Berath’s Bell: What is your Watcher’s opinion on becoming the Herald of Berath? Given deitic reveals in game one, has your Watcher’s opinions on the Gods of Eora changed?

She kinda liked the powers that came with it (Gaura kinda saw it as her remaining Watcher powers being bass-boosted) and some of the privileges too but she wasn't a fan of Berath having a kill-switch to her (tho finding out that Magran had one too this whole time kinda put that into perspective) But roughly around Ashen Maw, it became clear to her that Berath wouldn't hurt her - Bearth could try to hide it with all her might, but Gaura could still see that Berath liked her she's not blind and she's not a fool. #BerathTsundereGoddess Also I think Gaura low-key grows to miss her late-night soul zoom calls post-Deadfire.

As for the other thing: on the one hand, Gaura gets more insolent towards them bc of The Truth™ - sure, they're all-powerful but they're still a collection of kith ideas - but she also grows to low-key pity them... kinda... they're bound by those kith ideas after all.

Gaensvef Berries: In times of hardship it can be easy to turn to the things that help us escape; what addictive vice might your Watcher have picked up through the years, if any?

Gaura sometimes takes a shot of Forgetful Night if there's nothing else she can turn to for coping but she's far from addicted to it. she can't get properly drunk anyway bc alcohol burns up in her oh well. And she tries out the drugs offered to her in the game but it never goes further than that first time thing.

Maoro Coral: As you sail the Deadfire there happen to be a few uncharted islands. What did your Watcher name them if at all?

Tbh I gave the islands pretty bs names, but I think Gaura would keep some of those names, e.g. Wael's Eyeland. Also she named Tama Watua's island Thanks for the Flower Crown.

Orlan’s Cradle: If Vela carried into POE: Deadfire, how did your Watcher handle responsibilities of parenthood at sea? If they didn’t adopt Vela: Any favorite sea shanties or crew members?

No Vela - Gaura poisoned Simoc, so yeah.

As for the crew: Worthless Idiot was absolutely her favorite (tho a part of her fondness for him stemmed from spite). But Gaura mostly hung out with her cooks (Mother Sharp-Rock and Birta) and helmsmen (Handsome Eliam and Beodul). She also liked Eld Engrim, mostly bc she knew him from before.

And her favorite shanty is Haul Away and Go (bc of that shout out obviously)
