For the wip folder ask game can we see Fairy Tail / Seven Deadly Sins: What it means to be (human) alive? That seems like a neat idea! Is it a full crossover with the different characters meeting or is it like Fairy Tail in the Seven Deadly Sins world or vice versa?

Hi! This is a slightly older wip but I still think about it often and wanna commit to it one day. It is a full crossover, so the characters of Fairy Tail meeting the Seven Deadly Sins cast. Specifically, they actually exist in the same world, except Britannia as a continent has been sealed off from the rest of the world due to some Old War Shenanigans, possibly Nemue style, and nobody ever bothered to fix it. (Am working out the kinks of that one.)

But essentially post Tartaros, when Natsu goes off on his training sad boi journey, except Lisanna comes with him to both be a friend and have her own sad boi hours, exceeeeept they get sucked into the demon realm for reasons and a group of outlaws figure out Natsu is a weird demon and poke him. (Details pending. There's a better plot in my head but I can't commit to everything yet.) Long story short, the plot truly kicks off when Zeldris (this is post NNT pre 4KOTA) intervenes and saves the trio, but only after they have been sufficiently hurt and traumatized, so the crew in Liones takes them in, and they later have to figure out how to get them home and stuff.

It's essentially a big Natsu angst fest because he finds out he's a demon with no context post-Tartaros but pre-Alverez. And nobody *actually* knows what the etherious deal is so everyone is guessing, especially Natsu. Also Lisanna is having isekai flashbacks. Fun times.

The scene I have actually written is some hurt/comfort bonding between Natsu and Elizabeth. (Also Natsu is temp-mute because of an injury :3)

Man, the queen was right though. The slow throat healing wasn’t what bothered him, even if it was hard. She was scary with how good she was at seeing through him. (Of course, everyone always told him he was obvious when he was thinking something, but he never saw it as a bad thing.) Natsu nodded miserably, unable to do anything else. He was never one to talk about his feelings anyway, because he let actions speak for himself, but now he couldn’t even if he wanted to. It really, really sucked. Elizabeth sighed, turning her gaze from the city to Natsu. She looked kinda sad. “You’re mad at Meliodas and Zeldris, aren’t you?” What? Mad? Was it that? Natsu knew he wanted to be angry at those demons that hurt him and Lisanna and Happy but… Was he mad at the…the demons that… saved them? That saved their lives? Was it…was it because they were demons? They were good though. Even though… “They only wanted you to live,” Elizabeth continued, interrupting his thoughts. “When we removed that magic mass—etherious, you called it?” Natsu nodded numbly to her question. He didn’t remember this, though. He lost consciousness somewhere in the middle. “When it was removed,” Elizabeth continued, “we started to lose you. It was connected so strongly to your life-force. Maybe…it was the only thing keeping you alive at the moment. I was already sustaining you, but Meliodas knew it was just temporary, and Zeldris noticed that… Well, you already had some miasma in you. They just gave you more, to fill that void. They really did mean well, although I know none of us were able to ask you for your opinion.” What was he supposed to say—er, do—to that? That he didn’t want to be alive? It would be a lie. Even though there were moments he was so miserable he just wanted to go to sleep early, he didn’t want to…not be alive. But he was kinda’ freaked out by all the changes. He didn’t feel comfortable in his own skin anymore, and he didn’t know whether it was because that black miasma stuff was there and smelled different, or if he didn’t recognize himself with the etherious demon missing. Both were actually a little scary to think about. Yet Igneel taught him to never regret living. Hell, Master taught him that too—and all of Fairy Tail for that matter. So why was this so hard? He squeezed his knees, trying to focus himself. The best response Natsu could give was to shake his head. No, he wasn’t mad. Natsu didn’t think he could describe what he was feeling if he could still talk. Ugh, this was why he never bothered with this kind of stuff. It…it hurt, and there was nothing to fight. The corner of the queen’s mouth turned up slightly, but her eyes didn’t change. “I see.”

I love comparing the OG trio’s wardrobes. Luke’s stretching his wings; he’s testing yellow, he’s testing orange, he wants to know if this slutty gray tank brings out his eyes. Leia’s got a phalanx of professional hair enthusiasts on call at any given moment; she’s wandering the galaxy with a pitch-perfect braid-dress combo, she does not miss. The twins are bringing fashion to this galactic rebellion whether you’re ready for them or not.

