Adaptasi

Weheeeee, sudah lama ndak bikin tulisan di laptop macam niiiiii. Kalau urusan kerjaan sih baru tadi sore, hanya saja jika berkaitan untuk curhat bersenang-senang aku rasa hampir lupa kapannya (sangking udah lamanya). Beberapa kali nulis di hp juga sih sebetulnya, hanya saja kalau di hp susah buat konsentrasi karena banyak godaannya. Baik-baik, bersyukur untuk malam ini karena telah menyelesaikan satu tugas. Saatnya bersenang-senang..

Adaptasi menurut KBBI definisi salah satunya adalah penyesuaian diri terhadap kondisi lingkungan yang baru. Tidak hanya lingkungan dalam arti lingkungan sebenarnya, tapi juga lingkungan-lingkungan dalam arti lain. Pun bisa juga penyesuaian diri terhadap kondisi yang baru.

Masa pandemi ini apalagi, mau tidak mau kita harus beradaptasi. Dari yang segala sesuatu bisa dilakukan di mana saja, mendadak jadi #dirumahaja, pun ketika sudah new normal lagi. Belum hal-hal njilmet lain yang menurutku mau nggak mau harus menyesuaikan diri dengan kondisi di era pandemi. Pandemi 2020 ini benar-benar membuat belajar banyak sih. Terutama banget soal bagaimana kita menjaga lingkungan dan kelestarian alam. Sebetulnya aku yakin, kebanyakan dari kita paham bahwa membuang sampah dan perilaku hidup bersih itu merupakan bagian dari suatu kebaikan. Buktinya tiap kali ada pertanyaan “buang sampah di?” pasti jawabannya “di tempat sampah” namun kenyataannya di lapangan nggak semua orang melakukan apa yang dia pahami (Ini kenapa ya?).

Manusia memang seringnya bebal sih (aku punnnn), sudah dikasih tahu malah mangkir, sampai akhirnya ia habis sendiri, bahkan orang lain jadi korban, makhluk lain jadi korban. Apa kita memang tidak bisa hidup berdampingan?

Nggak Cuma pandemi, masuk atau lulus kuliah, saat memasuki pekerjaan baru, berhenti kerja, belajar hal baru, jadian atau putus dari pacar (*eh) itu juga butuh waktu buat adaptasi---menyesuaikan diri dengan keadaan yang berbeda dari sebelumnya.

Saat masuk kuliah kamu harus beradaptasi dengan lingkunganmu yang semakin luas, saat sudah lulus juga harus beradaptasi lagi (untuk move on) dari kehidupan kampus---and welcome to the jungle hahaha. Saat kamu memasuki pekerjaan baru pun, kamu juga akan menyesuaikan diri dengan iklim kerjamu, lingkunganmu, dan waktumu. Saat berhenti kerja kamu juga harus menyesuaikan diri dengan kebiasaan yang baru, waktu selomu yang bertambah misal, belum kamu juga harus beradaptasi dengan stigma sosial.

Belajar hal baru juga kamu harus beradaptasi dengan otak dan pikiranmu, bahkan mungkin dirimu sendiri. Pun ketika memulai atau putus dengan pacarmu, kamu juga butuh waktu untuk beradaptasi. Baik untuk membiasakan diri dengan membagi waktumu atau saat putus beradaptasi dengan kondisi yang baru, biasanya telfonan sampai malam, eee chat aja udahan #switswitsiapatuhhh.

Pada dasarnya setiap apa yang dimulai dan diakhiri, selalu butuh adaptasi. Butuh waktu.

Aku rasa memang selama kita hidup akan selalu dituntut untuk beradaptasi sih. Bagaimana pun perubahan adalah sesuatu yang pasti terjadi, mau tidak mau, suka atau tidak suka. Jika keadaan yang tidak bisa kita rubah, kita yang harus berusaha berubah menyesuaikan diri dengan keadaan.

Tidak mudah memang, tapi bukan berarti tidak bisa. Selama mau berusaha aku yakin Allah bakal ngasih jalan. Karena memang manusia itu fleksibel.

Kemarin aku membaca di salah satu kutipan atau apa aku lupa, di situ ada perumpamaan yang menarik. Begini: sewaktu kita hidup tubuh kita ini lentur, gerak ke mana saja bisa. Namun saat meninggal tubuh kita kaku. Mungkin kekakuan menandakan jika ada sesuatu dalam diri kita yang mati. Jadi selama kita masih (berusaha) hidup, semoga kita akan selalu lentur untuk menghadapi apa pun, aamiin.

Semangat beradaptasi, kita~
