Here’s a vid of the F1 (fivegait) A-final. This was a Moment, because this is where a wave of sound rushed over the track when it became apparent that Frauke Schenzel had won, and every single German on the stands cheered. 

at 37:30 you can also see her face when this picture was taken by Geert-Jan Heyda :

The F1 is considered the competition to win. It shows you’re riding a proper gæðingur, or “Horse of the Gods”. It’s not often that Iceland doesn’t come first, hence the very enthusiastic response from the German public and the shock on Frauke’s face.

yes i did ! i am quite sad abt it T_T but needless to say i saw it coming sooner or later and im happy that hes satisfied w everything hes done competitively and im extremely glad that hes FREEEE from horrible isu and jsf and he can skate on his own terms :,) v proud and very grateful for everything hes done for the sport truly there will be never another yuzuru hanyu ^_^ i just know that as a pro skater he'll always bring us amazing and beautiful programs so i am excited for that!! (yuzu ice show when... ill b first in line for tickets!)

On April 1, 2017, Yuzuru Hanyu performed a flawless dazzling free program for a new world record of 223.20 – making history once again. Two weeks ago, Yuzuru fans from around the globe released a video analysis of the WR-breaking performance to celebrate. 

Thanks to our supportive community, we now have subs in 9 languages: Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Italian, Japanese, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese! 

In addition, we have received a lot of positive feedback from fans all over the world, and by popular request, we would like to present this video as a token of thank you. Here is the same performance in slow-motion (0.6x) with footwork, transitions, and elements annotated – and a couple improvements made in the step sequence from suggestions we received :) – for all to savour and enjoy!