Han? Han will allow you to change his jacket. Slightly. For survival only. Full coat so he doesn’t freeze to death on a literal ball of ice or get shot immediately among the trees? Fine. If he must. He’s keeping the vest underneath. He MIGHT consider changing the stripe situation on those pants, if you convince him it was his idea. He’s sleeping in his emotional support gun belt. You just know this man has been buying the same brand of Space Hanes for 25 years, and he has no plans of stopping. This is a dude who knows what works for him, and he will COMMIT.

I’m always obsessed w the Case - J Lo - Vale pressers bc I feel like Jorge actively dissociates anytime he’s not asked a question (bc he’s already internally mapping out his answers to the next 20 possible questions he could be asked), Casey simmers n stews n hates every second of being there, and Vale is just always having the time of his life

(side note but rly underrated skill of his!! to be able to pretend you actually enjoy the press element!! maybe he’s not pretending, maybe he really is just able to turn it On that often & that easily…but idk I’ve been a longtime f1 fan too & the way Vale is able to make press conferences ~fun, or at least project that he’s having fun during them, is incredibly rare)

((i recognize “underrated” is probably not the right term generally speaking for the guy who is widely recognized as like the greatest showman the sport’s ever had lol. just that i personally underrate it & then am always pleasantly surprised when i watch almost any press conference of his))

(text posts here) this is from aragon 2011, a point in their relationship where quite honestly casey didn't need much of an excuse to give valentino the stink eye

there's not anything in the presser you'd actively expect casey to want to kill valentino with his mind over (beyond valentino's terminal affinity for yapping at anyone in his vicinity in these things). maybe valentino commenting on how fast casey and ducati had been at aragon the last year somehow attracted casey's ire? maybe valentino reiterating he was going to race in japan (a major talking point throughout that year - valentino and jorge had initially been united in launching a bit of a riders' revolt on that issue, including meeting at jorge's motorhome at a time when relations between them were otherwise... uh, frosty; eventually it had been casey and jorge who were the final holdouts, with casey still not willing to 100% commit at aragon)... generally though, I reckon this is mostly just how casey looked at valentino those days

though that reminds me, there's one specific question where, if I were valentino, honestly I'd be tempted to off myself - but somehow it's casey who manages to look quite awkward while valentino just laughs

Q: Different question for you, Casey - any advice for Valentino this weekend? This is where you turned your season around last year. ... Ride faster? CS: Do something drastic, I don't know... (mumbles) [Same for me?]

expression gets gradually more enthusiastic as you move to the right. not reflective of current competitive situation

and yeah I find their different styles of engagement v interesting!! jorge's also gone on a bit of an arc with this over the years... you've got these very early clips where he still needs a translator in the presser (not at all uncommon, dovi for instance was the same) and he's just deeply awkward but also quite enthusiastic, then you get to his first premier class years where... y'know, he's clearly not a natural at this, but he WANTS to be, he WANTS to engage with the process and be charming and all the rest of it... and then by 2011 he's kind of given up. 2010 was great for his career but less great for his popularity, and it's really when you can feel the disillusionment creeping in. he never quite loses that part of himself, still obviously wants to win hearts and minds... but yeah. he's never been particularly up for listening to his peers in these things, but by this point in time he did clearly want to fast forward through these things. default state is zoning out

casey might be a well-known sceptic of any kind of engagement with the public - but he's actually a self-professed people watcher, he likes sitting around quietly observing people. one of my fave lil autobiography nuggets:

I like to think I can read people very well, especially people I get to study a lot, and when I come in during a session to make changes to the bike that is exactly what I am doing. The mechanics might think that because I have got my visor down I'm just sitting there doing nothing but I'm observing everything and I could see they weren't coping well with the pressure of having the big bosses watching over them.

