in my writing, that's what matters to me. And it's just an extra bonus knowing that you think I'm doing Angel such justice, because he means.......so much to be as a severe trauma survivor myself.

I'm still in shock from this ask. I'm just staring open-mouthed and I feel fuzzy because....wow. This is the biggest compliment I think I could ever get, not just as a writer, but as a therapist, as a victim myself, and as an overall human being that tries to view everything through the lens of empathy and love. So I should be thanking YOU. I needed this right now.
