ok i'm saying this as someone with very little knowledge of wicked but before i listened to the movie version of dancing through life i thought glinda actually wanted bok (boq?) to invite nessa because she felt bad that everyone was being straight up ableist. i didn't realize until seeing ariana and jonathan give each other a mischievous look that she did that to get bok tf off her back

lots of moments in the metamorphosis that stand out to us but one in particular is gregor's enormous relief at the initial reaction to his situation. the horror and panic from his family means they see he needs help, that there's really something wrong with him, that he has a reason to be suffering
#another is the fact that up to the point we've read a few weeks since his metamorphosis#no one has directly addressed him. even his sister who has been the most kind to him doesnt seem to consider he can understand whats goingon#or his sister and mother's debate on whether he would like his furniture in his room our removed so he can crawl around better#and how this discussion while both are trying to consider his best interests and what he wants#is carried out as of he isnt in the room with them#ik theres a lot of ways to read the metamorphosis but as of now a disability reading makes the most sense to us#confluence.txt

U mean U and the others (unholy trinity of Tsaritsa simps) did drag me down a wormhole of oc-ing an existing character with lore and yet still making it adapt to your fic.
in my defense her lore is extremely vague descriptions by other people (who may be biased. staring directly at childe. staring very hard at childe.) and like. the gem description im just working with what i got. also i don't trust hoyo to write my wife correctly so as far im concerned anything they write abt her isn't canon until i approve it /j

looking at beginners guides to solo rpg but theyre all failing to realize I Am Fucking Stupid
#my first experiendce with ttrpgs was bad#i was nervous and the experienced players wouldnt leave any room to join in#dm said they would help engage me in the game but kept forgetting i was there so it was hours of spacing out and doing#what the other players wanted me to. so i dropped out after a point#also just in general dont like the very basic high fantasy of dnd and the setting for that campaign was the magicak world and new york#so there wasnt really much interesting to play with. it was kind of just like setdressing for friends to chat instead of a story to play#so now i do wanna try playing a solo rpg but even the beginner guides are either made for ppl who already play ttrpgs and know whats goingon#or theyre just by ppl who are bad at explaining things to absolute beginners#theres also the money issue where idk if i should spend anything on a hobby im still only testing hashtag unemployment#whatever ill figure it out eventually. or maybe i wont. idk maybe this is just something i wont be able to do

Walk w me....I'm on the bus to people who like me but I feel really alarmed and anxious and I can feel the rotten part inside of me emerging and enveloping me in a stench that'll make everybody realize the evil truth about me or something idk. Spent today feeling a little awful and nauseous. I felt myself shrink back into my sickly 18 year old exoskeleton that I used to starve and berate. I suspected the sun would destroy me again. Every nice thing seems temporary and a frivolous distraction.