'my mechanics think I'm doing nothing but actually I'm sitting with my visor down secretly observing them' is such a. a deeply funny line, deeply casey line. not sure I'm convinced the mechanics would prefer to know that this is what casey was doing, but there we are. in any case, obviously casey doesn't SAY this but I don't think it's a massive leap to suggest he was doing the same thing in pressers. ofc I enjoy using these photos in text posts because they kinda tell their own story, but I should note that to some extent this is just casey's resting face. like,, if I'm sufficiently motivated obviously I can also make a 'casey doesn't fw dani' version

now admittedly, there are way fewer photos of casey staring at dani and jorge (or indeed anyone else) than there are of him staring at valentino... arguably even in the years where valentino is very much no longer casey's main on-track rival. but like, there's also relatively less photos of casey making heart eyes at those other two guys. whether this genuinely reflects how much staring casey was doing or is just the result of photographer bias (no criticism, I too would be documenting every look casey sends valentino's way) or a combination of the two... who knows. but I DO think that casey was very much committed to studying valentino, including by doing this little staring act in pressers. slightly clashes with his whole 'oh I don't care about my rivals' schtick, but, well, casey's no stranger to a bit of an internal contradiction. so he's quietly studying and quietly judging and quietly seething... LEARNING from the enemy by documenting every last detail of his side profile. or something

and yeah lol massive props to valentino not getting tired of this week in week out. admittedly in pressers specifically he does also frequently entertain himself by choosing the nearest convenient victim to yap at, which both jorge and casey very obviously found an annoying habit at times. (shout out to misano 2016 where jorge and valentino started bickering in the presser and jorge afterwards went HE NEVER SHUTS UP IN THESE THINGS, which, like, wasn't particularly relevant in that specific situation and clearly had just been something he'd been sitting on for years.) both jorge and casey have also actively turned to valentino on at least one occasion in a presser to indicate that they would like him to shut the fuck up - and both times valentino has complied, so theoretically at least they could have put a stop to this. so, y'know, it probably doesn't hurt if you're the type of guy willing to make your own fun in these pressers, even when it comes at the active cost of the sanity of the people around you. beyond that though, yup. I mean it's probably a good attitude to have if that's literally your whole life. I think it's always done valentino a lot of good that he's fundamentally a curious type of bloke who is curious about other people. journalists DO piss him off a lot of the time, but in theory it's a process he likes engaging with because he likes talking and he likes listening. honestly did miracles for the vibes of these things, like the f1 thing is a good point because I sometimes watch motogp pressers these days and go. man. this place could do with a yapper

um. uh. hi every body. something evil and malevolent happened in my brain this month.

this is. um. a Jet Set Radio/Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Death joke AU, spawned out of a in-joke that started in a pokepasta discord. my apologies to both the pokepasta and jsr fandoms

the entire basis is the idea that Corn in Future retconned og JSR Beat as leader/founder of the GGs (is beat being leader in the og even CANON?) so Corn and Beat are the Myras. no it's not a joke funny enough to justify how many hours i sunk into drawing these. no attempt was made to change the setting, assign most of the other cast, or otherwise make this au hold up to ANY amount of scrutiny. if i tried to make this actually work somehow then i'd REALLY end up too far gone. also i keep calling myrtle!beat "Meat".

Ik is fully aware there's something up with these animals which is why she doesn't immediately call up like the RSPCA or something but she still isn't expecting some of this. She swears she sees the snake watching the TV so she puts it on for him while she goes to school, and when she gets back Levi's managed to change the channel and is now watching an old Pokemon rerun.

Ik listening to some Mozart and then the peacock comes in and sits down next to her. He is very purposefully not looking at her but she can tell hes enjoying the music. He lets her give him pats after this.

Asmo will sulk for hours on end if either Ik or Zhao doesn't take some time to brush him every day.

Cat Satan seems pissed off a lot of the time but he's always very sweet to Ik and her dad, it's mainly his brothers that he keeps hissing at. He makes friends with Hyde and sits with Ik whenever she's reading. He starts butting her with his head so that she'll read to him. Eventually he figures out how to hold books open himself.

Ik's dad is so confused. Belphie likes him because they're both very tired all the time so he can nap in his lap without being disturbed by fidgeting like Ik likes to do.

Also imagine Lucifer getting a crush on Zhao and whenever he sees him he involuntarily starts displaying his tail lol

aw the idea that satan is the sweet one kinda hits :'( he's a lovely boy but his wrath and repressed family issues just isolated him so he's more open with those who aren't his brothers.... ik reads her textbooks to him because he's eager to learn about everything and he purrs to cheer her up when she's sad

zhao comes home from work and collapses on the couch and belphie sees him and is immediately like "it's free real estate" and is napping on him within five MINUTES (also the zhaolu thing is really cutee)

ik lets snake levi surf around on her phone attempting to play temple run. it doesn't really work but he appreciates the thought. not every day you meet a friend who's willing to buy you frozen mice to eat!

