because back then i was trying to understand the meaning of 오래된 미래 since tubatu used this phrase a lot now and i just couldn’t really wrap my head around the meaning of it because how a future could be ancient? but theeen i kind of figured out/give my own meaning to it; ancient future is... when you dream about a future together with your loved one and when you make that dream come true it becomes ancient future; the future you already imagined together in the past when you first met, now become reality and that’s why it’s ancient now. and the over the moon lyrics tell this so well, “let’s make an ancient future live in the same house // i’m with you you with me only when we’re together our future will become reality” let’s dream about our future together and make that future become reality by staying together. because the magic will keep happening as long as we’re together. and now reading your post and the full meaning of 오래된다 made me understand it a lottt more

i love how in over the moon's lyrics and act: promise's vcr, txt say 오래된 미래, or ancient future. it's such a juxtaposition to describe the future as being ancient or old. but 오래되다 more specifically means "marked by a long duration of time since the start or formation of something". essentially they could be saying that the future they're talking about, that they're finally meeting, was meant to be since long ago. like it's a matter of fate. and they're finally walking towards their tomorrow, their destiny, that they used to run away from, omg these lyrics

actually, just school. i've been in two school programs, moved midyear from one to another. right now, i'm looking into boarding schools in and out of the us but i do have a school for next year, thankfully. being 2e sucks because i genuinely can't stay in a school for over two years and i hate the constant changes.

i've also been looking into a service dog that will hopefully help, but i need to get a job first but i'm also saving up for a car. i have no clue where i put all the holiday and birthday money i received over the years lmao but i could really use it.

that aside, my first weeks of break i've been really chilling. while ^^ does sound awfully blue, i think i'm currently the happiest i've been in a while. i wouldn't have left but i can't handle doing this while also the irl stuff. lol, i get way too irritable when overstimmed. you can kind of see it in my last posts if you squint.