So as for now, they are good with Wukong being the little spoon. Both bc Wukong is the the one who constantly craves for touch amd bc Macaque feels more comfortable in a position of "control" let's say. He can decide how much closer or not to get to Wukong.

Then in the future they would be more comfortable to switch (and the bicker about who should be the big or small)

ace trappola

Ace was someone you fell for gradually. It was unexpected. You liked him as a friend, then it progressed so naturally. How could you not? He was undeniably a charmer and just… He had this aura, as Cater would say, “totes cutie throughout.” After coming to terms with your feelings for him, the next step was to confess– it didn't need a reciprocation. You just wanted some closure to your feelings. The grand plan was to be outright, give the cupcakes, and get an answer.

You enlisted the help of Deuce and Grim, though they don’t know why you needed help with baking. However, a bribe was never out of the question! The simple bribe was enough to grab their attention and cause havoc in your kitchen.

Yet, in times like these, you wished you had asked for help from someone else; being covered in powdered sugar and two rascals fighting over the batter spoon was enough to deter you. Deuce and Grim quarreled as they had different objectives with said spoon. Honestly, why didn't you ask Trey for help?

However, even with the trouble, you can't help but smile. They knew of your feelings and didn't tease you… Instead, they immediately insulted your tastes in men. When you dropped the bomb, you liked Ace, and they had to do a complete stop.

“ACE? THAT ACE?!” Both yelled when you first admitted your true feelings for the other part of your friend group. Grim was faster to judge, and his paws slapped your face with disbelief.

“You can't be serious?! Ace? There are plenty of people here, henchman! What about Jack? He’s literally right there?!” Grim groaned as he couldn't believe his henchman was dumb enough to fall for that redhead. There were plenty of suitable candidates, but they chose Ace, resident troublemaker?!

Deuce shook his head and tried to help you unclaw Grim from you, but he was no less judgemental. While he finds it cute that the two of his friends have fallen for each other, though you weren't aware, he still judges your taste. Ace? The man who has done nothing but tease and even get all of the group in trouble?!

“Grim, come on, you can't force a heart to love and choose who to love. That's why love is messy,” Deuce said as he tried to placate Grim so he would not slap you with his paws. You felt loved in that moment for your feelings to be accepted (exclude Grim; that little monster would come to terms with it).

You sighed and sat on the floor, exhausted. Who knew baking with love was exhausting? Deuce sat next to you and smiled while patting your head for encouragement, which made you feel slightly energized. He gave you that classic “You got this” smile. It was his trademark, the classic encouraging Deuce Spade. Before you can thank him, the rapid knocking was on the door, followed by that painfully sweet voice.

“Prefect! Hellooo! I heard you invited Deuce?! The hell, you hang out with Juice without me now? Just say you hate me!” It was Ace, his whining reaching to the kitchen. You panicked and immediately hid the cupcakes and tried to look presentable. Deuce and Grim also helped, panicking as Ace couldn’t be patient; his knocking was about to break down your new door!

“In a bit!” You yell out, embarrassed as you see how messy you look. Why is Ace even here? You remember you asked Cater to distract him! Then again, Cater could be busy, too. You cursed the world as it couldn’t time things the way you wanted.

“Fu-nya! Stop breaking down our door, Ace!” Grim yelled out, annoyed, and shot you a look. He was judging you. Deuce and Grim tidied up and finally opened the door for Ace. He was in his dorm uniform, with a glare and pout. He looked at Deuce and you before dramatically sighing.

“How could you do this? I thought we were OGs here! Is this the duo in a trio moment?!” Ace said as he plopped on the couch with a hand over his chest. You sighed and shook your head, laughing before hiding your face.

“I was bribing them to do my work, Ace. I knew I couldn’t bribe you, so I went with Deuce.” Pandering to his ego, Ace looked at you suspiciously. It made you sweat. Does he know what you plan to do? Ace was glaring before shrugging and showing off his signature smirk.

“Hell yeah! You can’t bribe me; Juice here can be bribed, though!” Ace points at Deuce, cracking his knuckles. He is ready to roundhouse Ace to the next dorm. Ace laughed at his threat before saying, “Hey, don’t look offended!”

You can’t help but feel flushed as Ace's laughter fills the dorm lounge. How dare he make you feel this way? You want to say it now, but that felt rushed. While your friendship with Ace was an adventure, your feelings were not something you wanted to rush to; it felt right to take it slow. Amidst your thoughts, Ace looked at you, and you panicked. Oh, were you staring too much?

Unknown to everyone, Ace had an idea why you were hanging out with Deuce. (He doesn’t.)

“Anyways, I know why you guys hang out without me. Hurts, though.” Ace shrugs as Deuce, and you look confused. Though, your heart was in your stomach at the moment. You were cursing internally as Ace smirked.

“You and Deuce, you’re dating, huh?! Come on, the cat’s out the bag. Hey! I’m happy for you two!”

Oh, thank the Sevens. He’s an idiot. You thought as you paused, trying not to laugh. Deuce looked confused before shaking his head. Grim deadpanned at you and Ace, feeling the hopelessness seep in.

“No. We really are just friends. There is no duo in a trio moment here, Ace,” you explain as Deuce shakes his head and Grim just sighs. Both can’t believe how you fell for Ace.

“Whaaa? Okay, darn, my vibes must be off.” Ace said as he groaned. He was so confident, hoping for some drama too. He sighed before shrugging and acting as he usually would. You sighed in relief as he dropped the topic, and Deuce and Grim whispered amongst themselves.

[Next Day; Lunch]

You sat anxiously on the table alone, and the other friends were leaving you alone because today was the day! Though, can’t Ace come to the table any sooner? He’s taking his sweet time on the lunch line. You were fidgeting, and you couldn’t help but glare as the rest of the group were cheering awkwardly on the sidelines.

Except for Sebek, he’s cheering as loud as he can. He was saluting and clapping while giving a thumbs-up, too. Ace returned to the table, confused, as you sat alone. He teased you,

“Why are we alone? What? This a date?” Ace joked before looking away. Unknown to you, Ace was flushed at his own joke. Sevens knew that he was wishing it was a date. You stammer and try to make the atmosphere light.

“I mean, could be?”

“Wha–?!”

[Two Days Earlier…]

Ace was sulking in his room while sighing loudly as the night seemed to drawl. The hangout you

had earlier went by too fast. Ace was longing to be in your presence. He knew why, and it scared him to admit that. His phone's bright screen annoyed Deuce, who was forced to room with Deuce for a night. Deuce woke up and glared.

“Dude, you’re being loud, and your phone is so bright!”

“Deuce, I need your advice,” Ace said thoughtfully as he looked at the disheveled boy. Deuce faltered and pinched his skin to knock him out of his dream state. Ace's tone was so sincere that Deuce momentarily doubted that he was still talking to his friend. He gaped at Ace and straightened himself before gesturing for Ace to continue whatever melodrama he was experiencing.

“So, our dear friend. You know, [Name]? Yeah, so… Uh…” Ace stalls as Deuce tries to make sense of what Ace is implying. Deuce looked at him, encouraging him just to finish because there was no judgment here. Ace and Deuce are quite literally bonded for life at this point.

“I like them. And not the “Oh, they’re cool” type of liking. Sevens… I want to date them, okay?! I need… Why am I even asking this from you? Ugh,” Ace grumbled as he hid in his pillow. He was flushed, the tip of his ears peaking with red, while his hands were shaky. Deuce never saw Ace this way. It was almost laughable/

“Ooh! Someone’s got a crush.”

“Yeah, yeah, rub it in. Listen, man. There’s no hope for me here. [Name] is way too good for me!”

“Heh, you got that right,” Deuce joked as he looked at Ace, who was staring at the ceiling longingly. He never looked this vulnerable.

“Oi! I’m trying–! You know what, good night!” Ace glared as he flipped Deuce off. He grumbled as he tucked himself back into his blankets and glanced at Deuce, who was laughing.

“Wait, come on! I’m listening!” Deuce laughs as he tries to coax Ace to confess what he is about to say. Ace grumbled and threw a pillow at Deuce, resulting in a pillow fight.

[Present Day, Lunch Time]

“I said… This could be a date!” You find the courage to say it. Ace flushed deep red as he tried to play things cool. You finally brought out the cupcakes with a nervous smile. As you offered the baked goods, the proud look in your eyes made Ace tremble and melt.

“If you only knew how much trouble I went to making these,” You say as you laugh to make things less awkward. Ace was shaky as he accepted it; the usual smirk he did was gone. He looked so shy it made you wonder if you were still with the Ace Trappola.

Ace grabbed the small box and smiled, flaunting his charm, before closing his eyes to steady his heart. He winked at you before smiling.

“So, I’m guessing there will be a duo moment in a trio?” He joked, making you blush when you realized what he meant. Oh, Sevens, is he?? “I think I know what’s gonna happen next,” Ace whispered as he sat beside you.

What can I say, I saw an interesting plot point that was completely and utterly abandoned and unacknowledged and then proceeded to hammer it into as many aus of mine as is possible :3

I think we need more more AU that look into just how different blood copy (made by ruin) & blood moon (made by eclipse) are.

Like, the blood moon that ruin made was in the same boat as eclipse when they were alive, so it would be really interesting if anyone explored it more, whether it be from code mess ups, or just different dynamics, heck, even an alternate universe where someone just straight up tells blood copy that they’re not the original blood moon. I feel like that would be interesting.

They’re definitely routes that could be taken with this in mind, from possibly trying to distance themselves from the blood moon name (trying to push that they are not anyone’s tools), trying to prove that they are somehow the original/better than the original, an existential identity crisis.

Moe universes where ruin messes up their code in a way that creates someone that is supposed to be a blood moon, but is very different from said image also pretty interesting.

Hell even AUs where they have a completely different dynamic in October are interesting!

I really just feel like this singular concept of the animatronics ruin making just being copies of the original ones has so much potential that was never really delved into with the show. The most we got of this was everyone acknowledging that the eclipse ruined made isn’t the original eclipse. Would that’s it.

I wanted them to have a father-son relationship :D

#yes this is about the Grief Trio #Bloody and Harvest may have been in a breakdown but the distinctions between them and the originals were too strong for them to ignore—#—they don’t resonate with the Bloodmoon name anymore but they will carry it despite the horrors tied to it #also they made a small memorial for the originals in one of the trees they sleep at for the original’s birthday that’s been canon for 5 mont #Ruby and Vermillion are double this first being a BMII second by being reset from that state—#—they *hate* their predecessors and do not take the Bloodmoon name at all #Cherry and Mahogany were in the middle of splitting from what everyone expects from a Bloodmoon when they reached their breaking point #Original is weird in this regard. he understands he isn’t the first Bloodmoon but doesn’t think less of himself in that aspect—#—he even thinks he and Adaptation were the upgrades more apt for killing and brandishing the name #of course any and all passion for that went down the drain during April #as for other interesting cases #Ocean doesn’t have a distinction between the OG and copies they’ve all been around for some time but there is differences between—#—the more pushy and action oriented Bloody and Scythe and the more follower type and reserved Rabies and Harvest #Hunter is AN original AI in a copy body which you’d think would minimize the identity crisis. it doesn’t :) His memoriesget manipulated—#—and twisted into making him see Jigsaw as his other so when Jigsaw is no longer in the picture… things get bad #Fantasy dealt with being brought back to life from whatever traces of a soul Ruin could get which weren’t many—#—much themes of purpose and not knowing what to do with yourself with them #WH is also an OG ai in copy body but unlike Hunter Buzzsaw doesn’t manipulate their feelings so badly—#—they have an oddly wholesome roommate//only-person-i-can-rely-on dynamic #Horror BMII was supposed to be an incredibly mean prank on Eclipse having to do with his recently deceased sibling(s)—#—that’s the standard for them and things only get worse #I could go on but I feel like I kinda already overstepped in this so sorry about that I just saw someone ACTUALLY talk about an aspect abo—#—ut BM that I love and is extremely under appreciated and underused and I kinda just started typing and didn’t stop and #tldr; I like BM too much #tsams au confessions #posts by others #sams bloodmoon

Design notes:

This took way longer to post than I expected mainly because of imposter syndrome and constantly thinking I could do more for his entry but, I'll keep this as Ace's main style anyway. It's pretty simple compared to previous designs, but to be fair, devil Ace's personality and shenanigans would stand out enough to compensate for that matter LOL

As I said on Deuce's post, I wanted to connect their designs in some aspects, so yeah! Complementary color pallettes! That's why they both have few shades that stand out of their main monochrome colors, Deuce is blues and greens, while Ace stays around red and oranges!

Fashion-wise now, I initially pictured him pulling a lot more references from 80s men fashion, but ig by the end I accidentally strayed away from that and somehow incorporated a more "modern" influence to it? Man I'm very bad at describing the creative process and vibes of my designs but what else is new 😭😭 ANYWAYS, off topic but I should mention that, as you can see I'll throw in a high heel in any characters that give me the opportunity to do so, this one especially, I had Cleo's "dawn of the dance" heels in the back of my mind while designing, ( I forgot to include in the image above again 😔) which fun fact, was my first Monster High doll I got as a kid, so-!!! That's a shoe style that I'm very fond of KWDNWKSNSK

LORE DUMP TIME, ok so given each characters unique scare-itage, the way the cast interact with each other and build relationships could somehow differ from how they interact in og twisted wonderland! For example, since MH!Ace is THE devil from THE bible (/ref) he probably shares a common background, or have met Vil and Idia before they enrolled in MH!NRC together! That's such a funny thing to think about for me. Who would have thought they'd ever be a trio of great childhood friends?

• Honestly, with how engrossed he is during the conversation, it takes him a painfully long while to notice that you have suddenly became so quiet and just stared off into the distance.

• When he does though, it's either half way during the conversation, or long AFTER the gathering.

• It's not that he isn't watching over you or paying attention to you, you know that full well because he has his hand intertwined in yours the whole gathering.

• It's js that, sometimes he gets so excited over seeing his friends after a long time, you can't blame the boy! D:

• When he finds out, he instantly assures you, mumbling a soft "I'm sorry if I made you feel left out. Just tell me next time, okay? I got you."

• He isn't the best at giving assurance, and it's painfully obvious. But give him time, you're his first time in literally everything!!

• What happened during though? This is the scenario :

• It was when the og trio + Alluka had finally decided to meet up after all these days. Killu and Alluka was the most ecstatic to finally meet Gon, and you were too! To finally meet one of your best friends after a long and hard time is a dream come true to the both of you.

• When you four met, everything was amazing at first! You four conversed a lot, and you four caught up. Then it just soon came so suddenly where you were just listening in the conversation, even while making small comments. They both would just give subtle acts of acknowledgement that didn't really feel like you were being acknowledged, y'know?

• Feeling suddenly left out despite having a hand in Killua's hand, you grew quiet and upset. The two of them seemed to be having so much fun talking amongst each other, and that's understandable. Inevitably, they were both closer because they were boys, and it is said that two of the same gender get along easily, that's how you and Alluka got along quickly, after all.

• Speaking of Alluka, she was the one that noticed your sudden distance, she tried to tell her beloved older brother, only to be stopped by said significant other, whispering a gentle and soft : "It's okay, Alluka. Let your brother enjoy."

• Alluka gives you a sad expression and hugs you, what a cutie she is, seriously. You absolutely love each other so much, it was so precious.

• After the interaction and you three were heading back, Alluka marched to her older brother with an angry look and pout, upon noticing this, Killua automatically went into internal panic mode. "Your a big meanie, brother!" She exclaims with a huff, making Killua blink twice in confusion, "Wh- Huh? What do you mean, Alluka?" Killua asked in genuine confusion plastered on his face.

• "You made yn cry!" Alluka exclaimed, COMPLETELY exaggerating your reaction. Face palming when Killua whipped his face to your direction, "I didn't cry, Alluka.." You mumbled in an exasperated manner, removing your hand from your face to look at Alluka. "But you were going to!" "Was not." "Are too!"

• "Can we normalize explaining before making conclusions?! What is happening?!" Killua exclaimed to the two girls before him and whipping his face from Alluka and to you. "You were ignoring yn!" Alluka exclaimed in a straightforward manner, running to you and hugging your waist while giving Killua an upset pout, as if she was the one that was being left out.

• "..Well that's the short story, I guess..? It's- it's nothing. Just felt, dunno, left out when you and Gon were just barely acknowledging me. Could be that I'm just tired so let's just go back.." You hesitantly explained and kept things hidden, mostly because you didn't want to annoy Killua for being so easily saddened. Gently grabbing Alluka's hand, you three silently walked back to the inn you three lived in for a few days.

• Upon arriving back, Alluka headed straight for her bed, leaving you and Killua alone face to face, literally. "I'll uh.. go back to bed now, see you." You mumbled awkwardly, "..sorry, yn." He whispers in a sincere manner, leaving you a bit dumbfounded. "..are you seriously Killua?" You say in a subtle baffled manner, blinking twice, receiving a light-hearted glare from Killua.

• "I didn't think you'd feel that way. Truth be told, I thought you didn't want to be pestered by us, so I just gave you subtle looks.. so I'm sorry, that was on my end, too." Killua mumbles sheepishly, walking towards you and pulling you into a gentle hug. "Clearly, I'm not the best with these, and you can see how stiff and awkward I am.. but be more vocal with it, it's hard to understand someone so quiet like you.. Just tell me next time, okay?" Killua says in a hushed tone, and you reciprocated his hug.

• Breathing in his scent, he smelled like a bed of Gardenias, it was always so comforting. "Thank you, Killua." You softly whispered into his ear and you felt his head nod. "I got you, yn. Always."

༉‧₊˚. Kurapika Kurta !ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁

• Kurapika is definitely one to notice instantly.

• You CANNOT tell me this man doesn't have some sixth sense when it comes to you.

• He's genuinely so charming whenever he assures you that his intentions aren't to leave you out of the conversation or gathering.

• I think he's very intelligent when it comes to emotions such as distress and saddened emotions, so he takes care of you very well.

• He's a very busy guy so plzplz be patient w him too !!

• But he and I can assure you that he loves you very much and would sacrifice so much for u !!

• This is probably what happened :

• It was probably during one of his missions as a Bounty Hunter. You were with him because, well, you too were a Bounty Hunter, and it's your job!

• But you can't help but feel upset after he dismissed one of your many plans once again because some other member had a plan too, yours was a brilliant plan too!

• After your probably 5th plan being dismissed by your beloved, you had grown silent and decided to just close yourself off and listen. This, was most definitely noticed by Kurapika.

• He faced your awfully distant expression, he knew what was wrong, he just couldn't speak up because you both were doing your job, to successfully do this mission, you both had to pay close attention to the details.

• Evening soon fell upon the Hunters, and the mission came to a commence, and you were both paired up ( As per Kurapika's request, surprisingly. )

• "yn, please tell me what is on your mind." Kurapika gently spoke up, turning to face you as you both walked to your designated location. Snapping out of your hyper-focused trance, you looked at his ever so gentle eyes that made your heart skip a beat.

• "I'm okay, Kurapika." You gave a light-hearted assurance, "There is something weighing your mind, my dear. Please do not be so unkind to yourself and speak what is within your mind.." He ever so softly requests, that vulnerability on his face, the subtle affection and concern hidden in his voice of toughness,

• This all reminded you why you fell in love with Kurapika, the reason why you chose to love each other, because of the very limited times you both show your vulnerable sides, the most sensitive emotions a human can feel.

• "It isn't that serious, Kurapika. It's just that I didn't feel like an equal to everyone after you've quite literally dismissed many of my plans." You explain your feelings in a half hurt and half amusement at how stupid your plans probably are to be dismissed by Kurapika.

• "I see.. I apologize, my dear. My intentions were not to make you feel unimportant, rather to keep your plans as a secret. Your plans are brilliant– extraordinary, even. However I believe that we individually have to discuss it amongst ourselves." Kurapika explains why he was dismissing it, well– more on like being possessive over your knowledge.

• Truth be told, there were some weirdos in the mission you were both in and they had a thing for knowledgeable people, so Kurapika felt heavily possessive over you and ultimately decided to rudely dismiss your plans.

• "Oh.. I see.." You mumbled with a slow nod, blinking twice and looking down, "So.. I didn't sound stupid?" You mumbled, looking for his approval, he softly smiles and nods. "Absolutely not. You have a brilliant mind, my dear. How about we start discussing about your plans? I do wish to know more about the details."
